A firefly flies around a pond at night.

Flick appears on screen and says IT'S TIME TO LIGHT THINGS UP.

Flick is a firefly who wears a pink beanie, a brown T-shirt, black pants, and blue shoes. He has little tiny glowing wings that flutter behind him.

The song goes SHUTTERBUGS!

Flick flies throw the pond past a large toad and through leaves and cattails.

The song continues NA NA NA NA-NA-NA-NA
SHUTTERBUGS!

He flies into a lit-up city made of mushrooms and tree trunks flying past Harvey eating a watermelon and Opal reading a book in a hammock. Harvey is a large blue fly that wears a blue shirt and black pants. Opal is a spider wearing a green shirt and black pants on 8 legs.

The song continues NA NA NA NA-NA-NA-NA
SHUTTERBUGS!
SHUTTERBUGS

Flick, Harvey, and Opal fly by the title written in the sky that reads "Bee Minus."

The episode title reads "Bee Minus."

[PHONE RINGING]

Flick looks at his watch and Gordon says FLICK!
YOU'VE GOT TO HURRY!
THERE'S NO NEWS!

Gordon is an elderly caterpillar with a white goatee and glasses.

Flick says BE THERE IN A FLASH BOSS!

Flick, Harvey, and Opal walk into Gordon?s office and Flick says HEY GUYS, GOOD TIMING.
UH, WHERE'S GORDON?

Opal says GORDON?

Harvey says HIDY-HOOOO!

In a painting of melted clocks, Gordon pops up and says SHUTTERBUGS!
THANK GOODNESS YOU'RE HERE!

He hops out of the picture and says IT'S THE HOTTEST
WEEK OF THE SUMMER,
AND THINGS ARE MELTING,
AND PEOPLE ARE FAINTING,
AND THE WHOLE TOWN IS
GOING SWEATY-BANANAS!

Flick says THAT... SOUNDS LIKE
A LOT OF NEWS.

Gordon says IT IS!
AND TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE,
SKEETER NEVER SHOWED UP TO
DELIVER THE DAYTIME PAPER.

Gordon looks at a huge stack of paper.

Opal says THAT'S WEIRD.
SKEETER LOVES HIS JOB.
HE'S NEVER MISSED A DAY.
NOT ONCE. EVER.
WE HAVE TO FIND HIM.

Flick says DON'T WORRY, GORDON.
WE'LL GET TO THE SCOOP, AND
SHED SOME LIGHT ON THE STORY.

The three bugs in the office sit at their desks and say I THINK...
WE CAN HELP.
WE CAN HELP.
WHEN YOU'RE IN THE DARK
OR LOST IN THE PARK
UH OH, WHAT?
DO YOU HEAR THAT FLY?
OH, WHAT'S THAT IN THE SKY?
ASK YOURSELF:
WHO, WHAT, WHERE,
WHEN, WHY, AND HOW.
IT'S TIME
WE SHED SOME LIGHT!
LIGHT! REAL BRIGHT!
LET'S MAKE IT
ALL SHINE - ALL RIGHT!
IT'S TIME
WE SHED SOME LIGHT!
EVERYTHING
WILL BE ALL RIGHT!
SHED SOME LIGHT!

Outside at the office at night, Flick says OK GUYS.
LET'S START WITH WHAT WE KNOW.
WHO?

Harvey says SKEETER!
WHAT?

Opal says HE'S MISSING!
WHERE?

Flick says FROM THE MURKY MUSE,
AND ALL OVER TOWN!
WHEN?

Harvey says DURING THE DAYTIME!
WHY?

Opal says THAT'S THE BIG QUESTION!
WHY WOULDN'T SKEETER SHOW
UP FOR A JOB HE LOVES?

Flick says IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE.
HOW DO WE FIGURE OUT OUR STORY
IF WE DON'T KNOW WHERE TO START?

Harvey says PFFT, THAT'S EASY.
BOY, YOU GUYS REALLY NEED
TO READ UP ON MOSQUITOES.

They fly over to a caf? entrance and Flick says UH, HARVEY...
WHY ARE WE HERE?

Harvey says THINK ABOUT IT, SKEETER
IS A MOSQUITO, RIGHT?

Opal says RIGHT?

Harvey says AND MOSQUITOES DRINK....?

Opal says HARVEY, EWWW!
AND... WHY WOULD HE
COME HERE FOR THAT?

Harvey says UH, GEE, I DON'T KNOW...
MAYBE BECAUSE THIS IS WHERE
THEY MAKE THE BEST MILK SHAKES?
THEY'RE SO DELICIOUS!

Opal says YOU BUMP YOUR HEAD AGAIN?

Flick says COME ON GUYS, WE NEED TO THINK.
WHERE WOULD SKEETER GO?
THIS STORY IS GOING TO TAKE
SOME REAL DETECTIVE WORK.

They all say DETECTIVE DEBBIE!

Detective Debbie pops up in front of the entrance and says SORRY IT TOOK ME SO LONG
TO GET HERE, SHUTTERBUGS.
IT'S TAKING FOREVER TO
PATROL THE ICK-STICKY MARSH
IN THIS HEAT. OOO-WEEE!

Detective Debbie is a pink dragonfly who wears a blue police uniform.

Flick says DEBBIE, SKEETER DIDN'T SHOW
UP FOR HIS PAPER ROUTE.
ANY LEADS FOR OUR STORY?

Detective Debbie says WELL, I DON'T KNOW
ABOUT SKEETER,
BUT I'VE HAD TO DETAIN
SOME OTHER NAUGHTY BUGS
AT THE POLICE STATION.
EVERYONE SEEMS
REAL CRANKY TODAY.

A muffled call comes in over Debbie?s walkie talkie.

Detective Debbie says ROGER THAT.
SORRY, SHUTTERBUGS, GOTTA JET!
GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR STORY.
DEBS OUT!

Debbie disappears into a white box.

Harvey says DETAIN?
IS THAT FRENCH FOR EAT?
DID SHE EAT THE NAUGHTY BUGS?

Opal says BEING DETAINED IS KIND OF LIKE
BEING IN DETENTION, HARVEY...
BUT WORSE.

Flick says OPAL, THAT'S IT!

The three bugs walk through bug school and Flick says SKEETER ALWAYS HAS SCHOOL
BEFORE HIS PAPER ROUTE,
AND THE ONLY WAY HE'D EVER
MISS HIS ROUTE IS IF HE WAS
DETAINED FOR SOME REASON, RIGHT?
SKEETER!

Flick takes a picture of Skeeter in a large cage.

Skeeter, a green mosquito with a blue and red T-shirt, picks up a red phone and says HEY GUYS.
YOU ANGRY AT ME TOO?

Flick says ANGRY?
WE WERE WORRIED.

Opal says WHY ARE YOU IN HERE?

Skeeter says IT'S SO NOT MY FAULT.
MY GYM TEACHER KEEPS GETTING MAD
AT ME FOR REALLY WEIRD REASONS.
HE STUCK ME IN HERE AND
WON'T LET ME BACK OUT!

Harvey says HOLD TIGHT, KID.
WE'LL BREAK YOU OUT.

Harvey runs back and then jumps on top of the cage to try and open it. As he pulls, he rips his pants.

Harvey says OOPS!

Flick picks up the phone and says SO, WHAT'S HE MAD AT EXACTLY?

Skeeter says UGH!
I RUN TOO SLOW.
I RUN TOO FAST.
I JUMP TOO HIGH.
I JUMP TO LOW.
HE'S DRIVING ME CRAZY!

Opal says WOW, THAT REALLY IS WEIRD.
WHO'S YOUR TEACHER?

Skeeter says BORIS.

Flick says BORIS THE BEE?
BORIS CAN BE PRICKLY SOMETIMES,
BUT I'VE NEVER SEEN HIM ANGRY.
MAYBE THERE'S ANOTHER
REASON WHY HE'S ACTING SO...
CRANKY?

Opal says THERE'S ONLY ONE
WAY TO FIND OUT.
WE NEED TO TALK TO
THE BIG BEE HIMSELF.

Now the bugs play on a soccer field with Floyd and Boris. Floyd is a red-headed fly. Boris is a bee with a white moustache.

Boris says FLOYD, WHY MUST YOU BE FANCY
PANTS WITH BALL ALL THE TIME?
JUST KICK BALL WITH FOOT!

Flick says BORIS!

Boris says OH! LET BORIS GUESS...
SHUTTERBUGS ARE HERE
BECAUSE OF SKEETER?
HE WAS COMPLAINING ABOUT ME?

Harvey says UH, WELL-...

Boris says HE IS LITTLE POOPY PUMPKIN!
I WANT HIM TO RUN
IN STRAIGHT LINE
BUT HE GOES ALL WIBBLY-WOBBLY!
HOW HARD IS IT TO
FOLLOW INSTRUCTION?

Opal says MAYBE, WOOH...
IT'S JUST THE HEAT
DISTRACTING HIM?

Boris says IS NOT HOT.
LOOK AT TEMPERATURE!

Flick says THE THERMOMETER IS ALMOST
AT ZERO DEGREES CELSIUS...
THAT'S THIRTY-TWO
DEGREES FAHRENHEIT?

Opal says THAT CAN'T BE RIGHT...
WATER FREEZES AT
THAT TEMPERATURE.

Boris yells at two other bugs and says HEY!
NO... MORE... WIBBLY... WOBBLY!
OR FANCY PANTS!
QUIT ON BORIS.
NOW I NEED THREE PLAYERS.
WHERE WILL BORIS FIND...
THREE...
NEW...

Boris looks at Opal, Harvey, and Flick.

Now the three bugs train with Boris.

Opal runs through tires and falls. Flick kicks soccer balls and gets tired. Harvey runs around a soccer ball and tries to kick the ball, misses, falls down, and rips his pants.

Flick pulls Harvey from the field and says COME ON, BUDDY.
WE NEED TO KEEP YOU HYDRATED.
LET'S GET SOME WATER INTO YOU.

Opal holds a hose and says FLICK'S RIGHT.
EVEN PLANTS AND ANIMALS
NEED WATER TO SURVIVE.
AND IN THIS HEAT, YOU
NEED TO HYDRATE EVEN MORE.

Harvey says MY FOOD HOLE... SO DRY.

Opal says I JUST DON'T GET IT.
HOW CAN THE THERMOMETER SAY
ITS COLD WHEN IT'S THIS HOT?

Flick says WE NEED TO MAKE SENSE OF THIS...
BY USING OUR SENSES!

The glow worms dance and sing OOOH, WE CAN HELP WITH THAT.
TELL ME 'BOUT THE SENSES.
SEEING.
HEARING.
TELL ME MORE, TELL ME MORE.
SMELLING.
TASTING.
THERE'S ONE MORE
SENSE YOU KNOW.
OH YEAH, TOUCHING!
ALL FIVE SENSES.
NOW IT'S MAKING SENSE.
LA LA LA LA, LA LA LA LA.
YOU GOTTA USE
ALL YOUR SENSES.
OH YEAH!
LA LA LA LA, LA LA LA LA.
IT'S REALLY,
REALLY,
REALLY...
MAKING SENSE!

Back on the field, the bugs look at the large thermometer at 0 degrees.

Flick says THE THERMOMETER LOOKS OKAY.

Harvey says AND THE ICE CREAM
LOOKS GOOD TOO.

Flick says GOOD.
HOLD ON, WHAT?

Harvey serves himself two scoops of ice cream and says COME TO PAPA.

Flick selects a hand from his watch and he touches the thermometer.

Flick says THE THERMOMETER IS COLD.
REALLY COLD.
BUT...
OPAL IS SWEATY AND WARM.

Harvey says THAT'S WEIRD.
I'M NICE AND COOL OVER HERE.

Flick says HARVEY, TAKE THAT
ICE CREAM CART AWAY.

Harvey says YOU DON'T HAVE TO ASK ME TWICE.

When Harvey moves the ice cream cart, the temperature goes up.

Opal says NOW THAT MAKES MORE SENSE.
IT REALLY IS AS HOT AS IT FEELS!

Harvey says BUT THERE'S STILL
ONE UNTOLD STORY!
WHAT FLAVOUR IS TASTIEST?

Opal says ACTUALLY, A COOL TREAT
MIGHT BE EXACTLY
WHAT BORIS NEEDS TO CHILL OUT.

Flick flies over to Boris and says BORIS, WE GOT YOU SOMETHING.

Boris says A TREAT?
FOR BORIS?

Flick gives Boris an ice cream cone that melts and Boris says THIS IS ICE PUDDLE,
NOT ICE CREAM!
THIS IS IT!
NO MORE!
BORIS PUT EVERYONE IN DETENTION
AND NEVER LET POOPY
PUMPKINS OUT!
EVER!

Opal says BORIS, YOU'VE GOT A
SERIOUSLY BAD SUNBURN.
THAT BOTHERING YOU?

Boris says WELL, NOW THAT YOU
MENTION IT, IT HAS MADE BORIS
LITTLE BIT CRANKY.

Harvey sprays Boris with water.

Boris says THAT WAS
RUDE, BUT GOOD.
BORIS HAVE THING HE
MUST SAY TO SKEETER.

Now the bugs and Boris stand in the cage with Skeeter.

Boris says SKEETER.
YOU DID NOTHING WRONG.
I AM SORRY.
BORIS MAY HAVE BEEN A LITTLE...
HARD ON YOU.
AND TEAM.
BUT IT NOT BECAUSE
BORIS NO LIKE YOU.
BORIS JUST WANT YOU TO SUCCEED.
YOU HAVE SO MUCH POTENTIAL!

Skeeter says I GUESS I WASN'T TRYING
AS HARD AS I COULD HAVE.

Harvey walks in and sprays Skeeter with the hose and says COOLING PATROL!

Flick snaps Skeeter?s picture.

Flick says WHEN IT'S THIS HOT OUT,
IT'S EASY FOR EVERYONE
TO GET A LITTLE CRANKY.

Harvey says DRINKING WATER HELPS.
ANYONE ELSE WANT HELP?

Skeeter says THANKS GUYS.
YOU DIDN'T JUST HELP ME,
YOU HELPED SAVE THE TEAM.
SAME TIME TOMORROW, COACH?

Boris says OF COURSE!
AND DO NOT WORRY,
BORIS BRING WATER.

Skeeter says AND MAYBE AFTER WE CAN
GO FOR MILK SHAKES!

Harvey says I KNEW IT!

Back at the newspaper, Flick uploads the story and says DONE AND DONE.
HARVEY, RAISE THE ROOF!
IT'S GLOW TIME!

The three glow worms appear on a large screen above the whole town and sing HERE'S THE LATEST BUZZ!
THEY WERE STUCK IN A MESS,
THEY HAD TO TAKE ACTION.
SHINE A LIGHT
ON THE SITUATION.
HOLD THE PRESSES.
TAKE A BREATH NOW.
WHO, WHAT, WHERE,
WHEN, WHY, AND HOW.
AND THEY LOOKED ALL AROUND
AND THEY FOUND THE ANSWER...
BY USING THEIR 5 SENSES.
THEY GOT THE SCOOP.
SCOOP!
THEY GOT THE SCOOP.
SCOOP!
THIS JUST IN...
THEY BROKE THE STORY!
THEY GOT THE SCOOP.
SCOOP!
THEY GOT THE SCOOP.
SCOOP, SCOOP!
THIS JUST IN...
AND THAT'S THE NEWS!

Back in the office, Gordon says GREAT STORY SHUTTERBUGS!
THE PAPERS BEING
DELIVERED AGAIN,
AND BORIS AND THE SOCCER TEAM
ARE NO LONGER CRANKY PANTS.

Flick says WELL, YOU KNOW,
IT'S EASY TO LOSE YOUR COOL
WHEN IT'S HOT OUT.

Opal says FOR SURE.
THAT'S WHY STAYING
HYDRATED IS SO IMPORTANT.

Harvey stands by a water dispenser and says TOTALLY AGREE.
WHICH IS WHY I'M STAYING RIGHT
HERE FOR THE REST OF THE NIGHT!
I JUST WISH THE
WASHROOM WAS A BIT CLOSER...
UGH...

Harvey squirms around and rips his pants and says OOPS!

The episode ends.

Flick flies through the night sky and says IT'S TIME TO LIGHT THINGS UP.

Now a shot of the forest city features the episode title that reads "Bee Yourself."

[PHONE RINGING]

Flick looks at his watch.

Gordon says FLICK, YOU THERE?
THE TOWN'S ABUZZ
WITH TERRIBLE NEWS!

Flick flies to the office and says BE THERE IN A FLASH, BOSS!

Flick, Harvey, and Opal walk into Gordon?s office and Flick says HEY GUYS, GOOD TIMING!
BUT UH, WHERE'S GORDON?

Opal says GORDON? HELLO?

In a picture frame of a soccer ball and goal, Gordon says SHUTTERBUGS!
THANK GOODNESS YOU'RE HERE.

He hops out of the frame and says WE'VE GOT A REAL STINGER
OF A STORY ON OUR HANDS.

The bugs say WHAT?!

Gordon says BERMIE THE BEE DIDN'T SHOW
UP FOR HIS SOCCER GAME,
AND HIS DAD BORIS
IS REALLY UPSET.
BERMIE'S ALWAYS BEEN
A SENSITIVE BEE.
WHO KNOWS WHERE HE'S
GONE, OR WHAT HE'S DONE!

Flick says DON'T WORRY, GORDON.
WE'LL GET THE SCOOP AND SHED
SOME LIGHT ON THIS STORY!

The glow worms sit in the office and sing I THINK...
WE CAN HELP.
WE CAN HELP.
WHEN YOU'RE IN THE DARK
OR LOST IN THE PARK
UH OH, WHAT?
DO YOU HEAR THAT FLY?
OH, WHAT'S THAT IN THE SKY?
ASK YOURSELF:
WHO, WHAT, WHERE,
WHEN, WHY, AND HOW.
IT'S TIME
WE SHED SOME LIGHT!
LIGHT! REAL BRIGHT!
LET'S MAKE IT
ALL SHINE - ALL RIGHT!
IT'S TIME
WE SHED SOME LIGHT!
EVERYTHING
WILL BE ALL RIGHT!
SHED SOME LIGHT!

Outside of the office at night, Flick says ALRIGHT GUYS, LET'S START
WITH THE THINGS WE KNOW.
WHO?

Harvey says BERMIE!
WHAT?

Opal says HE'S MISSING!
WHERE?

Flick says FROM THE SOCCER STADIUM!
WHEN?

Harvey says RIGHT AROUND GAME TIME!
WHY?

Opal says THAT'S WHAT WE NEED TO FIND OUT!
HOW?

Flick says BY CHECKING WHERE
HE WAS LAST SEEN.
THE STADIUM!

The bugs search in the locker room at the stadium and Flick says BERMIE!

Opal says BERMIE?
ARE YOU HERE?
HARVEY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

Harvey bounces a soccer ball on his head and says USING MY HEAD.
TO FIND A SOCCER PLAYER, YOU
NEED TO BECOME A SOCCER PLAYER!

The ball bounces back and knocks Harvey down.

Harvey says OOH!

Opal says MORE HEAD, LESS FACE, HARVEY.
YOU OKAY?

Harvey says YEAH.
HEY, IS THAT SOUND COMING
FROM INSIDE MY BRAINBALL?
MAYBE I'M NOT OKAY.

Flick says SOUND DOESN'T START FROM
INSIDE YOUR HEAD, HARVEY.
IT'S CAUSED FROM
OUTSIDE VIBRATIONS.
LIKE WHEN THINGS MOVE OR...

Harvey points at a pile of dirty jerseys on the floor and says BUZZ!?
THE JERSEYS ARE
SO DIRTY, THEY'RE BUZZING!
THAT'S SUPER GROSS.

Bermie pops out and scares both him and Harvey. Flick snaps a picture.

Flick says BERMIE?
UH, WHAT ARE YOU
DOING IN THERE, BUDDY?

Bermie, a small bee with a red cap and blue jersey, says OH WELL, YOU KNOW, HEH.
JUST GETTING READY FOR
THE SOCCER GAME BY,
UMM... HIDING.

Opal says HIDING!?
WHY?

Flick says I THOUGHT YOU AND
YOUR DAD LOVED SOCCER?

Bermie says DAD LOVES SOCCER.
BUT I... WELL, LET'S JUST
SAY IT'S REALLY NOT MY THING.
I'M TERRIBLE AT THE
ONE THING MY DAD LOVES.

Harvey says I CAN TEACH YOU. CHECK THIS OUT.
OOOF!

Harvey kicks the ball into the locker that bounces off and knocks him down.

Harvey says AH!

Opal says MORE HEAD-...

Harvey says... LESS FACE?

Flick says BERMIE, I'M SURE YOUR DAD
LIKES TO DO OTHER THINGS.
WE CAN FIND SOMETHING
YOU BOTH REALLY ENJOY.

Opal says FOR SURE!
WHAT SORT OF THINGS
DO YOU LIKE TO DO?

Bermie says UH, CREATIVE THINGS?
AWESOME.

Opal says CREATIVE THINGS ARE
THE BEST THINGS.
THEY HELP INSPIRE
PEOPLE, EVEN ATHLETES.

Bermie says THEY DO?

Flick says ABSOLUTELY!
WHAT KINDS OF CREATIVE
THINGS DO YOU LIKE?

Bermie says I'M NOT REALLY SURE.
I'VE HAVEN'T TRIED MUCH,
JUST IN CASE DAD FOUND OUT.

Opal says MAYBE YOU JUST NEED
TO GIVE IT A REAL GO,
AND SHOW BORIS WHAT
YOU'RE GOOD AT.

Bermie says WELL, I KIND OF LIKE PAINTING.

Flick says GREAT!
I KNOW JUST THE PLACE.

Opal says PERFECT!
IF WE FIND BERMIE'S
SPECIAL SKILL,
WE'LL HAVE AN EVEN
BETTER STORY TO REPORT.

They fly over to arts court, a plaza with canvases, easels, and paint buckets.

Bermie says WHOA!

Flick says ARTS COURT IS THE PERFECT
PLACE TO BE CREATIVE!

Harvey says OOOH, I JUST LOVE PAINTING.
JUST FOLLOW MY LEAD AND
DO WHAT COMES NATURAL.
I CALL THIS,
CHEEKISM.

Harvey paints a picture of Bermie smiling with his butt.

Opal says I CAN'T BELIEVE HE
DID THAT WITH HIS BUTT.

Bermie says I LOVE IT!
BUT, DO YOU THINK I COULD
TRY SOMETHING A LITTLE...
DIFFERENT?

Later Bermie paints the bugs? faces, walks over to a mirror, and says ON THE COUNT OF THREE. ONE...
TWO...... THREE--- AHHH!

They look in a mirror, the camera snaps, and after they see themselves painted as clowns, they scream.

Bermie says YOU DON'T LIKE IT?

Flick says NO, BERMIE.
YOU DID AN AMAZING JOB.
WE JUST...

Opal says WE DIDN'T
KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT, IS ALL.

Bermie says YEAH, WELL, MAYBE PAINTINGS
NOT REALLY MY THING.
WHAT ELSE COULD WE TRY?

Opal says WELL, OKAY.
WHAT ABOUT DANCING?
IT'S SUPER CREATIVE,
AND ATHLETIC.
YOUR DAD MIGHT LOVE IT!

Bermie shrugs and says WORTH A SHOT, I GUESS.

Now the bugs and Bermie stand on a stage.

Opal says OKAY, WATCH AND LEARN, FELLAS!
WOW!

Opal break dances and says WHOA, WHOA, WHOA. YAH!

Bermie says HEY COOL!
I WANT TO TRY.
UMMM, WHAT ABOUT THIS?

Bermie dances DAT, DA, DA...
LA, LA LA...

He falls down and says OOF. AHH! WHOA!
UM.
I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS THE KIND
OF THING THAT'LL IMPRESS MY DAD.
SORRY GUYS.

Bermie flies away and Flick says WE COULD REALLY
USE SOME ADVICE...
BEFORE THIS TURNS
INTO A FULL-ON BEE-MERGENCY!

Detective Debbie rises up on stage and they all say DETECTIVE DEBBIE!

Detective Debbie says SORRY IT TOOK ME SO LONG
TO GET HERE, SHUTTERBUGS!
FOLKS ARE BUGGING OUT OVER
THIS MISSING SOCCER-BEE.

Flick says THAT'S THE STORY
WE'RE WORKING ON.
SOCCER'S NOT BERMIE'S THING.

Detective Debbie says YOU KNOW, WHEN I WAS LITTLE,
FLYING WASN'T MY THING...
THANKS TO MY CLIPPED
WING AND ALL.
THOUGHT IT MADE ME "LESS COOL."
BUT THEN I REALIZED BEING
DIFFERENT AND HAVING
DIFFERENT ABILITIES IS
THE VERY DEFINITION OF COOL!
SOMETIMES, IT'S JUST A MATTER OF
TRYING A COMBINATION OF THINGS,
TO SEE WHAT WORKS BEST.

A muffled call comes in over Debbie?s walkie talkie.

Detective Debbie says ROGER THAT.
SORRY SHUTTERBUGS, GOTTA BOOGIE.
GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR STORY.
DEBS OUT!

She goes down on the trap door and Flick says COMBINATION... THAT'S IT!
DEBBIE, YOU'RE A GENIUS!
GUYS, CAN YOU HELP
FIND THIS STUFF?
I'LL TAKE CARE OF
FINDING BERMIE.
I'M GOING TO HAVE TO MAKE SENSE
OF THIS, BY USING MY SENSES!
OOOH, WE CAN HELP WITH THAT.

The glow worms dance and sing TELL ME 'BOUT THE SENSES.
SEEING.
HEARING.
TELL ME MORE, TELL ME MORE.
SMELLING.
TASTING.
THERE'S ONE MORE
SENSE YOU KNOW.
OH YEAH, TOUCHING!
ALL FIVE SENSES.
NOW IT'S MAKING SENSE.
LA LA LA LA, LA LA LA LA.
YOU GOTTA USE
ALL YOUR SENSES.
OH YEAH!
LA LA LA LA, LA LA LA LA.
IT'S REALLY,
REALLY,
REALLY...
MAKING SENSE!

Now Flick flies and looks at his watch. He selects the ears and hears Bermie singing on a bench by himself.

Bermie sings WHEN I TRY...
TO JUST BE ME...
I ALWAYS WORRY...
NO ONE WILL SEE...
I WANT TO FLY...

Flick lands next to him and says YOU SURE HAVE A GREAT
SINGING VOICE, BERMIE!
YOU EVER JAM WITH A BAND BEFORE?

Now on a stage with Flick, Bermie says I'M NOT SO SURE
ABOUT THIS, FLICK.
MY VOICE IS TOO LITTLE...
NO ONE WILL HEAR ME.

Flick says DON'T WORRY, BERMIE.
WE'VE GOT YOU COVERED.
SOUND, LIKE YOUR VOICE,
IS CAUSED BY VIBRATIONS
MOVING THROUGH THE AIR.
IF WE AMPLIFY THAT
SOUND WITH THESE AMPS,
WE CAN VIBRATE THAT
SOUND SUPER LOUD.
PEOPLE WILL HEAR YOUR VOICE,
RIGHT ACROSS THE MARSH.

Bermie says BUT, I ONLY LIKE TO SING
WHEN PEOPLE CAN'T SEE ME.

Flick says WE'VE GOT THAT COVERED TOO.
MY SON.

Boris paces on the soccer field and says WHERE IS MY SON?

Over a loud speaker, Bermie says AHEM, IS THIS THING ON?
CHECK, CHECK, CHECK.

Boris says BERMIE?
BERMIE!

A video screen pops up and Bermie sings BE BE BE BE BE BE BE BE
BE BE BE BE BE BE BE BE
WHEN I TRY TO JUST BE ME
TRY, I TRY, I TRY TO BE ME

Bermie and the bugs play instruments and Bermie sings I ALWAYS WORRY
NO ONE WILL SEE
I KNOW, I KNOW,
BUT I WANT TO BE ME
I WANT TO FLY
AND JUST BE FREE,
AND BE THE BEE
THAT I WANT TO BE
BE BE BE BE BE BE BE BE
AND BE THE BEE
THAT I WANT TO BE
BE BE BE BE BE BE BE BE
AND BE, AND BE THE
BEE THAT I WANT TO BE!

They take a picture and Boris says BERMIE?

Bermie says DAD!
JUST LET ME EXPLAIN.

Boris walks over to Bermie on stage, hugs him, and says NO, NO BERMIE.
I MUST TELL YOU...
THAT WAS THE BEST
SONG I HAVE EVER HEARD.
PAPA IS SO PROUD OF YOU.

Bermie says YOU'RE NOT MAD?

Boris says MAD?
BERMIE, WHATEVER YOU DO, IF
YOU ARE HAPPY, BORIS IS HAPPY!
BESIDES, I PLAY MEAN
KEYBOARD MYSELF.
I ALWAYS WANTED TO PLAY ON
STAGE, BUT NEVER HAVE COURAGE...
NOT LIKE YOU.

Boris?s team plays on the soccer field and Boris plays the keyboard as Bermie sings BE BE BE BE BE BE BE BE
AND BE, AND BE THE
BEE THAT I WANT TO BE

Back at the office, Flick uploads the report and says DONE AND DONE.
HARVEY, RAISE THE ROOF!

They all say IT'S GLOW TIME!

The three glow worms appear on a large screen above the whole town and sing HERE'S THE LATEST BUZZ!
THEY WERE STUCK IN A MESS,
THEY HAD TO TAKE ACTION.
SHINE A LIGHT

AND THEY LOOKED ALL AROUND

THEY GOT THE SCOOP.
SCOOP!
THIS JUST IN...
THEY BROKE THE STORY!
THEY GOT THE SCOOP.
SCOOP!
THEY GOT THE SCOOP.
SCOOP, SCOOP!
THIS JUST IN...
AND THAT'S THE NEWS!

Back in the office, Gordon says GREAT STORY, SHUTTERBUGS!
NOT ONLY DID YOU FIND BERMIE,
BUT YOU ALSO HELPED HIM FIND
SOMETHING BOTH HE AND HIS
DAD LOVE DOING TOGETHER.

Flick says IT WAS ALL BERMIE.
HE FOUND THE COURAGE TO JUST BE
HIMSELF, AND FOLLOW HIS DREAMS.

Harvey stands in front of a soccer ball and says JUST LIKE ME.
I'M GOING TO BE A
SOCCER SUPERSTAR!

Opal says HARVEY, WAIT!

Harvey sets up to kick and says YEAH YEAH, I KNOW OPAL.
MORE HEAD, LESS-...

He misses the ball, flips in the air, and says AGH, OOF!

Opal says HE'S REALLY GETTING
BETTER AT THIS.

The show ends and the credits roll.
