The opening sequence plays.

Mr. Moon flies past several galaxies in a red rocket, then plunges into a colourful wormhole, and comes out circling around Earth. He has a round blue head with tiny black eyes.

The song goes MR. MOON, SEE YOU SOON...

The rocket?s blazing trail draws the title that reads "Mr. Moon" and Mr. Moon continues to fly through the star-filled galaxy.

The song continues LIKE A ROCKET IN THE SKY
NEW ADVENTURES EVERY DAY
THE STARS ARE RACING BY
SILVA'S HERE
AND GOLD STAR TOO
WHILE SUNNY SHINES UP HIGH...

Now Mr. Moon drives next to Silva, a pale, Silver Star, and Gold Star, a bright gold star. He then drives past Sunny, a little yellow sun climbing on top of a ladder above earth.

Mr. Moon continues to fly and the song goes AS MR. MOON GOES SOARING
THROUGH THE SKY
MR. MOON, SEE YOU SOON...

The constellations form different animals that wave as he goes by.

The song continues WHEN YOU DANCE

WHERE COULD WE GO TODAY?
MR. MOON!
SEE YOU SOON, MR. MOON!

All Mr. Moon?s friends gather on a crowd and wave as he flies back toward earth on his red rocket.

The opening sequence ends and the episode title reads "Little Sun, written by Katherine Sandford, Clive Endersby, Kate Minsky. Based on an original story by Kate Veale."

Silva, Stella, and Gold Star fly in space near Sunny and her ladder and play tag.

Stella says HA! YOU'RE IT, SILVA!

Sunny almost loses her balance on her ladder.

Silva says NOT FOR LONG!

Mr. Moon flies next to Stella and says CAREFUL, STELLA!
YOU SHOULDN'T BOTHER SUNNY
WHILE SHE'S SHINING.

Stella says SORRY.

Stella looks at Sunny as she shines brightly and smiles.

Stella flies over to Sunny and says WOW!
SUNNY! SUNNY!
YOUR RAYS LOOK SO AMAZING
WHEN YOU SHINE!

Sunny says WHY, THANK YOU, STELLA.
I HAVE TO BE CAREFUL TO SHINE
JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT.
NOT TOO MUCH
AND NOT TOO LITTLE.
I KNOW I HAVE IT JUST RIGHT
WHEN THE EARTH SPARKLES
IN THE SUNSHINE.

Mr. Moon flies over to Sunny and Stella and says WOO-HOO!

Stella says I WANNA SHINE JUST LIKE SUNNY.
CAN I, SUNNY? CAN I SHINE
LIKE YOU? CAN I? CAN I?

Sunny says SORRY STELLA, BUT THE EARTH
ONLY NEEDS ONE SUN.

Stella says AWWWWW...

Silva says THAT'S OK, STELLA.
WE CAN STILL PLAY!

Mr. Moon says I HAVE AN IDEA.
WHY DOESN'T STELLA

Stella says PLAY SHINING?
PLAY SHINING?

Gold Star says I KNOW! WE'LL GET STELLA
HER OWN PLANET TO SHINE ON.

Stella says MY OWN PLANET?

Silva says BUT WHERE ARE WE GONNA
GET A PLANET?

Gold Star says IT CAN'T BE A REAL PLANET.
THEY'RE WAY TOO BIG.
BUT MAYBE WE COULD
FIND A GOOD ASTEROID.

Silva says OH! AND I KNOW
WHO HAS ASTEROIDS!

They all say ANYOLD!

Gold Star, Silva, Mr. Moon, and Stella appear next to Anyold, a three-eyed, big-eared green alien floating in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter.

Anyold says HMMMM, AN ASTEROID
FOR STELLA TO SHINE ON.
IT HAS TO BE BIG,
BUT NOT TOO BIG,
AND ROUND LIKE A PLANET,
AND IT SHOULD BE
A PRETTY COLOR.
I DON'T SEE ANY
THAT ARE JUST RIGHT.

Stella points at a round, gray mini-planet and says HOW ABOUT THAT ONE?

Anyold says PERFECT!

Mr. Moon grabs hold of it with his rocket ship and says GOT IT!

Anyold says OOOH, THIS'LL BE
A BEAUTIFUL ONE
ONCE YOU GET THE DIRT OFF.

Stella says WHOA! MY OWN PLANET...
SO PRETTY AND SO PINK!

Mr. Moon says WE'D BETTER MOVE IT TO A PLACE
WHERE THERE AREN'T
SO MANY THINGS TO BUMP INTO.

Stella says THANKS, ANYOLD!

Anyold says HAVE FUN SHINING, STELLA!

They fly away from the asteroid belt and Mr. Moon says THERE YOU ARE, STELLA!
YOUR OWN PLANET.

Stella says IT'S...IT'S...STAR-TABULOUS!
I'M GOING TO TAKE CARE OF YOU,
LITTLE PLANET,
WITH MY SPECIAL SHINE.

Stella cleans the planet and floats in front of it.

Stella says THERE. NOW YOU'RE ALL READY!
HERE I GO!
MMMMMMMMM...

Mr. Moon says I THINK YOU'RE TOO CLOSE,
STELLA.

Gold Star says WAIT, I HAVE AN IDEA!
YOU CAN USE MY TOOL BOX
AS YOUR LADDER!
LET'S PUT IT
A LITTLE FARTHER OUT.

Mr. Moon says NICE ONE GOLD STAR!

Stella says NOW I REALLY FEEL LIKE SUNNY.
WATCH ME SHINE!
MMMMMMMMMMMM.

Mr. Moon says WAIT! WAIT!
THAT'S TOO MUCH SHINE, STELLA.
YOUR PLANET
IS GETTING WAY TOO HOT!

Stella stops shining and says WHOOPS.

Silva flies over and touches the planet and says UH-OH.

Silva touches it and says YOUR PLANET
IS REALLY COLD NOW.

Mr. Moon says I THINK YOU HAVE TO SHINE
JUST A LITTLE MORE, STELLA.

Stella says OOOH, RIGHT!
I FORGOT FOR A SECOND!
OK LITTLE PLANET.
MMMMMMMMM...

The planet starts to orbit her and says MY PLANET IS SPARKLING!
JUST LIKE EARTH!

Mr. Moon says YOU DID IT, STELLA!
YOU'RE SHINING
JUST LIKE SUNNY!
BUT SUNNY HAS MORE PLANETS
THAN JUST EARTH.

Silva says LET'S ALL BE PLANETS!

Gold Star says YES! I'LL BE MARS.
THAT'S MY FAVORITE!

Gold Star gets in position.

Mr. Moon says I'LL BE JUPITER.
THAT'S THE BIGGEST PLANET.

Mr. Moon gets in position around Stella.

Silva says WHICH PLANET SHOULD I BE?

Gold Star says YOU CAN BE MERCURY.
THAT'S THE PLANET
CLOSEST TO THE SUN.

Silva gets in position.

Mr. Moon says OK, EVERYBODY MOVE IN A CIRCLE
AROUND SUNNY...
I MEAN, STELLA!
LIKE THE PLANETS DO!

Silva says WEE HEE!
I'M SPINNING!
LOOK AT ME GO!

Mr. Moon says I'M JUPITER!

Silva says I'M MERCURY!

Gold Star says I'M MARS!

Stella says AND I'M THE SUN TAKING CARE
OF ALL MY PLANETS!

Silva and Gold Star run into each other.

Silva says HEY, WATCH IT, MARS!

Gold Star says OUTTA MY WAY, MERCURY!

Silva says OH, YEAH?
GET READY FOR
BUMP-A-PLANET!

Silva says I'M GONNA GET YOU MARS.

Gold Star says MERCURY RULES!
OH! NICE ONE!

Silva says OUTTA MY WAY!

Stella says SILLY PLANETS!
LOOK AT ME! I'M STILL SHINING!

Mr. Moon says AND DOING A MARVELOUS JOB!

Silva says YOU'RE THE BEST SUN EVER!

Gold Star says AND THE SHINIEST.

Sunny says THANKS! BUT IT SURE LOOKS FUN
TO BE A PLANET...

Silva says OH, IT IS!

Stella says SO, WHEN CAN I STOP SHINING?

Gold Star says NOT UNTIL THE DAY IS OVER.

Stella says OH. THAT SEEMS LIKE A LONG TIME.

Mr. Moon says WELL, THAT'S SUNNY'S JOB.

Stella says BUT...BUT...I WANT TO SPIN
AND TURN AND HAVE FUN!
I DON'T WANT TO JUST STAY
IN ONE PLACE ALL DAY.

Silva says THAT'S OK, STELLA.
WE CAN PLAY SOMETHING ELSE.

Mr. Moon says BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT THE REAL SUN.
IT'S JUST A GAME!

Stella says YOU'RE RIGHT!
IT WAS FUN TO BE A SUN,
BUT NOW I WANNA BE A STAR.

They all fly back over to Sunny.

Stella says SUNNY! SUNNY!
YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN ME!
I HAD MY OWN PLANET,
AND I SHINED ON IT JUST RIGHT!

Silva says SHE REALLY DID!

Gold Star says FOR A WHILE ANYWAY...

Stella says UH, YEAH.
BUT THEN I WANTED
TO PLAY SOMETHING ELSE.

Sunny says THAT'S ALL RIGHT, STELLA.
BEING THE SUN IS A BIG JOB.
LUCKILY I HAVE LOTS OF FRIENDS
TO KEEP ME COMPANY.
AND SPEAKING OF JOBS,
MR. MOON...

The sky turns orange and Mr. Moon rushes off.

Mr. Moon says UH-OH! IT'S TIME FOR ME
TO GET TO MY LADDER!
SEE YOU SOON, MR. MOON!

Now the three-eyed, big-eared, green alien Anyold appears on screen on an asteroid.

Anyold says WE HOPE THAT YOU
ENJOYED OUR STORY
IT'S OVER NOW,
BUT DON'T BE SORRY
THERE'S STILL LOTS OF THINGS
FOR US TO DO
AND WE ALL WANT
TO PLAY WITH YOU
SO COME ALONG AND VISIT SPACE
IT REALLY IS A WONDROUS PLACE
AND HERE'S WHERE YOU
JOIN IN THE FUN
LOOK! OUR SPACE SPARK
HAS BEGUN!

Now Silva floats in space next to Sirius, the cloud poodle constellation.

Silva says I'VE TAUGHT SIRIUS
SOME NEW TRICKS.
WANT TO SEE?
OK!
SIRIUS! SIRIUS!
COME HERE, BOY!
THERE YOU ARE,
YOU GOOD BOY.
SO, DO YOU WANT TO DO
YOUR NEW TRICKS?
[BARKING]
OK! WHICH ONE
SHOULD WE DO FIRST?
OK, BOY.

A circle, square, and triangle ring sit on the cloud in front of Sirius and Silva.

Silva says FIND THE TRIANGLE!
THAT'S NOT A TRIANGLE.
THAT'S YOUR TAIL!
I'LL GIVE YOU A HINT.
THE TRIANGLE IS THE SHAPE
WITH THREE SIDES.
MAYBE WE BETTER GIVE HIM
SOME HELP.
HMMMM.
CAN YOU TELL SIRIUS WHAT
THE COLOR OF THE TRIANGLE IS?
DID YOU SAY BLUE?
YOU'RE RIGHT!
SIRIUS!
CAN YOU FIND THE TRIANGLE?
IT'S BLUE!
GOOD BOY!
NOW DO YOUR
BLUE TRIANGLE TRICK!

Sirius balances the triangle on his nose.

Silva says EXCELLENT!
OK. NOW LET'S
DO THE SQUARE TRICK.
COME ON, SIRIUS,
FIND THE SQUARE.
IT'S THE ONE
WITH FOUR SIDES.
WE'D BETTER HELP SIRIUS AGAIN.
CAN YOU TELL HIM
WHAT COLOR THE SQUARE IS?
RED!
RIGHT AGAIN!
COME ON, SIRIUS,
FIND THE RED SQUARE.
GOOD BOY! NOW DO
YOUR RED SQUARE TRICK!

Sirius balances the red square on his back paw.

Silva says NICE ONE, SIRIUS!
OK, ONE LAST SHAPE.
SIRIUS, CAN YOU
FIND THE CIRCLE?
OK, WE'LL TELL YOU THE COLOR.
CAN YOU TELL SIRIUS
WHAT COLOR THE CIRCLE IS?
YELLOW...YES!
OK, SIRIUS, CAN YOU DO
THE YELLOW CIRCLE TRICK?

Now Sirius balances on the circle.

Silva says COME ON, BOY!
ANOTHER AMAZING TRICK!
GOOD BOY, SIRIUS, GOOD BOY!
WELL, THAT'S ALL THE TRICKS
FOR TODAY.
[BARKING]
WHAT'S THAT BOY?
YOU HAVE ANOTHER TRICK?
OH, HE'S DOING THE TRICK
WITH THE YELLOW THING.
WHAT SHAPE IS THAT AGAIN?
THE CIRCLE! YES!

Sirius stands on the circle.

Silva says YOU'RE SO SMART!
OH, HE'S ADDING
THE RED THING...
WHAT IS IT?
THE SQUARE!
RIGHT YOU ARE.
SIRIUS IS DOING A TRICK
WITH THE CIRCLE AND THE SQUARE!!

Sirius stands on the circle and holds the square with his back paw.

Silva says OH, WAIT...LOOK!
HE'S ADDING THE BLUE SHAPE.
WHAT IS THAT?
A TRIANGLE. YOU GOT IT!

Now Sirius balances on the circle, holds the square on his back paw, and balances the triangle on his nose.

Silva says SIRIUS IS USING
ALL THE SHAPES...
THE YELLOW CIRCLE,
THE RED SQUARE,
AND THE BLUE TRIANGLE.
NOW THAT'S A COOL TRICK.
AND THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!
