A firefly flies around a pond at night.

Flick appears on screen and says IT'S TIME TO LIGHT THINGS UP.

Flick is a firefly who wears a pink beanie, a brown T-shirt, black pants, and blue shoes. He has little tiny glowing wings that flutter behind him.

The song goes SHUTTERBUGS!

Flick flies throw the pond past a large toad and through leaves and cattails.

The song continues NA NANA NA-NA-NA-NA
SHUTTERBUGS!

He flies into a lit-up city made of mushrooms and tree trunks flying past Harvey eating a watermelon and Opal reading a book in a hammock. Harvey is a large blue fly that wears a blue shirt and black pants. Opal is a spider wearing a green shirt and black pants on 8 legs.

The song continues NA NANA NA-NA-NA-NA
SHUTTERBUGS!
SHUTTERBUGS

Flick, Harvey, and Opal fly by the title written in the sky that reads "Shutterbugs."

A caption appears with the name of the episode. It reads "Dayweaver."

[RINGING]

Flick looks at his watch and Gordon says FLICK! I HAVE TO STEAL
YOU FOR A BIT.
GOT A LEAD ON A BIG STORY!

Gordon is an older caterpillar with a white goatee and glasses.

Flick says BE THERE IN A FLASH, BOSS!

Flick flies into the news centre and says HEY GUYS,
GOOD TIMING!
BUT UH,
WHERE'S GORDON?

Flick, Harvey, and Opal walk into Gordon’s office and Opal says GORDON?

Harvey says GORDON-GORDON
BO-BORDON?

Gordon pops out of a painting on the wall and says SHUTTERBUGS!
[YAWN]
THANK GOODNESS YOU'RE HERE.
BREAKING NEWS.
THERE'S A THIEF IN MURKY MARSH!
THE TOWNSBUGS ARE OUTRAGED!
THINGS ARE GOING
MISSING DURING THE DAY,
ONLY TO BE DISCOVERED
LATER, WRAPPED UP IN A WEB!

Opal says IS THAT A SHOE?

Harvey says I SEE SOMEONE'S UNDERPANTS!

Flick says WHO WOULD BE WRAPPING UP
ALL THIS STUFF IN A WEB?

Harvey says ONLY A SUPER VILLAIN
STEALS UNDERPANTS.

Gordon says THAT'S THE STORY, AND I WANT IT!
SHUTTERBUGS, YOU WILL UNMASK OUR
MYSTERIOUS WEB THIEF FOR THE
FRONT PAGE OF THE MURKY MUSE!

Opal says YES WE WILL!

Harvey says ALRIGHT, YOU HEARD THE GORDO, WE
HAVE A SUPER VILLAIN TO CATCH!

Flick says WE'LL NEED TO GET THE SCOOP, AND
SHED SOME LIGHT ON THIS STORY!

Three glow-worms sit in the office sit at their desks and say I THINK...
WE CAN HELP.

They sing a song that says WE CAN HELP.
WHEN YOU'RE IN THE DARK
OR LOST IN THE PARK
UH OH, WHAT?
DO YOU HEAR THAT FLY?
OH, WHAT'S THAT IN THE SKY?
ASK YOURSELF:
WHO, WHAT, WHERE,
WHEN, WHY, AND HOW.
IT'S TIME
WE SHED SOME LIGHT!
LIGHT! REAL BRIGHT!
LET'S MAKE IT
ALL SHINE - ALL RIGHT!
IT'S TIME
WE SHED SOME LIGHT!
EVERYTHING
WILL BE ALL RIGHT!
SHED SOME LIGHT!

A bug says HEY! MY UNDERPANTS.
THAT WAS MY ONLY PAIR!

An ant says GIVE ME BACK
MY TOOTHBRUSH!

An old bug says WHO TOOK
MY LUCKY SOCK!

Harvey touches the web with all the clothes and says IT'LL TAKE..
[GRUNT]
WEEKS TO CUT...
[GRUNT]
ALL THIS STUFF OUT!

Opal says IT'S DEFINITELY THE WORK
OF AN ORB-WEAVER, LIKE ME...
BUT IF IT'S WEAVING DURING THE
DAY, IT MUST BE A DAY-WEAVER.

Harvey says DAY-WEAVER?
I THOUGHT YOU GUYS
WERE ALL NIGHT-WEAVERS?

Opal says OH NO, THERE'S LOTS OF SPIDERS
WHO WEAVE DURING THE DAY HARVEY.
BUT I CAN'T UNDERSTAND
WHY ONE WOULD WANT TO STEAL
STUFF FROM OTHER BUGS!

Flick says TIME TO PUT OUR HEADS
TOGETHER FOR A HUDDLE.
WE KNOW THE WHO!

Opal says IT'S AN ORB-WEAVER.
WHAT?

Harvey says STEALING STUFF!
WHERE?

Flick says IN MURKY MARSH?
WHEN?

Opal says DURING THE DAY!
WHY?

Harvey says THAT'S WHAT WE NEED TO FIND OUT!
HOW?

Flick says I'LL QUESTION THE TOWNSBUGS,
SEE IF ANYONE SAW ANYTHING.

Harvey says I'LL LOOK FOR CLUES.
SUPER VILLAINS
ALWAYS LEAVE CLUES.

Opal says AND I'LL EXTRAPOLATE FROM
THE GEOGRAPHICAL PATTERN
OF PAST WEBS TO DISCERN
THE NEXT TARGET AREA.
[SIGH]
I'LL TRY TO FIGURE OUT
WHERE THE NEXT WEB WILL BE?

Flick says GREAT!
GET TO IT, SHUTTERBUGS!
[CRASH]

The go in opposite directions and bump into each other.

Flick says LET'S TRY THAT AGAIN.

(music plays)

Flick knocks on the neighbours’ doors with a picture of the web, Harvey tries to take the clothes out of the web and Opal checks on her files.

Harvey says I GOT...
NOTHING.

Opal says ME EITHER.

Flick says NO ONE SAW OR HEARD ANYTHING.

Opal says I GUESS WE'RE NOT VERY GOOD
AT THIS DETECTIVE STUFF.

[WAILING SIREN]

Detective Debbie pops out of a flower.

Detective Debbie is a pink dragonfly who wears a blue police uniform.

They all say DETECTIVE DEBBIE!

Debbie says SORRY IT TOOK ME SO LONG
TO GET HERE, SHUTTERBUGS!
TRAFFIC'S CRAZY!
SO MANY BUGS RUSHING TO
GET HOME BEFORE SUNRISE.
[YAWN]
I'M JUST ABOUT
TO CALL IT QUITS TOO.
GOTTA GET MY SLEEP
OR I GET CRANKY!
ANY LUCK FIGURING OUT WHO'S
WRAPPING THIS STUFF UP?

Flick says ACTUALLY... NO!

Debbie says DON'T SWEAT IT, FLICK MY MAN.
YOU'LL MAKE SENSE
OF THIS EVENTUALLY.
[A MUFFLED CALL COMES IN
OVER DEBBIE'S WALKIE TALKIE]
ROGER THAT.
SORRY SHUTTERBUGS,
GOTTA SPLIT.
GOOD LUCK
WITH YOUR STORY.
DEBS OUT!

She jumps back inside the flower.

Flick says 'MAKE SENSE OF IT'.
OF COURSE!
IT'S TIME TO MAKE SENSE OF
THIS, BY USING OUR SENSES!

The three glow-worms sing a song that says OOOH, WE CAN HELP WITH THAT.
TELL ME 'BOUT THE SENSES.
SEEING.
HEARING.
TELL ME MORE, TELL ME MORE.
SMELLING.
TASTING.
THERE'S ONE MORE
SENSE YOU KNOW.
OH YEAH, TOUCHING!
ALL FIVE SENSES.
NOW IT'S MAKING SENSE.
LA LA LA LA, LA LA LA LA.
YOU GOTTA USE
ALL YOUR SENSES.
OH YEAH!
LA LA LA LA, LA LA LA LA.
IT'S REALLY,
REALLY,
REALLY...
MAKING SENSE!

They touch their watches and glow elements come out of them.

Flick says GLOW SIGHT!

Opal says GLOW TOUCH!

Harvey says GLOW SMELL!

Flick says LET'S GET TO WORK.

[SNIFFING]

Harvey says HEY, I FOUND SOMETHING!

Opal says ME TOO!

Flick says HMM!
IT'S A...

[SHUTTER SNAP]

They all say TRAIL!

Harvey says LET'S FOLLOW IT!

Flick says SEE WHERE IT GOES!

Opal says OH! WE MIGHT JUST GET
THE SCOOP AFTER ALL!

Harvey says WAIT!
WHAT IF IT'S A TRAP?
SUPER VILLAINS ARE
ALWAYS SETTING TRAPS.

Opal says WE HAVE TO INVESTIGATE IT,
HARVEY.
IT'S OUR
ONLY STORY LEAD!
COME ON.

Flick says HMM.
THE TRAIL ENDS HERE.

Opal says ACCORDING TO MY CALCULATIONS,
THIS COULD BE A LOGICAL SPOT FOR
THE DAYWEAVER TO STRIKE NEXT.

Harvey says EXCELLENT WORK, SHUTTERBUGS!
ME, IN PARTICULAR.

Flick says NOW I GUESS WE JUST WAIT FOR THE
MYSTERIOUS DAYWEAVER TO WEAVE
ITS WEB SO WE CAN GET THE SCOOP!

Harvey says OOOH! I LOVE A GOOD STAKE-OUT!
I KEEP EMERGENCY MARSHMALLOWS
FOR SITUATIONS JUST LIKE THIS.
WANT SOME?

Flick says UMMM!

Opal says NOPE!

Harvey says MORE FOR ME!

As they wait, Harvey eats the marshmallows.

Flick says WE'VE BEEN
WAITING FOREVER!
OPAL, ARE YOU SURE
THIS IS THE SPOT?
I MEAN, MAYBE THE
TRAIL WAS WRONG.
MAYBE YOUR CALCULATIONS
WERE WRONG.

Opal says THEY MOST CERTAINLY
WERE NOT WRONG.
I AM ALWAYS RIGHT,
UNLIKE SOME BUGS I KNOW.

Harvey says HEY!
WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN!

Flick says YOU'RE NOT ALWAYS RIGHT!

[SCOFFS]

Opal says BUT I AM THE SMARTEST!

Harvey says I'M PRETTY SURE
I'M THE SMARTEST.

Opal says WHY ARE WE EVEN
ARGUING RIGHT NOW!

Flick says DETECTIVE DEBBIE SAID SHE GETS
REALLY CRANKY WHEN SHE'S TIRED.
DO YOU THINK
WE'RE JUST...

[YAWN]
[YAWN]

Opal says TIRED? PROBABLY.
WE COULD HAVE A LITTLE NAP,
JUST UNTIL THE SUN COMES UP.

[GULPS]

Harvey says THAT'S A REALLY GOOD IDEA.
I LIKE NAPS A LOT.

[SNORES]
[YAWN]

Opal says I'LL SET...
THE... ALARM.

They all fall asleep.

[FUNNY SNORES]

Harvey says AAAAH!
AAAAH!
AAAAH!

[GRUNTS]

They wake up wrapped in web.

Flick says HUH?
WHAT.. IS... HEY!
LET US OUT!
HELP!

Opal says OH NO... NO, NO.
WE SLEPT THROUGH THE WHOLE DAY!
AND THE DAYWEAVER
DID WEAVE HERE NEXT.

Harvey says NOW WE'RE WRAPPED UP, LIKE
THAT FUNNY PAIR OF UNDERPANTS.

Flick says I CAN'T BELIEVE WE MISSED OUR
ONLY CHANCE TO GET THE SCOOP.
BY NOW, THE DAYWEAVER
IS PROBABLY... [GASP]

Harvey says ...RIGHT BEHIND US?

Opal says SHE'S SO...

Harvey says SPEEDY!

The spider says SUN IS SETTING!
HAVE TO WORK FASTER!
FASTER!
HAVE TO WORK FASTER!

Opal says LET US OUT
HEY! OF HERE!

Flick says HEY!

Harvey says HELLO!
SPIDER!

Flick says UH, HI!
I'M FLICK.
THIS IS HARVEY AND OPAL.

Opal says WE'RE REPORTERS
FOR THE MURKY MUSE.

Harvey says HEY -
HOW ABOUT LETTING US OUT OF THIS
STICKY SUPER VILLAIN TRAP!

The spider releases them and says OH! OH MY
GOODNESS!
YES, YES OF
COURSE!
SO SORRY
ABOUT THAT.
I DIDN'T MEAN TO
WRAP YOU UP...
IT'S JUST...
I HAVE TO WORK SO FAST.
BIRDS EVERYWHERE. YOU KNOW!

Opal says ACTUALLY, US NIGHT-WEAVERS
DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT
BIRDS AS MUCH AS YOU
DAY-WEAVERS DO.
WE JUST HAVE TO
WORRY ABOUT BATS.
AND FROGS.
AND LIZARDS.
AND...

Flick says BUT THAT'S STILL NO EXCUSE FOR
STEALING OTHER BUGS' THINGS.

The spider says STEALING?
WHO'S STEALING?

They all point at the web full of clothes and say YOU ARE!

[GASPS]

The spider says OH NO!

Opal says OH YES!
AND THIS ISN'T THE FIRST
TIME IT'S HAPPENED, EITHER.

Flick says EVERY NIGHT THIS WEEK, THE
TOWNSBUGS HAVE WOKEN UP TO
FIND THEIR STUFF
IS MISSING.

Harvey says EVEN THEIR
UNDERPANTS!

Opal says AND THEN IT ALL TURNS
UP IN YOUR WEBS.

The spider says I JUST- I HAVE TO
WORK SO FAST, YOU SEE.
I MUST BE ACCIDENTALLY WRAPPING
UP WHATEVER IS LYING AROUND!
I'M SORRY.
SO SORRY.
I'LL RETURN
EVERYTHING !
I'M NOT A THIEF,
I PROMISE!

Opal says I BELIEVE HER,
GUYS.
DAY WEAVERS DO HAVE TO
WORK FAST TO KEEP FROM
GETTING EATEN BY
PREDATORS.

Flick says I BELIEVE HER TOO.

Harvey says I BELIEVE...
SHE'S A SUPER
VILLAIN.
BUT...
A VERY NICE ONE.

The spider hugs them and says OH THANK YOU, THANK
YOU, THANK YOU!

Flick says BUT, YOU HAVE TO PROMISE
TO SLOW DOWN AND BE MORE
CAREFUL WHEN YOU
WEAVE.

Opal says AND WE HAVE TO RETURN ALL
THIS STUFF TO THE TOWNBUGS.

The spider says YOU GOT IT.

The bugs return the stolen stuff.

[SHUTTER SNAP]

Later that day, Flick finishes the news report and says DONE AND DONE!
HARVEY, RAISE THE ROOF?

Harvey hits his watch and everyone says IT'S GLOW TIME!
IT'S GLOW TIME!

Golden dust comes out of the tower and forms a screen in the sky.

The glow-worms sing HERE'S THE LATEST BUZZ!
THEY WERE STUCK IN A MESS,
THEY HAD TO TAKE ACTION.
SHINE A LIGHT
ON THE SITUATION.
HOLD THE PRESSES.
TAKE A BREATH NOW.
WHO, WHAT, WHERE,
WHEN, WHY, AND HOW.
AND THEY LOOKED ALL AROUND
AND THEY FOUND THE ANSWER...
BY USING THEIR 5 SENSES.
THEY GOT THE SCOOP.
SCOOP!
THEY GOT THE SCOOP.
SCOOP!
THIS JUST IN...
THEY BROKE THE STORY!
THEY GOT THE SCOOP.
SCOOP!
THEY GOT THE SCOOP.
SCOOP, SCOOP!
THIS JUST IN...
AND THAT'S THE NEWS!

At the office, Gordon says GREAT STORY,
SHUTTERBUGS!
YOU FOUND THE THIEF
AND SAVED THE DAY.
AND I MUST SAY, ALTHOUGH WE KNOW
THIS DAYWEAVER ISN'T A THIEF
AFTER ALL, I'M VERY HAPPY TO
HEAR THAT SHE IS MOVING ON TO
ANOTHER MARSH, WITH FEWER BIRDS.
AN EXCELLENT OUTCOME,
DON'T YOU AGREE SHUTTERBUGS?
HUM?
SHUTTERBUGS?

The Shutterbugs sleep on a corner of the office.

[FUNNY SNORES]

Gordon chuckles.

(music plays)

The episode ends.

Flick flies through the night sky and says IT'S TIME TO LIGHT THINGS UP.

Now a shot of the forest city features the episode title that reads "The sky is actually falling."

(ring)

Flick hits his watch and Gordon says FLICK, YOU THERE?
THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG
WITH THE NIGHT SKY!

Flick says BE THERE IN A FLASH, BOSS!

Flick flies to the Murky Muse offices.

Flick walks into the office with Harvey and Opal.

Flick says HEY GUYS, GOOD TIMING!
BUT UH, WHERE'S GORDON?

Harvey says BOSS!

Opal says ANYONE HOME?

Gordon pops out of a painting and says SHUTTERBUGS!
THANK THE STARS YOU'RE HERE.
BECAUSE I THINK THEY'RE
SHOOTING FROM THE SKY!

Flick says SHOOTING STARS?

Gordon says I'VE NEVER SEEN
ANYTHING LIKE IT.

Harvey says SHHH,
THIS IS A GOOD PART!

Gordon says OH HARVEY!
DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS?
THE STARS
ARE FALLING!

Harvey says MOVIE OR
ROCK STARS?
EITHER WAY, THEY SOUND
PRETTY CLUMSY IF YOU ASK ME.

Flick says DON'T SWEAT IT,
BOSS.
WE'LL GET THE SCOOP AND SHED
SOME LIGHT ON THE STORY.

The three glow worms say I THINK...
WE CAN HELP.
WE CAN HELP.

They sing WHEN YOU'RE IN THE DARK
OR LOST IN THE PARK
UH OH, WHAT?
DO YOU HEAR THAT FLY?
OH, WHAT'S THAT IN THE SKY?
ASK YOURSELF:
WHO, WHAT, WHERE,
WHEN, WHY, AND HOW.
IT'S TIME
WE SHED SOME LIGHT!
LIGHT! REAL BRIGHT!
LET'S MAKE IT
ALL SHINE - ALL RIGHT!
IT'S TIME
WE SHED SOME LIGHT!
EVERYTHING
WILL BE ALL RIGHT!
SHED SOME LIGHT!

[SHUTTER SNAP]

Flick says OKAY SHUTTERBUGS!
LET'S BREAK THIS STORY DOWN.
WHO?

Harvey holds a book and says HORSEMUFFINS!
UH AH, SORRY!
WHAT?

Opal says STRANGE STREAKS OF LIGHT.
WHERE?

Flick says IN THE NIGHT SKY!
WHEN?

Harvey says IT'S HAPPENING RIGHT NOW?
WHY?

Opal says THAT'S WHAT WE NEED TO FIND OUT!
BUT HOW?

Flick says IT'S A NICE CLEAR NIGHT.
WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO
GET A GOOD VIEW OF...
UH, HEY BUDDY,
WHAT'S WITH THE BOOK?

Harvey says I HAVE TO REVIEW IT BY TOMORROW
BUT IT'S TAKING ME FOREVER!

Opal says WHAT'S IT ABOUT?

Harvey says WELL, IT STARTS WITH THESE
TWO GUYS, TICK AND LITTLE!
AND SEE, THEY THINK
THE SKY IS FALLING.

Flick says THAT SOUNDS JUST LIKE OUR STORY!
SO, WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Harvey says NO IDEA.
I'M STILL ON PAGE 1.
IT'S REALLY
TRICKY READING!

Flick flips the book.

Harvey says OOOH! WAY BETTER.

Opal says MIND IF I TAKE A LOOK?

Harvey says DO YOU REALLY THINK, STARS COULD
FALL OUT OF THE SKY, FLICK?

Flick grabs his tablet and says WELL, WHY DON'T WE LOOK
AT THE FACTS FIRST.
STARS ARE REALLY JUST FAR AWAY
SUNS, A LOT LIKE OUR OWN SUN.

Harvey says BUT HOW?
THEY'RE SO
TEENY-WEENY.

Flick says THAT'S JUST BECAUSE
THEY'RE REALLY FAR AWAY.
HERE, LOOK.

Flick zooms out the sun in a starry sky.

Harvey says SO, HOW CAN
SOMETHING THAT BIG
AND THAT FAR AWAY FALL
NEAR THE MARSH?

Flick says THAT'S JUST IT,
HARVEY.
I THINK IT MIGHT BE SOMETHING
ELSE THAT'S FALLING.

Opal says FINISHED!
SO, IN THE STORY, TICK AND
LITTLE GET EVERYONE IN TOWN
UPSET BECAUSE THEY THINK
THE SKY IS FALLING.
THAT PART'S SO SILLY!
THE SKY CAN'T FALL,
IT'S JUST ATMOSPHERE.

Harvey says ATMOSPHERE?
THAT SOUNDS EVEN WORSE!

Opal says ATMOSPHERE IS ANOTHER
WORD FOR AIR, HARVEY.
YOU BREATHE IT EVERY DAY.

Harvey says OKAY SURE BUT, WHAT'S
BEYOND THE ATMOSPHERE?
DO WE EVEN KNOW?
WHAT..? WHAT IF IT'S...... SPACE SHARKS
FALLING FROM THE SKY?
OR, WHAT IF IT'S EVEN WORSE!

Boris, a bee with a white moustache, overhears their conversation.

Opal says WORSE THAN SPACE SHARKS?

Harvey says WHAT IF THEY'RE GIANT,
FLAMING SPACE MARSHMALLOWS!
ACTUALLY THAT WOULDN'T BE
SO BAD IF THEY WERE
TOASTED MARSHMALLOWS.
BUT THEN THEY'D BE
[GASPS]
ON FIRE!
THAT'S NOT
GOOD!

Floyd, a red-headed fly, overhears their conversation and panics.

Opal says EASY, BIG FELLA!
COUNT YOUR
HORSE FLIES.

Harvey says ONE HORSE FLY, TWO HORSE
FLIES, THREE HORSE FLIES...

Flick says THERE HAS TO BE AN EXPLANATION
FOR THIS FLAMING MYSTERY.

[WAILING SIREN]

Detective Debbie pops out of a hydrant.

They all say DETECTIVE DEBBIE!

Debbie says SORRY IT TOOK ME SO LONG
TO GET HERE, SHUTTERBUGS.
RUMORS OF FLAMING, SPACE
MARSHMALLOWS ARE IGNITING
ALL OVER TOWN!

Harvey says TOLD YA!

Debbie says HEH, I DON'T THINK IT'S
TRUE, HARVEY MY MAN,
BUT THERE'S DEFINITELY SOMETHING
LIGHTING UP THE NIGHT SKY.

Flick says YOU MEAN, SOMETHING'S ACTUALLY
BURNING UP IN THE ATMOSPHERE?

Debbie says NO IDEA!
BUT I DO KNOW THAT
THERE'S A LOT MORE UP THERE
THAN WHAT WE CAN SEE.
THINGS FROM OUTER SPACE!
[A MUFFLED CALL COMES IN OVER
DEBBIE'S WALKIE TALKIE]
ROGER THAT.
SORRY SHUTTERBUGS,
GOTTA JET.
GOOD LUCK TOASTING
UP THAT STORY.
DEBS OUT!

Debbie goes back in the hydrant.

Opal says SO, THESE STREAKS IN THE NIGHT
SKY MIGHT BE THINGS FALLING
FROM OUTER SPACE?

Harvey says FIRST IT'S STARS, THEN
IT'S MARSHMALLOWS,
NOW WE HAVE TO WATCH
OUT FOR ALIENS?
I'M OUT OF HERE!

Flick says I PROMISE YOU
IT'S NOT ALIENS,
OR BURNING SPACE
MARSHMALLOWS, HARVEY.
IT HAS TO BE...

Boris says SPACE SHARKS!

The bugs in town fly and run away with luggage.

A bug says FLY FOR YOUR LIVES!

Opal says HEY,
CALM DOWN.
YOU'RE GOING
TO CAUSE...

Harvey says MASS PANIC?

[SCREAMING]
[SHUTTER SNAP]
[SCREAMING CONTINUES]

Opal says THIS IS BAD.
IF WE CAN'T FIGURE
THIS STORY OUT,
THE ENTIRE TOWN IS
GOING TO BE TRASHED!

Flick says WE NEED TO GET A
BETTER ANGLE ON THINGS.
AND I KNOW
JUST THE PLACE.
COME ON!

[SCREAMING]
[SHUTTER SNAP]

Flick takes pictures.

Flick says WHAT'S GOING ON,
FLOYD?

Floyd says SPACE MARSHMALLOWS!
WAY I SEE IT, THERE'S
NO WAY TO OUTRUN THEM,
SO I MIGHT AS WELL MAKE
A LAST MEAL OUT OF IT.
OOH! THERE'S ONE NOW!

[GASPS]

Harvey says IT BURNED OUT BEFORE
IT HIT THE MARSH.
WE'RE SAVED, EVERYONE!
WE'RE SAVED!
FLAMING, SPACE MARSHMALLOWS
WON'T HIT THE MARSH AFTER ALL!

Floyd says WELL, THAT FIGURES.

Harvey says AND IF IT'S A STAR, WELL, IT
WON'T CRUSH US INTO TINY BITS!

The bugs stop screaming.

[CHEERING]

Harvey says WAIT, WAIT!
BUT WHAT IF ALL
THE STARS BURN OUT?
THERE WILL BE NOTHING
LEFT TO LIGHT UP THE SKY.
WE'LL BE LEFT IN THE DARK!

[SILENCE]

The bugs go back to screaming.

Harvey says GOOD IDEA.

[SCREAMS]

Harvey flies around in circles.

Flick says THERE'S NO NEED TO PANIC.
STARS DON'T FALL FROM THE SKY,
AND THEY COULD NEVER ALL BURN
OUT AT ONCE, THERE
ARE TOO MANY OF THEM!

Opal says HE'S RIGHT,
YOU KNOW.
LIKE MY MOM USED TO SAY,
'HOW MANY STARS IN THE SKY?
TRY AND COUNT THAT HIGH!'

Harvey says ONE, TWO, THREE...
AH, DID I ALREADY
COUNT THAT ONE?
ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR...
[GASPS]
FLICK'S RIGHT!
THERE ARE TOO MANY!

Opal says EXACTLY, THERE'S NO WAY
THEY COULD ALL BURN OUT.
WE JUST NEED TO MAKE
SENSE OF THINGS...

Flick says ... BY USING
OUR SENSES!

The three glow-worms sing OOOH, WE CAN HELP WITH THAT.
TELL ME 'BOUT THE SENSES.
SEEING.
HEARING.
TELL ME MORE, TELL ME MORE.
SMELLING.
TASTING.
THERE'S ONE MORE
SENSE YOU KNOW.
OH YEAH, TOUCHING!
ALL FIVE SENSES.
NOW IT'S MAKING SENSE.
LA LA LA LA, LA LA LA LA.
YOU GOTTA USE
ALL YOUR SENSES.
OH YEAH!
LA LA LA LA, LA LA LA LA.
IT'S REALLY,
REALLY,
REALLY...
MAKING SENSE!

The Shutterbugs hit their watches and goggles appear on their faces.

Flick says SPACE IS TOO FAR AWAY TO
TOUCH, TASTE, SMELL...

Opal says OR HEAR!

Flick says SO, WE HAVE TO USE OUR EYES,
BUT EVEN OUR GLO-GOGGLES
AREN'T STRONG ENOUGH
TO SEE THAT FAR AWAY.

Harvey says AH! THERE'S ONE COMING
STRAIGHT FOR US!

Opal says JUST A
SMUDGE.

Harvey says OH! PHEW!
BUT, I STILL
CAN'T SEE MUCH.

Flick says THAT'S WHY TELESCOPES
ARE SO COOL!
[SHUTTER SNAP]
THEY MAKE EVEN THE FURTHEST
THINGS LOOK CLOSE.
CHECK OUT THE MOON!

Harvey looks through a telescope and says WHOA.
AH! LOOKOUT!
THERE'S A SPACE ROCK HEADED
STRAIGHT FOR MY EYEBALL!

Flick says IT'S OKAY, HARVEY.
IT JUST LOOKS CLOSER
BECAUSE OF THE TELESCOPE.

Opal says LET ME SEE.
HEY, IT'S A METEOR -
JUST A SIMPLE SPACE ROCK.
OH! IT'S GLOWING LIKE A STAR!

Flick says IT'S CATCHING ON FIRE RIGHT
WHERE THE SKY CHANGES COLOUR,
WHERE OUR
ATMOSPHERE BEGINS.
THEY'RE GOING SO FAST, THAT
WHEN THEY HIT OUR ATMOSPHERE,
IT REALLY SLOWS THEM DOWN - LIKE
JAMMING ON CRAZY, FIRE BRAKES!
THIS IS SO COOL!

Harvey says THAT IS KIND
OF COOL.
BUT UH, WHERE
WILL IT LAND?

Opal says IT'S GONE.
IT COMPLETELY BURNED UP.

Flick says JUST LIKE THE ONE
WE SAW EARLIER.
THEY'RE TOO SMALL
TO DO ANY HARM.

Harvey says SO, IT'S NOTHING TO
WORRY ABOUT AT ALL!
HORSEMUFFINS!
THIS IS COOLEST
THING I'VE EVER SEEN!
LET'S SEE IF WE CAN
SPOT ANOTHER ONE!

Later that day, Flick finishes the news report and says DONE AND DONE.
HARVEY,
RAISE THE ROOF!

Harvey hits his watch and everyone says IT'S GLOW TIME!

Golden dust comes out of the tower and forms a screen in the sky.

The glow-worms appear on the screen and sing HERE'S THE LATEST BUZZ!
THEY WERE STUCK IN A MESS,
THEY HAD TO TAKE ACTION.
SHINE A LIGHT
ON THE SITUATION.
HOLD THE PRESSES.
TAKE A BREATH NOW.
WHO, WHAT, WHERE,
WHEN, WHY, AND HOW.
AND THEY LOOKED ALL AROUND
AND THEY FOUND THE ANSWER...
BY USING THEIR 5 SENSES.
THEY GOT THE SCOOP.
SCOOP!
THEY GOT THE SCOOP.
SCOOP!
THIS JUST IN...
THEY BROKE THE STORY!
THEY GOT THE SCOOP.
SCOOP!
THEY GOT THE SCOOP.
SCOOP, SCOOP!
THIS JUST IN...
AND THAT'S THE NEWS!

At the office, Gordon says GREAT STORY, SHUTTERBUGS!
WHAT A RELIEF TO KNOW
THE STARS AREN'T ACTUALLY
FALLING FROM THE SKY!

Flick says THAT'S RIGHT!
IT WAS JUST FAST
TRAVELING SPACE ROCKS,
BURNING UP WHEN THEY
HIT OUR ATMOSPHERE.

Opal says SO COOL TO SEE!
NEXT TIME, WE'LL HAVE TO BRING
ALONG A FEW MARSHMALLOWS TO
TOAST WHILE WE'RE
WATCHING, RIGHT HARVEY?

Harvey says PARDON?
OH, RIGHT.
AND NEXT TIME, WE'LL BE
LESS WORRIED ABOUT ALL THAT
'SKY IS FALLING' STUFF.
AT LEAST NOW I'VE GOT A FUNNY
STORY TO START MY REVIEW
OF TICK
AND LITTLE WITH.
BUT SPACE-MARSHMALLOWS
WOULD HAVE BEEN TASTY!
