I JUST LOVE HOW THE WORLD SMELLS
AFTER A GOOD RAIN.

Nettie has lighter brown spines and a longer nose than Pins.

The name of the show reads "Pins and Nettie. Created by Lindsey Adams and Shannon George."

The narrator says AH, GORGEOUS.
(SNIFFING)

Wearing wellies, Nettie walks on the street sniffing around.

The narrator says NETTIE!
WHAT ARE YOU UP TO NOW THAT THE
RAIN HAS STOPPED?
(SNIFFING, SQUEAKING)
WHAT DID YOU FIND THERE?
WOW.
LOOK AT THAT.
THE RAIN MADE THAT LEAF ALL
SHINY.
OOH.
IT'S PERFECT FOR YOUR SHINY
THINGS COLLECTION.

Pins comes along splashing puddles.

(SQUEAKING)

The narrator chuckles and says WELL, HELLO THERE,
PINS.
THAT WAS QUITE THE ENTRANCE.

(LAUGHING)

The narrator says YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT, PINS.
PUDDLE-JUMPING IS A BRILLIANT
AFTER-THE-RAIN GAME.
(SNIFFING)
(SQUEAKING)

The narrator says OH, DID YOU FIND ANOTHER SHINY
THING, NETTIE?

Nettie sniffs a shell.

(SQUEAKING, SNIFFING)

The narrator says OOH.
WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT?
WHAT A BEAUT.
(SQUEAKING)

The snail slowly comes out of its shell.

The hedgehogs shy away and curl into balls.

The narrator says OH, MY GOODNESS.
YOU'RE NOT A SHELL.
YOU'RE A SNAIL.
DIDN'T MEAN TO FRIGHTEN YOU,
SNAIL.
RIGHT, NETTIE AND PINS?
(SQUEAKING)

The hedgehogs go back to normal and shake their heads.

The narrator says YES.
WE'RE VERY SORRY.
(SNAIL CLICKING)
(SQUEAKING)

The snail pops out of its shell completely, then goes back in its shell.

The narrator says I THINK I KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON.
SNAIL, ARE YOU FEELING SHY?
PINS AND NETTIE FEEL SHY
SOMETIMES, TOO.
(SNAIL CLICKING)

Pins and Nettie walk toward the snail.

The narrator says NETTIE, REMEMBER WHEN YOU FELT
SHY ABOUT MEETING A NEW FRIEND?

She nods and back up.

The narrator says AND SOMETIMES, YOU NEED A MINUTE
OR TWO.
NETTIE AND PINS WOULD LIKE TO BE
FRIENDS, SNAIL...
(SQUEAKING)

The narrator says BUT ONLY IF AND WHEN YOU ARE
READY.

The snail comes out of its shell. Pins and Nettie smile and wave hello.

(SQUEAKING)

The narrator says HI.
(SQUEAKING)

The narrator says GREAT IDEA, NETTIE.
SNAIL, NETTIE WANTS TO SHOW YOU
THE LEAF SHE FOUND TODAY.
OKAY.

(LAUGHING)

The snail takes a bite of the leaf.

(NARRATOR LAUGHING)

The narrator says IT IS PRETTY FUNNY, NETTIE.
YOU LIKE THE LEAF BECAUSE IT'S
SHINY, AND SNAIL LIKES THE LEAF
BECAUSE IT'S YUMMY.
ARE YOU FEELING LESS SHY ABOUT
PINS AND NETTIE NOW?
(SQUEAKING)

The snail grins and nods.

(LAUGHING)

Everyone laughs.

(NARRATOR LAUGHING)

The narrator says IT LOOKS LIKE WE'RE ALL FEELING
PRETTY GIGGLY.
(EVERYONE GIGGLING)

Music plays as the end credits roll.
