(Calm music plays)

The sun shines in a blue sky.

A female narrator says, WHAT A BEAUTIFUL
SUNSHINY DAY, BUT OOH, IT IS
COLD.

Snow covers the ground and Pins and Nettie’s home.

The narrator says, IS THAT…
IT IS!
IT’S SNOW!
OH, I JUST LOVE SNOW!
PINS, NETTIE!
YOU HAVE TO COME OUT HERE AND
SEE THIS!

The door to Pins and Nettie’s home opens and reveals Pins and Nettie.

The narrator says, LOOK!

Pins and Nettie look down at the snow by their front door. They squeak in fright. Pins and Nettie look scared. Their door slams closed.

The narrator says, HM, THAT DID NOT GO HOW I
THOUGHT IT WOULD.

Inside Pins and Nettie’s home, the two hedgehogs are curled up in balls and are shaking.

The narrator says, OH, DEAR.
WHAT HAPPENED HERE?

Pins and Nettie’s eyes peak out from their curled up selves.

The narrator asks, PINS, NETTIE, WHAT’S WRONG?

Pins and Nettie look up.

The narrator asks, IS IT THE SNOW?

Pins and Nettie’s curled up selves nod.

The narrator says, WAIT A MINUTE.
IS THIS THE FIRST TIME YOU’VE
EVER SEEN SNOW?

Pins and Nettie nod.

The narrator says, AND DOES THE SNOW MAKE YOU FEEL
SHY BECAUSE YOU’VE NEVER SEEN
IT BEFORE?

Pins and Nettie nod.

The narrator says, WELL, WE DON’T GET SNOW HERE
VERY OFTEN, DO WE?
I UNDERSTAND HOW IT’S MADE YOU
NERVOUS.

Pins and Nettie uncurl themselves.

The narrator says, I’D PROBABLY CURL UP, TOO, IF
MY WORLD HAD TURNED WHITE
OVERNIGHT AND I DIDN’T KNOW
WHY.

Pins and Nettie look at each other.

The narrator says, NOW, SNOW IS QUITE COLD, BUT IT
WON’T HURT YOU.

Pins and Nettie look unconvinced.

The narrator says, REALLY.
AS LONG AS YOU ARE PROPERLY
BUNDLED UP, SNOW CAN ACTUALLY
BE A LOT OF FUN.

Pins and Nettie both smile and squeak.

The narrator says, REALLY!
WHAT DO YOU SAY?
WANT TO GIVE IT A TRY?

Pins and Nettie squeak. They grin and nod. They jump up and down.

The narrator says, WAIT, DON’T FORGET, YOU HAVE TO
BUNDLE UP.

Pins and Nettie squeak. They smile and walk away. Outside, the door to Pins and Nettie’s home opens revealing Pins and Nettie wearing winter hats and boots. They look nervous.

The narrator says, OKAY, NOW, TAKE IT SLOW NETTIE
AND PINS.
THE SNOW CAN SOMETIMES BE A BIT
SLIPPERY.

Pins and Nettie look at each other. Pins is the first to step outside onto the snow. He squeaks and smiles in excitement as he hops through the snow. The narrator laughs.

The narrator says, WELL DONE, PINS!

Pins jumps in the snow.

The narrator asks, HOW ABOUT YOU NETTIE?
DO YOU WANT TO TRY COMING OUT
HERE?

Nettie smiles. She looks confident as she walks out onto the snow.

The narrator says, NOW, BE CAREFUL.
REMEMBER, THE SNOW CAN
SOMETIMES BE—

Nettie suddenly slips on the snow. She squeaks as she falls. Pins looks worried

The narrator says --- SILPPERY.

Nettie curls up into a ball with her winter hat on top of her. Pins walks to her and rubs up against her. Pins steps back and Nettie’s eyes peak out.

The narrator asks, ARE YOU OKAY, NETTIE?
DID YOU HURT YOURSELF?

Nettie shakes herself to say no.

The narrator says, A LITTLE EMBARRASED MAYBE.

Nettie looks down.

The narrator says, WE’VE ALL SLIPPED IN THE SNOW.
I’VE DONE IT PROBABLY A
GAZILLION TIMES.

(Squeaking)

The narrator says, OH, FOR SURE!

Nettie uncurls herself and squeaks.

The narrator says, THERE YOU GO, NETTIE, WELL
DONE!

Nettie squeaks, standing on the snow. Pins and Nettie squeak in laughter. It starts to snow.

The narrator says, OH, LOOK, IT’S SNOWING AGAIN.
TRY TO CATCH THE SNOWFLAKES ON
YOUR TONGUE.

Pins and Nettie squeak. They open their mouths and catch snowflakes.

The narrator says, GREAT STUFF!

Pins and Nettie hop around on the snow. They squeak and catch snowflakes. They look happy. Nettie slips and slides through the snow. Nettie stops sliding. She smiles and jumps up and down.

The narrator says, OOH, NETTIE, NOW YOU’RE GETTING
FANCY.

Pins slides through the snow smiling.

The narrator says, NICE, ONCE YOU GET THE HANG OF
IT, SNOW CAN BE LOTS OF SLIPPY
SLIDEY FUN, CAN’T IT?

Nettie smiles and Pins winks at her. Pins and Nettie jump and curl into balls.

The narrator says, OH, NO.
WAS IT SOMETHING I SAID?

Pins and Nettie nod. In their curled up balls, Pins and Nettie roll through the snow.

The narrator says, OH, MY GOODNESS!

Pins slides through the snow.

The narrator says, NOW, THAT’S SOME SLIPPY SLIDEY
FUN.
I’M SO GLAD YOU HAVE THE SNOW A
CHANCE!

Pins and Nettie nod.

The narrator says, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS NEW, AND IT
LOOKS LIKE YOU MIGHT NOW LOVE
IT AS MUCH AS I DO.

Pins and Nettie squeak. They both nod and hop and roll through the snow.

The narrator says, WHEE!
LOOK AT THE TWO OF YOU GO!
YAY!
WOO-HOO!
