Singing, JOJO AND GRAN GRAN. TAKE MY HAND AND COME WITH ME
JoJo and Gran Gran walk off hand in hand on a city sidewalk. A person walking a dog waves before being pulled away by the dog.
Singing, ON A JOURNEY THROUGH OUR STREETS WE'LL SAY HELLO TO EVERYBODY THAT WE MEET.
It is raining and JoJo and Gran Gran hold umbrellas and wear raincoats. JoJo jumps in a puddle.
Singing, THROUGH THE YEAR, AS SEASONS CHANGE EXPLORING EVERY DAY TAKE OUR TIME TO STOP AND PLAY.
It is springtime and there are pink blossoms on trees in a park. Butterflies fly up toward the sun. JoJo does a cartwheel on green grass. She rolls down a hill, holding the panda. Gran Gran rolls down after her.
Singing, AND WHEN THE SPRINGTIME BLOSSOM TURN TO SUMMER SUN JOJO LIKES TO GET OUTSIDE GRAN GRAN ALWAYS MAKES IT FUN.
JoJo tosses autumn leaves in the air. It snows and a person on the sidewalk makes a snowman. Gran Gran and JoJo walk by in coats and scarves.
Singing, WHEN THE AUTUMN RAINFALL TURNS TO WINTER SNOW I KNOW A SPECIAL PLACE, A PLACE WHERE WE CAN GO.
It is warmer weather and JoJo wears a light jacket and a backpack. She takes Gran Gran’s hand. Gran Gran opens a front gate to JoJo’s home.
Singing, TAKE MY HAND, WE'RE HEADING HOME WITH JOJO AND GRAN GRAN!

JoJo narrates, IT’S TIME TO SEE A RAINBOW.
Gran Gran narrates, IT WAS A SPRING MORNING, THE BLOSSOM WAS ON THE TREES, THE SUN WAS PEEKING THROUGH THE CLOUDS! AND JOJO AND GRAN GRAN, THAT'S ME, WERE PLAYING ON THE SWINGS IN THE PARK.
Gran Gran pushes JoJo on a swing.
Gran Gran says, THAT'S IT, JOJO, YOU'VE GOT IT!
JoJo says, I'M GOING AS HIGH AS THE CLOUDS, GRAN GRAN!
JoJo cries, WHEEE!
JoJo’s stuffed panda sits on another swing.
JoJo says, YOU HAVE TO KICK YOUR FEET, PANDA, LIKE THIS!
JoJo says, WHEE-HEE!
Dark clouds are in the sky.
JoJo says, OH.
Gran Gran says, OH, I THINK IT'S GOING TO RAIN! AH, AND I HAVEN'T BROUGHT MY UMBRELLA.
Drops of rain begin to fall.
JoJo sighs, AWW...
Gran Gran says, IT'S TIME TO GET A WIGGLE ON, JOJO. RACE YOU TO THE BANDSTAND!
JoJo grabs Panda.
JoJo says, COME ON, PANDA!
She and Gran Gran run. People in the park raise umbrellas.
Gran Gran and JoJo run across the bridge over the pond.
JoJo cries, WE'RE WINNING!
They run through the park.
Gran Gran says, I'M CATCHING UP!
They run to the covered bandstand in the park.
(Gran Gran panting)
JoJo shouts, YAY, WE DID IT!
Gran Gran says, WELL DONE, YOU TWO. AH.
JoJo says, WE SHOULD HAVE CHECKED THE WEATHER FORECAST, GRAN GRAN.
Gran Gran says, WELL, HOPEFULLY IT WON'T RAIN FOR LONG. I CAN ALREADY THE SUN PEEKING THROUGH THE CLOUDS.
JoJo says, LOOK, GRAN GRAN! IT'S A RAINBOW!
A rainbow stretches over the park.
Two live action children sit side by side.
A brown-haired child says, WHEN IT RAINS, THE RAINBOW COME OUT, AND IF YOU WANT TO GO TO THE RAINBOW, YOU CAN'T GO TO IT, BECAUSE IF YOU WALK, THE RAINBOW WALKS AS WELL.
Two different children sit outside.
A child in a blue hat says, A RAINBOW IS LIKE A SEMI- CIRCLE IN THE SKY.
Two other children make shapes with their hands.
A black-haired child says, THIS IS THE SHAPE OF THE RAINBOW.
A child in a grey t-shirt says, A RAINBOW IS VERY COLOURFUL.
A child in a pink dress says, A RAINBOW IS A BIT LIKE A VERY, VERY COLOURFUL BRIDGE. BUT YOU CAN'T GO OVER IT.
A child with glasses says, AND THAT'S WHY IT'S NOT A BRIDGE.
The child in the pink dress says, YEAH.
Gran Gran and JoJo sit at a table at the café in the park. They look at a tablet.
JoJo says, OOH! I WISH I COULD SEE RAINBOWS EVERY DAY, GRAN GRAN.
Gran Gran says, OH, ME TOO, JOJO. BUT THAT'S WHAT MAKES RAINBOWS SPECIAL. WE CAN ONLY SEE THEM WHEN IT'S RAINY AND SUNNY AT THE SAME TIME. WHICH ISN'T VERY OFTEN.
JoJo looks at a picture of herself standing in front of the rainbow.
JoJo says, HMM. IT LOOKS A BIT LIKE A BRIDGE.
Gran Gran says, IT DOES, DOESN'T IT? A VERY COLOURFUL BRIDGE.
JoJo says, HMM, HOW MANY COLOURS ARE IN THE RAINBOW, GRAN GRAN?
Gran Gran says, WELL, MOST PEOPLE SAY THERE ARE SEVEN COLOURS IN A RAINBOW. RED, ORANGE, YELLOW, GREEN, BLUE, INDIGO, AND VIOLET.
JoJo asks, INDIGO AND VIOLET?
Gran Gran says, INDIGO IS A REALLY DARK BLUE. AND VIOLET IS THE PURPLE BIT.
JoJo says, OH. LIKE PANDA!
Gran Gran says, LIKE PANDA. YOU KNOW, JOJO, IF YOU LOOK CLOSELY, YOU CAN SEE THE COLOURS OF THE RAINBOW ALL AROUND US.
Gran Gran and JoJo stan in the playground. Gran Gran points to the red covering on top of the slide.
JoJo cries, YAY!
Gran Gran says, RED!
They walk past flowers and bend down by orange tulips.
Gran Gran says, ORANGE.
Gran Gran and JoJo walk along a sidewalk. JoJo looks at a passing yellow car.
JoJo shouts, YELLOW!
Gran Gran waves to a man walking a dog.
Gran Gran says, HI, NED.
Gran Gran and JoJo look in a store window. Inside, a person scoops green ice cream.
JoJo says, GREEN.
Gran Gran points at a sign above a dentist’s office. They look at a mural on a wall.
Gran Gran says, BLUE! INDIGO AND VIOLET TOO.
JoJo says, VIOLET IS THE PURPLE BIT, PANDA.
JoJo stands inside at Gran Gran’s house and looks out a window.
JoJo says, AWW.
Gran Gran asks, WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR, JOJO?
JoJo says, I'M LOOKING FOR ANOTHER RAINBOW.
Gran Gran says, AH, I DON'T THINK WE'LL SEE ANOTHER RAINBOW TODAY. REMEMBER, WE ONLY SEE RAINBOWS WHEN IT'S RAINY AND SUNNY AT THE SAME TIME.
JoJo asks, WHY?
Gran Gran touches the screen of the tablet.
Gran Gran says, WELL, LOOK, I'LL SHOW YOU. WHEN SUNLIGHT HITS RAINDROPS IN JUST THE RIGHT WAY, IT CREATES A COLOURFUL RAINBOW IN THE SKY. WE DON'T SEE RAINBOWS VERY OFTEN, BUT THAT'S WHAT MAKES THEM SPECIAL.
JoJo says, I HOPE WE SEE ANOTHER RAINBOW SOON, PANDA.
Gran Gran says, HMM. JOJO, I THINK IT'S TIME FOR A GRAN GRAN PLAN! WE MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO SEE A RAINBOW IN THE SKY, BUT WE CAN MAKE OUR OWN INDOOR RAINBOW USING THE COLOURS ALL AROUND US.
JoJo sits at the kitchen table. She looks at a picture of the rainbow on the tablet.
JoJo says, HMM... THIS DOESN'T LOOK LIKE A RAINBOW, GRAN GRAN.
Gran Gran says, WE'VE ONLY JUST STARTED. CAN YOU REMEMBER THE NAMES OF THE RAINBOW COLOURS?
JoJo says, YES!
Gran Gran sets an empty laundry basket on the floor. JoJo puts a red bus in the basket.
JoJo says, RED.
JoJo wears orange slippers.
JoJo says, ORANGE!
JoJo puts yellow soap in the basket.
JoJo says, OOPS! YELLOW.
Gran Gran adds towels.
Gran Gran says, GREEN!
JoJo pulls a blue sock out from under a bed.
JoJo cries, BLUE!
Gran Gran picks up a scrub brush.
Gran Gran says, INDIGO.
JoJo picks up her purple panda.
JoJo says, AND VIOLET TOO.
The objects are on the kitchen table. They are arranged like a rainbow.
JoJo says, WE FOUND ALL THE COLOURS, GRAN GRAN!
Gran Gran says, AND WE'VE TURNED THEM INTO A COLOURFUL INDOOR RAINBOW.
JoJo says, I LOVE IT!
A live action child with long brown-hair points to colours on a ball.
The brown-haired child says, BLUE, PINK, VIOLET. WE'RE GOING TO MAKE A RAINBOW USING COLOURFUL THINGS FROM AROUND THE HOUSE.
An adult with blonde hair says, SHALL WE GO GET SOME THINGS?
The brown-haired child says, YEAH! MANY PEOPLE SAY THERE ARE SEVEN COLOURS IN THE RAINBOW. RED.
The blonde-haired adult says, I CAN SEE SOME THINGS WE CAN USE.

The objects are arranged on the grass to form a rainbow.
The brown-haired child says, DUCKS.
The brown-haired child blows a purple pinwheel.
The brown-haired child says, YEAH, I'LL PUT THAT THERE. ALL DONE! WOW. MY RAINBOW LOOKS SO COLOURFUL.
Gran Gran and JoJo look at the colourful objects on the kitchen table.
JoJo asks, CAN WE KEEP OUR RAINBOW UNTIL TOMORROW, GRAN GRAN?
Gran Gran says, OH, WHERE WILL I EAT MY DINNER?
JoJo says, OH, YES!
JoJo says, IT'S A BIT LIKE A REAL RAINBOW, GRAN GRAN. IT WON'T BE HERE FOR A LONG TIME BUT THAT'S WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL.
Gran Gran says, AH-HAH.
She picks JoJo up and hugs her.
JoJo says, I LOVE YOU, GRAN GRAN.
Gran Gran says, OH, I LOVE YOU TOO, JOJO.
