It is nighttime. A full moon hangs over a volcano with softly glowing rivulets of lava running down its sides.

(Snoring)

Ginger, the orange dinosaur, lies on a pile of leaves. The three tiny Pea-rexes sleep nearby on a rock.

The narrator says, DURING A FULL MOON, BABY PEA-REXES ENTER A DEEP SLEEP AS PART OF THEIR GROWTH CYCLE.

(Snoring loudly)

Ginger whispers, MINTY, SHH.

(Minty snoring)

Ginger says, UGH, I'M TRYING TO SLEEP.

She closes her eyes.

(Snoring and whistling)

Ginger’s pop open.

Ginger asks, HUH?

(Snoring)

Ginger says, NO.

She uses her long bushy green tail to roll Split over. The snoring stops.

(Ginger sighing)

Ginger says, FINALLY.

(Wasabi snoring and muttering)

Ginger stands and uses her tail to flick a pebble at Wasabi.

(Ginger grunting)

Wasabi rolls over.

(Murmuring)

(Ginger sighing)

Ginger lies back down.

The narrator says, TO FUNCTION PROPERLY, YOUNG TRICARROTOPS NEED 10 HOURS OF UNINTERRUPTED SLEEP.

Ginger opens her eyes.

(Gasping)

All three Pea-rexes are snoring.

(Groaning loudly)

Ginger stands.

Ginger says, THAT'S IT.

She uses her front legs to dig in the sandy ground. As she digs the Pea-rexes get up and walk off.

Ginger says, WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO BURY MY HEAD TO GET SOME SLEEP, HUH? NO FAIR! WE HAVE A BIG DAY TOMORROW, AND IF I'M GRUMPY, WELL, DON'T BLAME ME. BLAME YOU.

Ginger turns.

(Gasping)

(Snoring)

Ginger calls, HEY, COME BACK! LOOK, I DIDN'T MEAN WHAT I SAID, OKAY?

(Snoring)

The Pea-rexes walk with their eyes closed.

Ginger says, UGH, GREAT. FIRST SNORING, NOW SLEEPWALKING? SERIOUSLY? WAKE UP. YOU CAN'T WANDER AROUND ALL NIGHT LIKE THIS. WAKE UP!

(Snoring)

The narrator says, THANKS TO THEIR HIGH ENERGY RESERVES, BABY PEA-REXES CAN SLEEPWALK FOR UP TO SIX HOURS.

(Groaning)

(Pea-rexes snoring)

Ginger follows the Pea-rexes.

Ginger asks, HEY, WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING? WASABI, YOU'RE GOING TO HIT THE TREE!

The Pea-rexes walk in different directions.

(Gasping)

Ginger calls, SPLIT, THAT'S A NO-GO ZONE! MINTY, NO!

Ginger runs as Minty walk on top of a large rock.

(Panting)

Ginger dives as Minty nears the edge.

(Grunting)

Minty turns away from the edge and Ginger lands in a pool of water.

(Splashing)

(Snoring)

Wasabi bumps into a tree trunk and changes directions.

(Murmuring)

Ginger shakes water off.

(Gasping)

Wasabi walks along a tree branch.

Ginger shouts, WASABI!

(Murmuring)

Wasabi walks toward the end of the branch. Ginger runs as Wasabi falls.

(Panting)

(Music playing)

Ginger leaps into the air and catches Wasabi in her mouth. She lands against the tree trunk.

(Grunting)

Ginger says around Wasabi, OW. RIGHT, YOU'RE STAYING IN THERE. HEY! STOP SLEEPWALKING IN MY MOUTH! THAT TICKLES! STOP IT!

(Ginger laughing)

Wasabi tumbles out of Ginger’s mouth and runs off.

(Murmuring)

Ginger calls, HEY!

The narrator says, ON RARE OCCASIONS, BABY PEA-REXES SLEEP-RUN, TOO.

Ginger follows Wasabi.

Ginger says, YOU KNOW, OUT OF 10, THIS NIGHT IS, LIKE, A ONE, TOPS. SPLIT, WASABI, MINTY! WHERE ARE YOU?

(Split laughing)

Ginger comes to a stop and stares. Split stands among a group of Cucumberdiles. The crocodile-like creatures are sleeping.

Ginger says, HUH? SPLIT!

(Gasping)

The narrator says, BABY PEA-REXES OFTEN TALK IN THEIR SLEEP, TOO.

(Murmuring)

Ginger whispers, SPLIT! SPLIT! YOU'RE GOING TO WAKE THEM.

(Murmuring)

Ginger picks her way around the Cucumberdiles. Wasabi and Minty walk to Split.

(All murmuring)

Ginger steps on a Cucumberdile’s tail. She quickly hops away as it opens its eyes.

(Whimpering)

The Cucumberdile goes back to sleep.

(Murmuring)

The Pea-rexes sleepwalk along a Cucumberdile’s long snout.

(Ginger gasping)

A Cucumberdile opens its mouth.

The narrator says, THIS CUCUMBERDILE HAS FOUND A NIGHTTIME SNACK.

The Pea-rexes walk toward the open mouth.

Ginger says, OH, NO, YOU DON'T. THEY'RE WITH ME.

Ginger charges forward, jumping on Cucumberdiles as she runs.

(Ginger grunting)

She hops from one Cucumberdile to the next. She lands on a Cucumberdile so that the Pea-rexes walk onto her head.

Ginger calls, ALL ABOARD! WHOO-HOO!

The Cucumberdile flings her off. Ginger and the Pea-rexes go flying,

(Grunting)

Ginger lands with the Pea-rexes still on her head. She runs.

(Gasping, panting)

(Music playing)

She runs through the jungle and comes to a stop in a clearing.

Ginger says, NOW, THAT WAS A 10 OUT OF 10.

The narrator says, THE MOVEMENT OF GINGER'S RUNNING HAS LULLED THE BABY PEAS INTO A DEEPER, MORE RESTFUL SLEEP.

Ginger puts the Pea-rexes back on their rock.

Ginger says, SNORE ALL YOU LIKE.

Ginger lies down on her pile of leaves.

Ginger says slowly, I COULD SLEEP THROUGH AN... AN EARTHQUAKE.

(Yawning)

(Pea-rexes chittering)

The Pea-rexes jump up and down. The sky grows lighter.

Ginger says, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE LET ME SLEEP.

(Chattering excitedly)

The Pea-rexes are wide awake.

(Ginger groaning)

The sun rises beyond the volcano.

The narrator says, IT'S GOING TO BE A LONG DAY FOR GINGER.
