Text reads, “CTC”.

White fluffy clouds hover over a town on top of a grassy hill. There is a tall tower and many colourful buildings.

In a nearby lake, Cookie, an orange cat, floats in a boat. He wears a sailor's hat and a blue and white striped t-shirt.

Meanwhile, Pudding, another orange cat flies a purple kite on top of a hill. He wears a long green shirt and a matching toque with a pom pom on it.

Candy, the youngest of the orange cats, skips rope near the water. She wears a red dress with a matching red bow on her head.

A narrator says,
IN THIS LITTLE TOWN
LIVES A KITTEN NAMED COOKIE,
HIS BIG BROTHER PUDDING, AND
THEIR LITTLE SISTER CANDY.
LOTS OF OTHER KITTENS LIVE
HERE, TOO.

The cats smile as they stand together on a hill. Other cats join them.

The narrator says,
COOKIE, CANDY AND PUDDING:
KID-E-CATS.

The Kid-E-Cats say, WE'RE CUTE...

Candy replies, ...BUT I'M CUTER.

The Kid-E-Cats say, ME-WOW!

The title reads, “The Kid-E-Cats”.

The sun shines brightly on the forest.

Text reads, “The Treasure”.

The narrator says,
ON THEIR LAST DAY AT CAMP,
THE KITTENS WENT IN SEARCH OF
THE YOUNG OAK, WHERE WHISKER
THE WANDERER MOST CERTAINLY HID
HIS TREASURE.

The Kid-E-Cats and the other campers walk together through the forest. They find a tree in a clearing.

Cookie says,
THIS MUST BE THE
YOUNG OAK, RIGHT?
I JUST KNOW THE TREASURE'S HERE.

Cookie begins to dig.

Chase’s Dad, the camp counsellor says,
THAT'S NOT AN OAK, COOKIE.

Cookie replies, HUH?

Chase’s Dad says, IT'S A MAPLE.

Chase jumps up and down next to a tree with a white trunk.

He says,
GUYS, I FOUND THE YOUNG OAK.
LOOK HOW PRETTY IT IS.

Chase’s Dad says,
UH, YOU'RE RIGHT.
THAT IS A LOVELY TREE, CHASE,
BUT THAT'S A BIRCH TREE.

Mustard, a purple cat, waves beside another tree.

She says,
HEY, YOU GUYS?
I'VE DEFINITELY FOUND THE OAK.

(Chuckling)

Chase's Dad replies,
SORRY, MUSTARD, BUT THAT'S AN
ELM.

Cookie says,
THIS ISN'T AN OAK.
THAT'S NOT AN OAK.
HOW DO YOU TELL THEM APART,
ANYWAY?

Pudding pulls out his cell phone.

He says,
LOOK AT THEIR LEAVES.
EVERY TREE HAS A DIFFERENT KIND
OF LEAF SHAPE.
THIS ONE'S MAPLE.
THIS ONE'S BIRCH.
AND THE YOUNG OAK LEAVES WILL
LOOK LIKE THIS.

Pudding scrolls through different shaped leaves.

Cookie replies,
AH.
THANKS FOR THAT, PUDDING.
NOW, WE'RE GOING TO FIND IT FOR
SURE.

The Kid-E-Cats hold hands and jump in the air.

They shout,
SO AWESOME.
ME-WOW, ME-WOW, ME-WOW, ME-WOW!

Pudding looks at different leaves stuck in a spiderweb.

(Birds chirping)

Ants carry food and sticks across the grass. Cookie picks up an ant holding a leaf.

Candy reaches up to a tree branch. A butterfly with green wings that look like leaves flies away from her.

The other campers search the forest for an oak tree leaf.

Chase’s Dad finds the campers in a clearing.

He says, OH?

Candy says,
WE'VE BEEN SEARCHING HALF THE
DAY, AND WE HAVEN'T SEEN A
SINGLE OAK YET.

Boris, a grey cat wearing a blue sweater, adds,
I'M HUNGRY, I'M TIRED, AND I
JUST WANT TO GO BACK TO THE
CAMP.

The rest of the campers nod.

Pudding says,
OH, NO.
WE NEVER FOUND WHISKER'S
TREASURE.

(Crying)

Chase’s Dad replies,
DON'T WORRY, FOREST KITTIES.
WE CAN ALWAYS CONTINUE OUR
SEARCH FOR THE TREASURE THE NEXT
TIME YOU COME TO CAMP, CAN'T WE?
WHAT'S OUR MOTTO?
THE FOREST KITTIES...

The campers say ...NEVER GIVE UP.

Chase’s Dad replies, RIGHT.

(Chuckling)

(Playing melody on horn)

Later, Chase’s Dad and the campers gather around a tall tree at the camp. Chase’s Dad hands out badges.

He says,
LISTEN UP, FOREST KITTIES.
TOMORROW, YOU'LL ALL HEAD BACK
TO YOUR HOMES, SO ACCORDING TO
CAMP TRADITION, I'VE BROUGHT YOU
HERE UNDER THIS OLD FRIENDSHIP
TREE TO REWARD YOU FOR YOUR
ACCOMPLISHMENTS.
YOU'VE ALL DEMONSTRATED
INITIATIVE AND CREATIVITY, AND
YOU NEVER GAVE UP.
MAY THESE BADGES ALWAYS REMIND
YOU THAT YOU'RE FOREST KITTIES.
CONGRATULATIONS.

The campers say,
WOW!
THANK YOU, CAMP COUNSELLOR.

Pudding pouts.

He says,
I STILL WISH THAT WE COULD'VE
FOUND WHISKER'S TREASURE.

(Shouting)

An oak tree leaf floats into Cookie’s face.

He says,
AH, LOOK.
AN OAK LEAF.

Candy replies,
THE OLD FRIENDSHIP TREE IS AN
OAK.
BUT IT IS KIND OF AN OLD OAK
TREE, AND WHISKER THE WANDERER
SAID HE BURIED HIS TREASURE
UNDER A YOUNG OAK.

(Gasping)

Pudding says,
BUT GUYS, THIS HASN'T ALWAYS
BEEN A BIG OLD TREE.
WHISKER THE WANDERER BURIED HIS
TREASURE MANY, MANY YEARS AGO,
AND BACK THEN, THIS OAK TREE WAS
STILL YOUNG.

Pudding daydreams about Whisker the Wanderer burying a chest deep in the ground. Whisker wears a red and gold robe and had a short beard.

The campers look excited.

Chase’s Dad says,
PUDDING, YOU REALLY ARE ONE
CLEVER KITTEN, AND THAT MEANS
THAT THE TREASURE COULD BE RIGHT
BENEATH OUR FEET.
CHASE, WILL YOU BRING THE
SHOVEL?

Chase nods and runs away from the tree.

(Grunting)

Later, Chase’s Dad digs a deep hole at the base of the tree. He pulls a large chest out of the dirt.

The campers shout,
HOORAY!
OH, WOW.

Chase’s Dad opens the chest. A gold clock, a green mask, and a sea shell lie on top of a large pile of treasure.

Pudding asks,
DOES THIS REALLY
BELONG TO US NOW?

Cookie picks up the mask and puts it on.

He says,
CHECK IT OUT.
I'M A REAL FOREST KITTY.

(Laughing)

Chase’s Dad says,
I BET THE KEEPER OF THE
WHISKER THE WANDERER MUSEUM
WOULDN'T BELIEVE HIS EYES IF HE
SAW ALL THIS.

Chase asks,
SO, WHAT DO WE DO WITH IT?

Candy replies,
I'VE GOT A GREAT IDEA.
WE'LL GIVE IT TO THE WHISKER THE
WANDERER MUSEUM.
THEN, IT'LL BE JUST AS COOL
INSIDE AS IT IS OUTSIDE.

Mustard adds,
THEN THE TREASURE WON'T JUST
BE FOR FOREST KITTIES, BUT FOR
EVERYONE.

Chase’s Dad says,
NOW, THAT'S THE FOREST KITTY
SPIRIT.
WELL DONE, KIDS.

Chase’s Dad shuts the chest.

A building shaped like a wooden sailing ship stands in the forest. The sail features a red paw print.

The narrator says,
THE NEXT MORNING, BEFORE
HEADING BACK HOME, THE FOREST
KITTIES TOOK THE TREASURES TO
THE WHISKER THE WANDERER
MUSEUM, AND INVITED ALL THEIR
PARENTS TO COME.

The camper’s parents look at the treasures

Cookie, Pudding, and Candy’s parents look up at a golden whisk on the museum wall.

The Kid-E-Cats Dad says,
A GOLDEN WHISK FOR MAKING
WHIPPED CREAM?
BEAUTIFUL.

The keeper of the museum, a blue cat with a grey beard and sideburns, approaches the parents. He holds the green mask under his arm.

The keeper says,
WHISKER THE WANDERER RECEIVED
IT AS A GIFT FROM THE KING OF
TRIPAWLI.
IF IT WEREN'T FOR THESE KITTENS,
WE WOULDN'T HAVE ANY OF THESE
TREASURES.

The Kid-E-Cats’ Dad says,
I'M SO PROUD, KITTENS.

The keeper holds up the mask.

He says,
BY THE WAY, I FOUND ANOTHER
FOREST CAT MASK IN THE CHEST.
HERE.
I'D LIKE TO PRESENT IT TO YOU
FOREST KITTIES AS A TOKEN OF MY
APPRECIATION.

Chase's Dad replies,
OH, THAT'LL LOOK GREAT UNDER
THE CAMP'S OLD AND YOUNG
FRIENDSHIP OAK TREE.
WHAT DO YOU THINK, FOREST
KITTIES?

The Kid-E-Cats hold hands.

They shout,
SO AWESOME.
ME-WOW, ME-WOW, ME-WOW, ME-WOW!

The narrator says,
AND THAT'S HOW THE FOREST
KITTIES SPENT THEIR TIME AT THE
CAMP, AND THEY LEARNED THAT IF
YOU KEEP LOOKING AND NEVER GIVE
UP, YOU'RE CERTAIN TO FIND YOUR
OWN SPECIAL TREASURE.
