SAIL A BOAT

They climb up the old ship.

The song continues BECAUSE WE WERE ALONE

The spirit of a pirate appears behind them.

The animation ends.

Skaggs is a male pirate that wears black trousers, a red and white striped T-shirt and a black and white polka dotted headscarf.

Fibber is a female pirate that wears black trousers, leather boots, a white blouse, a red velvet vest and a red velvet headband.

Fibber and Skaggs lie on the spirit’s bed.

Fibber says THAT BE CLEVER OF YOU
TO FIND
THE CAPTAIN'S JOURNALS,
SKAGGS.
DID YOU FIND OUT
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE CREW YET?

Skaggs says NOT YET, STILL ALL HEART,
TACK, AND BARNACLES.

Fibber says PERHAPS IT BE RIGHT
AT THE END.

Skaggs says WELL, I DOUBT IT WOULD BE
AFTER THE END.
(LAUGHING)

Skaggs says OH, OH OH OH OH!

He reads a note that says "Losing me crew to the pirate-eating crabs."

He says "LOSING ME CREW
"TO THE PIRATE-EATING CRABS."

Fibber says BLIMEY, DO YA THINK THERE WAS
A PIRATE WHO ATE CRABS
THAT TOOK THE CREW?

Skaggs says BUT THAT DOESN'T EXPLAIN
THE SKELETONS.

Skaggs sees the spirit of the pirate and says OH, I WONDER IF THAT PIRATE
BE EATING CRABS.
HELLO!
BOOKANEER!
YOU BE EATING CRABS?

The spirit says OH, YE BILGE RATS!
DID YE MENTION CRABS?

Skaggs says AYE, AYE.
WE WONDERED IF YE BE
THE PIRATE THAT EATS THEM.

The spirit says OH, NO, I NEVER EAT THEM
DRUDGY SEA BUGS.
NOT AFTER WHAT HAPPENED
ON THIS BOAT.

Fibber says DID THE PIRATE WHO ATE THE CRABS
TAKE THE CREW?

The spirit says PIRATE WHO ATE CRABS?
WHAT ARE YOU BLATHERING ABOUT?
ARE YE NAIVES?
THERE BE A HYPHEN BETWEEN
THE WORDS "PIRATE" AND "EATING.
IT ACTS AS A LINK
TO LET THE READER KNOW
THAT THEY SHOULD BE
SAID AS ONE.
SO IT'S NOT,
"LOSING ME CREW
"TO THE PIRATE,
EATING CRABS."
BUT RATHER,
"LOSING ME CREW
"TO THE PIRATE-EATING CRABS."

Fibber says PIRATE-EATING CRABS?

The spirit says AYE.
THE SCOURGE ATE
MY ENTIRE CREW!

Fibber says PIRATE-EATING CRABS?
BUT I DON'T WANT TO BE EATEN!

The spirit says RELAX, LASSIE.
'TWAS A LONG TIME AGO.
NO DOUBT THEM CRABS
BE GHOSTS BY NOW.

Skaggs says WAIT, SO DO GHOST-CRABS
EAT GHOST-PIRATES?
(DRAMATIC MUSIC PLAYING)

The spirit starts dancing on the bed and says I DON'T KNOW,
I'VE NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT IT,
BUT IT COULD BE.
(WHIMPERING)

Fibber and Skaggs start dancing with him.

The spirit says WAIT, WHO'S GONNA STEER THE SHIP
IF WE'RE HERE
DANCING ON THE BED?

(music plays)
