(Happy music plays)

An animation shows traffic travelling through a city. People are gathered outside houses and a pizza parlour. A pink school bus scatters stars as it passes by a grassy hill.

Text reads, “TVO kids and ABC presents”.

Children and their pets run to the hill and climb onto the title which they read, BIG WORDS, SMALL STORIES.

A person reads the episode title.

They read, JOKEY PANTS.

Text reads, written by Anne-Marie Perrotta.

From an upside down view, Oleander’s baby brother Massimo giggles. The siblings dad wears a purple shirt with Massimo strapped to his chest. Oleander hangs upside down on a jungle gym.

She says, MASSIMO!

Oleander imitates a monkey. Massimo giggles. Oleander laughs and makes more monkey-like sounds. She climbs upright on the jungle gym and swings off.

Oleander says, HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT, SALLY?

Oleander frowns. She looks around, waiting for a response, but doesn’t get one.

She says, HUH?!

Oleander spots Chaz and her salamander Sally watching Poppy standing on a small stage, all of them laughing. Oleander joins them.

She says, HEY, GUYS!
WHAT'S SO FUNNY?

Sally says, POPPY!

Sally giggles.

She says, DO THAT THING AGAIN!

Poppy says, OKAY!

In a grumpy, playful voice, Poppy says, I'M A HUNGRY, HUNGRY BEAR!

Poppy growls.

She says in her grumpy voice, TUMMY GRUMBLY! FEED ME!

Sally does a silly dance on the stage. Chaz and Sally laugh. Sally lies on her stomach with tears in her eyes.

A person calls, OLEANDER? SALLY? TIME TO GO!

Oleander and Sally follow Sally’s dad down a sidewalk.

In a grumpy voice, Sally says, "TUMMY GRUMBLY!"

Sally laughs.

She says, OH, THAT POPPY!

Oleander says, IT WAS FUNNY
BUT NOT THAT FUNNY.

Sally gasps. She stops walking and turns to face Oleander. Oleander’s dad also turns.

Sally says, ARE YOU KIDDING?!
POPPY IS
MORE THAN FUNNY!

Candy-like creatures, Sprinkle Fairy’s helpers, Sprinklers, pop up from behind bushes.

Sally says, SHE'S...
SHE'S... HILARIOUS!

The Sprinklers duck below the bushes.

(Celebratory music plays)

More Sprinklers pop up and cheer, HILARIOUS!

A pink double decker bus wears big eyes and a red clown nose. It honks as it drives by. Sprinkle Fairy appears with her star wand.

She says, HILARIOUS MEANS VERY,
VERY, FUNNY.
YOU KNOW,
LIKE HOW SALLY THINKS POPPY
IS THE FUNNIEST
THING SINCE KNOCK-KNOCK JOKES!

Sprinkle Fairy flies over to the friends.

Oleander says, WELL, POPPY MIGHT BE FUNNY
BUT SHE'S NOT HILARIOUS.

Sally says, REMEMBER WHEN POPPY DID
THAT FUNNY FROG WALK?

Sally bends her arms and knees. She steps from one foot to the other. Oleander’s dad and Sprinkle Fairy laugh. They copy the steps.

Sally says, RIBBIT!
RIBBIT! RIBBIT!

Sprinkle Fairy says, HILARIOUS!
I LAUGHED
FOR DAYS!

Oleander says, OH,
COME ON!

Sprinkle Fairy says, YOU HAD TO BE THERE,
DEAR.
ANYHOO, I'M OFF
TO MY 'YOGA WITH CLOWNS' CLASS.

Sprinkle Fairy pauses.

She says, I HOPE THEY TAKE OFF THEIR
BIG SHOES THIS TIME! TOODLES!

Sprinkle Fairy flies away.

Oleander’s dad, Massimo and Sally each say, BYE!

Oleander frowns. She walks down a sidewalk with her family.

She says, I CAN BE HILARIOUS TOO,
YOU KNOW.

Oleander pauses on the sidewalk with Sally.

She says, REMEMBER
THE TIME I TOLD YOU
THAT KNOCK-KNOCK JOKE
ABOUT THE TOMATO?

Oleander shares a picture on her phone of her wearing a tomato costume.

Sally hesitantly says, IT WAS AMUSING...

Oleander says, OR HOW ABOUT
THAT TIME THE MILK FLEW
OUT OF MY NOSE?

Oleander shares a picture of milk spraying out of her nose.

Sally says, HAH. FUNNY.
BUT NOT HILARIOUS.

Oleander puts away her phone.

She says, I'LL SHOW YOU
I'M HILARIOUS!

Sally says, FINE.
BUT CAN YOU SHOW ME
AFTER I GO
TO THE BATHROOM?

Sally runs down the sidewalk. Oleander digs through a box of toys in a bedroom. She tosses toys behind her as she searches. A rubber chick squawks. Two Sprinklers pop out from behind the toys piling up. The orange Sprinkler picks up a party horn. The Sprinkler holds the party horn for the blue Sprinkler to blow into. The Sprinklers gasp at the honking sound it makes.

Sally reads a book on a couch. Oleander runs wearing bright, polka dot yellow pants, a purple feather boa, a red clown nose and a rainbow clown wig with a party hat. She carries a horn. Sally jumps and screams in surprise. She leaps over the couch. Oleander honks the horn.

She says, DON'T I LOOK
HILARIOUS?

Oleander peaks over the couch and gasps.

She says, YOU MEAN, SCARY!

Oleander gasps. She frowns. Sally enjoys a snack at a table.

Oleander says, GET READY TO
LAUGH YOUR HEAD OFF!

She wears silly glasses and juggles two rubber chickens.

She says, WHAT'S FUNNIER THAN
ONE RUBBER CHICKEN?
TWO RUBBER CHICKENS!

Sally gaps as Oleander starts to back up.

Sally says, WATCH OUT!

Oleander bumps into a wall and drops the rubber chickens. The eyes of her silly glasses fall out. Oleander slides down the wall to the floor.

She says, YOU'RE SUPPOSED
TO BE LAUGHING.

Sally says, HOW CAN I LAUGH WHEN
I THINK YOU'RE GONNA
CRASH INTO THE WALL?!

The orange and blue Sprinklers drag their party horn across the table. The orange Sprinkler blows the horn. Sally peaks out a sliding door. She wears a helmet and carries a skateboard. Sally smiles and steps outside. She puts down the skateboard. As she steps onto the skateboard, Oleander pops out of a rosebush. Sally yelps and slips off the skateboard. The skateboard rolls away. Oleander reads from a notecard.

She reads, WHAT'S BROWN, HAIRY
AND WEARS SUNGLASSES?

Sally shrugs.

Oleander says, A COCONUT
ON VACATION!

Oleander shows Sally a picture of a coconut on a beach wearing sunglasses. Sally gives a small chuckle.

Oleander says, AH-HA!
I AM HILARIOUS!

Sally says, I WOULDN'T
GO THAT FAR.
POPPY IS
NATURALLY HILARIOUS.
YOU'RE TRYING
TOO HARD.

Oleander’s dad pops his head out.

He says, OLEANDER? COULD
YOU PLEASE WATCH MASSIMO
WHILE I GET DINNER READY?

Oleander says, SURE.

Oleander drops her shoulders.

She says, NOT LIKE I'M DOING
ANYTHING FUNNY.

Beside the rose bush, the orange Sprinkler stands on a pump attached to the party horn where the blue Sprinkler stands. The orange Sprinkler jumps down on the pump, blowing the horn loudly, and knocking the blue Sprinkler back. The orange Sprinkler runs after the blue Sprinkler. Inside, Massimo plays with a rattle.

Oleander says, SORRY I'M SO
UN-HILARIOUS, MASSIMO.

Massimo babbles happily. He grabs a stuffed elephant.

Oleander says, OH! YOU LIKE
ELEPHANTS?

Oleander grabs the rattle and runs to a stove. She takes two grey towels hanging on the stove and returns to her brother. Oleander wears the grey towels like elephant ears.

Oleander says, I'M AN
ELEPHANT TOO!

Massimo giggles. Oleander crawls on her hands and feet. Oleander laughs as she crawls. She makes an elephant trumpeting sound.

Oleander asks, HOW DO YOU
LIKE MY FLOPPY
ELEPHANT EARS?

Oleander makes the trumpeting sound. Massimo giggles. Oleander continues crawling on the floor, imitating an elephant. She giggles with her brother. Her dad and Sally join her. They smile and laugh. Oleander stands. She looks surprised and confused.

Sally says, THAT'S THE MOST
HILARIOUS THING
I'VE EVER SEEN!

Oleander gasps. Massimo claps.

Oleander says, IT IS?

Sally says, YEAH! WHEN YOU'RE
BEING YOURSELF,
YOU CAN BE
HILARIOUS!

Oleander starts imitating an elephant again. The others laugh while she smiles.
