An animated cat in a sailor hat sits in a boat on water. A cat in stocking cap is pulled off the ground by a kite.

The narrator continues, HIS BIG BROTHER, PUDDING, AND THEIR LITTLE SISTER, CANDY.

A cat wearing a red bow skips rope. The three cats stand together. More cats appear.

The narrator says, LOTS OF OTHER KITTENS LIVE HERE, TOO. COOKIE, CANDY, AND PUDDING, KID-E-CATS.

A title reads: KID-E-CATS

All say, WE'RE CUTE!

Candy says, BUT I'M CUTER.

All say, ME-WOW!

Episode title: Cheering Up Mustard

The narrator says, CHEERING UP MUSTARD.

The narrator says, ONE DAY, THE KID-E-CATS AND MOMMY WENT TO VISIT MUSTARD.

Mom drives to a large green house.

The narrator says, BUT MUSTARD WAS BUSY. SHE HAD TO SORT AND MATCH A BUNCH OF SOCKS.

Mustard stands outside in a gazebo. She dumps a basket of colourful socks onto a table. She has a blue bow on her head and wears a green dress.

Mustard says, IT'LL TAKE ME ALL DAY TO SORT ALL OF THESE SOCKS.

Mustard’s mother walks over. She is dressed in yellow.

Mustard’s mother says, MUSTARD, DEAR, SOME GUESTS HAVE COME OVER.

Mustard says, WHAT? GUESTS? THEN WHEN AM I SUPPOSED TO DEAL WITH THESE SOCKS?

Mustard puts the socks back in the basket. She kicks the basket under the table.

(Grunting)

The cats say, HELLO THERE, MUSTARD.

Mustard frowns.

Mustard says, HELLO.

Mustard’s mother says, WHY DON'T YOU COME ALONG WITH ME AND LET ME SHOW YOU MY COLLECTION OF PLATES? MEANWHILE, THE KITTENS CAN PLAY IN THE YARD, THEN WE'LL HAVE SOME NICE TEA.

Cookie, Pudding and Candy cry, SO AWESOME!

Kittens singing, ME-WOW, ME-WOW, ME-WOW, ME-WOW!

Mustard glares.

Mustard says, WELL, COME ON, WE CAN SIT IN THE GAZEBO.

The kittens say, HUH?

The narrator says, IT SEEMED LIKE MUSTARD WASN'T FEELING VERY CHEERFUL.

Mustard sits on a bench.

Cookie says, HEY, COME ON, LET'S PLAY CATCH.

Mustard says, OKAY, WHY NOT?

The kittens stand on the grass and toss a red ball back and forth. Mustard misses the ball. It rolls under the table and pushes the basket of socks.

Mustard says, OH?

She runs to the gazebo.

Mustard says, WE COULD BREAK SOMETHING THIS WAY!

She kicks the basket back under the table.

(Grunting)

Mustard says, WE SHOULD STOP PLAYING BALL.

Pudding asks, YOU WANNA PLAY BADMINTON?

Mustard says, NOT REALLY, NO THANKS.

Candy asks, WOULD YOU LIKE TO PLAY WITH MY JUMP ROPE?

Mustard says, I REALLY DON'T WANT TO DO THAT.

Cookie says, I THINK WE SHOULD SING MUSTARD OUR SUPER SPECIAL SONG. IT'LL BE A LOT OF FUN!

(Music playing)

The kittens singing, THREE KITTENS, THREE STRIPED TAILS. THREE STRIPED TAILS. THREE KITTENS. THREE KITTENS!

Mustard says, WHY ONLY THREE KITTENS?! I DON'T COUNT AT ALL?!

Pudding says, UH, I WAS WONDERING, WHEN WILL WE BE HAVING TEA?

Mustard says, HANG ON, I'LL GO ASK MOMMY.

Mustard stomps away.

Cookie asks, WHY DO YOU THINK MUSTARD IS SO GLOOMY TODAY? HUH?

Cookie imagines Mustard turning into a storm cloud. She rains on Cookie and Candy.

(Raining)

Pudding walks over, holding a badminton racket. Lightning strikes it.

(Thunder rumbling)

(All gasping)

The fantasy ends.

Pudding asks, WHAT IF WE ARE THE REASON THAT MUSTARD IS FEELING GLOOMY?

Candy says, I HAVE A REALLY GOOD IDEA. IF WE'RE THE ONES WHO ARE MAKING MUSTARD UPSET, THEN WE NEED TO LEAVE. THEN SHE'LL BE ABLE TO CHEER UP.

Mom and Mustard’s mother stand in a kitchen.

Mom says, MM, WHAT A BEAUTIFUL PLATE.

Mustard walks in.

Mustard asks, MOMMY, WHAT TIME ARE WE GOING TO HAVE TEA?

Mustard’s mother says, WELL, I'LL BE MAKING THE TEA IN A FEW MINUTES. TAKE YOUR FRIENDS SOME COOKIES IN THE MEANTIME.

(Music playing)

Mustard walks outside, carrying a tin of cookies. She looks around. The other kittens are gone.

Mustard says, HM?

Mom looks at a plate.

Mom says, OH, THIS ONE'S QUITE BEAUTIFUL AS WELL.

Candy says, MOMMY?

The kittens stand in the kitchen.

Mom says, HM?

Candy says, WE REALLY NEED TO TELL YOU SOMETHING.

Mustard walks around the gazebo.

Mustard says, HEY, WHERE IS EVERYONE!? OH, NO.

The kittens sit in the car. Mom and Mustard’s mother stand nearby.

Mom says, THE KITTENS ARE WORRIED THAT THEY'VE UPSET MUSTARD, SO THEY WANT ME TO TAKE THEM HOME NOW.

Mustard’s mother says, OH, DEAR, IT'S NOT THE KITTENS. DEAR MUSTARD JUST FEELS SAD NOW AND THEN.

Mustard says, SPEAKING OF FEELING SAD, IF YOU LEAVE AND GO HOME NOW, I'LL FEEL SUPER-DOUBLE-EXTRA SAD.

The kittens get out of the car and run over.

Pudding says, WE THOUGHT WE WERE THE ONES WHO WERE MAKING YOU FEEL SO SAD.

Mustard says, NO, THERE'S JUST A BORING CHORE THAT I DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO FINISH. I'M ALWAYS SAD WHEN THERE'S SOMETHING THAT I HAVE TO DO BUT CAN'T FINISH.

Candy says, OH, MUSTARD, YOU SHOULD HAVE SAID. WE WOULD LOVE TO HELP YOU WITH IT.

The kittens stand with Mustard in the gazebo. The socks are piled on the table.

Mustard says, IT'S A LITTLE BIT WEIRD TO SORT SOCKS WITH YOUR GUESTS.

Cookie says, DON'T WORRY, THIS IS GOING TO BE FUN.

Cookie puts a sock on his hand.

Cookie speaking in a deep voice, I'M A BIG BLACK SOCK, PUT ME IN MY DRAWER.

Candy says, I'M A WHITE SOCK, AND I'M LOOKING FOR MY MATCHING SOCK.

(Laughing)

Pudding puts a purple sock on his hand.

Pudding says, OH, HELLO, HAVE WE MET BEFORE?

Mustard wears another purple sock on her hand.

Mustard says, WE HAVE! WE'RE A PAIR, SILLY.

(All laughing)

Mustard says, I NEVER KNEW THAT SOCKS COULD CHEER YOU UP WHEN YOU FEEL SAD.

Pairs of socks are lined up on the bench.

Pudding says, OH, ONE SOCK DOESN'T HAVE A MATCH, IT'S ALL BY ITSELF.

Cookie says, WAIT, I KNOW WHERE THE OTHER ONE IS.

Cookie runs inside and jumps into a dryer.

(Grunting)

He pulls out a sock.

Cookie speaking in a sock voice, MY LOVE, I'VE BEEN WONDERING WHERE YOU WERE!

Mustard wears the matching sock on her hand.

Mustard speaking in a similar voice, I THOUGHT I WOULD NEVER SEE YOU AGAIN, MY LOVE.

(Both making kissing sounds)

Mustard and Cookie make their sock puppets kiss.

(All laughing)

Mustard’s mother says, MUSTARD DEAR, IT LOOKS LIKE YOUR SOCK CHORE HAS REALLY CHEERED YOU UP.

Mustard says, IT'S NOT THE SOCKS, IT'S MY GOOD FRIENDS.

The three kittens shout, SO AWESOME!

(Music playing)

Kittens singing, ME-WOW, ME-WOW, ME-WOW, ME-WOW!

Mustard skips rope outside with the kittens.

The narrator says, AND THAT'S HOW THE KITTENS CHEERED UP THEIR FRIEND, BY HELPING WITH HER CHORES AND MAKING IT FUN.
