Birds gather in a forest.

Odo the owl says,
HERE I COME!

(Bush rustles)

Odo, a small brown owl with white markings, runs past a blue bird, chickens, a peacock, and yellow birds.

Odo sings, ODO

Birds sing,
ODO, ODO, ODO

(Cluck)

Odo jumps into a muddy puddle with two toucans.

(Splash)

Odo leaps on a fallen tree trunk with Doodle, a small blue bird. Flamingos pop their heads out of the trunk.

Birds sing,
ODO, ODO, ODO

Odo jumps on a tree stump. The birds surround him.

The title reads, “Odo”.

Odo winks.

Text reads, “Moon Cheese”.

The sun shines brightly on a forest. The camp leader, an eagle with a green cap, approaches a chalkboard. Trees and the sun are drawn on it. Birds sit around the camp leader

The camp leader says,
IT'S ALMOST WINTER, AND SOME
OF YOU MAY HAVE NOTICED THAT THE
DAYS ARE GETTING SHORTER AND THE
NIGHTS ARE GETTING LONGER.
AND THAT MEANS WE SEE THE MOON A
LOT MORE.

A bird says, HEY, THAT'S TRUE.

Odo’s eyes widen as he looks at the chalkboard.

(Other birds chattering)

A chicken adds,
OH, OH, WE HEARD THE MOON IS
MADE OF CHEESE!

Another chicken says,
YEAH, MICHAEL THE MOUSE TOLD
US.

The third chicken interrupts,
REALLY SMELLY, STINKY CHEESE.

(Others laughing)

The camp leader says,
RIGHT.
TIME FOR ONE LAST QUESTION.

The three chickens raise their wings.

They reply, OH.

The camp leader adds,
ANY QUESTIONS THAT AREN'T
ABOUT CHEESE?

The chickens say, AW.

They look disappointed as they lower their wings.

Odo asks,
HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO THE
MOON?

(Other birds laughing)

The camp leader says,
SETTLE DOWN, EVERYONE.
I'M AFRAID NOT, ODO.
THE MOON IS FAR TOO FAR AWAY TO
VISIT.
RIGHT, WE'LL PICK UP WHERE WE
LEFT OFF TOMORROW.

The camp leader wipes off the chalkboard.

Two geese and a red bird follow Odo and Doodle through the forest.

A goose says,
THAT IS SO FUNNY, ODO.
HOW CAN AN OWL KNOW SO LITTLE
ABOUT THE MOON?

Odo replies,
BECAUSE I'M DIFFERENT TO OTHER
OWLS.
I CHOOSE TO SLEEP AT NIGHT WHEN
THE MOON IS OUT.

The other goose says,
SO DO WE, AND EVEN WE KNOW
YOU CAN'T VISIT THE MOON.

(Geese laughing)

Odo responds,
I CAN VISIT THE MOON IF I WANT TO.

(All gasping)

The goose says,
BUT CAMP LEADER SAID YOU
CAN'T!

Odo shouts, WELL, I KNOW I CAN.

The other goose asks,
AND HOW ARE YOU GOING TO DO
THAT?

Odo answers,
I'LL PROVE IT BY... BRINGING
BACK A PIECE OF THE MOON.
YOU COMING, DOODLE?

Odo runs away from the other birds.

Doodle says, UM... YEAH.

She follows Odo.

(Geese laughing)

A chicken says,
BRING US BACK SOME CHEESE.

Odo and Doodle leave the camp. Odo’s parents stand at the gate.

Doodle says,
HELLO, ODO'S MUM AND DAD.

Odo’s mom replies, HELLO, DOODLE.

Odo says,
DOODLE AND I ARE STAYING UP
ALL NIGHT SO WE CAN GO TO THE
MOON.
WE'RE GOING TO BRING BACK A
PIECE OF IT TO SHOW EVERYONE.

Odo’s dad asks, ON THE MOON?

Odo’s mom says,
SHALL WE MAKE YOU A SNACK TO
EAT ALONG THE WAY?

Odo replies, YES!

Doodle adds,
YAY, YES!

At night, the moon glows brightly over a tall tree.

Doodle asks,
ARE YOU STILL SURE ABOUT ALL
THIS, ODO?

Odo says,
YES.
DAD SAID THE GEDDY TREE IS THE
BIGGEST TREE IN THE FOREST.
SO IF WE GO TO THE TOP, WE
SHOULD BE CLOSE ENOUGH TO REACH
THE MOON.

Doodle replies, GOOD PLAN.

(Odo grunting)

Odo hops up into the geddy tree. He climbs onto a branch.

Odo shouts,
COME ON, DOODLE!
YOU CAN DO IT!

(Grunting)

Doodle climbs the trunk of the geddy tree.

(Grunting)

Odo hangs from another branch.

He says, WHOA!

Doodle pulls Odo up onto the branch.

(Sighing)

Odo says, WHOA.

Odo and Doodle continue to climb up the trunk of the geddy tree.

(Grunting)

Odo lifts Doodle to a higher branch.

(Doodle grunting)

Michael, the brown mouse, looks up at Odo and Doodle.

Michael shouts,
HELLO!
ARE YOU TWO OKAY UP THERE?

Odo replies,
MICHAEL, WE'RE GOING TO THE
MOON!

Doodle asks,
IS IT REALLY MADE OF CHEESE?

Michael says,
WHY WOULD I WANT TO MAKE A
SNEEZE?

Odo and Doodle look at one another.

Odo asks, WHAT DID HE SAY?

Doodle replies,
I THINK HE SAID IT'S
DEFINITELY MADE OF CHEESE.

Odo shouts,
WE'LL BRING YOU BACK SOME!

Michael asks, WHAT DID YOU SAY?

Odo and Doodle wave to Michael.

Odo shouts, YES, HAVE A LOVELY DAY!

Michael says, HUH.

(Odo grunting)

Odo climbs to the top of the geddy tree. He pulls up Doodle.

Odo says,
HERE WE ARE, AT THE TOP.
UM... READY?
GO!

(Grunting)

Odo reaches for the moon. He tumbles into Doodle.

Odo says,
SORRY, DOODLE.
I THOUGHT WE WOULD JUST STEP OFF
THE TOP OF THE GEDDY TREE AND
STRAIGHT ONTO THE MOON.

Doodle replies,
I THINK WE NEED A NEW PLAN.

Odo says,
WE'LL FIGURE OUT SOMETHING.
I KNOW IT.

Doodle asks,
SHALL WE GO DOWN AND FIGURE
IT OUT ON THE GROUND?

Odo answers, YEP.

(Odo grunting)

(Doodle grunting)

Odo and Doodle leap from one branch to another as they climb down the geddy tree. Doodle falls on a tree branch and is catapulted into the air. She reaches for the moon.

Odo says, WHOA.

Doodle falls back down. She crashes through tree branches.
Doodle says, OOF.

Odo says, OH.

(Grunting)

Doodle continues to fall.

She shouts,
WHOA!
OOH.

(Gasping)

Odo watches Doodle fall.

He says,
WHOA!
DOODLE!

Doodle says, AH!

She falls to the ground. Odo rushes to her.

(Grunting)

Odo asks,
ARE YOU ALRIGHT, DOODLE?

Doodle nods her head.

She replies, UH-HUH.

Odo adds,
THAT WAS SPECTACULAR!

(Yawning)

Reggie, the red fox, approaches Odo and Doodle.

Odo says, REGGIE.

Reggie asks,
YOU GUYS ARE STILL UP SO LATE?
WHAT ARE YOU AND DOODLE UP TO?

Odo replies,
REGGIE, ARE YOU ANY GOOD AT
PULLING?

Reggie looks confused.

He responds, HMM?

(Creaking)

(Reggie grunting)

Odo, Doodle, and Reggie pull on a rope. The rope is connected to a tree branch. A basket is placed in the branch.

(Odo grunting)

The branch is set in place.

Reggie says, HUH?

Odo draws in sand. In the drawing, he and Doodle sit on the branch.

Odo says,
IF MY CALCULATIONS ARE
CORRECT, THIS CATAPULT SHOULD
FLING ME AND DOODLE ALL THE WAY
TO THE MOON.

Reggie replies, LOOKS GOOD TO ME.

Doodle looks unsure.

She says, UH... LET'S TEST IT FIRST.

Doodle tosses pine cones into the basket. She gives Odo a pine cone with brown feathers attached to it.

Odo asks,
IS THAT SUPPOSED TO BE ME?

Doodle nods.

She replies, MM-HMM.

Odo says, I LIKE IT.

Odo places his pine cone in the basket.

He says, AND... GO!

Reggie rips the rope with his claw. The basket is shot up high into the air.

Odo says, WHOA.

Doodle adds, AH.

The pine cones fall back to the ground.

Odo and Doodle say, UH-OH.

They dodge the falling pine cones.

Odo says,
WHOA!
WHOA!

(Grunting)

A pine cone lands on Doodle’s head. The basket traps her. Odo picks up the basket.

Doodle says, OW.

Odo asks, DOODLE, ARE YOU OKAY?

Doodle replies,
I... I THINK SO.
FOR A MOMENT, I WAS SEEING TWO
OF EVERYTHING.
CAN WE TAKE A LITTLE BREAK?

Odo says, SURE.

Reggie adds, THAT WAS FUN.

(Yawning)

Reggie adds,
BUT I'VE GOT TO GO.
GIVE A SHOUT IF YOU NEED ME.

Reggie runs away from Odo and Doodle.

The moon continues to glow brightly in the sky. Odo and Doodle lean against a tree stump.

(Odo yawning)

Odo says, WE NEED TO THINK.

(Yawning)

Doodle replies,
YES, JUST FOR A LITTLE WHILE.

Odo adds,
WHAT ABOUT IF WE...
NO.

(Yawning)

Odo continues,
WHAT IF...
NOPE, NOT THAT, EITHER.

Odo and Doodle shut their eyes.

(Both snoring)

Odo’s parents fly to Odo and Doodle. They land in front of them.

Odo’s mom says,
AH, THEY DIDN'T REACH THE MOON.

Odo’s dad replies,
LET'S BRING THE MOON TO THEM.

He pulls a leaf off a bush.

Odo’s dad says,
AH, THIS ONE SHOULD WORK.

He pokes a hole in the leaf and raises it above his head. Moonlight glows through the hole and shines on Odo and Doodle.

(Mother clearing her throat)

Odo and Doodle wake up.

Odo asks,
MUM, DAD?
WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?

Doodle says,
HELLO, ODO'S MUM AND DAD.

Odo’s dad replies,
HI, ODO.
HI, DOODLE.
WHAT'S THAT BY YOUR FEET?

Odo and Doodle look down at the moon’s reflection on the ground.

Odo shouts,
DAD, LOOK!
IT'S A PIECE OF THE MOON!
THIS IS AMAZING.
HOW IS IT POSSIBLE?

(Laughing)

Odo’s dad answers,
I BELIEVE IT'S CALLED A PINHOLE
CAMERA.
IT'S A VERY SPECIAL TRICK OF THE
LIGHT.
GO AND SEE FOR YOURSELF.

Odo holds the leaf.

He says,
OH, YES!
WE CAN SHOW THE OTHERS!

(Chattering quietly)

The sun rises over the forest and sets. The moon glows brightly in the sky the next night. The other bird gathers around Odo and Doodle.

Odo asks,
IS EVERYBODY READY TO SEE A
PIECE OF THE MOON?

A goose replies,
DO YOU THINK THAT IT'S POSSIBLE?

Odo says,
WE'RE GOING TO NEED MORE SPACE.
CAN YOU ALL MOVE BACK A BIT?

The birds take a step back. Odo holds the pinhole camera over his head. Moonlight glows through the hole in the leaf.

Odo shouts, TA-DA!

(Others gasping)

Another goose responds,
HE DID IT!
HE ACTUALLY DID IT!
OH!

The birds take a closer look at the moon’s reflection on the ground.

The camp leader adds,
YOU REALLY DID BRING US THE
MOON.

The birds cheer.

The chickens say, CHEESE, PLEASE.

(Squawking)

The chickens peck at the moon's reflection on the ground.

One of the chickens says,
YUCK, IT TASTES LIKE DIRT.

(All laughing)

Odo replies, OH, DEAR.

A goose asks,
DID YOU REALLY GO TO THE
MOON, ODO?

Odo answers,
WOULDN'T YOU LIKE TO KNOW?

(All laughing)
