Episode 13 - Waffle's Doggy Buddies

It's a sunny day and Waffle and Evie are playing together in the garden while Doug is staying with his mum, Zoe. Simon has been busy setting up the ball pit and Evie and Waffle dive straight in. Mrs Hobbs, wearing a camouflage hat, spies over the garden fence from next door. Gramps pops round with a box of homemade doggy biscuits for Waffle. He's invited his friend Mr Willow and his two dogs, Trevor and Violet, who look just like Waffle! Mr Willow is amazed to hear that Waffle can talk. Evie wants to show Mr Willow all the tricks Waffle can do but Waffle's too busy playing with his new doggy friends. As Evie retreats upstairs, wondering if Waffle isn't her best friend anymore, he comes to make sure she is ok. Evie and Waffle are abruptly interrupted by Mrs Hobbs' loud dog alarm. They see from Evie's bedroom window that Violet has escaped through the hole in the fence, into Mrs Hobbs' garden, causing George the cat to retreat inside. Evie and Waffle run downstairs to help. Trevor has followed Violet - now there are two dogs in Mrs Hobbs' garden! Mr Willow is quick to take charge but it's Waffle who saves the day. He speaks to Trevor and Violet and encourages them back through the hole, into the Brooklyn-Bells' garden. With the coast clear, George reappears. Waffle and George's friendship looks stronger than ever, much to everyone's delight, except for Mrs Hobbs who remains unimpressed by the pair's blossoming bond. In the evening, Simon, Jess and Waffle speak to Doug on their tablet. Everyone is excited that Doug will be home tomorrow.
