Riley is having a bad day. All kinds of little things have gone wrong and she's feeling down. Theo and Alex try to cheer her up by getting on with what Megablast does best - write music! But even that hits snags. It all leaves Megablast wondering, are bad days contagious? Meanwhile Kaboom has a new invention that can make anyone spill the beans. His diabolical plan: to use it on Rocket, Thunder and Metallix to make them reveal the secret source of their powers so he can destroy it and never be foiled by them again. When it works and they tell all to Kaboom it seems our heroes' bad day just got a whole lot worse - until they turn it around with a positive attitude, a song and a little help from Greenville's real genius inventor, Aunt Jenny.
