In animation, Hugo, a boy with orange hair and orange clothes, rests on a white cube.

A girl's voice says HELLO, HUGO.

Hugo says WHO ME?
WHAT DO YOU KNOW?
LET'S SEE

(music plays)

A caption reads "A Planet Nemo Animation and Skyline Entertainment production."

Hugo starts singing a song that says I KNOW THERE'S A LOT
I DON'T KNOW
I LIKE QUESTIONS
THAT LEAD TO
QUESTIONS
ASK AWAY
LET'S SEE WHERE
WE GO
OKAY...

He starts jumping on book piles and giant letters that pop up from the floor.

The song continues
WHAT IS WORK?
WHAT IS PLAY?
WHY DO WALLS GET
IN THE WAY?

He now watches factory workers manufacturing toy robots.

The song continues WHERE IS LOVE?
WHAT'S A FRIEND?
WILL MY QUESTIONS
NEVER END?
WHAT IS FEAR?

Two dragons perched on a castle tower roar.

The song continues WHY DO WE LAUGH?
WHY DO I HATE TO
GET WET
BUT NEVER IN
THE BATH?
WHY IS THIS
NOT THAT?
WHY IS THAT
NOT THIS?
WHO? WHERE?
WHEN? HOW?
WHAT'S THE BIG IDEA?

He puts up a big question mark next to the title of the show: What's The Big Idea?"

The bottom of the question mark lights up.

Hugo says YES!
WHAT'S THE BIG IDEA?

The name of the episode appears. It reads "Dreams. Written by Steven Middleton."

Felix says HELLO, HUGO.

Lily says HELLO, HUGO.

Hugo says HELLO, LILY.
HELLO, FELIX.

A sleeping cheetah flies past Hugo.

Hugo says WHAT ARE DREAMS?

Lily says DREAMS ARE LIKE
STORIES.

Hugo says OH, LIKE LAST NIGHT I
DREAMT I COULD FLY.
[whooshing sounds]
Hugo flies chasing a Chinese dragon.

Lily says I ONCE DREAMED I COULD
RUN REALLY FAST, FASTER THAN A
CHEETAH.

Hugo says FASTER THAN A CHEETAH?

Hugo lands on the floor next to the sleeping cheetah.

[friendly growling]
The cheetah wakes, yawns and runs off. Hugo and the cheetah run a race.

[speedy music plays]
Hugo says YES!
I WIN!
[laughing]

The cheetah goes back to sleep.

[sighing]
Hugo yawns and says BUT SOMETIMES I HAVE A BAD
DREAM.

Lily says ME TOO.
SOMETIMES YOU DREAM OF
MONSTERS.

[scary music plays]

Hugo wakes up in his bedroom.
[door creaks open]

Mum appears.

Hugo says BUT THEN MY CUDDLES ME
AND SAYS...

Mum says IT'S OKAY.
IT'S JUST A DREAM.

Hugo says SO DO WE ONLY DREAM
WHEN WE'RE ASLEEP?

A Teacher stands in a classroom. She stares at Oscar who looks sleepy.

The Teacher says HMM, MMM?

Lily says HE'S AWAKE BUT HE'S
STILL DREAMING.

Oscar says AHHH!

In his dream, Oscar scores a goal and says I AM INCREDIBLE!

Back in the classroom, he says THE CROWD GOES WILD!!
HUH?

[classmates giggle]

[horns honking]
A woman daydreams in a traffic jam.

Felix says SHE'S DAYDREAMING
TOO.
SHE'S DAYDREAMING THAT SHE'S
AN ASTRONAUT.
[giggles]

[whirring]
[horns beep, drivers shout]

Drivers say HEY, MOVE IT!
HEY, YOU, GET OUT OF THE WAY!
MOVE IT!

[tires screech]

She wakes up and drives off. The traffic lights change to red.

A Driver says OHHH!

Hugo says SOMETIMES WHEN I
DAYDREAM I FORGET WHERE I AM
AND WHAT I'M SUPPOSED TO BE
DOING.

Wearing armour, Hugo bounces on soft towers.

Hugo says HUH, WHUP!
I LOVE BOUNCY LAND!
WHOAA!

Mum says HUGO, ARE YOU TIDYING
YOUR ROOM?

Now, Hugo appears on his bed and says HUH?

Felix says NICE BOUNCING, HUGO.

Lily says YOU MUST REALLY HAVE
BELIEVED THAT YOU WERE IN
BOUNCY LAND.

Hugo says SO, ARE MY DREAMS EVER
REAL?

Felix says THAT DEPENDS ON WHAT
YOU MEAN BY REAL, HUGO.

Hugo looks at a magical transparent ball floating in the air.

Hugo says I KNOW I'M REAL
BECAUSE I CAN PINCH MYSELF.
OW!
BUT I CAN'T TOUCH MY DREAMS.

Lily says BUT YOU CAN SEE THEM.
SO AREN'T THEY REAL?

Hugo chases the ball but cannot touch it.

Hugo says MY EYES ARE ALWAYS
CLOSED WHEN I DREAM.

Felix says BUT NOT ALWAYS WHEN
WE DAYDREAM.

Oscar appears in the ball. He kicks a soccer ball.
Oscar says HUH-UH, UGH!

[whooshing sound]
The woman in space keeps the ball out of the goal and Hugo catches in Bouncy land.

Hugo says I KNOW FOR REAL THAT
I DREAM.

Felix says AND OUR DREAMS SEEM
REAL WHEN WE DREAM THEM.

Lily says SO MAYBE THERE'S A
PART OF OUR DREAMS THAT IS
REAL.

Hugo says BUT IF DREAMS CAN FEEL
SO REAL, HOW DO I KNOW I'M NOT
DREAMING RIGHT NOW?
WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Music plays as the end credits roll.
