Mr. Moon flies past several galaxies in a red rocket, then plunges into a colourful wormhole, and comes out circling around Earth. He has a round blue head with tiny black eyes.

The song goes MR. MOON, SEE YOU SOON

The rocket?s blazing trail draws the title that reads "Mr. Moon" and Mr. Moon continues to fly through the star-filled galaxy.

The song continues LIKE A ROCKET IN THE SKY
NEW ADVENTURES EVERY DAY
THE STARS ARE RACING BY
SILVA'S HERE
AND GOLD STAR TOO
WHILE SUNNY SHINES UP HIGH

Now Mr. Moon drives next to Silva, a pale, Silver Star, and Gold Star, a bright gold star. He then drives past Sunny, a little yellow sun climbing on top of a ladder above earth.

Mr. Moon continues to fly and the song goes AS MR. MOON GOES SOARING
THROUGH THE SKY
MR. MOON, SEE YOU SOON

The constellations form different animals that wave as he goes by.

The song continues WHEN YOU DANCE

All Mr. Moon?s friends gather on a crowd and wave as he flies back toward earth on his red rocket.

The opening sequence ends and the episode title reads "Sunny?s Friend, written by Katherine Sandford, Clive Endersby, Kate Minsky. Based on an original story by Kate Veale."

Mr. Moon flies around Sunny who reads a letter on top of her ladder.

Mr. Moon says HEY SUNNY,
WHAT HAVE YOU GOT THERE?

Sunny says OH, HI, MR. MOON.
IT'S A LETTER
FROM MY STAR-FRIEND!
HE'S ON HIS WAY FOR A VISIT!

Mr. Moon says A VISITOR! BRILLIANT!!

Sunny says YOU'LL JUST LOOOOVE MY FRIEND,
MR. MOON.
HE'S SO MUCH FUN AND HE JUST
LOVES TO PLAY GAMES AND

Sunny points out in the distance and watches her yellow star friend blast into the solar system.

Sunny says OH, LOOK, HERE HE COMES!!

Gold Star, Silva, and Stella come out of Gold Star?s gold shimmery house and look outside.

Silva says UH, GOLD STAR?
WHAT IS THAT?

They watch as the yellow star friend flies by.

Gold Star says UH, I'M NOT SURE.
HE'S HEADED
TOWARDS SUNNY'S LADDER.

He looks through the telescope and says HUH! IT CAN'T BE!!

Stella says WHAT? WAS IS IT?

Silva says IT IS!! IT'S HIM!!!!

Gold Star says LET'S GO!!!

They all fly away and Silva says WAIT FOR MEEEEE!

Superstar floats in front of Sunny?s ladder.

He is a bright red large star with a white face and says SUNNY! I'M SO HAPPY
TO SEE YOU!

Sunny says SUPERSTAR! YOU'RE FINALLY HERE.

Superstar says I DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME,
I'M ON MY WAY
OUT OF THE GALAXY

Sunny says AS USUAL.

Superstar says BUT I JUST HAD TO COME
AND VISIT YOU!!
I CAN'T WAIT TO PLAY

Sunny says MR. MOON!
I'D LIKE YOU TO MEET
MY STAR FRIEND SUPERSTAR.

Mr. Moon and Superstar shake hands.

The stars fly over and Gold Star says SUNNY! SUNNY!
IS IT REALLY HIM?
IS IT REALLY
SUPERSTAR!!!!

Superstar shakes their hands.

Superstar says HEY FELLAS!

Gold Star says SUPERSTAR IS MY HERO!
HE INSPIRED ME TO GO TO MARS!

Stella says REALLY! HOW COOL IS THAT?

Sunny says WELL, SUPERSTAR
IS ALSO MY OLD FRIEND

Superstar says SUNNY AND I USED TO PLAY
TOGETHER WHEN WE WERE LITTLE!

Sunny says SUPERSTAR KNOWS
ALL THE BEST GAMES.

Stella says GAMES!!
WHAT GAMES DO YOU KNOW?
I LOOOVE GAMES!!
DO YOU KNOW ANY NEW GAMES
YOU CAN TEACH US?

Superstar flies away and says AS A MATTER OF FACT, I DO.
OOOH, LET'S PLAY, LET'S PLAY!

Superstar says SURE!!
BUT WE NEED A BIG CLEAR PLACE
WITH LOTS OF ROOM TO ZOOM!

Mr. Moon says I KNOW JUST THE SPOT.
FOLLOW MEEEEE!!

Mr. Moon flies away and Superstar says COME ON, SUNNY!!!
YOU'RE GONNA LOVE THIS GAME!
I'VE REALLY BEEN LOOKING
FORWARD TO PLAYING WITH YOU!

Sunny says I CAN'T GO JUST NOW, SUPERSTAR.
BUT YOU GO AHEAD. OK?

Superstar says WELL, OK

Sunny stands on her ladder and sings SUNNY SHINES ON THE LAND
SUNNY SHINES ON THE SEA
MY RAYS MAKE THE DAYS
AS BRIGHT AS CAN BE.
SO RAISE YOUR EYES
TO THE SKY SO BLUE

Out in space, Superstar says OK, LISTEN UP!
THE NAME OF THIS GAME IS

Superstar looks at Mr. Moon and says MR. MOON!

Mr. Moon says REALLY? WHOOOPEEEE!!
I'M FAMOUS!!

Superstar says NOT ONLY ARE YOU FAMOUS,
YOU'RE HOME BASE.
JUST PARK YOUR SUPAFAST HERE!
AND THE REST OF YOU
FOLLOW ME, OVER HERE!!!
NOW WE NEED SOMEONE TO BE IT!

Stella says OOH, PICK ME, PICK ME!!

Superstar says OK, OK, STELLA, YOU'RE IT.
YOU JUST STAND OVER HERE.
AND CLOSE YOUR EYES!

Stella says OH, THIS IS SOOOO EXCITING!

Superstar says OK, THIS IS HOW THE GAME WORKS.
STELLA WILL CALL OUT "MISTER!"
AND EVERYONE ELSE YELLS "MOON."
AND TAKES ONE STEP
TOWARDS THE SUPAFAST.
THAT WAY STELLA CAN HEAR
WHERE YOU ARE,
BUT SHE CAN'T SEE YOU
BECAUSE HER EYES ARE CLOSED.
SHE HAS TO TRY AND CATCH YOU,
AND IF SHE DOES,

Mr. Moon says THAT'S ME.

Superstar says THEN THEY WIN.

Back on her ladder, Sunny continues to sing MY RAYS MAKE THE DAYS

Superstar flies over and says SUNNY! SUNNY!
YOU'RE MISSING ALL THE FUN!

Sunny says SURE SOUNDS LIKE IT.

Superstar says COME ON! YOU JUST HAVE TO
GIVE IT A TRY!!!

Sunny says SORRY, SUPERSTAR.
I CAN'T PLAY JUST NOW.

Superstar says BUT SUNNY!
I CAME ALL THIS WAY!!!
AND I DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME!!

Sunny says I KNOW.
I'LL BE THERE AS SOON AS I CAN!

Superstar says UH, OK.

Superstar flies away and Sunny sings SUNNY SHINES ON THE LAND

Back over with Mr. Moon and the stars, Mr. Moon says GUESS WHAT!
SILVA ALMOST MADE IT
TO HOME BASE
BUT JUST BEFORE HE TOUCHED
THE SUPAFAST,
STELLA CAUGHT GOLD STAR,
SO NOW HE IS IT!

Superstar says GREAT. I GUESS.

Mr. Moon says WHAT'S WRONG, SUPERSTAR?

Superstar says I JUST WISH SUNNY
WOULD COME AND PLAY WITH US.
I GUESS SHE'S JUST
NOT THAT EXCITED TO SEE ME.

Mr. Moon says NO, NO! THAT'S NOT IT.
SUNNY IS REALLY HAPPY
THAT YOU'RE HERE.
IT'S JUST THAT
SHE CAN'T PLAY JUST NOW
BECAUSE SHE CAN'T LEAVE
HER LADDER UNTIL SUNSET.

Superstar says REALLY? WHY NOT?

Mr. Moon pushes the clouds out of the way to see Sunny.

Mr. Moon says THE EARTH DEPENDS ON SUNNY
FOR SUNLIGHT
SO ALL THOSE WONDERFUL
LIVING THINGS
CAN STAY WARM AND BE HEALTH.
WITHOUT SUNNY'S SHINE,
NOTHING ON EARTH CAN GROW.

Superstar says WOW, I JUST DIDN'T REALIZE
SHE HAD SUCH A BIG JOB.
TOO BAD.
IT SURE ISN'T AS MUCH FUN
PLAYING WITHOUT HER.

Mr. Moon says DON'T WORRY, SUPERSTAR.
ALL YOU HAVE TO DO

AND SUNNY CLIMBS DOWN HERS.

The sky turns orange and Sunny climbs down her ladder.

Sunny says WELL, THAT WAS A NICE SUNSET,

WELL, I GUESS SUPERSTAR
HAD TO GO

Superstar flies over and says HEY, SUNNY!

Sunny says SUPERSTAR! YOU'RE STILL HERE!!

Superstar says OF COURSE
I'M STILL HERE.
DO YOU THINK I'D LEAVE
WITHOUT PLAYING WITH YOU?

Sunny says BUT YOU WERE IN SUCH A HURRY.
YEAH, BUT SOME THINGS
ARE WORTH WAITING FOR.

Superstar says COME ON! WE CAN'T PLAY MR.MOON,
BECAUSE HE'S BUSY,
BUT I KNOW
LOTS OF OTHER GREAT GAMES.

Sunny says THANKS SOOO MUCH FOR WAITING,
SUPERSTAR.
COME ON, LET'S PLAY!

Mr. Moon flies by in his rocket and says SEE YOU SOON, MR. MOON.

Anyold the green, three-eyed, big-eared alien with a whirly tail sits on an asteroid and says WE HOPE THAT YOU

Now Cygnus the swan constellation appears on screen hiccupping fire meanwhile Draco the dragon constellation dances around.

Cygnus says OOOHH!
MR. MOON! DRACO AND I
HAVE OUR STARS MIXED UP AGAIN.
OH!
I HAVE DRACO'S SMALL RED
ZIPPY STARS.

Draco says AND I HAVE CYGNUS'S
BIG BLUE FLOATY STARS.
LA-LA-LAAAA

Cygnus says CAN YOU AND SILVA
HELP US OUT, PLEASE?

Mr. Moon says SURE, CYGNUS.

Silva says WE'LL HAVE YOUR STARS BACK
IN NO TIME.

Silva takes out his net and they fly around Cygnus.

They collect the stars on Cygnus?s back and both count and say ONE, TWO
THREE
FOUR

They forget a zippy star.

Silva says LET'S GET THESE SMALL RED
ZIPPY STARS OVER TO DRACO.

Now over by Draco, Draco says LA-LA-LAAAA
AH-HAH-HAH
OH-HUH-HEE-HOO-HOO

Mr. Moon says NICE WORK, SILVA.
NOW LET'S COLLECT UP ALL
CYGNUS'S BIG BLUE FLOATY STAR.

They both count and say ONE
TWO
THREE
FOUR

They leave a blue star on Draco.

Now they drop the blue stars on Cygnus.

Mr. Moon says HERE THEY COME.
WOO-HOO
YIPPEEEEE
GOOD WORK, SILVA!

Silva says WE HAVE ALL THE STARS BACK.

Cygnus says I'M NOT SO SURE ABOUT THAT,
MR. MOON.
I THINK I STILL HAVE A SMALL RED
ZIPPY STAR SOMEWHERE.

Mr. Moon says DO YOU SEE WHERE THE RED STAR IS
ON CYGNUS?

Silva says ON HER BACK?

Mr. Moon says OOH, THERE IT IS.
LET'S GET IT, SILVA.

Silva says GOT IT!

Mr. Moon says YEEE-HAAA
WOO-HOO

Silva says WHEEEE
WOO-HOO-HOO

Mr. Moon says THERE! NOW WE'VE SWITCHED BACK
ALL THE STARS.

Draco says MR. MOON,
YOU KNOW, I THINK I STILL HAVE
A BIG BLUE FLOATY STAR ON ME.

Mr. Moon says OH, REALLY?
DO YOU SEE WHERE
THE BLUE STAR IS ON DRACO?
ON HIS EAR!

Silva says OOH, I SEE IT.
GOT IT!

Silva drops the last blue star on Cygnus and says HERE YOU ARE.

Cygnus says AH. THANK YOU, MR. MOON.

Draco says I FEEL LIKE A SWAN AGAIN.
AND I FEEL REALLY DRAGON-Y.

Mr. Moon says TIME FOR ME TO GET TO MY LADDER.

They both say SEE YOU SOON, MR. MOON.
