After learning that most plants always grow up towards the sky, the kids piece together the clues and discover that this plant spent some time on its side, and then some time right side up, resulting in the zig-zap pattern! The kids love the shape of this plant, and name it "the Zig Zag Plant. ---- Insect Day is coming up at school and Elinor couldn't be more thrilled to finish her home-made butterfly costume. However, she quickly runs into a problem because she can't drink anything when her hands are busy being the wings in her costume! Elinor sets out to solve the problem with her Dad by learning how real butterflies drink. After some careful watching, she realizes that a butterfly doesn't even have a mouth but a proboscis, which looks like a long straw, and that's how they drink nectar from a flower! This gives Elinor the idea to add a super long drinking straw to complete her costume.

Red's friends are so pleased with Red's tour, that they re-colour her bus into different colours to show their appreciation for their friend.

One day the kittens are watching a show about a brave explorer climbing mountains. Overcoming all difficulties, he has conquered the peak and planted his flag on top! Cookie decides that he wants to become a mountain explorer too! He wants to start training and carry a heavy backpack just like the brave explorers do. Pudding helps him find Daddy's hiking backpack and the kittens fill it up until it becomes really heavy. The kittens head to the playground and Cookie is able to handle all the obstacles there so he needs an even bigger challenge. The kittens head home so Cookie can try to climb the stairs to the attic. The kittens learn that it is best to exercise slow and steady and take your time getting to the top of the mountain!

And before the All-Round Championship Belt is awarded, Gymnastics is revealed as the featured sport and Carter is deemed the last Sport Leader and will have to train his fellow athletes for the competition in just three days. An ARC fan favorite returns and so is the Advantage this week, but only Sierra is excited for it. With the Leaderboard as close as it is, the pressure on the athletes to perform is paramount. They are put through a rigorous training regime to prepare them for a routine on the uneven bars in the Competition.
