Episode 14 - Waffle's and George

It's the day Waffle's been waiting for - Doug's coming home! Jess is painting Doug's bedroom in preparation and Simon has already burnt the biscuits he's baked for Doug's return. In his excitement, Waffle rushes next door to see George, the cat, but Mrs Hobbs is tired of Waffle's unwelcome visits. After capturing Waffle on her secret camera, Mrs Hobbs, in costume, commando rolls and shoos Waffle away with her broom. But Waffle just wants to play! On hearing the commotion, Jess, Simon and Evie arrive. Mrs Hobbs explains she's had enough of Waffle and presses the button on her remote control to set her dog alarm but inadvertently locks herself out of her house. Her precious George is locked inside, asleep, and if he wakes or moves an inch, he might trigger the full-blown "laser security system". Waffle hatches an ingenious plan to unblock the tunnel between the two houses and uses it to get to George. But Mrs Hobbs tries to follow and gets stuck. Waffle triggers lasers and dodges traps but still manages to press the red button before George wakes. Jess, Simon and Evie congratulate Waffle. Doug arrives home with Zoe and Waffle is reunited with Doug. In their excitement to see Doug, the Brooklyn-Bells forget poor Mrs Hobbs who is still wedged in the tunnel. Zoe has an idea to free her. They lather Mrs Hobbs with grease which Zoe brought back from Alaska and Mrs Hobbs becomes slippy enough to push through! Mrs Hobbs concedes that it's finally time to accept that Waffle is here to stay. She even thanks Waffle for saving her George but also demands the tunnel is blocked up once more!
