[train whistle blowing]

A black train chug along through the countryside and a song begins.

It goes WOO, WOO!
HOW MUCH, HOW MANY
HOW MUCH, HOW MANY
HOW MUCH ARE THEY,
HOW MANY ARE WE
THESE ARE QUESTIONS
OF QUANTITY
LET'S ALL HAVE
FUN AS I EXPLAIN

A conductor in her twenties with short brown hair under a pink hat wearing a pink shirt with numbers says ALL ABOARD!

The song continues THE QUANTITY TRAIN
HOW MANY, HOW MUCH
[train whistle blowing]

A black train chugs through the countryside and the title reads "The Quantity Train."

The conductor walks through the cabin and says TICKETS!
TICKETS!
I'M CHECKING TICKETS!
HELLO, MY FURRY
LITTLE FRIENDS.
MAY I PLEASE SEE
YOUR TICKETS?

The four animals sit in the cabin.

A bear says I'VE GOT THEM
HERE SOMEWHERE.
OH, HERE THEY ARE.
THESE ARE THE TICKETS
FOR OUR WHOLE GROUP.

She counts the tickets and says LET'S COUNT.
ONE, TWO, THREE,
FOUR, FIVE.
FIVE TICKETS!
AND NOW THERE SHOULD
BE ONE TICKET
FOR EACH PASSENGER.
SO, I WILL COUNT
THE PASSENGERS
TO SEE HOW MANY
THERE ARE.
LET'S COUNT!

They all get together and say OKAY, EVERYBODY,
GET CLOSE TOGETHER.
[groaning]

The bear says READY FOR COUNTING.

The conductor says ONE, TWO, THREE,
FOUR,
OH, BROCCOLI.
THERE ARE ONLY
FOUR PASSENGERS,
BUT THERE ARE
FIVE TICKETS.

Marvin the skunk says THAT DIDN'T SEEM RIGHT.

Jay the blue jay says I'M PRETTY SURE THERE
WERE FIVE OF US BEFORE.

The bear says MAYBE WE NEED TO
ALL STAND IN A LINE.

The squirrel says THAT'S A GOOD IDEA.
[all talking at once]

The conductor says LET'S COUNT.
ONE, TWO, THREE,
FOUR,
OH, THERE ARE STILL
ONLY FOUR PASSENGERS.
[sigh]

The squirrel says OH, I KNOW.
LET'S START AT THIS END.
MAYBE THAT'LL HELP.

The conductor says OKAY.
ONE, TWO, THREE,
FOUR,
OH, THERE'S STILL
ONLY FOUR PASSENGERS
AND FIVE TICKETS.
THERE ARE LESS
PASSENGERS THAN TICKETS.

The bear says WELL, WOULD IT
HELP IF THERE WERE
MORE OF US?

The conductor says YES.
YES, MY DARLING.
YOU NEED MORE
PASSENGERS.

The bear says ALRIGHT, THERE NEEDS
TO BE MORE OF US.
EVERYBODY,
SPREAD OUT.

They walk throughout the cabin and the bear says THERE, NOW TRY.

The conductor says OKAY.
ONE, TWO, THREE,
FOUR,
OH, THERE ARE
STILL ONLY FOUR.
YOU SEE, MY DARLINGS,
FOUR PASSENGERS WILL
ALWAYS BE FOUR
PASSENGERS.
IT DOESN'T MATTER IF
YOU'RE CLOSE TOGETHER,
OR FAR APART, IN A
LINE, OR IN A BUNCH,
FOUR WILL
ALWAYS BE FOUR.
UNLESS YOU ADDED
ONE MORE PASSENGER.
THAT'S HOW YOU
WOULD HAVE MORE.

The squirrel says OH, HI GISELE.

The bear says THAT'S IT!
THE OTHER TICKET
IS GISELE'S.

Gisele sits down in the train. She is in her twenties, has long brown hair in a ponytail, and wears a pink dress with an orange shirt.

The conductor says LET'S COUNT.
ONE, TWO, THREE,
FOUR, FIVE.
BRAVO, DARLINGS!
TICKETS!
TICKETS!
I'M CHECKING TICKETS!

Gisele says WHAT WAS THAT
ALL ABOUT?
WE MISSED
YOU, GISELE.
AND IT SEEMS THAT WE ARE
ALL LESS WITHOUT YOU.
AWWW.

The song goes ALL ABOARD!

A white slate displays a caption that reads "tvo kids."
