One red block with eyes has the number one over it. Beside it runs Two’ a stack of two orange blocks; Three, a stack of three yellow blocks; Four, a square made of four green blocks; and Five, a stack of five blue blocks.
Voices sing, ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, FIVE,
NUMBERBLOCKS
Six, two columns of three blocks, jumps into the air. Seven, a stack of seven different coloured blocks; Eight, two columns of four blocks; Nine, three columns of three blocks; and Ten, a stack of ten white blocks outlined in red; jump into the air.
Voices sing, SIX, SEVEN, EIGHT, NINE, TEN,
NUMBERBLOCKS
ONE AND ANOTHER ONE IS TWO
AND ANOTHER ONE IS ME
THAT'S THREE

[Dramatic music plays]
A die with six purple pips sits on top of a blue and white die. The top of the die opens, revealing Six, Seven, Eight, and Nine standing beside a large black and white box.
Six says, THANK YOU FOR COMING TO PLAY
MY BIG NEW GAME.
The numberblocks take the lid off the box.
[Grunting]
The lid attaches to a wall. It has two number zeros on it. The box falls open to reveal a game board with a single purple and orange die on it.
All say, HUH?
[Footsteps]
Six says, I'LL ROLL THE DICE TO START,
MY FRIENDS.
THIS GAME IS CALLED HOW MANY
TENS.
Six rolls the die.
[Slide whistle, drum rim shot]
Six says, SIX.
Six number Tens fly over a hill.
[Jet engine]
The numberblocks say, OOH!
An equation appears over the six tens. “Text reads six times ten equals sixty.”
The six Tens land and say, SIX TIMES
TEN EQUALS...
The tens combine to make a purple Sixty numberblock.
Sixty says, ...SIXTY.
[Relaxed music plays, chimes]
I AM SIXTY, HERE TO PLAY, WITH SIXTY
SPOTS. HIP-HIP-HOORAY!
The number blocks say, WOW.
Sixty rolls a die and rolls a sixty.
[Slide whistle]
Sixty says, SIXTY.
Sixty walks over to the scoreboard as the red zeros change to sixty.
Sixty says, SIX LOTS OF TEN IS A NEW
HIGH SCORE. I'M SIX TENS, OR...
Sixty breaks into ten sixes.
Ten sixes sing, TEN SIXES.
GAME ON!
Sixes roll a die. Seven watches a Six stack dice.
Sixes say, YEAH.
HEY-HEY.
Sixes skip rope. They tug a rope against Nine and Eight.
[Grunting]
Eight says, COME ON, NINE.
WE CAN PULL--
The sixes fall and Eight stumbles backwards.
[Giggling]
Nine says, WHOA!
UH-OH.
The orange and purple die that came with the game bounces off the edge of a platform.
[Gasps]
Six says, OH, NO.
THE SPECIAL GAME DICE.
Sixty says, I'M SURE YOU'LL SEE THAT
DICE AGAIN. THIS CALLS FOR ANOTHER TEN.
[Engine]
A Ten flies over the hill towards Sixty. Sixty breaks into six Tens as the extra Ten lands. An equation over the Tens reads “Seven times ten equals seventy.”
Seven Tens say, SEVEN TIMES TEN EQUALS...
The Tens combine to make Seventy.
Seventy says, ...70.
[Chimes]
Seventy says, I AM SEVENTY.
YOU LUCKY NUMBERS.
AS LUCK WOULD HAVE IT, I'M SEVEN
TENS, SO I'M ALSO...
Seventy divides into ten sevens. The Sevens create a rainbow over the stack of dice the numberblocks are playing on.
Ten Sevens shout ...TEN SEVENS.
THE RAINBOW CONNECTION.
[Gasps]
Seven says, I SEE IT.
IT'S WAY OVER THERE.
The die lies on a tree branch.
Eight says, BUT HOW CAN WE GET
IT BACK AGAIN?
Seventy says, LUCK IS IN THE AIR TONIGHT.
HERE COMES ANOTHER TEN.
[Exciting music plays]
A Ten flies over the hill.
Eight Tens say, EIGHT TIMES TEN EQUALS...
An equation appears over the Tens. It reads “Eight times ten equals eighty.” The numbers combine to make Eighty.
[Dramatic music plays]
Eighty says, ...EIGHTY.
I AM EIGHTY. SUPER OCTO-BLOCK
TO THE RESCUE.
[Gasps]
Eighty whispers, SECRETLY, I'M EIGHT TENS.
BUT THIS IS A JOB FOR...
Eighty divides into ten Eights.
The ten Eights say, ...TEN EIGHTS.
OCTO-BLOCKS, ASSEMBLE!
A Robot-shaped numberblock says,
ROB-OCTO-BLOCK, FORWARD.
The Rob-Octo-Block flies up into the air.
[Cheering]
Numberblocks say, WOW.
[Chuckling, skidding]
Rob-Octo-Block stops at a cliff’s edge, then jumps to the other side. Rob-Octo-Block breaks into Eights and reforms as a pink dinosaur-shaped numberblock.
The numberblock shouts, DIN-OCTO-BLOCKS, SMASH.
The Din-Octo-Block smacks the tree with its tail and the special die flies up into the air.
[Slide whistle]
The die lands by the numberblocks.
[Muttering, wowing]
Eight says, EIGHTY IS THE BIGGEST
HERO OF ALL.
Eighty says, OH, THERE'S ALWAYS SOMEONE
BIGGER. LOOK UP IN THE SKY. IT'S...
A Ten flies over the hill and lands beside Eighty.
[Engine]
The other numberblocks say, ANOTHER TEN.
An equation forms over nine Tens. It reads “Nine times ten equals ninety.”
Nine Tens say, NINE TIMES TEN EQUALS...
Ninety says, ...NINETY.
I AM NINETY.
[Chimes]
Ninety says, YOU WON'T BELIEVE YOUR EYES.
[Bell]
Nine runs to Ninety and looks at him.
Nine asks, ARE YOU A SQUARE OR NOT?
I CAN'T TELL.
[Laughing]
Ninety says, THIS GRID IS TEN BLOCKS
BY TEN BLOCKS. BUT I AM ONE COLUMN
SHORT. OR ONE ROW.
EITHER WAY, I'M NOT ALL SQUARE.
The numberblocks say, OH.
Ninety says, AND NOW, A VANISHING TRICK.
Ninety divides into ten Nines.
The ten Nines say, TEN NINES.
NOW, YOU SEE US...
[Sneeze]
The centres of the nines slide out.
The ten nines say,...NOW, YOU DON'T.
[Gasps]
Ones jump into the centre of each Nine. The Nines combine to create Ninety.
Ninety says, AND WHAT HAVE WE GOT HERE?
[Slide whistle]
[Rustling]
[Dramatic music plays]
Numbers jump and say their names as they form.
Ten says, TEN.
Twenty says, TWENTY.
Thirty says, THIRTY.
Forty says, FORTY.
Fifty says, FIFTY.
Sixty says, SIXTY.
Seventy says, SEVENTY.
Eighty says, EIGHTY
Ninety says, AND...NINETY.
[Cheering]
Sixty says, NINETY HAS GOT THE
HIGHEST SCORE, BUT I WONDER

[Chuckling]
