Credit: Written by Lorin Clarke

Poppy, a girl with her hair in a braid pulled back with a green headband wearing a blue and green striped dress, says,
WOW! WE HAVE MADE
A TRULY EPIC BLOB!

Chaz, a purple wombat wearing a pink T-shirt, says, NEEDS MORE WATER THOUGH.

Poppy says, AND A SMIDGE MORE BUBBLE BATH.
IT'S PERFECT!
LET'S TAKE IT TO THE—

Poppy tries to pull a large beige blob on a counter in a pizzeria.

(Poppy grunts)

Poppy says, SO. HARD TO. MOVE!

Chaz tries to pull the blob.

(Chaz grunts)

Poppy calls, DAD! CAN YOU HELP US WITH THIS?

Poppy’s dad, a man with a small beard and glasses wearing a green striped shirt, enters the pizzeria and says, WHAT SEEMS TO BE THE PROBLEM?

(Poppy grunts)

Poppy says, WE CAN'T MOVE IT!

Poppy’s dad pulls on the blob.

Aunt Ria, a woman with red wavy hair wearing a white shirt and a green striped skirt, appears and says, WHAT’S HAPPENING?
OH! LET ME HELP!

Aunt Ria pushes on the blob.

(Aunt Ria grunts)

Poppy’s dad says, IT'S LIKE IT'S...
...GLUED TO THE COUNTER!

Poppy says, IT'S NOT GLUED!
IT'S MOSTLY FLOUR AND WATER.

Poppy’s dad says, FLOUR AND WATER MAKE GLUE, POPPY.

Poppy and Chaz say, OHH!

Aunt Ria says, LET'S GET THIS CLEARED
BEFORE OUR CUSTOMERS COME IN!

Poppy’s dad raises his hand and says, WE NEED TO BREAK IT INTO PIECES.

(Action music)

Aunt Ria, Chaz, Poppy, and Poppy’s dad each lower safety goggles over their eyes.

Poppy’s dad hits the blob with a shoe. The heel of the shoe breaks off.

Poppy’s dad hits the blob with a wooden rolling pin. The rolling pin breaks in two.

Poppy’s dad hits the blob with a hammer. The steel hammer head shatters and falls off the handle.

Poppy says, LET'S FACE IT, IT'S...
IT'S...

(Squeak)

Poppy says, INDESTRUCTIBLE!

The Sprinklers, small brightly coloured insect-like creatures, say with squeaky voices,
INDESTRUCTIBLE!
A pink bus drives by.

(Chimes ring)

The Sprinkle Fairy a female fairy with wings, glasses, a yellow crown, grey upswept hair, wearing a purple costume and holding a wand, appears and says,
INDESTRUCTIBLE MEANS
NOT ABLE TO BE DESTROYED.
YOU KNOW, LIKE THE WAY
NOBODY SEEMS TO BE ABLE
TO DAMAGE THIS... THIS...
WHAT DO YOU CALL IT?

Poppy says, SPLAT.
COULD YOU HELP US BREAK IT?

The Sprinkle Fairy says, EH. NORMALLY? LOVE TO.
BUT I JUST GOT MY NAILS DONE
FOR A WAND MODELLING PHOTO SHOOT!
TOODLES!

The Sprinkle Fairy flies away.

(Door bells ring)

Poppy’s dad waves and says, HEY!

A man with a bald head, a small goatee, and pineapple-patterned shirt, enters a door to the pizzeria and says, HELLO!

Poppy’s dad says, YOUR ORDER IS READY.
LET ME JUST GO PACK IT UP.

The bald man says, THANKS. WHAT'S THAT?

Chaz says, IT'S AN EPIC BLOB.
IT'S INDESTRUCTIBLE.

The bald man puts safety goggles over his eyes and says,
INDESTRUCTIBLE, YOU SAY?

The bald man raises a wooden rolling pin and says,
CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!

The bald man hits the blob with the rolling pin. The blob does not break.

The bald man hits the blob with a steel-headed mallet. The mallet head sticks in the blob.

The bald man looks at the blob and says, HMM.... BETTER TRY
MY LUCKY ROCK.

The bald man holds up a rock. A shaft of light shines down on the rock.

(Poppy, Chaz, and Aunt Ria gasp)

The bald man hits the blob with the rock. The rock shatters in his hand.

Poppy says, OH NO! IT'S INDESTRUCTIBLE.
MAYBE THE MOST INDESTRUCTIBLE
THING IN THE WORLD!

Poppy’s dad enters the pizzeria carrying a pizza box.

The bald man says, YOU DIDN'T TELL ME YOU HAD
THE MOST INDESTRUCTIBLE
THING IN THE WORLD!

Dad says, WELL, I--

The bald man raises his hand and says,
THIS IS DEFINITELY A STORY
FOR THE COLOSSUS GAZETTE.

The bald man takes the pizza box from Poppy’s dad and says, I'M GOING TO GET MY CAMERA!

The bald man leaves the pizzeria.

Two Sprinklers pull on the lid of a jar of grated cheese. The lid stays on.

(Sprinklers squeak)

Chaz says, IF ONLY WE KNEW
SOMEONE STRONG ENOUGH TO--

Poppy waves and says, HI BETTY!

Betty, a woman with blond hair in a ponytail dressed in workout clothes and with muscular arms, enters the pizzeria and says, HI POPPY!
BANANA AND PICKLE PIZZA
WITH CUSTARD PLEASE, LIAM.

Liam, Poppy’s dad, bows and says, OF COURSE!

Poppy says, WHILE YOU'RE WAITING, COULD YOU
HELP US WITH SOMETHING?

Betty says, SURE!

Poppy says, IF ANYONE CAN BREAK THIS BLOB,
I BET IT'S YOU.

Betty says, PIECE OF CAKE!

Betty wears safety goggles and hits the blob with a steel-headed mallet. The building shakes. The mallet head cracks.

Betty says, I'LL BE BACK.

Two Sprinklers on a table push the jar of grated cheese on its side and push it off the table. The jar of cheese hits the floor and does not break.

Poppy looks at the blob and says,
IT'S INDESTRUCTIBLE!
WE'LL HAVE TO
LEAVE IT HERE FOREVER.

Liam says, WE'RE A PIZZERIA.
WE CAN'T LEAVE AN INDESTRUCTIBLE
BLOB ON THE COUNTER.

Poppy turns to look at the blob.

(Poppy gasps)

(Door bells ring)

The bald man enters the pizzeria carrying a camera and says,
I'M BACK TO DOCUMENT
THIS INDESTRUCTIBLE BLOB!

Poppy says, I THINK I CAN FIX THIS!

Poppy and Chaz paint the blob in different colours. The bald man snaps pictures with the camera.

(Liam sighs)

Liam says, THAT BLOB ON THE COUNTER
IS A NUISANCE!

Aunt Ria says, YES, BUT THINK ABOUT IT -
WE'RE GOING TO BE IN THE PAPER!

Liam says, HEY, AL! MAKE SURE THE
PIZZERIA SIGN IS IN THE SHOT!

Al, the bald man, says, YOU GOT IT!

Two Sprinklers stand on the jar of grated cheese. They roll the jar towards a wall. The jar’s lid falls off.

A man with a beard wearing a purple shirt and holding a baby with a rattle says,
HI RIA! CAN WE GET A—

(Rattling noise)

The man holding the baby says, YES, CAN WE G—

The baby throws the rattle in the air. The rattle floats towards the blob.

(Aunt Ria gasps)

(Liam gasps)

(Poppy gasps)

(Camera snaps)

(Poppy and Chaz gasp)

The rattle hits the top of the blob. The blob cracks and falls apart in pieces.

Al says, WHAT A STORY!
THE INDESTRUCTIBLE COMPLETELY
DESTROYED. ON CAMERA!

Betty arrives carrying a sledgehammer and says, I'M TOO LATE?

Poppy says, MASSIMO BROKE IT!
IT WAS AMAZING!

Betty rubs the head of Massimo, the baby.

Betty says, WHOA! I'VE GOT A RIVAL!
THE STRONG BABY OF COLOSSUS!

(Massimo laughs)

The man holding Massimo says,
WE HAVE DONE SO MUCH
TO THIS RATTLE -
DROPPED IT, STEPPED ON IT,
BUT IT'S INDESTRUCTIBLE.

All say, INDESTRUCTIBLE?!

(All laugh)

(Theme music)
