People walk past Hugo. He giggles.

She kisses him on the head and leaves.

BE TALLER, HUGO!

Felix says YES, AND SO WE CAN

A white tower pops out of the floor elevating Hugo up to the sky.

Lily says WE GROW UP SO WE CAN

CAN DO.

Hugo catches a piece of a cloud and wears it as a beard.

Hugo says LIKE GROW A BEARD!

Felix says WE GROW UP SO WE CAN

WE'RE LITTLE.

Lily says LIKE LIVE OUR OWN
LIVES.

Mum and dad appear on their own towers.

Hugo says BYE, MUM.

Hugo keeps going up.

[plane engines roar]

A plane flies past Hugo.

Hugo reaches outer space. A spacecraft stops in front of him.

A boy plays with a robot toy. Then, at a lab, he makes a gear for a big robot.

[robot powers up]

A boy with puffy blue hair plays with a plane toy in a tree house. Later, he pilots a real plane.

Hugo's family pictures create a big question mark on the floor. He stands looking at it.

UP, NO ONE WILL COME NEXT.

[camera shutter clicks]

Hugo and the Space Girl pose for a photograph.

Granny says SMILE, PLEASE.

Space Girl says I LIKED YOU
BETTER WITH THE BEARD.

FOR LOTS OF REASONS.

Granny says WOULD YOU LIKE TO DO

[GASP]
[GIGGLING]
Hugo rushes to get behind the camera.

Granny says IF WE MOVE ON, WE MAKE ROOM FOR
NEW PEOPLE TO TRY THE THINGS WE

Hugo says SAY CHEESE!

[CAMERA SHUTTER CLICKS]
Hugo takes a picture of her granny.

Lily says I THINK WE STOP

A huge screen appears showing people doing various activities.

In the back, Granny skates and says YEE-HAW!

TO OTHERS.

Two boy skate past Hugo.

Felix says THEN YOU'LL GROW EVEN
MORE.
[SHRIEK]

Granny says OW!
AND THAT IS HOW NOT TO
SKATEBOARD!

Hugo giggles and says I THINK EVERYTHING WE
DO TEACHES US SOMETHING, EVEN

Granny says I'M NOT DOING
