One red block with eyes has the number one over it. Beside it runs Two, a stack of two orange blocks; Three, a stack of three yellow blocks; Four, a square made of four green blocks; and Five, a stack of five blue blocks.

Voices sing,
ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, FIVE,
NUMBERBLOCKS

Six, two columns of three blocks, jumps into the air. Seven, a stack of seven different coloured blocks; Eight, two columns of four blocks; Nine, three columns of three blocks; and Ten, a stack of ten white blocks outlined in red; jump into the air.

Voices sing,
SIX, SEVEN, EIGHT, NINE, TEN,
NUMBERBLOCKS

ONE AND ANOTHER ONE IS TWO
AND ANOTHER ONE IS ME
THAT'S THREE
FIVE, FOUR, THREE, TWO, ONE,
TIME FOR SOME NUMBER FUN

YOU CAN COUNT ON US,
WE'RE THE NUMBERBLOCKS

Ten and Eighteen race over green hills. Ten wears a red helmet and has fins. Eighteen speeds over the surface using rocket boosters.

Ten says, HERE I COME!

Ten flies past Eighteen.

Eighteen states,
I NEED MORE SPEED!
SWITCH!

Eighteen changes from two columns of nine to three columns of six. Eighteen separated into six Threes.

THREE RAYS AND AWAY!

The six Threes cruise past Ten.

(Cheering)

Ten says, AH-HAH!

The Threes fly over a farm. They crash into a scarecrow wearing a flannel shirt and straw sun hat. Dust settles. The Threes continue to race. A wooden cross lands in the field.

(Crashing)

One of the Threes says, THREE!

Two Threes join to make Six.

Six says, SIX!

A Three attaches to the Six to make Nine.

Nine says, NINE!

A Three attaches to the Nine to make Twelve.

Twelve says, TWELVE!

A Three joins the Twelve to make Fifteen.

Fifteen says, FIFTEEN!

The last Three joins Fifteen to make Eighteen.

Eighteen shouts, EIGHTEEN!

Eighteen walks across the field to the scarecrow?s cross. Hay falls from the sky and lands in a pile in front of Eighteen.

Eighteen says,
HUH?
OOPSIE.

The scarecrow?s straw hat gently floats down. It lands on top of Eighteen.

(Sighing)

Ten lands beside Eighteen.

Ten says,
YOU KNOW, I'M SURE THERE WAS
AN OLD SCARECROW HERE.

Eighteen replies,
SCARECROW!
NO, CAN'T SEE ANY OLD SCARECROW.
JUST THIS...

Eighteen paints the wooden cross white.

Eighteen says,
GREAT BIG PLUS SIGN!
HEY, WE CAN USE IT TO PRACTICE
ADDING UP REALLY FAST!

Eighteen separates into six Threes.

One of the Threes says, THREE!

Two Threes join to make Six.

Six says, SIX!

A Three attaches to the Six to make Nine.

Nine Says, NINE!

A Three attaches to the Nine to make Twelve.

Twelve says, TWELVE!

A Three joins the Twelve to make Fifteen.

Fifteen says, FIFTEEN!

The last Three joins Fifteen to make Eighteen.

Eighteen shouts, EIGHTEEN!

Ten responds,
I LOVE THAT TRICK, COULD YOU
SLOW IT DOWN SO I CAN SEE HOW
IT'S DONE?

Eighteen replies,
WELL...
JUST THIS ONCE!

Eighteen speeds over the farmer?s field.

Eighteen says, ON YOUR MARKS!

Eighteen separates into six Threes.

They add,
THREE PLUS THREE PLUS
THREE PLUS THREE PLUS THREE PLUS
THREE EQUALS...

One of the Threes says, THREE!

Two Three join to make Six.

Six says, SIX!

A Three attaches to the Six to make Nine.

Nine Says, NINE!

A Three attaches to the Nine to make Twelve.

Twelve says, TWELVE!

A Three joins the Twelve to make Fifteen.

Fifteen says, FIFTEEN!

The last Three joins Fifteen to make Eighteen.

Eighteen shouts,

SLOW ENOUGH FOR YOU?
I'M JUST ADDING THREE LOTS OF
TIMES.
THE TRICK IS TO KNOW HOW MANY
TIMES.

(Muttering)

Ten changes from 2 columns of two blocks to three columns, two with four blocks and one with two. Ten changes to four columns, three columns of three, and one column of one.

Sixteen approaches Ten and Eighteen on the field.

Sixteen says,
ALL RIGHT, MY FRIENDS.
I'VE COME TO PLANT SOME SQUARE
POTATOES.
IMAGINE THE SHAPES!
OH!
HEY, WHERE'S THE OLD SCARECROW
GONE?

Eighteen asks,
SO, TEN, READY YET?

Ten replies,
I CAN'T MAKE A RECTANGLE WITH
THREES, BUT I CAN WITH TWOS.

Ten separates into five Twos.

Eighteen responds,
ON YOUR MARKS, GET SET, GO!

The Twos add,
TWO PLUS TWO PLUS TWO...

Eighteen interrupts,
COME ON, COME ON, COME ON!

The Twos continue,
PLUS TWO PLUS TWO
EQUALS...

One of the Twos says, TWO!

Two Twos combine to make Four.

The Four says, FOUR!

The Four and a Two combine to make Six.

The Six says, SIX!

The Six and another Two join to make Eight.

Eight says, EIGHT!

The final Two attaches to the Eight to make Ten.

Ten says, TEN!
I ADDED FIVE LOTS OF TWO, AND I

Eighteen replies,
PHEW, WE GOT THERE IN THE
END.

Sixteen asks,

The Twos count slowly,

(Groaning)

Eighteen complains,

DAY!

The Twos join together to make Sixteen

Sixteen says,
I'M SORRY, EIGHTEEN, BUT YOU MADE
ME LOSE COUNT.
NOT TO WORRY, I'LL START ALL
OVER AGAIN.

Sixteen turns into eight Twos.

The Twos add,
TWO.
PLUS TWO.
PLUS TWO.

(Groaning)

The Twos continue,
PLUS TWO.
PLUS TWO.
PLUS TWO.
PLUS TWO.
PLUS TWO.

(Groaning)

Eighteen asks,
HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU HAVE TO
SAY "TWO?"
HOW MANY TIMES?!

Eighteen looks down at the wooden plus sign. It leans on its side.

(Gasping)

Eighteen continues,
IT'S A SIGN!
A SIGN THAT WE NEED A NEW SIGN!
A FASTER SIGN!
WE DON'T NEED ALL THESE!
SQUASH!
WE CAN ADD A NUMBER LOTS OF
TIMES MUCH FASTER WITH JUST ONE
OF THESE!
I'LL CALL IT "THE TIMES SIGN!"
I CAN USE IT TO ADD SOMETHING
LOTS OF TIMES!
SUPER QUICKLY!
SO, HOW MANY TWOS ARE WE ADDING?

The Twos count,
ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR,

Eighteen says,
AND REMIND ME?
WHAT ARE WE ADDING AGAIN?

The Twos shout, TWOS!

Eighteen says,

The Twos multiply,

The Twos join together to make Sixteen.

Sixteen responds, SIXTEEN!

Ten turns into five Twos.

They say,
THERE ARE FIVE OF US.

The Twos join to make Ten.

Ten responds, TEN!

Eighteen replies, MY TURN!

Eighteen turns into six Threes.

They say,

The Threes turn into Eighteen.

Eighteen shouts,

HOW REFRESHINGLY FAST!
THIS MAKES UP FOR BREAKING SOME
SILLY OLD SCARECROW-- WHOOPS!

(Cawing)

Crows swoop down onto the field. Eighteen runs away from Sixteen and Ten.

Sixteen and Ten say,
EIGHTEEN!

Eighteen?s blocks take the shape of a scarecrow. The straw hat sits on the top of Eighteen.

Eighteen says,
EIGHTEEN, NO!
I CAN'T SEE ANY EIGHTEEN.
JUST THIS GOOD OLD SCARECROW.

(Laughing)
