Mathematician Eric appears on screen. He's in his mid-twenties. He has short dark brown hair and a beard. He wears a red T-shirt with the show's logo and blue jeans.

The screen turns red and the logo of the show appears next. It reads "MathXplosion." Meanwhile, cones, cubes and dices float around it.

Kids voices sing a song with lyrics that go WHAT A HIT
IT'S NOT A TRICK
IT'S MATHXPLOSION
JUST FOR YOU
COOL AND NEW

The episode starts with Eric standing in a workroom. A green ice floats near him until he grabs it.

Eric says HAH! I BET YOU DIDN'T KNOW THAT
I HAVE X-RAY VISION.

He puts on goggles and says IT'S TRUE! SEE THIS STACK
OF DICE?
BELIEVE IT OR NOT,
I CAN SEE THROUGH THEM
AND TELL YOU THE SUM OF ALL THE
NUMBERS ON THE HIDDEN FACES!
WHAT? YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME?
WELL, STICK AROUND, 'CAUSE BY
USING THIS ONE EASY TRICK,

(making buzzing noise)

A VOLUNTEER.

He snaps his fingers and his double appears wearing a blue T-shirt.

Eric says OKAY, SO PLEASE SPIN THOSE DICE,

ONE ON TOP OF ANOTHER.
I'LL TURN AROUND SO I CAN'T SEE.
(alarm sounding)
OKAY, ALL RIGHT.

Eric's double looks shocked.

Eric's double checks the stack of dice. A sum reads "3 plus 6 plus 1 plus 6 plus 1 equals 17."

Eric says HOW'D I KNOW?
ALLOW ME TO SHARE THE SECRET
OF THE DICE. SHH.

Eric snaps his fingers again making his double disappear.

Eric says OKAY, SO MAYBE I DON'T HAVE
X-RAY VISION EXACTLY.
HERE'S THE SECRET.

WILL ALWAYS BE SEVEN.
THE OPPOSITE FACE OF ONE IS SIX.
