The girl gazes down at her teddy bear.

The girl says, I WANT TO BE A DOCTOR AND TRAVEL

The king says, HUH?

He takes the teddy bear from the girl and examines it. He tugs at its leg which rips slightly.

The king says, HMM.

The girl takes back her teddy bear.

She says, WE DOCTORS MUST HELP EVERYONE
WHO NEEDS US.
IT'S OUR DUTY.

The king says, HMM.

The king leads the girl down a hallway by the hand. They pass by golden-framed portraits on a wall of other kings and queens.

The king says, YOUR DUTY IS TO WEAR THE CROWN
AND BE A ROYAL BEAUTY.

The king sits the girl down in front of an empty picture frame.

(The king chuckles)

The king places his crown on the girl’s head. It shifts to the side.

The king chuckles and says, OH.

The girl glances up at the crown, then crosses her arms and frowns.

(The girl sighs)

The girl rides through the sky on a plump orange flying dragon. A young man dressed as a court squire rides behind her on the dragon

(The girl giggles)

A title reads, Zog and the Flying Doctors.

The girl cheers, WOO-HOO!

The dragon soars speedily over treetops.

A narrator says, MEET THE FLYING
DOCTORS: A DRAGON, KNIGHT AND
GIRL.

The dragon dives down toward a clearing in a forest. Several animals, a deer, a fox, a squirrel and three rabbits gaze up.

The animals say, OH.

The dragon lands on a tree lying in the clearing. The tree rolls and the dragon, the girl and the young man fall backward.

The dragon says, WHOA!

(They thud on the ground)

(The animals gasp)

(The girl giggles)

The girl stands up and says, OUR NAMES ARE...

The young man says, ...GADABOUT THE GREAT...

Gadabout bows. He wears a white coat over a yellow shirt and a puffy green hat with yellow stripes.

The dragon says, ...AND ZOG...

The girl says, ...AND PRINCESS PEARL.

Princess Pearl wears a white jacket over a red dress.

The animals stare.

(A mole sneezes and falls into his hole)

A grey squirrel hobbles down a path using a crutch.

Pearl feeds a grey wolf.

The narrator says, PEARL GIVES PEOPLE MEDICINE
AND PILLS AND VACCINATIONS.

The wolf smiles and walks past gadabout, who wraps a bandage around a deer’s knee.

The narrator continues, AND GADABOUT IS AN EXPERT AT
PERFORMING OPERATIONS.

Gadabout cuts a strip of bandage.

Gadabout says, AH.

Zog approaches pearl.

Pearl says, HMM?

Pearl hands a wooden bucket to Zog. Zog flies over a lake, filling the bucket with water.

Zog says, WOO.

Zog flies up into the clouds.

The narrator says, ZOG IS GOOD AT FLYING.

Zog says, WOO-HOO!

Zog avoids flying into the top of a pine tree.

Zog says, WHOOPS.

Zog flies awkwardly as he tries to land. He crashes into Gadabout, who examines a grey goat with a stethoscope.

Zog says, OH.

Gadabout says, UGH.

Zog slides to a halt in a grassy field.

Zog says, OOF.

The narrator says, THOUGH NOT QUITE SO GOOD AT
LANDING.

Zog notices Pearl and says, HMM?

Zog hands the bucket to Pearl.

The narrator says, BUT GADABOUT AND PRINCESS
PEARL ARE ALWAYS UNDERSTANDING.

Gadabout approaches Zog waving his stethoscope.

Zog says, HMM?

Zog smiles sheepishly.

(Seagulls squawk)

Pearl and gadabout ride on the back of Zog as he soars over clouds.

The narrator says, FLYING HIGH ONE MORNING, THEY
HEARD A MERMAID WAIL.

(A voice cries)

Pearl says, HUH?

Gadabout says, HMM?

A blonde-haired mermaid sits on a rock in the ocean.

The mermaid says, I'M SUNBURNED AND IT HURTS...

The narrator says, ...SHE CRIED, AND SWISHED HER
SCALY TAIL.

(The mermaid cries)

Two seals cover their ears.

Pearl gazes down from atop Zog and says, OH.
HMM.

Zog dives down toward the ocean. He soars toward two seagulls on a rock. The seagulls fly away.

(The seagulls squawk)

The narrator says, BANG, CRASH, THUMP!
THEY LANDED.

Pearl gets off Zog onto a rock. Zog and Gadabout slide across the ocean past the mermaid.

(The mermaid cries, Zog screams)

(A distant splash)

Zog says, OW!

Pearl hops across rocks toward the mermaid. Pearl carries a doctor’s bag. Zog stands up with Gadabout on his back.

Gadabout falls into the ocean and says, OOH.

(Gadabout splashes)

Zog says, HMM?

Gadabout sits in the ocean, looking annoyed. His hat falls into the water.

The narrator says, THE MERMAID'S SKIN WAS RED.

Pearl examines the mermaid’s skin, then takes a jar of cream out of her doctor’s bag.

The narrator says, PEARL RUBBED IN SOME SPECIAL
CREAM.

Pearl rubs cream on the mermaid’s arms and back.

Pearl says, MM-HMM.

The mermaid sniffs her arm and says, OOH.

Pearl gently touches the mermaid’s nose.

(Pearl and the mermaid giggle)

Pearl says, AND WEAR THIS HAT...

The narrator says, ...SHE SAID.

The mermaid says, UGH.

Pearl says, OH.
UM…

Pearl attaches a star to a straw hat.

The mermaid says, HMM.

A crab slowly chases a snail across a rock. Zog picks up the crab, which pinches its claws at Zog.

Zog stares at the crab and says, HMM.

Zog tosses the crab over his shoulder. It lands on Gadabout and pinches gadabout’s nose.

(Gadabout shouts)

Gadabout glares at Zog and says, ARGH!

Pearl and Gadabout climb onto Zog’s back.

The mermaid says, THANK YOU, DR. PRINCESS
PEARL.

The narrator says, THE MERMAID WAVED GOODBYE AS
THE TEAM OF FLYING DOCTORS SPED
AWAY INTO THE SKY.

(Seagulls squawk)

Zog soars above a forest with Pearl and gadabout riding on his back.

The narrator says, AS THE SUN ROSE HIGHER, THEY
SAW A UNICORN.
HE PAWED THE GROUND AND
WHINNIED.

(A two-horned unicorn whinnies)

The unicorn’s horns are stuck in a large tree branch that drags along the ground.

The unicorn says, I'VE GROWN AN EXTRA HORN.

Pearl says, MM-HMM.

Zog says, YEAH?

Pearl says, MM-HMM.

Zog dives down through the sky.
A small black and white bird pecks at the tree branch.

Zog says, OW!

(A thudding sound)

Gadabout says, UGH!

The narrator says, BANG, CRASH, THUMP!
THEY LANDED.

Zog sits up behind a bush as Gadabout and Pearl walk away from him.

Zog says, UGH.
HUH?

Pearl and Gadabout examine the unicorn.

Pearl and Gadabout say, HMM.

Zog gasps and runs past Gadabout. Zog grabs the tree branch and tugs at it.

(Zog grunts)

Zog says, UGH.

Zog pulls the branch off the unicorn.

Zog says, AH.

The unicorn says, HUH?

The unicorn laughs, then trots into the woods.

Zog stands proudly and says, MM-HMM.

(A cracking noise in the forest)

Zog says, HMM?

(The unicorn groans)

The unicorn drags a larger tree branch stuck to its horns.

Zog says, HMM.

Gadabout says, I'LL HELP YOU...

The narrator says, ,...SAID THE KNIGHT.

Gadabout draws a sword.

(The unicorn gasps and whimpers)

Gadabout gently cuts one of the unicorn’s horns off with his sword. The horn and branch fall to the ground.

The narrator says, AND HE CUT THE HORN OFF GENTLY,
TO THE UNICORN'S DELIGHT.

Gadabout puts a band-aid on the unicorn’s forehead.

The unicorn says, THANK YOU, BOLD SIR GADABOUT,
FOR TAKING SO MUCH CARE.

Gadabout bows.

(The unicorn chuckles)

Gadabout looks proud and says, AH.

Zog frowns and says, HMM.

Pearl pats Zog’s arm.

The narrator says, AND THE TEAM OF FLYING
DOCTORS SPED AWAY INTO THE AIR.

Thick clouds hover over a mountaintop.

The narrator says, HALFWAY THROUGH THE AFTERNOON,
THEY HEARD A LION SNEEZE.

Pearl and Gadabout ride Zog through the clouds.

(A distant sneeze)

A lion sits outside a cave.

(The lion moans)

The lion says, I'VE CAUGHT THE FLU...

The narrator says, ...THE LION ROARED.

The lion says, CAN SOMEONE HELP ME, PLEASE?

(A thudding sound)

Zog says, UGH.

Gadabout says, OW.

The narrator says, BANG, CRASH, THUMP!
THEY LANDED.

(The lion snarls)

The lion stares down at Zog, Pearl and Gadabout from atop a boulder.

Pearl says, UM.

Pearl cautiously approaches the lion, carrying her doctor’s bag.

(A gopher chitters in a small cave)

(The lion snarls)

Pearl gently pats the lion above his nose.

Pearl says, HMM.

(The lion sighs contentedly)
Pearl shows the lion a tongue depressor. The lion opens his mouth.

The lion says, AHH.

Pearl looks surprised and says, OH.

Pearl leans forward and peers inside the lion’s mouth.

Pearl says, HMM.

The narrator says, THEN PEARL SAID...

Pearl says, TAKE THIS PILL.

Pearl tosses a pill into the lion’s mouth, then walks with the lion into a cave.

Pearl says, AND DO KEEP WARM.
THAT'S TERRIBLY IMPORTANT WHEN
YOU'RE ILL.

The lion lies down in the cave. Gadabout and Zog peek into the cave.

The narrator says, BUT THE LION'S CAVE WAS
CHILLY.
SO, ZOG SAID...

Zog says, FETCH SOME WOOD.

Gadabout says, HUH?

Pearl shrugs slightly and says, UM--

Gadabout frowns and says, ARGH.

Gadabout glares at Zog, then walks away. A pile of firewood is placed down inside the cave. Zog breathes fire onto the firewood.

The narrator says, THEN HE BREATHED OUT LOTS OF
FLAMES UNTIL THE FIRE BURNED
BRIGHT AND GOOD.

The lion says, THANK YOU, NOBLE DRAGON.
I'M FEELING NICE AND WARM.

Zog bows and says, AH.

Zog walks out of the cave, accidentally slapping Gadabout with his tail.

The narrator says, THEN THE TEAM OF FLYING
DOCTORS SPED AWAY, INTO THE
STORM.

Zog flies toward storm clouds. Gadabout and Pearl ride on his back.

(Thunder rumbles)
(Lightning crashes)

Zog struggles to fly through the storm. Gadabout looks frightened. Zog looks tired.

Lightning flashes in front of Zog. Pearl gazes into the distance through the storm.

The narrator says, AS EVENING FELL, THEY SAW A
GREAT BIG PALACE DOWN BELOW.

Pearl says, MY UNCLE'S HOUSE...

The narrator says, ...SAID PRINCESS PEARL.

(Zog shivers)

Pearl says, LET'S GO AND SAY HELLO.

Zog dives downward toward a large castle surrounded by a moat. He soars toward the ground and bounces into a courtyard.

The narrator says, BANG, CRASH, THUMP!
THEY LANDED.

Zog slides toward a statue of the king.

Zog, Pearl and Gadabout say, OOH!

The king, who is Pearl’s uncle, stands inside the castle posing heroically as an artist carves another statue.

(Thudding sound)

Zog says OOF.

The statue outside falls to the ground.

(The king gasps)

The king steps out onto a balcony. Zog rubs his snout. Gadabout brushes himself off.

Zog says, PEARL'S UNCLE IS THE KING.

(Gadabout sighs)

The narrator says, HE DIDN'T SAY HELLO.

Pearl waves timidly.

The narrator says, INSTEAD, HE SAID...

The king says, YOU NAUGHTY THING.
WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN...

The narrator says,
...HE THUNDERED.

The king says, YOU LOOK AN AWFUL MESS.
WHAT'S HAPPENED TO YOUR CROWN,
AND WHERE'S YOUR PRETTY, FRILLY
DRESS?

Zog says, HMM?

(A small black dog snarls)

(Pearl laughs nervously)

Pearl says, BUT UNCLE, CAN'T YOU SEE THAT
I'M A DOCTOR NOW...

The narrator says,
...SAID PEARL.
THE KING REPLIED...

The king says, PRINCESSES CAN'T BE DOCTORS,
SILLY GIRL.

Pearl grabs the king’s arm. The king yanks it away from her.

The king says, SEIZE HER!
DON'T LET GO OF HER.
NOW, LOCK HER UP INSIDE.

Two guards take Pearl away. A group of guards stares menacingly at Gadabout and Zog. The guards draw their weapons and charge at Gadabout and Zog.

(The guards shout)

Zog picks up Gadabout and flies into the sky. A guard shoves Pearl into a small, round room with stone walls, and slams a door.

(The door slams)

A key is turned in the door.

(A lock clicks)

Pearl grabs a door handle and says, LET ME GO...

The narrator says,
...CALLED PRINCESS PEARL.
SHE STAMPED, STORMED AND CRIED.

Pearl slumps down against the large wooden door.

(Pearl cries)

Sunlight beams through a window. Pink curtains frame the window.

The narrator says, TIME WENT BY.
AND PRINCESS PEARL SPENT MANY
WEARY HOURS SEWING PRETTY
CUSHIONS AND ARRANGING PRETTY
FLOWERS.

(Pearl sighs)

(A woman clears her throat)

Pearl says, HMM?

A stern-looking woman with her dark hair pulled back into a bun stares at Pearl.

(Pearl sighs)

(The door opens in the distance)

Pearl says, HUH?

The king hums and eats a chicken drumstick as he enters Pearl’s room. He tosses the drumstick and a plate to a guard, who catches them awkwardly.

The king says, HMM.

He gazes at a tall tray of cupcakes, then takes a pink cupcake and eats it. He walks toward the window. A dove sits on the windowsill.

The king says, HMM?

(The dove coos)

The king holds out the cupcake. The dove pecks at the cupcake.

The king says, MMM.

The king takes a bite of the cupcake. Pearl looks miffed.

Pearl says, UGH.

Zog flies toward the castle. He notices Pearl waving behind the window.

Zog says, HMM.
HUH?

Zog flies awkwardly past a tower spire. He gets stuck on a golden antenna. The antenna breaks off. Zog falls to the ground beside Gadabout.

(Zog shouts)

Zog says, OOF.

(Gadabout sighs)

Gadabout picks up a toad.

(The toad ribbits)

Pearl tries to pick the lock of the door to her room with a bobby pin.

(The door lock clicks)

Pearl runs away from the door.

Pearl says, OOH.

(Pearl gasps)

The stern-looking woman enters the room and locks the door. Pearl sits on a bed with pink sheets. The woman puts a book on a wooden table and opens it. The woman winces and looks at a rash on her hand.

Pearl says, HMM.

Pearl picks a rose out of a bouquet, then gathers a bottle and a teacup. She squeezes the rose over the teacup then pours liquid from the bottle into the teacup. Pearl stirs the mixture with her finger, then dabs it onto the woman’s rash.

The woman says, HUH?

(The woman sighs contentedly)

(The toad croaks)

Gadabout uses two toads for suction as he climbs a wall of the castle.

(Gadabout laughs)

A guard opens shutters on a window next to gadabout, crushing him behind a shutter. The guard closes the shutters. Gadabout falls toward Zog. Zog fails to catch him.

Gadabout says, OOH.

(Gadabout thuds on the ground)

(Pearl grunts)

Pearl falls out of a fireplace chimney in her room.

Pearl says, HUH?
OH!

(The stern-looking woman clears her throat)

The stern-looking woman glares at Pearl.

(Pearl gasps)

The woman picks up a white cat.

(The cat moans and sneezes)

Pearl says, HMM.

Pearl picks up a green bottle and half a lemon. She mixes liquid from the bottle and the lemon in a pot propped on books over a burning candle.

Pearl feeds the cat red liquid from a spoon. The cat smiles.

(Pearl giggles)

The king stands on a balcony feeding a cookie to a dove. He notices Pearl giggling in the distance.

The king says, HUH?

The king enters Pearl’s room. Pearl sits on a bench under the window reading. The woman stands beside her, also reading.

The king says, HMM.
HUH?

The king notices a rash on his hand.

Pearl says, OH.

Gadabout and Zog run through bushes.

The narrator says, THE OTHERS TRIED TO RESCUE
HER WITH ALL THEIR MIGHT AND
MAIN.

(The dog barks)

A guard pulls a lever. A drawbridge lifts in front of Gadabout and Zog. Zog bumps into gadabout, knocking him into the moat.

Gadabout says, WHOA! UGH!

The narrator says, BUT THEY SIMPLY COULDN'T
MANAGE.
ALL THEIR EFFORTS WERE IN VAIN.

Gadabout and Zog sit in the moat.

(Pearl sighs)

The stern-looking woman approaches the door, then notices Pearl gazing out the window.

(Pearl sighs)

The woman looks concerned.

(The cat meows)

Pearl notices the cat at her feet.

(Pearl gasps)

The cat nuzzles Pearl’s leg.

(The cat purrs)

(Pearl giggles)

Pearl picks up the cat and pets it.

(Pearl gasps)

A golden key dangles from the cat’s purple collar. Pearl looks excited and smiles. Pearl turns the key in the door lock.

(The lock clicks)

Pearl peeks cautiously out the doorway. Two guards walk down a hallway. Pearl tiptoes through the far end of the hallway. Pearl approaches a tall window at the end of the hallway. Sunlight streams in.

(Someone moans)

(Pearl gasps)

Pearl notices a set of double doors slightly ajar.

(Moaning beyond the doors)

Pearl looks thoughtful. She peeks between the doors. A golden four-post bed with red covers sits at the end of a red carpet.

(More moaning)

Pearl enters the room and walks toward the bed. The king lies in bed.

(The king moans)

(Pearl gasps)

Pearl walks away from the bed, past a candelabra. She stops and looks thoughtful. A crown falls to the floor. Pearl pulls on her white jacket and lights a candle. She carries the candle to a large bookcase. She sits on a purple and gold carpet reading a book. The book contains images of people with various skin ailments.

Pearl says, HMM.

The narrator says, EACH NIGHT, THEY FLEW TO
VISIT HER...

Gadabout and Zog look through the window of Pearl’s room. She notices them and smiles.

Pearl says, AH.

The narrator continues,
...AND PERCHED UPON HER SILL.
AND ONE DARK NIGHT, SHE TOLD
THEM THAT...

Pearl says, ...THE KING HAS FALLEN ILL.

Gadabout and Zog look concerned.

Gadabout says, OH.

The narrator says, THE KING GREW WORSE.

A grey-haired woman takes a thermometer from the king’s mouth as he lays in bed.

The king says, MY HEAD IS SORE.
MY ARMS AND LEGS FEEL WEAK.

The narrator says, HIS SKIN HAD TURNED BRIGHT
ORANGE, AND HE FOUND IT HARD TO
SPEAK.

The woman puts a tongue depressor in the king’s mouth.

The king says, AHH.

The narrator says, HE CALLED A LOT OF DOCTORS, A
NEW ONE EVERY DAY.
HE CROAKED...

The king says weakly, WHAT IS THIS ILLNESS?

The narrator says, BUT THEY SIMPLY COULDN'T SAY.

Five doctors stand at the end of the king’s bed, looking through a book. Pearl sits on the carpet in her room. She closes a book and sighs.

(A dove coos)

A white dove and an ill -looking orange dove sit on Pearl’s windowsill.

(The orange dove sneezes)

The white dove slides sideways away from the orange dove. Pearl stares at the doves.

The narrator says, THEY DIDN'T KNOW THE ANSWER...

(Pearl gasps)

The narrator says, ...BUT PEARL WAS PRETTY SURE.

Pearl pulls a blue book out of the bookcase. Pictures of birds are on the cover and pages of the book.

(Pages flip in the book)

(Pearl gasps)

Pearl says, AH!
IT LOOKS LIKE ORANGE FEVER, AND
I THINK I'VE FOUND THE CURE.

Pearl shows Gadabout and Zog the book through the window.

Gadabout and Zog say, HMM.

Pearl says, GRATED HORN OF UNICORN, A
MIGHTY LION'S SNEEZE, SOME
MERMAID SCALES, A LITTLE
SLIME...

Zog says, ...AND HALF A POUND OF
CHEESE?

Pearl says, DO YOUR BEST TO FIND THEM
ALL, AND DO BE VERY QUICK.
MY UNCLE COULD BE DYING.
HE LOOKS EXTREMELY SICK.

Zog says, AH.
HMM.

The narrator says, AWAY FLEW ZOG AND GADABOUT.
THEY REACHED THE LION'S DEN.

The lion says, AH.

(A thudding sound)

Zog says, UGH.

Gadabout says, OW!

The narrator says, BANG, CRASH, THUMP!
THEY LANDED.

Gadabout tickles the lion’s nose with a purple feather.

The narrator says, HE SNEEZED FOR THEM...

(The lion sneezes)

Gadabout catches the lion’s sneeze in a small sack. Green mucus splatters on Gadabout’s face.

Gadabout says, UGH.

(Gadabout chuckles politely)

The narrator says,
...AND THEN, THEY FLEW BACK
TO THE FOREST, WHERE THE
GRATEFUL UNICORN WAS VERY
PLEASED TO GIVE THEM HIS
UNWANTED, SAWN-OFF HORN.

(Gadabout chuckles)

(The unicorn whinnies happily)

Zog says, HMM.

The narrator says, BACK TO THE MERMAID'S ROCK
THEY FLEW.

(Seagulls squawk)

(Zog splashes into the ocean)

Zog says, UGH!
OOF.

Zog rubs his snout.

(The mermaid giggles)

The mermaid flaps her tail.

The narrator says, SHE GLADLY GAVE SOME SCALES,
AND HER SEA SNAIL FRIENDS
ALLOWED THEM TO COLLECT THEIR
SLIMY TRAILS.

Snails crawl in circles on a rock. Zog picks up a trail of snail slime.

Zog says, OH.

Zog flies over the ocean and through a forest. He flies past a mountain at night, then flies clumsily through clouds.

(Zog pants heavily)

The narrator says, ZOG SAID...

Zog says, ...I'M EXHAUSTED.
AH.

Gadabout pats Zog on the cheek.

Zog smiles and says, HMM.

The narrator says, BUT HE FLEW AND FLEW,
UNTIL...

Pearl paces inside her room.

The narrator says, ...BANG, CRASH, THUMP!
THEY LANDED ON THE BEDROOM
WINDOWSILL.

Gadabout holds up the sack.

Gadabout says, HMM?

He passes the sack to Pearl past steel bars on the window.

The narrator says, PRINCESS PEARL SAID...

Pearl says, ...THANK YOU FOR THE SLIME,
SCALES, HORN, AND SNEEZE.
HMM.

Pearl pours the ingredients into a black pot.

The narrator says, SHE TOOK IT ALL AND MIXED IT
UP...

The stern-looking woman rolls a tray into Pearl’s room. Wedges of various cheeses sit atop the tray.

The narrator says, ...WITH HALF A POUND OF CHEESE.

(Pearl gasps)

Pearl stirs a wedge of Swiss cheese in the pot. She dips a vial into the pot.

(Pearl laughs)

Pearl shows the vial containing purple liquid to Gadabout and Zog, who sit on the windowsill.

(Gadabout and Zog gasp)

Gadabout offers Zog a handshake. Zog scoops him up and hugs him. The windowsill breaks off. Gadabout and Zog fall to the ground.

(Loud thudding)

Zog says, UGH.

Zog and Gadabout sit up in a room full of guards eating and playing cards.

(Loud shouting)

Gadabout and Zog run out of the room. Arrows fly toward them as they run.

(Gadabout and Zog breathe heavily)

Gadabout and Zog run through a courtyard with guards chasing them. Several guards stand in their path in front of a statue of a dragon. Gadabout and Zog are surrounded by guards.

A guard says, HA!

Pearl peeks into the king’s bedroom.

(The king moans)

The narrator says, SHE TIPTOED TO HER UNCLE'S
ROOM.
THE KING LAY IN HIS BED.

The king blurrily notices Pearl standing at his bedside, wearing her white jacket and a stethoscope.

The king says, HUH?
ARGH.
(Wheezing) YOU--
(Moaning)

The king sits up and points at Pearl. He lies back down weakly.

The narrator says, SHE HELD A SPOONFUL TO HIS
MOUTH.

Pearl says, NOW, OPEN WIDE...

The narrator says,
...SHE SAID.

(The king grunts)

The king turns away from Pearl.

(Pearl sighs)

Guards run down a staircase. They rush toward Zog and Gadabout. Zog breathes fire at the guards. A guard tosses a bucket of water into Zog’s mouth, extinguishing his fire.

Zog coughs and says, HUH?

Zog backs away from a guard swinging a spear. Zog and Gadabout back up into each other.

Gadabout says, HUH?

Gadabout and Zog look at each other and smile mischievously.

(Gadabout and Zog snicker)

Gadabout and Zog fight off the guards. Another group of guards runs out of the castle, surrounding Gadabout and Zog. Gadabout has his sword knocked out of his hands. The king knocks a spoon out of Pearl’s hand.

Pearl and the king glare at each other. He lies in bed facing away from Pearl. Pearl looks frustrated, then looks like she has an idea.

Pearl says, HMM.

Pearl gently touches the king’s nose and says, BOOP.

(Pearl chuckles)

The king says, HUH?

(The king chuckles)

The king says, OOH, OOH.

(The king moans as he sits up)

The king says, OH.
AH.

The king reaches to gently touch Pearl’s nose, then slumps weakly back into bed. He looks at Pearl begrudgingly.

The king grunts, OH.

Pearl smiles and feeds him a spoonful of medicine.

The narrator says, AFTER JUST ONE SPOONFUL, HER
UNCLE FELT MUCH STRONGER.

The king sits up in bed.

Pearl says, AH.
HMM?

Pearl gives him another spoonful of medicine.

The narrator says, AND AFTER SPOONFUL TWO, HE
WASN'T ORANGE ANY LONGER.

The king looks in a handheld mirror and says, HUH.

The narrator says, AFTER SPOONFUL THREE, THE
KING WAS DANCING WITH DELIGHT!

(The king hums a happy tune)

The king dances wearing a nightgown. He clutches at his back, then straightens himself up quickly.

(The king’s back cracks)

The king says, OOH.
OOH.
HEE-HEE.
PRINCESSES CAN BE DOCTORS!
YOU WERE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT.
I'M SORRY THAT I LOCKED YOU UP.
OF COURSE, YOU MUST GO FREE.

Pearl smiles and offers the key to the king.

(The king sighs)

The king smiles and says, BUT DO COME BACK TO VISIT ME,
AND BRING YOUR FRIENDS TO TEA.

(Pearl gasps)

Gadabout and Zog are tied up in front of the dragon statue.

(Gadabout grunts)

A guard points a spear at Zog.

(Zog snarls)

Pearl and the king rush onto the balcony. Pearl glares at the king.

The king sheepishly says, AH.

(The king clears his throat and claps his hands)

A guard cuts a rope around Zog’s paws.

Pearl rushes toward Zog and says, HOORAY...

The narrator says, ...CRIED PEARL.
AND OUT SHE RAN TO JOIN THE
OTHER TWO.

Pearl, Gadabout, and Zog hug each other.

A dove pecks at a spoonful of medicine.

(The dove coos)

The stern-looking woman smiles.

(A guard holding the cat whimpers)

The king hesitantly approaches Pearl.

The king bashfully says, YEAH.

Pearl giggles and hugs the king.

The king says, HUH?

The king laughs and hugs Pearl.

Gadabout and the dog look at each other.

(The dog barks)

Gadabout looks frightened and bumps into Zog.

(Zog roars at the dog)

The dog runs away whimpering. Gadabout smiles at Zog.

Gadabout says, AW.

Pearl puts her doctor’s bag onto Zog’s back. She and Gadabout climb onto Zog’s back. The king and Pearl smile at each other.

The narrator says, THEN OFF INTO THE SUNSET SPED
THE FLYING DOCTOR CREW.

(Zog, Gadabout and Pearl laugh)

Zog flies toward the sunset on the horizon.

(Triumphant orchestral music plays)
