School Assembly

Tom has landed himself and his friends in detention! He was playing his homemade kazoo and making everyone laugh but Mr. Fullerman did NOT see the funny side. Especially because the kazoo sounded more like a PARP. It isn't all bad though, moany Marcus got a detention too and Tom has spare kazoos! Tom shows us how to make our own kazoos. Then a giant monster comes along and takes Tom's kazoo! Then Marcus, recites a poem about monsters and how they don't exist... just as the giant monster sneaks up behind him! Liz opens the Doodle Box to find a plain tote bag. She shows us how to draw our very own MONSTER bag. Back in detention, Tom gets us to help him pass the time by playing Name That Sound. Is it a monster eating a treat or a monster cleaning its feet?! Is it grandad's creaky knees or is it a very creaky door?! STILL sitting in detention, Tom can't resist and plays his parping kazoo one more time, making everyone laugh again - just as Mr. Fullerman walks into the classroom! Uh oh.
