Cris walks along a sidewalk. He has brown hair and wears a green sweater with red pants. A cat, Crat, follows while reading a book.
Crat reads, "THE SECRET KEY SPARKLED FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE LAKE. DETECTIVE TRIPPLETHORPE BUCKLED HER LIFE VEST AND JUMPED IN WITH A SPLASH!"
Crat walks in a puddle.
Cris says, CRAT! I TOLD YOU NOT TO READ AND WALK.
Crat says, I CAN'T HELP IT! EVERY PAGE IS JAM-PACKED WITH ADVENTURE AND MYSTERY!
Chrissy and Christy say, BORING!
Chrissy and Christy are twins with long brown hair. They wear each wear a shirt with an octopus on the front.
Christy says, WHY NOT READ A SCIENCE BOOK?
Chrissy says, THEY'RE JAM-PACKED WITH FACTS!
Christy asks, DID YOU KNOW OCTOPUSES HAVE A BRAIN IN EVERY ARM?
Crat says, EH, I'LL STICK TO MYSTERIES. I JUST WISH THERE WERE MORE IN REAL LIFE.
Cris asks, WHO'S MOM TALKING TO?
Crat says, I DON'T KNOW, BUT THAT COAT MAKES HIM LOOK LIKE A SPY!
Mom talks to a man in a long yellow coat and a hat.
Chrissy says, RELAX, DETECTIVE CRATTLETHORPE. MOM PROBABLY FINISHED WORK EARLY.
Christy says, AND BUMPED INTO A FRIEND.
Crat says, A SECRET FRIEND WITH... TOP-SECRET MESSAGES?!
The man gives Mom a piece of paper.
Crat says, LOOK AT 'EM, PASSING NOTES! IT'S SO... SO... SUSPICIOUS!
Creatures cry, SUSPICIOUS!
A green and yellow double-decker bus drives past.

The Sprinkle Fairy flies in. She has tall grey hair and wears glasses. She has a wand and crown and is dressed in purple.
Sprinkle Fairy says, SUSPICIOUS IS WHEN YOU'RE NOT SURE IF YOU CAN TRUST SOMETHING. YOU KNOW, LIKE CRAT WONDERING WHAT CRIS' MUM AND THE SALESPERSON ARE UP TO!
Cris says, MOM'S GONE! AND SO IS THAT MAN!
Sprinkle Fairy points her wand and says, HE'S OVER THERE!
The man in the yellow coat walks while looking at a piece of paper.
(Crat gasping)
Crat says, MORE SUSPICIOUS NOTES! WE GOTTA FIND OUT WHAT THEY ARE!
Sprinkle Fairy says, AND I HAVE TO WORK OUT WHY MY FRIDGE IS SO SMELLY! TOODLES!
Sprinkle Fairy flies away.
Crat says, NO PROBLEM! DETECTIVE CRATTLETHORPE IS ON THE CASE!
(Music playing)
Two creatures fish in a puddle. The pull at a fishing rod and a toy dinosaur is pulled out of the puddle. The creatures jump up and run.
(Shrieks)
(Music playing)
Crat watches from a bush as the man in the yellow coat walks.
Three chipmunks look at Crat.
Crat says, SHH!
Crat grabs a red skateboard and tiptoes after the man. The chipmunks tiptoe after Crat. Cris, Chrissy and Christy walk on a sidewalk.
Crat drops the skateboard and picks up a folding chair. He hides behind it as he walks.
Cris says, CRAT! HOW LONG ARE WE GONNA PLAY DETECTIVE?
Crat says, WHO'S PLAYING? THIS IS SERIOUS!
Christy says, SERIOUSLY BORING! WE REALLY WANNA GO HOME AND READ ABOUT OCTOPUSES. DID YOU KNOW THEY SWIM BACKWARDS?
Christy walks backwards on a playground. She trips over a seesaw and Crat is flung into the air.
Christy cries, WOAH!
Crat cries, WOOOAAAH!
(Chrissy gasps)
Chrissy runs and catches Crat. She lands on Christy.
(Thuds)
(All groan)
Crat says, DON'T LET HIM SEE US!
Cris crawls on the ground. The man in the yellow coat looks around. He hands a piece of paper to a woman.
Cris says, HMM... MAYBE THERE REALLY IS SOMETHING SUSPICIOUS GOING ON!

(Wind blowing)
The piece of paper blows away.
(Crat gasps)
Crat cries, QUICK! GRAB THAT NOTE!
The paper falls in a fountain.
Crat says, NO!
(Annoyed sigh)
Crat pulls the wet paper out of the fountain.
Crat says, I CAN ONLY READ A 2 AND A 1. UGH! NOW I'M EVEN MORE SUSPICIOUS!
Cris looks at the paper.
Cris says, OR MAYBE IT'S A 21?
(Gasps)
Cris says, LIKE THE NUMBER OF OUR HOUSE! COME ON!
Cris runs.
(Music playing)
The two creatures hold a fishing rod over another puddle. They pull on it and a starfish comes out.
(Giggling)
Crat is outside a low-rise apartment building.
Crat says, EVERYTHING'S QUIET. TOO QUIET.
Chrissy says, FOR OUR HOUSE, THAT'S REALLY...
Christy and Chrissy say, WEIRD!
Cris says, SHH! I HEAR WHISPERING.
The man in the yellow coat hands another piece of paper to a red-haired woman.

Cris says, HMM... ANOTHER SUSPICIOUS MEETING!
(Wind blowing)
Papers blow away from the man in the yellow coat.
Crat says, CLUES ON THE MOVE!
Cris and Crat chase the papers.
Crat asks, IS IT A CODE WORD FOR A SECRET MEETING? OR A WARNING?!
Cris jumps and grabs a paper.
(Grunting)
Cris says, YOU'RE KIDDING! IT'S A SALES AD FOR RAIN BOOTS.
Mom comes over. She holds boxes.
Mom says, TWO PAIRS FOR THE PRICE OF ONE!
Crat says, THAT'S THE MYSTERY? A SHOE SALE?! BUT... BUT... THE MAN LOOKED SO SUSPICIOUS IN THAT RAINCOAT!
Cris says, WELL, IT HAS BEEN RAINING.
Crat says, I DON'T BELIEVE IT! I WAS SUSPICIOUS FOR NOTHING!
(Twins gasping)
Chrissy and Christy cry, TWO FOR ONE RAIN BOOTS?!
Chrissy says, WE CAN GET FOUR PAIRS!
Christy says, AND GIVE THEM TO AN OCTOPUS!
(Music playing)
The two creatures pull on a fishing rod. They pull another fishing rod out of a puddle.
(Cheering)
Cris says, DON'T BE SAD. IMAGINE - DRY PAWS! AND YOU'LL LOOK JUST LIKE YOUR HERO!
Cris holds a book. On the cover a detective wears yellow rainboots. The detective’s face changes to Crat’s.
