Now she and Cookie prepare some food in the Docville Inn kitchen, as Ranger Dalmar narrates.

ALWAYS LOOKING
FOR NEW RECIPES FOR
THE DOCVILLE INN,
SO RANGER KARA
PROMISED TO SHOW HIM
HOW TO MAKE HER WORLD
FAMOUS CHOCOLATE MOUSSE.

Ranger Drew says BY CHOCOLATE MOOSE,

Ranger Dalmar says NO, I MEAN A MOUSSE THAT'S
MADE OUT OF CHOCOLATE.

Ranger Drew looks confused and says YA LOST ME.

MOOSE AND MOUSSE
ARE HOMOPHONES.

THAT SOUND THE SAME

MAKING A CHOCOLATE MOUSSE

In the kitchen, Cookie stares at a liquid chocolate mixture and says IS IT SUPPOSED TO
LOOK LIKE THAT?!

Ranger Kara says NO, IT'S SUPPOSED TO
BE GETTING THICK,
NOT ALL RUNNY AND
LOOSE LIKE THAT.

Cookie says ARE YOU SAYING MY
MOUSSE IS LOOSE?!

Ranger Kara says YEAH.

They both laugh.

Ranger Dalmar continues COOKIE WAS TRYING TO MAKE
LIGHT OF A BAD SITUATION
BUT THERE WAS A NEWSPAPER
REPORTER IN THE DOCVILLE INN
WHO OVERHEARD HIM AND
MISUNDERSTOOD.

A reporter wearing a gray three-piece suit sits at a nearby table.

Cookie says MY MOUSSE
IS LOOSE!
MOUSSE ON
THE LOOSE!

The reporter says MOOSE ON
THE LOOSE?
I'D BETTER CALL
THIS IN.

He hurries away.
(music plays)

Now the front page of a newspaper shows a picture of a moose, the animal, and reads “Moose on the loose.”

A newspaper boy calls EXTREE, EXTREE, MOOSE
ON THE LOOSE!

Ranger Dalmar says SOON, PEOPLE WERE BLAMING
ALL SORTS OF THINGS
ON THE MOOSE ON
THE LOOSE.

A farmer says THAT LOOSE MOOSE
IS CRAZY!
IT BROKE ALL MY
HENS' EGGS!

A little girls says I DIDN'T DO MY
HOMEWORK 'CAUSE...
LOOSE MOOSE ATE IT.

Ranger Dalmar continues SO MANY THINGS
WERE BEING BLAMED
ON THIS MAKE-BELIEVE
MOOSE,
THAT THE MAYOR GOT
INVOLVED.

Mayor McNab sits in her room reading the newspaper.

She puts it down as she frowns, and says THAT MOOSE IS
A PROBLEM.
PINKY, I WANT YOU
TO FIND THAT MOOSE
AND BRING IT
TO ME.

Pinky says YEAH.

Mayor McNab says NOW.
DOES SHE MEAN

Pinky says Did she mean MOOSE OR MOUSSE?

Ranger Dalmar says PINKY ONLY KNEW ONE
PLACE TO FIND A MOUSSE
AND THAT WAS AT
THE DOCVILLE INN.

At the Inn, Ranger Kara shows Cookie a spoonful of chocolate mousse, and says SEE, NOW THIS MOUSSE
IS NICE AND THICK.

Cookie says WELL, ARE YOU
SAYIN' MY MOUSSE
IS NO LONGER
LOOSE?

Ranger Kara says YOU BETCHA.

Cookie yells YA-HAA!

He does a victory dance.

Pinky pops up and says YOUR MOUSSE IS NO
LONGER LOOSE?

Cookie says THAT'S RIGHT.

Pinky stares at the chocolate mousse and says I NEED THIS FOR
THE MAYOR.

He grabs it and leaves.

Cookie says MY HONOUR!
(music plays)

Later, Pinky brings the mousse to the Mayor.

She says WHAT'S THIS?
CHOCOLATE MOUSSE
NO LONGER LOOSE
AND QUITE RICH
AND CREAMY,
BY THE LOOKS
OF IT.

Mayor McNab says NO, I DIDN'T MEAN
THIS KIND OF MOUSSE.
I MEANT THE
OTHER KIND.
YOU KNOW, THE ONE
WITH THE HORNS.

Pinky says I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING
ABOUT THAT KIND OF MOOSE
BEING LOOSE,
BUT I DO KNOW
THAT THIS MOUSSE
WAS LOOSE
BUT NOW IT'S
NICE AND THICK.
(music plays)

Mayor McNab tries the mousse and says HMM, MY GOODNESS,
THAT'S GOOD!
HAVE YOU TRIED
THIS?

Pinky says WELL, ACTUALLY
I'D LIKE TO-

She snatches it away and says NO, NO, NO, NO!
HANDS OFF MY
EQUIPMENT.
I'M EATING ALL
OF THIS.

Pinky says OH, OKAY.

Back by the campfire, Ranger Dalmar says SOON, THE TOWN AND
THE MAYOR HAD FORGOTTEN
ALL ABOUT THE
IMAGINARY MOOSE
THAT WAS CREATING
ALL THE TROUBLE.
BUT PEOPLE STILL HAD
MOUSSE ON THE MIND,
THOUGH, BECAUSE RANGER
KARA'S CHOCOLATE MOUSSE
SALES WENT THROUGH
THE ROOF.
