A young girl narrates, “SHAPES.
THIS IS MY FRIEND NAJAH.
SHE'S 18 MONTHS.
WE'RE BUILDING WITH BLOCKS.
WE HAVE LOTS OF DIFFERENT
SHAPES TO CHOOSE FROM.”

Najah drops a block.

The young girl says,
“BABIES LOVE TO BUILD.”

Najah stacks blocks.

The young girl adds,
“GOOD JOB, NAJAH.”

Najah picks up a pink disc and
walks away from the blocks.

A colourful design of circles,
squares, and triangles grow.

A dark-haired boy says,
“THIS IS A SQUARE.”

The young girl says,
“THIS IS A CIRCLE.
CIRCLES ARE ROUND.”

The boy says,
“THIS IS A PENTAGON
BECAUSE IT HAS FIVE SIDES.”

The young girl says,
“THIS IS A TRIANGLE.
A TRIANGLE HAS THREE SIDES.
THERE'S SO MANY
COOL SHAPES.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE?
SOME OF MY FAVORITES

A HEART.”

Iced heart-shaped cookies lay on
a rack.

The young girl adds,
“A CIRCLE.”

Oranges are cut in half and faced
up on a wooden board.

The young girl continues,
“AND A STAR.”

A bright yellow origami star is
tightly folded.

The young girl and dark-haired boy play
with blocks. The young girl stacks
colourful blocks high on a table.

The young girl says,
“I LIKE BUILDING STUFF.”

The dark-haired boy says,
“I'M BUILDING SOMETHING
TALLER THAN THE CEILING.”

The young girl builds a taller stack
than the dark-haired boy. The
dark-haired boy uses rectangular
blocks and circular rings to build his
stack. His stack falls.

The young girl says,
“WOAH!”

[Laughs]

The young girl pushes over her stack.

The sun shines down as a beach ball
bounces past six toy figures. The figures
are raises up and down on platforms.

A baby boy reaches up to swinging toys
on a mobile.

The young girl says,
“FREDDIE LOVES TO EXPLORE SHAPES
ON HIS MOBILE.”

Freddie grabs at a string of wooden beads.
He moves the beads around in his hand.
The young girl plays with him. Freddie smiles
widely as he lays on a blanket in a yard.

The young girl adds,
“HE'S HAPPY.
WHAT MAKES
YOU FEEL HAPPY?”

[Baby laugh]

A box plays in a cardboard box.

Text reads, “Happy”

The young girl says,
“DUKE IS HAPPY PLAYING
IN A BOX.
GOMAZ IS HAPPY WHEN SHE'S
RESTING IN HER COMFY BED.”

Text reads “Rest”

Gomaz stretches out her arms as she sleeps.

The young girl continues,
“OXFORD LOVES
PLAYING PEEKABOO.”

Oxford wears an oversized fedora on
their head.
Text reads, “Peekaboo”

A blonde-haired boy plays with the blocks.

The young girl says,
“JOJO, DO YOU NEED HELP?
OKAY.”

Three girls sit with Jojo.

The young girl asks,
“CAN YOU FIND THE TRIANGLE?”

Jojo tries to stick blocks into the
same shaped holes. A blonde-haired
girl hands Jojo a block and he puts it in
The right hole.

The young girl says,
“THAT'S WHERE IT GOES.
LIKE THAT?”

Jojo tries to push the wrong shaped
block through a circular hole.

The blonde-haired girl says,
“WHAT ABOUT THIS ONE?
THIS ONES REALLY,
REALLY CONFUSING.
I DON'T KNOW WHERE
TO PUT THIS IN.
YAY.”

Jojo pushes another shape against
a hole.

The young girl says,
“CAN THAT GO IN THERE?”

Jojo puts the triangle block into a
triangle hole.

The young girl says,
GOOD JOB.
YAY.”

A colourful animated city grows.

The dark-haired boy says,
“THIS IS MY RACE TRACK, AND
I BUILT IT FOR A LONG TIME.
I WORKED REALLY HARD ON IT.
LET'S SEE IF IT WORKS.
READY, SET, GO.”

The dark-haired boy rolls a toy car off
a ramp made of blocks. He rolls the
car of the table.

The boy says, “IT WORKED!
LET'S SEE IF THIS CAR CAN MAKE IT.
ONE, TWO, THREE.”

Blocks fall as the dark-haired boy pushes
a toy car over a racetrack made of blocks.

He says, “IT WORKED.
I'M GOING TO DO ONE MORE.
ONE, TWO, THREE.”

The dark-haired boy rolls a car over the
blocks and off the table.

He says,
“WORKED AGAIN.
I'M GOING TO CLEAN UP NOW.”

The dark-haired boy tosses blocks into a
woven tote bag. He slides his arm across
the table and pushes the blocks into the
bag. He picks up blocks off the floor.

The dark-haired boy says,
“I'M ALL DONE CLEANING.”

He gives a thumbs up.

Shapes in many different colours grow.

The young girl says, “FREDDIE'S PLAY
SAUCER HAS SOME COOL THINGS
TO PLAY WITH. THIS RATTLE IS
SHAPED LIKE A CLOUD.”

Freddie bends the handle of a rattle.
He looks around at the different shapes
and colours on a play saucer. The young
girl plays with some of the shapes.

She says, “HE LIKES IT.
GOOD BOY, FREDDIE.
GOOD BOY, FREDDIE.”

Freddie looks excited as he plays with on
of the shapes on the play shuttle.

The young girl says,
“HE'S A HAPPY BOY.”
