(Happy music plays)

An animation shows traffic travelling through a city. People are gathered outside houses and a pizza parlour. A pink school bus scatters stars as it passes by a grassy hill.

Text reads, “TVO kids and ABC presents”.

Children and their pets run to the hill and climb onto the title which they read, BIG WORDS, SMALL STORIES.

A person reads the episode title.

They reads, TWIN TROUBLE.

Text reads, written by Anne-Marie Perrotta. Orange cat Crat adds a block to a building made of blocks.

Owner Chris says, TWO DAYS OF HARD WORK
BUT IT'S PERFECT.

Cris and Crat high-five. Chris’s twin sisters Chrissy and Christy startle the friends when they barge in with a blanket. Chrissy wears a pink bow and Christy wears a red bow.

Chrissy says, THIS IS TOO HEAVY FOR OUR FORT.

Christy says, IT KEEPS FALLING!

The twin sisters groan and toss the blanket at Cris and Crat, who gasp. In slow motion, Cris and Crat watch the blanket fly over them.

They both say, NO!

The blanket lands on the block building, knocking it over.

Cris and Crat say, HEY!

They look angrily at Chrissy and Christy.

The twins say, HMPH!

They turn and leave.

Crat asks, WHAT'S UP WITH
CHRISSY AND CHRISTY?

Cris shrugs. They sit at a table with bowls of cereal. Cris’s mom places drinks in front of them.

Chrissy says, THIS CEREAL IS BROKEN!

Christy says, THEY SHOULD BE O'S, NOT U'S!

She takes a piece of cereal from her bowl.

Together, the twins say, WE CAN'T EAT THIS! UGH!

Christy throws her piece of cereal back in her bowl. Cris’s parents, Cris and Crat look shocked.

The kids dad says, CHRISSY? CHRISTY?
DARLINGS, IS SOMETHING WRONG?

Mom scratches her arm nervously.

Dad says, YOU DON'T SEEM
LIKE YOURSELVES TODAY.

The twins groan.

They say, UGH! NOTHING'S WRONG!

They leave the table.

Cris says, I DON'T KNOW
WHAT'S GOING ON TODAY
BUT THE TWINS ARE SO... SO...

Two Candy-like creatures, Sprinkle Fairy’s helpers, Sprinklers, peak out from behind table legs. They hide again.

Cris says, …CANTANKEROUS!

(Celebratory music plays)

More Sprinklers pop up.

The Sprinklers cheer, CANTANKEROUS!

A pink double decker bus drives by. Sprinkle Fairy appears with her star wand.

She says, CANTANKEROUS MEANS TO BE
IN A GRUMPY MOOD
AND WANT TO ARGUE ALL THE TIME!
YOU KNOW, LIKE THE WAY
CHRISSY AND CHRISTY
ARE NOT FUN
TO BE AROUND RIGHT NOW.

Sprinkle Fairy joins Cris and Crat.

Crat asks, COULD WE HANG OUT
WITH YOU TODAY?

Sprinkle Fairy says, OH, SORRY!
I PROMISED I'D PICK UP
SOME HUNGRY ANTS
AND DRIVE THEM TO A PICNIC.
TOODLES!

Sprinkle Fairy waves and flies away.

Mom says, IT MIGHT BE BEST
TO GIVE THE TWINS SOME SPACE
UNTIL THEY FEEL
LESS CANTANKEROUS.
SOMETIMES THAT HELPS.

(Clattering)

Chrissy says, WHO PUT THIS
UMBRELLA STAND RIGHT IN OUR WAY?

Mom and Dad cringe.

Chrissy and Christy say, UGH!

Mom and Dad say, OH!

They run out of the room.

Cris says, AH!

He and Crat run out of the room. A yellow Sprinkler and a pink Sprinkler peak out from behind a stack of plates. They duck back behind the plates as an orange Sprinkler walks past angerily. The two hiding Sprinklers run out from behind the plates and away from the angry Sprinkler. Back in Cris’s bedroom, Cris and Crat read on a bench. Chrissy and Christy barge in, Cris and Crat gasp.

The twins demand, WHERE'S THE ROBOT BOOK?

Cris hops off the bench and pulls out a book from a bookshelf. He hands it to Christy. The twins open the book together and gasp. The corner of a book page is bent.

Chrissy says, WE CAN'T READ PAGES...

Christy closes the book.

She says, ..THAT ARE BENT!

She shoves the book back to Cris.

The twins groan, UGH!

They leave. Crat joins Cris and they cringe. The yellow Sprinkler watches the pink Sprinkler put a flag atop a small building made of blocks. The orange Sprinkler drives through the building in a toy car, knocking it over. Outside, Crat watches Cris jump on a trampoline while Grandpa Rex gardens.

Chris cheers, WOO-HOO!

He giggles. Chrissy and Christy walk outside.

Cris says, HEY CRAT,
CHECK THIS ONE OUT!

Christy puts a robot on a pathway. Chrissy holds a remote.

Cris cheers, YEAH!

Chrissy presses a button on the remote but nothing happens.

She says, WHY IS THIS REMOTE...

Christy says, ..STICKING?!

The twins groan, UGH!

Grandpa Rex quietly asks, WHY ARE THE TWINS
SO CANTANKEROUS?

Crat says, BEATS US!

Crat shrugs. The twins leave. He and Cris enter Delilah’s home.

Cris says, THANKS FOR LETTING US HIDE.

Chrissy says, UGH, IT'S TOO SCRATCHY!

Crissy and Christy wear dresses.

Christy says, UGH! THE WRONG COLOR!

The twins pull off the dresses, leaving their regular matching clothes, and leave.

Delilah says, TIS A CANTANKEROUS KIND OF DAY,
METHINKS!

Crat says, WE'RE GIVING THEM SPACE.

Delilah says, POOR CHICKENS.
WHEN I'M FEELING LIKE THAT,
I LIKE TO BE CARED FOR.

Cris asks, WHAT CAN WE DO? IT DOESN'T LOOK
LIKE THEY'RE HAVING MUCH FUN.

Delilah says, MAYBE OFFER A CUP OF TEA?
A FUNNY JOKE?
OR A BEAUTIFUL DANCE!

Delilah prances past Crat and Cris.

Cris says, ANYTHING TO MAKE THEM
STOP BEING CANTANKEROUS.

Delilah prances behind Crat and Cris.

Crat says, OR WE COULD MOVE IN HERE!

Cris and Crat watch Delilah prance around as they leave. Back home, Chrissy and Christy read a book together up upside down on a couch. Cris and Crat walk up to them with drinks.

Cris asks, WOULD YOU LIKE A SMOOTHIE?

The twins say, NMM-HMM.

They shake their heads. Cris and Crat leave with the smoothies. They return with pillows.

Crat says, NEED SOME PILLOWS?
SUPER COMFY!

The twins say, NMM-HMM.

They shake their heads. Cris and Crat leave with the pillows. Crat places a banana peel on the rug in front of the twins.

He says, HEY, CRIS!
COME OVER HERE!

Cris says, DON'T MIND IF I DO!

Cris walks toward the banana peel on the rug.

He says, OH, WHAT'S THIS?
A BANANA PEEL?

The twins lower their book.

They say, HMM.

Cris steps and slides on the banana peel.

He says, WHOOOAAA!

Cris waves his arms as he slides around the room on the banana peel. He lands in a chair. He looks up with a smile, but frowns when he sees his sisters standing and frowning. The sisters let out unimpressed grunts and leave. Cris sighs.

He says, LET'S FACE IT -
THEY'RE CANTANKEROUS
AND NOTHING’S GOING TO MAKE THEM
FEEL BETTER.

The yellow and pink Sprinkler pant as they run up to the orange Sprinkler with a flower. The orange Sprinkler looks at them and smiles. The orange Sprinkler accepts the flower and runs off with the pink and yellow Sprinklers.

Cris slouches in his chair. He gasps and groans. He sits up in the chair and pulls hair clips out from behind him.

He says, HUH?! WHAT ARE HAIR CLIPS
DOING IN HERE?

Chrissy and Christy rush back and gasp in delight.

They say, YOU FOUND THEM!

Cris offers his sisters the hair clips. The twins let out content sighs. They close their eyes and clap. Chrissy takes the clips from Cris. Christy removes her and Chrissy’s bows. Chrissy puts the clips in her and her sister’s hair.

Chrissy says, WE COULDN'T FIND THEM
THIS MORNING!

Cris asks, IS THAT WHY YOU WERE
SO CANTANKEROUS TODAY?
BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T HAVE THEM?

The twins look confused. Cris climbs out of the chair.

Chrissy asks, WERE WE?

Christy smiles sheepishly and scratches the back of her head.

Chrissy says, WELL, MAYBE A LITTLE.

Christy says, BUT NOW WE HAVE THE RIGHT
HAIR CLIPS. ALL'S WELL AGAIN!

The twins hug their brother.

They cheer, YAY!

Chrissy says, TO THANK YOU, WE'LL MAKE
YOUR FAVORITE FRUIT SMOOTHIE!

Christy says, AND MAYBE YOU CAN DO
THAT SLIPPY THING AGAIN?
WITH THE BANANA PEEL?

The twins smile and start to leave.

They say, SO FUNNY!

Cris glances at Crat. They shrug and grunt indifferently before following the twins.
