Text reads, “CTC”.

White fluffy clouds hover over a town on top of a grassy hill. There is a tall tower and many colourful buildings.

In a nearby lake, Cookie, an orange cat, floats in a boat. He wears a sailor's hat and a blue and white striped t-shirt.

Meanwhile, Pudding, another orange cat flies a purple kite on top of a hill. He wears a long green shirt and a matching toque with a pom pom on it.

Candy, the youngest of the orange cats, skips rope near the water. She wears a red dress with a matching red bow on her head.

A narrator says,
IN THIS LITTLE TOWN
LIVES A KITTEN NAMED COOKIE,
HIS BIG BROTHER PUDDING, AND
THEIR LITTLE SISTER CANDY.
LOTS OF OTHER KITTENS LIVE
HERE, TOO.

The cats smile as they stand together on a hill. Other cats join them.

The narrator says,
COOKIE, CANDY AND PUDDING:
KID-E-CATS.

The Kid-E-Cats say, WE'RE CUTE...

Candy replies, ...BUT I'M CUTER.

The Kid-E-Cats say, ME-WOW!

The title reads, “The Kid-E-Cats”.

A wooden gate leads to a forest.

Text reads, “A Whale of a Secret”.

Campers run through the gate. They all wear green hats with a camp logo on them.

The narrator says,
THE NEXT DAY, THE FOREST
KITTIES RETURNED TO CAMP AND
COULDN'T WAIT TO DISCUSS THE
LATEST CLUE FROM WHISKER THE
WANDERER.

Candy pulls a notebook out of her backpack as she sits at a table with the other campers.

She says,
I DID AN EXACT COPY OF THE
DRAWING WE FOUND ON THE STONE.

Candy shows her drawing of Cookie dancing.

(Everyone laughing)

Cookie looks embarrassed.

Candy says,
UH, THAT'S THE WRONG ONE.
LOOK.

She flips a page and shows the other campers her drawing of a whale.

Chase, a black and white cat, says,
I WONDER WHAT THIS WHALE MEANS.

Chase’s Dad smiles. He is a black and white cat wearing a red jumpsuit and one of the green hats.

Chase’s Dad says,
I THINK WE SHOULD TAKE A LOOK
AT THAT MAP AGAIN, YOU KNOW?
IT HELPED US GET TO THE HILL
WITH THE FIRST RIDDLE.
MAYBE IT'LL HELP US AGAIN.

The Kid-E-Cats and the other campers rush out of a building.

Cookie shouts,
COME ON.
THE MAP SHOULD BE RIGHT IN OUR
CABIN.

Chase’s Dad follows the campers into their red and white cat-shaped cabin. Inside, the beds and floors are covered with books, board game pieces, and sports equipment.

Chase’s Dad says,
OH.
NOW, KITTENS, WHY IS IT SUCH A
MESS IN HERE?
REAL FOREST KITTIES ALWAYS KEEP
THEIR THINGS ORGANIZED.

Pudding looks through his backpack. He dumps everything inside onto the floor.

Cookie asks,
WHO HAS TIME TO ORGANIZE WHEN
THEY'RE BUSY SEARCHING FOR
TREASURE?
PUDDING, WHERE'D YOU PUT THE
MAP?

Pudding replies,
I DON'T REMEMBER WHERE I PUT
IT, AND IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND
IN THIS MESS.

(Crying)

Candy says,
THEN, I GUESS WE NEED TO
CLEAN UP.

Chase’s Dad replies,
NOW, THAT'S THE SPIRIT OF A
REAL FOREST KITTY.
ONCE YOU'VE CLEANED THIS UP,
YOU'RE SURE TO FIND THE MAP.

The Kid-E-Cats hold hands and smile.

They shout, SO AWESOME.

The campers start to tidy up their cabin.

Cookie raps,
ME-WOW, ME-WOW, ME-WOW, ME-WOW!
UH, UH
SHEESH
HA-HA, YEAH
ALL DAY LONG WE PLAYED IN
THIS CABIN THAT WE STAYED IN
BUT NOW
IT'S SO HARD TO FIND
'CAUSE OF THE MESS
THAT WE MADE IN
NOW, WE'RE REPAYING
TIDYING UP
THIS BED WILL MAKE UP ITSELF
AND THIS WILL STACK
ON THE SHELF, UH
IF IT'S ALL IN THE BOX
THEN WE'VE GOT SOME HOPE
THERE SHOULD BE TWO SOCKS
DON'T FORGET THE JUMP ROPE
A MOUNTAIN TO CLIMB
AND YO, IT MAY TAKE SOME TIME
BUT WE'LL KEEP ON CLEANING
TILL I'M DONE WITH MY RHYME

The Kid-E-Cats sing,
EVERYTHING THAT IS LOST
WE FINDING
AND I GUESS WE ALL NEED
REMINDING
CLEANING UP IS THE WAY
TO DO IT
ONCE YOU START, NOW
THERE'S NOTHING TO IT

Candy sweeps dust off the tidy floor. Mustard, a purple cat, takes the broom away from him.

The campers finish cleaning the cabin.

Candy picks up papers on one of the beds.

She says,
LOOK, GUYS!
I FOUND THE MAP.

The campers shout, HOORAY!

Later, the campers and Chase’s Dad read the map at the table.

Chase says,
HEY.
CHECK IT OUT.
THERE'S A LAKE RIGHT NEXT TO THE
CAMP.
MAYBE THERE ARE WHALES IN THE
LAKE.

Cookie daydreams about underwater treasure.

He says,
UH-HUH, AND THEY'RE GUARDING
THE TREASURE.

In Cookie’s daydream, he finds a treasure chest while he scuba-dives underwater. A smiling whale swims toward him.

(Gasping)

Chase’s Dad says,
OH, KITTENS, THERE AREN'T ANY
WHALES IN THE LAKE.
FOR STARTERS, THERE'S NOT ENOUGH
ROOM.

Cookie replies,
WELL, MAYBE THEY'RE
MINI-WHALES, AND I BET THEY KNOW
EXACTLY WHERE THE TREASURE'S
HIDING.

In Cookie’s daydream, mini whales swim together to form an arrow pointing to a treasure chest in a cave.

Mustard says,
COOKIE, THERE'S NO SUCH THING
AS MINI-WHALES.

Candy looks at her whale drawing again and then looks at the map.

She asks,
WHAT IF THE WHALE'S NOT A
WHALE?
GUYS, IT'S AN ISLAND.
CHECK IT OUT.
THERE'S AN ISLAND IN THE LAKE,
AND LOOK: IT'S SHAPED EXACTLY
LIKE THE DRAWING ON THE STONE.

Pudding says,
WAY TO GO, CANDY!
AND THE STAR ISN'T THE EYE OF
THE WHALE.
IT'S THE SPOT WHERE THE TREASURE
IS BURIED.

The campers smile while they look at the map.

Chase’s Dad says,
WELL, FOREST KITTIES, I SAY
WE SET A COURSE FOR WHALE ISLAND
AT ONCE.

Later, the campers ride in a wooden row boat. Chase’s Dad paddles with his oars.

The narrator says,
THE FOREST KITTIES AND THEIR
CAMP COUNSELLOR WENT STRAIGHT
TO THE DOCK TO GRAB A BOAT AND
SET SAIL.

The rowboat reaches whale island and the campers get out.

Mustard asks,
SO, WHERE'S THE TREASURE,
ANYWAY?

Chase’s Dad rests a shovel on his shoulder while he looks at the map.

He says,
WELL, WE'RE STANDING RIGHT
HERE, SO THE TREASURE MUST BE
BURIED OVER THERE.

Chase’s Dad leads the campers to the other side of the island.

The sun begins to set.

(Grunting)

The campers look tired. They watch while Chase’s Dad digs a hole in the ground.

(Sighing)

(Grunting)

Chase’s Dad hits something with his shovel.

He says, OH?

(Gasping)

The Kid-E-Cats shout, WE FOUND IT!

Chase’s Dad lifts a small box out of the hole.

Cookie says,
AW.
WHISKER THE WANDERER DIDN'T HIDE
A VERY BIG TREASURE, DID HE?

Chase’s Dad opens the box and pulls out a rolled-up piece of paper.

He replies,
I'M AFRAID THIS ISN'T THE
TREASURE AT ALL, BUT YET ANOTHER
RIDDLE.
"WHAT'S HIDING UNDER THE YOUNG
OAK TREE?"
HMM.

Chase says,
WELL, LET'S GO FIND THAT OAK.

Pudding replies,
IT'S GOTTEN TOO DARK FOR
THAT, CHASE.
WHAT IF THE FOREST IS FULL OF
YOUNG OAKS?
AND TOMORROW'S OUR LAST DAY AT
CAMP.

(Crying)

Candy looks excited.

She says,
I'VE GOT A REALLY GOOD IDEA.
LET'S NOT GIVE UP.
AFTER ALL, WE'VE GOT A WHOLE DAY
TOMORROW TO FIND THAT TREASURE.

The Kid-E-Cats shout,
SO AWESOME.
ME-WOW, ME-WOW, ME-WOW, ME-WOW!

Chase’s Dad and the campers travel back to the camp on the rowboat.

The narrator says,
AND THAT'S HOW THE FOREST
KITTIES SOLVED THE THIRD RIDDLE
LEFT BY WHISKER THE WANDERER.
BUT WILL THEY FIND THE
TREASURE?
I BET WE'LL FIND OUT SOON.
