Cris asks, WHAT ABOUT HERE?

Crat says, IT'S NOT WINDY
ENOUGH, CRIS. MY WHISKERS
AREN'T MOVING AT ALL.

Cris points.

Cris says, OVER THERE!

Grandpa Rex asks, A WINDY SPOT?

Al waves to Aunt Delilah as she walks away from his food truck. He wears a yellow shirt. The sign over the truck shows images of French fries, pie, and an orange can.

Cris says, NO. AL’S FOOD TRUCK!
NOTHING GOES BETTER WITH KITE
FLYING THAN A SCRUMMY
FRUIT SMOOTHIE.

[Sad music plays]

Cris says, BUT I HAVEN'T GOT
ANY MONEY.

Crat says HA! I DON'T EVEN
HAVE POCKETS!

Cris says, OH WELL, NOT TO
WORRY. LET’S FLY THE KITE.

WE CAN CATCH THE WIND
UP ON THAT HILL!

Cris and Crat run towards a hill. Grandpa Rex sits on a bench and watches them.

Grandpa says, I'M GONNA JUST
CATCH MY BREATH HERE.

[Laughing]

Crat trips and lands on his back.

Cris says, WHAT AN AMAZING
TRICK! DO IT AGAIN!

Crat says, IT WASN'T A TRICK.
I TRIPPED ON THAT ROCK.

Cris picks up the rock. An orange token with a picture of Al and a smoothie lies beneath the rock

Crat says, WOW, LOOK!
WE CAN GIVE THIS TOKEN
TO AL FOR A FREE SMOOTHIE.

[Honk]

Cris says, WOW. THAT WAS…
FORTUITOUS!

Four creatures appear in front of a pink bus. Each creature has one antenna on the top of its head.

The creatures shout, FORTUITOUS!

[Upbeat music plays]

Text reads, “Fortuitous.”

A woman with wings and grey hair flies beside the word.

The winged woman says, WHEN GOOD
THINGS HAPPEN YOU KNOW, LIKE
THE WAY CRAT JUST TRIPPED AND
AND FOUND THE TOKEN TO GET
A SMOOTHIE.

[Whoosh]

Cris asks, WANNA FLY
THE KITE WITH US?

The winged woman says, OH,
LOVE TO BUT I'VE GOT MY HANDS
FULL BLYING THE BUS.

Cris says, LET'S GO GET OUR
FREE SMOOTHIE.

Crat says, YOU CAN HAVE IT, CRIS.
I JUST WANT MY LUCKY ROCK.

Crat holds up the rock.

Crat explains, WHEN I TRIPPED ON IT,
I FOUND THE TOKEN.

[Gasp]

Crat says, IF I KEEP IT, I BET MORE
FORTUITOUS THINGS WILL HAPPEN!

Two antenna creatures pick up another rock and find a second token. The yellow creature carries the token as a blue creature runs behind it. The rock rolls down the hill behind them as they follow Cris and Crat.

Cris says, ONE BANANA, TOMATO
AND BUBBLEGUM SMOOTHIE PLEASE!

Al says, COMING RIGHT UP.

YOU ALSO GET THE LAST GUESS
AT THE NUMBER OF PICKLES IN
THIS JAR TO WIN A PRIZE!

Al gestures to a jar filled with pickles.

Cris says, GEE, I DON’T KNOW.

Cris watches a jogger run past. She wears a green shirt the number seventy-three on the front.

Cris says, HER SHIRT HAS A
SEVENTY-THREE, SO I'LL SAY
SEVENTY-THREE?

Al announces, WRONG. IT’S
SIXTY-FOUR. SO THE WINNER
WITH EXTRA CHILIS AND CHILI
SAUCE - PLUS ONIONS – IS THE
STRONG WOMAN!

The strong woman says, THANKS, AL.

Cris says, I'M GLAD I DIDN'T WIN.

[Dramatic music plays]

Al says, AND SECOND PRIZE OF
A PINEAPPLE AND ANCHOVY
SMOOTHIE GOES TO…CRIS!

Cris says, BUT CRAT LOVES
ANCHOVY SMOOTHIES.

Crat says, GREAT! ALL BECAUSE
YOU PICKED A NUMBER YOU
HAPPENED TO SEE. THAT’S
SO FORTUITOUS.

Text reads, “Fortuitous.”

[Peaceful music plays]

Cris and Crat walk on a sidewalk. Crat bounces his lucky rock on his paw as he walks.

Crat says, WHAT A GREAT DAY
THIS IS ALL BECAUSE OF
MY SPECIAL RO-- AHH!

Crat drops his rock and smoothie. He and Cris stop and stare at the mess. As Crat picks up his rock, a large dog run past them as it chases a ball.

Cris says, IF WE DIDN'T STOP,
HE WOULD'VE RUN RIGHT
INTO US. THAT WAS FORTUITOUS!

The two creatures drink smoothie off the ground through a straw.

[Slurping, cheering]

Cris flies his yellow and blue kite.

Crat says, THE WIND'S EVEN
STRONGER NOW. THANKS,
LUCKY FORTUITOUS ROCK!

[Dramatic music plays]

Cris struggles to hold the kite string as the wind blows. The string unravels from a holder and the kite flies up into a tree.

Cris and Crat say, UH-OH.

Cris says, THE KITE GOT STUCK
IN THE TREE. MAYBE THAT CHIPMUNK
WILL HELP.

A chipmunk stands beside the kite. It blows a raspberry at Cris.

[Raspberry]

Crat says, UM... MAYBE IT WON'T.

[Gasp]

The dog runs to the tree and looks up at the chipmunk. The chipmunk startles and knocks the kite out of the tree.

[Rustling]

Cris says, THAT
WAS FORTUITOUS.

Text reads, “Fortuitous.”

Crat says, MY SPECIAL ROCK
STRIKES AGAIN.

[Chime, happy music plays, rain spats]

Cris asks, IS YOUR ROCK
MAKING IT RAIN, TOO?

Crat hugs his rock.

Crat says, DON'T LISTEN TO HIM.

Cris says, HEY, COME ON!
THE RAIN'S RUINED EVERYTHING.

Cris and Crat stand under a yellow umbrella with Grandpa Rex.

Grandpa Rex says, BUT IT MADE
THAT RAINBOW. LOOK!

Cris says, UGH, I CAN'T SEE IT.

Cris, Crat, and Grandpa Rex step forward and look at the rainbow.

[Gasp, harp music plays]

Cris says, COOL!

Crat says, OOH!

The umbrella snaps shut behind them.

Granpa Rex says, LUCKY WE
WEREN'T UNDERNEATH WHEN
IT SNAPPED SHUT.

[Upbeat music plays]

Cris says, I CAN'T BELIEVE
HOW MANY FORTUITOUS THINGS
HAPPENED TODAY.

Crat says, THANKS TO MY SPECIAL
RO—I’VE LOST IT!

The two creatures running from the second rock fall. The rock stops rolling behind them.

Crat asks, WHERE ARE YOU,
LUCKY ROCK?

Cris says, UH-OH.

Cris jumps on to the grass as the dog bounds towards him. Crat jumps into a garbage can.

[Gasp, trumpet flourish plays]

Crat says, MY ROCK!
COME TO PAPA!

[Upbeat music plays, whistling]

Cris says, YOU FOUND YOUR ROCK
WITHOUT HAVING YOUR ROCK.

Crat says, IT'S SO SPECIAL,
FORTUITOUS THINGS HAPPEN
EVEN WHEN IT’S NOT AROUND.

I'LL NEVER NEVER LET YOU
GO AGAIN, ROCK.

[Chime]

End credits roll.
