An animated town is on a green hill.

A narrator says, IN THIS LITTLE TOWN LIVES A KITTEN NAMED COOKIE…

An animated cat in a sailor hat sits in a boat on water. A cat in stocking cap is pulled off the ground by a kite.

The narrator continues, HIS BIG BROTHER, PUDDING, AND THEIR LITTLE SISTER, CANDY.

A cat wearing a red bow skips rope. The three cats stand together. More cats appear.

The narrator says, LOTS OF OTHER KITTENS LIVE HERE, TOO. COOKIE, CANDY, AND PUDDING, KID-E-CATS.

A title reads: KID-E-CATS

All say, WE'RE CUTE!

Candy says, BUT I'M CUTER.

All say, ME-WOW!

An episode title reads: Forest Kittens.

The narrator says, FOREST KITTENS.

Daddy drives the three kittens in a red car. They travel through a forest and stop at a wooden gate. A black and white cat in a green cap stands at the gate.

The narrator says, ONE DAY, DADDY TOOK THE KITTENS TO FOREST KITTENS CAMP.

The kittens say, GOOD MORNING!

The black and white cat says, GOOD MORNING THERE, KITTENS. I'LL BE YOUR CAMP INSTRUCTOR. WHEN YOUR DAD AND I WERE LITTLE, WE CAME TO THIS CAMP TOGETHER, AND EARNED THE WONDERFUL TITLE OF FOREST KITTENS.

Daddy salutes.

Daddy says, HM! YEAH, I'LL BE BACK TO PICK YOU UP IN A COUPLE OF DAYS, AND I'LL WATCH YOUR FOREST KITTENS INDUCTION. I'LL BE SO PROUD OF YOU ALL.

The kittens wear blue back packs.

The kittens shout, SO AWESOME!

The kittens sing, ME-WOW, ME-WOW, ME-WOW, ME-WOW!

The kittens walk past red and white cabins with roofs shaped like kitten ears. Other kittens do chin-ups on a bar.

The kittens say, HI, THERE!

The other kittens say, HI THERE!

Cookie says, I THINK BEING A FOREST KITTEN IS A WHOLE LOT OF FUN.

The camp instructor plays a horn.

(Plays fanfare)

The camp instructor says, PUT YOUR BACKPACKS WITH YOUR BUNKS AND COME HAVE LUNCH IN THE PAVILION.

The kittens run to a cabin. They run back out and to an outdoor pavilion. They sit at a long table.

(Wind chimes)

The camp instructor rolls a cart of food out to the pavilion.

The camp instructor says, VEGETABLES FOR ENERGY AND STRENGTH, AND AN APPLE FOR A TREAT.

Cookie says, AH!

Pudding asks, WHAT ABOUT ECLAIRS? ON FRIDAYS AT HOME DADDY ALWAYS MAKE US ECLAIRS.

The camp instructor says, PUDDING, HERE AT FOREST KITTENS CAMP THERE ARE NO PASTRIES.

All the kittens eat.

(All munching)

The camp instructor says, MM-HM.

Cookie sips from a cup, then stands up.

Cookie says, AH, LAST ONE TO THE FIELD IS A ROTTEN EGG! COME ON, EVERYONE!

(All laughing)

Cookie and the other kittens jump up and start to run off.

(Playing fanfare)

The kittens stop.

The camp instructor says, FOREST KITTENS ALWAYS WASH THEIR DISHES BEFORE THEY RUN OFF TO HAVE FUN.

Cookie asks, CAN'T THEY JUST PUT ALL THEIR DIRTY DISHES INTO THE DISHWASHER?

The camp instructor says, THERE ISN'T A DISHWASHER HERE AT FOREST KITTEN CAMP, COOKIE.

The kittens carry their dishes and line up by a sink.

(Water running)

Cookie puts his plate in the sink and is splashed with water.

(Shouting)

The other kittens are splashed.

(All grunting)

Cookie drops his plate.

(Clattering)

Cookie says, WE AREN'T FOREST KITTENS, WE'RE SOAKING WET KITTENS.

(Playing fanfare)

The camp instructor says, NOW, IT'S TIME TO GATHER FIREWOOD.

Cookie says, WHAT? YOU'RE GOING TO MAKE US DO SOMETHING ELSE?!

(Music playing)

The kittens pick up sticks in the forest.

Pudding mutters, NO ECLAIRS, NO DISHWASHER, AND YOU HAVE TO GATHER WOOD.

Cookie says, MAYBE WE SHOULD HIDE IN THE WOODS, THEN WE WON'T HAVE TO DO ANYTHING. WE CAN COME BACK IN TWO DAYS FOR FOREST KITTENS INDUCTION CEREMONY.

Candy says, AFTER TWO DAYS IN THE WOODS, WE WON'T BE FOREST KITTENS, WE'LL BE FOREST MONSTERS.

Pudding says, MAYBE WE SHOULD CALL DADDY AND ASK HIM TO COME UP AND STAY HERE WITH US.

Candy says, BUT THIS CAMP IS FOR KITTENS, AND DADDY IS A GROWN-UP CAT.

Candy imagines Daddy trying to fit into a small bunkbed.

(Snoring)

(Daddy sighing)

Candy says, WE JUST HAVE TO STICK IT OUT FOR ONE MORE DAY.

The narrator says, AFTER DINNER, THE KITTENS GATHERED IN THE CABIN WHERE THEY WERE GOING TO SLEEP.

The sun sets.

Cookie says, I DON'T WANT TO BE A FOREST KITTEN, I WANT TO GO HOME WHERE WE HAVE A DISHWASHER.

A purple kitten says, AND A HEATER INSTEAD OF GATHERING FIREWOOD.

A grey kitten says, AND I WANT SOMEONE TO TELL ME A BEDTIME STORY.

Cookie says, THAT'S IT, I'M CALLING DADDY. I WANT HIM TO TAKE US BACK HOME.

Cookie takes out a phone. Candy grabs it.

Candy says, BUT THEN WE WON'T BE OFFICIAL FOREST KITTENS.

Cookie says, I DON'T WANT TO BE A FOREST KITTEN, I WANT TO BE A HOUSE KITTEN!

Cookie chases Candy. She runs with the phone.

Candy says, COME ON, CAN'T WE SPEND JUST TWO DAYS IN A CAMP? PUDDING, CATCH!

Candy throws the phone to Pudding. He fumbles and drops it.

(Grunting)

(Instructor playing fanfare)

The camp instructor stands outside, holding a burning torch.

The kittens say, HUH?

The camp instructor says, KITTENS, COME WITH ME.

The camp instructor lights a campfire.

(Kittens gasping)

The camp instructor says, RIGHT, I'D LIKE TO KNOW HOW YOU FEEL SO FAR ABOUT YOUR TIME AT FOREST KITTEN CAMP.

Pudding says, WE MISS OUR MOMMY AND DADDY.

Cookie says, AND WE'RE TIRED FROM ALWAYS HAVING TO DO ALL THESE THINGS.

The camp instructor says, I HEAR THAT. USUALLY YOUR PARENTS DO EVERYTHING FOR YOU.

(Kittens gasping)

The camp instructor says, BUT BECOMING AN OFFICIAL FOREST KITTEN MEANS IN THE TIME THAT YOU SPENT HERE, YOU'VE LEARNED TO DO COOL STUFF FOR YOURSELF.

Pudding says, OH, SO THAT'S WHY DADDY WANTS US TO BECOME FOREST KITTENS LIKE HE DID.

Candy says, I HAVE A REALLY GOOD IDEA. WE NEED TO IMAGINE THAT EVERY TASK WE'RE GIVEN MAKES US STRONGER AND MORE INDEPENDENT.

Cookie says, AND TO BECOME A REAL FOREST KITTEN, WE NEED TO COMPLETE AS MANY TASKS AS POSSIBLE, RIGHT?

All the kittens say, RIGHT!

It is morning. The kittens run out of the cabin.

(Playing fanfare)

The narrator says, THE NEXT DAY, THE KITTENS COMPLETED ALL THE CHALLENGES HAPPILY, AND DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE HOW TIME FLEW.

The kittens exercise, eat, and wash their dishes.

(Laughing)

They gather wood. At night they sit around the fire with the camp instructor.

All singing, HEY-HO-HEY HEY-HO-HEY.

It is daytime. The kittens stand under a flagpole. Cat parents stand nearby.

The camp instructor says, AFTER TWO DAYS IN OUR CAMP, YOU'VE SHOWN YOURSELVES TO BE INDEPENDENT KITTENS.

The camp instructor hands out green ball caps to the kittens.

Mommy and Daddy smile.

Mommy and Daddy say, MM.

The camp instructor says, NOW, YOU ARE ALL OFFICIALLY FOREST KITTENS!

The kitten say, SO AWESOME!

Kittens singing, ME-WOW, ME-WOW, ME-WOW, ME-WOW!

The narrator says, THE KITTENS WERE VERY GLAD THAT THEY SHOWED ENDURANCE AND INDEPENDENCE AND MADE THEIR DADDY AND MOMMY HAPPY.

Mommy and Daddy hug the kittens.
