OUT IN THE SEA
WHERE AN EMPTY SHIP
HAD BLOWN
AND READING HELPED US
SAIL A BOAT

They climb up the old ship.

The song continues BECAUSE WE WERE ALONE

The spirit of a pirate appears behind them.

The animation ends.

Skaggs is a male pirate that wears black trousers, a red and white striped T-shirt and a black and white polka dotted headscarf.

Fibber is a female pirate that wears black trousers, leather boots, a white blouse, a red velvet vest and a red velvet headband.

(GRUNTING)

Fibber and Skaggs pull down the ropes to raise the sail and they fall down on the deck.

(GRUNTING)
(GROANING)

Skaggs says THE ROPES BE BURNING ME ARMS,
FIBBER.

Fibber says WELL GO PLUNDER YOURSELF
A SHIRT WITH SLEEVES, THEN.

Skaggs says MAYBE ME PIRATE HANDBOOK
HAS SOME TIPS.
HERE IT IS, ROPE BURNS.

On the book, the instruction reads "For protection use your wristband."

Skaggs says "FOR PROTECTION,
USE YOUR...
"WORST BAND."

Fibber says "USE YOUR WORST BAND?"

Skaggs says I DON'T KNOW HOW SOUR MUSIC
WILL HELP MY WRIST.

In his room, the spirit of the pirate says I CAN'T CLEAN
WITH ME GHOST BROOM!
OOH... SPIDERS.
(MUSIC BEING PLAYED POORLY)

The spirit says BY DAVY JONES' LOCKER,
WHAT ARE THEY DOING NOW?

On the deck, Fibber makes music by blowing in a shell and Skaggs play a fishing road.

The spirit shows his head in the deck and says NARR, NARR, NARR!

Fibber says AHH! OUR MUSIC DONE
CONJURED UP A DEMON HEAD!

The spirit says I BE NO DEMON HEAD,
BUT THAT NOISE YOU'RE MAKING,
WHOA, THAT COULD SURELY
RAISE THE DEAD.

The spirit appears completely on the deck.

Scared, Skaggs says I'VE GOT SOME ROPE BURNS.
AND IT SAYS HERE
IN MY HANDBOOK,
"FOR YOUR PROTECTION,
USE YOUR WORST BAND."

The spirit says OH, YE SWABS READ IT WRONG.
SOMETIMES, YOU DON'T PRONOUNCE
ALL THE LETTERS IN A WORD.
AND THEY CALL THOSE,
SILENT LETTERS.
SO WHEN A W
IS FOLLOWED BY AN R,
THE W IS OFTEN SILENT.
SO IT'S NOT,
"USE YOUR WORST BANDS."
BUT RATHER, "FOR PROTECTION,
USE YOUR WRISTBANDS."

Skaggs says OH, THAT MAKES MORE SENSE.
BUT I DON'T HAVE
ANY WRISTBANDS.

The spirit says WELL YOU KNOW,
I'VE BEEN CARRYING THIS ONE
AROUND FOR FAR
TOO MANY YEARS.
I KNOW YOU'LL TAKE
GOOD CARE OF THIS,
IT'S GIVEN ME A LOT OF
PROTECTION OVER THE YEARS.

Skaggs can’t get hold of the spirit’s wristband.

The spirit says THERE YE GO.
NOW GO ON,
TAKE IT, LAD.

Skaggs says JUST WAIT A MINUTE.

The spirit says WHAT ARE YE FIDDLING
ABOUT THERE, HERE!

The word "Wrong" appears in green on the screen.

Fibber sighs.

The spirit says TAKE IT.

The wristband falls on the deck.

The spirit says OH.
WELL, THAT'S THE SADDEST THING
I DONE SEEN ALL DAY.

(music plays)
