(Child laughing)

Thomas opens the trunk of the car.

(Squeaking)

Thomas says, LOOK WHAT WE GOT AT THE
STORE!

The narrator says, A BAG OF APPLES AND -
WHOA!
THE BIGGEST POPCORN
BAG EVER!
YOU MIGHT NEED HELP
LIFTING IT! WHERE'S POLKAROO?

Thomas calls, POLKAROO?

Thomas looks around. Polkaroo appears from beside the car.

Polkaroo says, POLKAROOO, POLKAROO!

Polkaroo waves.

Thomas says, POLKAROO!

Polkaroo says, POLKAROO! POLKAROO!
POLKAROO!

Polkaroo jumps up and down. He grabs the big bag of popcorn.

Polkaroo says, POLKAROO?

Polkaroo tosses the bag of popcorn around in his arms.

The narrator says, THAT POPCORN BAG
LOOKS BIGGER THAN THE APPLE BAG,
SO I THOUGHT IT WOULD
BE HEAVIER.

Polkaroo says, POLKAROO! POLKAROO!

Polkaroo tries to balance the popcorn bag on his nose but it slips off. He catches the bag before it can fall.

The narrator says, OH POLKAROO! AND NOW
THE APPLE BAG, THOMAS.

Thomas tries to carry the apples.

He says, OOOOH IT'S HEAVY!

The narrator says, WOAH, THE POPCORN BAG
IS BIG, AND THE APPLE BAG
IS SMALL. YOU'D THINK
THE BIGGER THING WOULD BE HEAVY
AND THE SMALLER THING
WOULD BE LIGHT. POLKAROO,
MAYBE YOU CAN HOLD
ONE IN EACH PAW AND TELL US...

Thomas says, ...HMMM WHICH IS REALLY
HEAVIER.

Polkaroo says, POLKAROO.

Polkaroo takes the bag of apples from Thomas.

Polkaroo says, POLKAROO,
POLKAROO, POLKAROO!

Polkaroo holds up the bag of popcorn with one paw and the bag of apples with the other. The weight of the apples makes him lean in their direction.

The narrator says, WHAT'S THAT,
POLKAROO?
THE APPLES DO FEEL
HEAVIER THAN THE POPCORN?

Polkaroo says, POLKAROO!

Thomas helps Polkaroo carry the apples. Colourful polka dots float by.

The narrator says, SO, IF WE WEIGHED
THEM ON A REAL SCALE,
THE APPLES WOULD
WEIGH MORE?

In an animation, a bag of popcorn and a bag of apples are put on a scale. The side of the scale with the apples drops.

Colourful polka dots float by. Back in the driveway, Thomas holds the bag of apples.

Polkaroo says, POLK-A-ROO!

Polkaroo wipes his forehead. Thomas puts the apples back in the trunk of the car.

The narrator says, A SCALE WOULD'VE BEEN
EASIER POLKAROO, BUT LESS FUN!

Polkaroo says, POLKAROO!

The narrator says, EVEN THOUGH THE
POPCORN BAG IS BIGGER,
IT'S LIGHTER THAN THE
APPLE BAG!
AND MAYBE WE CAN MAKE
THE POPCORN BAG EVEN LIGHTER!

Thomas eats some of the popcorn.

The narrator says, MMMM, MMM, MMMM!

Polkaroo says, POLKAROO!

(Cheering)

Thomas hands Polkaroo a handful of popcorn.

Polkaroo says, POLKAROO!

Polkaroo and Thomas eat the popcorn.

Polkaroo says, POLKAROO! POLKAROO!
POLKAROO! POLKAROO!

The narrator says, GOOD JOB, POLKAROO
AND THOMAS!

Thomas gives Polkaroo a thumbs up. Thomas hugs Polkaroo.

The narrator says, OH THOMAS!

Thomas hangs onto Polkaroo.

The narrator says, YOU ARE
GETTING HEAVY!!!

Polkaroo says, POLKAROO!

Colourful polka dots float by.

The narrator says, POLKAROO AND THOMAS
LEARNED THAT
SMALL THINGS CAN BE
HEAVIER THAN BIG THINGS

Colourful polka dots float by.
