THERE'S A SUNNY LITTLE PLACE
CALLED KANGAROO BEACH.
Frizzy, Gemma, Neville and Pounce leap off their beds. Frizzy is a young blue koala, Gemma is a pink platypus, Neville is a hairy-nosed albino wombat with a pink nose, and Pounce is a young yellow and orange kangaroo. They ride down a slide.
[Boing, slide whistles]
The voices sing, FRIZZY, GEMMA,
NEVILLE AND POUNCE,
CADETS IN THE CLUB
SO COME ON LET'S BOUNCE .
GOOD FRIENDS SURFING
SWIMMING, LEARNING.
[Screaming, whistle blows, splash]
Bondi, an orange kangaroo lifeguard, drives a boat. Sandy, a pink kangaroo lifeguard, stands beside him. Big Trev, a yellow wombat, pilots a small submarine.

[Upbeat music plays]
Pounce says excitedly, SPEED OUT TO BOOMERANG
ISLAND FOR A DAY OF RUNNING, CLIMBING,
AND SWIMMING.
[Neville snores, Frizzy yawns]
Bondi says, YES, UH, WHILE YOU…
Pounce finishes, DO A BUNCH OF
PRACTICE RESCUES AND WIN A
RESCUE MEDALLION!
Bondi says, EXACTLY!
SO, LET'S GET TO IT.
Pounce says, I KNEW YOU WERE
GOING TO SAY THAT.
[Cadets giggle]
[Splashing]
Later, Pounce and Neville run down a sand dune.
[Upbeat music continues]
Pounce says, COME ON, NEVILLE!
LET'S GO!
Neville says, CAREFUL, POUNCE.
YOU HAVEN'T WARMED UP YET.
[Rustling]
Pounce says, HEROES DON'T WARM UP.
HERE COMES THE AMAZING LIFEGUARD
HERO! WHOO-HOO!
Pounce rides a surfboard on the sand.
[Scratching]
Pounce screams, AH!
Pounce falls on the sand.
[Grunt]
Pounce holds his left leg. Neville runs to the top of the dune and looks down.
[Rustling]
Pounce says, OW!
JUMPING JOEYS.
THAT HURTS.
Neville says, I'LL GO GET HELP.
WHATEVER YOU DO, STAY CALM.
Neville shouts, HELP!
[Pounce groans, motor hums]
Sandy arrives driving a dune buggy. She hops out.
Sandy asks, DID SOMEBODY CALL FOR HELP?
POUNCE, I'M LOOKING AT YOU.
Pounce says, AH, MY THUMPER.
[Waves crash, birds chirp]
Sandy says, AW, YOU POOR THING.
TELL ME, DOES IT HURT WHEN
I DO THIS?
Sandy moves Pounce’s foot.
Pounce yelps, OW!
Sandy pushes down on Pounce’s foot.
Sandy asks, OH, HOW ABOUT THIS?
Pounce yelps. OW!
Sandy says, HMM.
Pounce says, OW!
Sandy says, I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING
THAT TIME, POUNCE.
Pounce replies, IT HURTS ALL THE TIME!

Sandy holds up a yellow inflatable cast.

Sandy says, RESCUE DAY. SORRY, MATE.
Pounce says, AW.
Pounce sits glumly with his leg propped up on a railing.
Bondi says, RESCUE TRAINING, CADETS.
SWIM ACROSS AND SAVE THAT FAMILY
OF WOMBATS.
Bondi points at three coconuts on top of a rock. Each coconut has a smile painted on it and two pebbles for eyes.
Neville whispers, THEY LOOK LIKE
COCONUTS TO ME.
Frizzy replies, PRETEND WOMBATS, NEVILLE.
Bondi says, ON YOUR MARKS.
GET SET. GO!
Pounce hops behind Frizzy, Neville and Gemma.
[Cheerful music plays]
Pounce says, WAIT FOR ME!
Frizzy says, POUNCE, YOU SHOULD
BE RESTING!
Pounce says, I'M OKAY.
I'M FEELING SO MUCH BETTER. OW.
[Groans]
Pounce falls on the sand.
Pounce says, OW. I'M GOOD!
[Chuckles, groans]
Gemma, Frizzy and Neville run into water.
[Splashing, grunting]
Sandy picks Pounce up.
[Birds sing]
Sandy says, YEP, GOOD.
A-PLUS FOR ENTHUSIASM, BUT
I RECKON WE SIT THIS ONE OUT.
WHAT DO YOU THINK, CHAMP?
Pounce groans, OH.
[Cadets grunt, chatter]
Bondi says, NICE ONE, CADETS.
[Cadets giggle]
NOW, JUMP UP AND RESCUE YOUR
WOMBAT!
[Gemma, Frizzy and Neville cheer]
Pounce says, JUMPING?
I'M MADE TO JUMP. HERE COMES
THE AMAZING HERO.
Pounce jumps out of the dune buggy and falls forward on the sand.
Pounce yells, AH!
[Groaning, whooshes]
The three coconuts fall on to the sand by Pounce.
Bondi says, YOU KNOW WHAT, MATE?
MAYBE YOU CAN JOIN IN SOME OTHER WAY.
[Pounce chuckles weakly]
Bondi says, THAT'S IT, CADETS.
LIFT THOSE KNEES!
Gemma, Neville and Frizzy carry Pounce on a stretcher.
[Rustling, upbeat music plays]
Gemma says, TO THE HOSPITAL!
Bondi says, GREAT RESCUE TRAINING.
[Splashing]
Later, Pounce sits unhappily on a bench. The other cadets stand looking at him.
[Birds chirp]
Pounce says, AW. CAN'T BELIEVE
I'M MISSING OUT ON THE BEST,
FUN-EST, MOST EXCITING DAY EVER.
[Screatching, upbeat music plays]
Frizzy draws on the inflatable cast.
Frizzy says, DON'T WORRY, POUNCE.
I KNOW HOW TO CHEER YOU UP.
(GIGGLING)
Pounce says, THANKS, FRIZZY, BUT IF
I CAN'T DO A BIG RESCUE, WHAT
GOOD AM I AS A LIFEGUARD HERO?
Neville says, THE RESCUE WON'T BE
THAT EXCITING. WILL IT, EVERYONE?
[Nervous chuckles]
Gemma says, NO FUN AT ALL.
Frizzy says, BORING.
Bondi asks, IS EVERYONE READY
FOR A MEGA-EXCITING RESCUE?
[All cadets but Pounce cheer]
The cadets run to a large screen. Sandy and Bondi each stand on a side of the screen.
The cadets cheer, SO FUN! LET'S GO! YIPPEE!
A map of Boomerang Island appears on the screen. A red circle shows the location of the three coconut wombats.
Sandy says, ALRIGHT, CADETS.
BRING YOUR A GAME.
WE HAVE SPOTTED A FAMILY
OF WOMBATS STUCK ON
BOOMERANG ISLAND.
Neville says, WOW.
Bondi says, LIFEGUARDS TO THE RESCUE.
[Cheerful music plays]
Neville, Gemma and Frizzy say, YES!
Neville says, BYE, POUNCE!
GET BETTER!
Gemma cheers, WHOO, LET'S GO!
Neville cheers, LET'S GO!
Frizzy says, SERIOUSLY, THIS
WON'T BE AS FUN AS IT SOUNDS.
Soon, Pounce watches through a window as the other cadets ride watercraft towards the island.
[Cadets cheer]
Big Trev asks, YOU OKAY, TYKE?
Pounce says, I'M MISSING OUT ON
ALL THE EPIC ACTION.
Big Trev says, OH, STICK WITH ME.
THERE'S PLENTY OF EPIC ACTION
AROUND HERE.
Big Trev uses binoculars to check on guests frolicking on a beach. He and Pounce sit in a lifeguard station part way up a tree.
[Animals giggle and laugh]
Big Trev says, OHM. YES SIR-EE.
PRETTY EPIC.
[Big Trev sighs]
Pounce lowers binoculars]
[Distant laughter]
Pounce says, AW.
[Static crackles]
Pounce picks up a walkie-talkie.
Pounce says, HELLO?
ANYONE OUT THERE?
I'D LOVE TO HEAR ABOUT IT.
Neville says, HEY, POUNCE.
UM, NOT THAT EXCITING.
[Exciting music plays]
Frizzy and Neville ride in a boat with Bondi. Gemma rides behind Sandy on a jet ski.
Nevill cheers, YES, AWESOME!
Frizzy cheers, WHOO-HOO!
Gemma says, FASTER, FASTER!
Sandy says, FASTER? ALRIGHT,
YOU'RE TWISTING MY ARM!
LET'S GO!
[Cadets cheer, laugh]
Pounce stares unhappily at the walkie-talkie and turns it off.
[Static crackles]
Pounce asks, CAN WE GO FOR A
RIDE IN THE BUGGY? PLEASE?
Big Trev says, OKAY.
Soon, Pounce sits beside Big Trev in the dune buggy.
Big Trev says, STRAP IN AND HOLD
ON TO YOUR HAT.
[Exciting music plays]
Big Trev adjusts his driving goggles. He drives forward slowly.
[Motor chugs, slow music plays]
A young penguin runs past the dune buggy.
The penguin says, HI!
Pounce asks, CAN WE GO A BIT FASTER?
Big Trev replies, SAFETY FIRST, POUNCE.
Pounce picks up the walkie-talkie.
[Static]
Pounce asks, WHAT ARE YOU UP
TO NOW, NEVILLE?
Neville says, UM, NOTHING SPECIAL.
Frizzy says, COME ON, NEVILLE.
YOUR TURN.
Neville says, SORRY, POUNCE!
GOT TO GO!
On Boomerang Island, Neville runs across a beach.
[Upbeat music plays, panting, grunting, giggling]
Neville swings on a rope to a rock and picks up a coconut wombat.
Neville says, UH, WHOA!
YES! I SAVED HER!
[Frizzy and Gemma cheer]
Frizzy and Gemma chant, NEVILLE,
NEVILLE, NEVILLE, NEVILLE, NEVILLE!
In the buggy, Pounce’s shoulders droop.
Big Trev says, I KNOW JUST THE JOB FOR YOU.
[Pounce sighs]
Later, Big Trev and Pounce stand by a large pool.
Big Trev says, ASSISTANT POOL MONITOR!
A sunbather shouts, HELLO, MR. LIFEGUARDS!
[Penguin giggles]
The penguin says, JUMP INTO POOL.
AH, AH, AH!
[Splashing]
Pounce says, I'LL SAVE HER!
Big Trev says, EASY, TYKE.
NO NEED TO JUMP IN THE WATER
ON EVERY RESCUE. GOT THAT?
Big Trev throws a pool noodle towards the penguin.
Big Trev shouts, HANG TIGHT
AND PADDLE TO THE EDGE!
[Splashing, giggling, cheerful music plays]
[Big Trev grunts]
Big Trev says, GOT YOU.
HOW'S THAT FOR EPIC, HMM?
[Pounce chuckles weakly]
Pounce says, TOTALLY.
On the island, Gemma drops a surfboard into water and lies down on it. She paddles.
[Grunting, splashing, sigh]
Gemma grabs a coconut wombat off a rock just before a wave arrives.
Gemma cheers, OOH-HOO!
Frizzy cheers, WHOO-HOO!
Neville cheers, WAY TO GO, GEMMA!
YOU DID IT!
[Cheering through walkie-talkie]
Pounce asks, ANY UPDATES, NEVILLE?
Neville says, ALMOST DONE, POUNCE.
WE'RE COMING HOME JUST AFTER
WE, UH, PACK UP.
[Sizzling, tapping]
Bondi snaps a tongs together. He stands beside a red barbeque grill.
Bondi says, BARBECUE TIME, HEROES.
WHO WANTS A GRILLED GRASS BURGER?
Neville shouts, YES, PLEASE!
Frizzy shouts, YES, YEAH, WHOO-HOO!
Neville says, OH, THIS IS THE
GREATEST DAY OF MY LIFE!
WAIT, IS THIS THING STILL ON?
[Cheering]
Pounce looks at the walkie-talkie and droops.
[Sad music plays]
Pounce says, THANKS FOR TRYING
TO CHEER ME UP, BIG TREV. I'M GOING
TO GO WAIT FOR MY FRIENDS.
The penguin says, I'M GOING
TO JUMP IN THE POOL.
[Splash]
Big Trev says, NOT AGAIN.
Soon, Pounce sits at the end of a pier and looks at his reflection in the water.
[Gulls cry, Pounce groans]
Pounce says, ALL MY FRIENDS
ARE HAVING FUN BEING HEROES,
AND I'M STUCK IN THIS THING.
[Splashing]
A young wombat shouts, MUM, HELP!
MUM, HELP!
The young wombat flails in water by the pier.
The mother shouts, HOLD ON
The young wombat shouts, MUM!
[Tense music plays]
The mother says, I'M COMING, DOUG!
Pounce says, NO, DON'T GO IN
WITHOUT SOMETHING THAT FLOATS!
The mother shouts, HELP, HELP!
WE'RE CAUGHT IN A RIP! HELP!
Pounce says, STAY CALM!
I'LL GET HELP.
BIG TREV, DOUG AND DEBBIE ARE
CAUGHT IN A RIP NEAR THE PIER.
Big Trev says, I'M ON MY WAY.
LIFEGUARD TO THE RESCUE!
[Whooshing, clicking, alarm blares, helicopter blades whirr, motors hum, exciting music plays]
Debbie and Doug shout, HELP!
Debbie says, DON'T WORRY, DOUG!
THEY'RE COMING! HELP!
Pounce says, OH, COME ON, BIG TREV.
FASTER, FASTER!
MY CAST, IT'S INFLATABLE!
IT'LL FLOAT IN THE WATER!
GRAB ONTO THIS AND FLOAT!
Pounce throws his cast into the water.
[Debbie grunts, splashing]
Debbie says, THANK YOU!
Pounce shouts, NOW, STAY CALM
AND LET THE WAVES PUSH YOU
BACK TO SHORE!
Big Trev wades out and helps guide Debbie and Doug to shore. The boat with Bondi, Sandy and the other cadets arrives at the pier.
[Engine roars]
Gemma says, HEY, POUNCE, LOOK!
WE'VE RESCUED A FAMILY OF
WOMBATS.
Frizzy asks, WHAT HAVE YOU
BEEN UP TO? TAKING IT EASY?
Pounce says, UH, YEAH, SOMETHING

Debbie says, YOU SAVED US!
Debbie and Doug hug Pounce.
Doug says, WHAT A HERO.

Bondi points at three coconuts on top of a rock. Each coconut has a smile painted on it and two pebbles for eyes.
Neville whispers, THEY LOOK LIKE

Frizzy replies, PRETEND WOMBATS, NEVILLE.
Bondi says, ON YOUR MARKS.

Pounce hops behind Frizzy, Neville and Gemma.
[Cheerful music plays]
Pounce says, WAIT FOR ME!
Frizzy says, POUNCE, YOU SHOULD
BE RESTING!
Pounce says, I'M OKAY.
I'M FEELING SO MUCH BETTER. OW.
[Groans]
Pounce falls on the sand.
Pounce says, OW. I'M GOOD!
[Chuckles, groans]
Gemma, Frizzy and Neville run into water.
[Splashing, grunting]
Sandy picks Pounce up.
[Birds sing]
Sandy says, YEP, GOOD.
A-PLUS FOR ENTHUSIASM, BUT
I RECKON WE SIT THIS ONE OUT.
WHAT DO YOU THINK, CHAMP?
Pounce groans, OH.
[Cadets grunt, chatter]
Bondi says, NICE ONE, CADETS.
[Cadets giggle]
NOW, JUMP UP AND RESCUE YOUR
WOMBAT!
[Gemma, Frizzy and Neville cheer]
Pounce says, JUMPING?
I'M MADE TO JUMP. HERE COMES
THE AMAZING HERO.
Pounce jumps out of the dune buggy and falls forward on the sand.
Pounce yells, AH!
[Groaning, whooshes]
The three coconuts fall on to the sand by Pounce.
Bondi says, YOU KNOW WHAT, MATE?
MAYBE YOU CAN JOIN IN SOME OTHER WAY.
[Pounce chuckles weakly]
Bondi says, THAT'S IT, CADETS.
LIFT THOSE KNEES!
Gemma, Neville and Frizzy carry Pounce on a stretcher.
[Rustling, upbeat music plays]
Gemma says, TO THE HOSPITAL!
Bondi says, GREAT RESCUE TRAINING.
[Splashing]
Later, Pounce sits unhappily on a bench. The other cadets stand looking at him.
[Birds chirp]
Pounce says, AW. CAN'T BELIEVE
I'M MISSING OUT ON THE BEST,
FUN-EST, MOST EXCITING DAY EVER.
[Screatching, upbeat music plays]
Frizzy draws on the inflatable cast.
Frizzy says, DON'T WORRY, POUNCE.
I KNOW HOW TO CHEER YOU UP.
(GIGGLING)
Pounce says, THANKS, FRIZZY, BUT IF
I CAN'T DO A BIG RESCUE, WHAT
GOOD AM I AS A LIFEGUARD HERO?
Neville says, THE RESCUE WON'T BE
THAT EXCITING. WILL IT, EVERYONE?
[Nervous chuckles]
Gemma says, NO FUN AT ALL.
Frizzy says, BORING.
Bondi asks, IS EVERYONE READY
FOR A MEGA-EXCITING RESCUE?
[All cadets but Pounce cheer]
The cadets run to a large screen. Sandy and Bondi each stand on a side of the screen.
The cadets cheer, SO FUN! LET'S GO! YIPPEE!
A map of Boomerang Island appears on the screen. A red circle shows the location of the three coconut wombats.
Sandy says, ALRIGHT, CADETS.
BRING YOUR A GAME.
WE HAVE SPOTTED A FAMILY
OF WOMBATS STUCK ON
BOOMERANG ISLAND.
Neville says, WOW.
Bondi says, LIFEGUARDS TO THE RESCUE.
[Cheerful music plays]
Neville, Gemma and Frizzy say, YES!
Neville says, BYE, POUNCE!
GET BETTER!
Gemma cheers, WHOO, LET'S GO!
Neville cheers, LET'S GO!
Frizzy says, SERIOUSLY, THIS
WON'T BE AS FUN AS IT SOUNDS.
Soon, Pounce watches through a window as the other cadets ride watercraft towards the island.
[Cadets cheer]
Big Trev asks, YOU OKAY, TYKE?
Pounce says, I'M MISSING OUT ON
ALL THE EPIC ACTION.
Big Trev says, OH, STICK WITH ME.
THERE'S PLENTY OF EPIC ACTION
AROUND HERE.
Big Trev uses binoculars to check on guests frolicking on a beach. He and Pounce sit in a lifeguard station part way up a tree.
[Animals giggle and laugh]
Big Trev says, OHM. YES SIR-EE.
PRETTY EPIC.
[Big Trev sighs]
Pounce lowers binoculars]
[Distant laughter]
Pounce says, AW.
[Static crackles]
Pounce picks up a walkie-talkie.
Pounce says, HELLO?
ANYONE OUT THERE?
I'D LOVE TO HEAR ABOUT IT.
Neville says, HEY, POUNCE.
UM, NOT THAT EXCITING.
[Exciting music plays]
Frizzy and Neville ride in a boat with Bondi. Gemma rides behind Sandy on a jet ski.
Nevill cheers, YES, AWESOME!
Frizzy cheers, WHOO-HOO!
Gemma says, FASTER, FASTER!
Sandy says, FASTER? ALRIGHT,
YOU'RE TWISTING MY ARM!
LET'S GO!
[Cadets cheer, laugh]
Pounce stares unhappily at the walkie-talkie and turns it off.
[Static crackles]
Pounce asks, CAN WE GO FOR A
RIDE IN THE BUGGY? PLEASE?
Big Trev says, OKAY.
Soon, Pounce sits beside Big Trev in the dune buggy.
Big Trev says, STRAP IN AND HOLD
ON TO YOUR HAT.
[Exciting music plays]
Big Trev adjusts his driving goggles. He drives forward slowly.
[Motor chugs, slow music plays]
A young penguin runs past the dune buggy.
The penguin says, HI!
Pounce asks, CAN WE GO A BIT FASTER?
Big Trev replies, SAFETY FIRST, POUNCE.
Pounce picks up the walkie-talkie.
[Static]
Pounce asks, WHAT ARE YOU UP
TO NOW, NEVILLE?
Neville says, UM, NOTHING SPECIAL.
Frizzy says, COME ON, NEVILLE.
YOUR TURN.
Neville says, SORRY, POUNCE!
GOT TO GO!
On Boomerang Island, Neville runs across a beach.
[Upbeat music plays, panting, grunting, giggling]
Neville swings on a rope to a rock and picks up a coconut wombat.
Neville says, UH, WHOA!
YES! I SAVED HER!
[Frizzy and Gemma cheer]
Frizzy and Gemma chant, NEVILLE,
NEVILLE, NEVILLE, NEVILLE, NEVILLE!
In the buggy, Pounce’s shoulders droop.
Big Trev says, I KNOW JUST THE JOB FOR YOU.
[Pounce sighs]
Later, Big Trev and Pounce stand by a large pool.
Big Trev says, ASSISTANT POOL MONITOR!
A sunbather shouts, HELLO, MR. LIFEGUARDS!
[Penguin giggles]
The penguin says, JUMP INTO POOL.
AH, AH, AH!
[Splashing]
Pounce says, I'LL SAVE HER!
Big Trev says, EASY, TYKE.
NO NEED TO JUMP IN THE WATER
ON EVERY RESCUE. GOT THAT?
Big Trev throws a pool noodle towards the penguin.
Big Trev shouts, HANG TIGHT
AND PADDLE TO THE EDGE!
[Splashing, giggling, cheerful music plays]
[Big Trev grunts]
Big Trev says, GOT YOU.
HOW'S THAT FOR EPIC, HMM?
[Pounce chuckles weakly]
Pounce says, TOTALLY.
On the island, Gemma drops a surfboard into water and lies down on it. She paddles.
[Grunting, splashing, sigh]
Gemma grabs a coconut wombat off a rock just before a wave arrives.
Gemma cheers, OOH-HOO!
Frizzy cheers, WHOO-HOO!
Neville cheers, WAY TO GO, GEMMA!
YOU DID IT!
[Cheering through walkie-talkie]
Pounce asks, ANY UPDATES, NEVILLE?
Neville says, ALMOST DONE, POUNCE.
WE'RE COMING HOME JUST AFTER
WE, UH, PACK UP.
[Sizzling, tapping]
Bondi snaps a tongs together. He stands beside a red barbeque grill.
Bondi says, BARBECUE TIME, HEROES.
WHO WANTS A GRILLED GRASS BURGER?
Neville shouts, YES, PLEASE!
Frizzy shouts, YES, YEAH, WHOO-HOO!
Neville says, OH, THIS IS THE
GREATEST DAY OF MY LIFE!
WAIT, IS THIS THING STILL ON?
[Cheering]
Pounce looks at the walkie-talkie and droops.
[Sad music plays]
Pounce says, THANKS FOR TRYING
TO CHEER ME UP, BIG TREV. I'M GOING
TO GO WAIT FOR MY FRIENDS.
The penguin says, I'M GOING
TO JUMP IN THE POOL.
[Splash]
Big Trev says, NOT AGAIN.
Soon, Pounce sits at the end of a pier and looks at his reflection in the water.
[Gulls cry, Pounce groans]
Pounce says, ALL MY FRIENDS
ARE HAVING FUN BEING HEROES,
AND I'M STUCK IN THIS THING.
[Splashing]
A young wombat shouts, MUM, HELP!
MUM, HELP!
The young wombat flails in water by the pier.
The mother shouts, HOLD ON
The young wombat shouts, MUM!
[Tense music plays]
The mother says, I'M COMING, DOUG!
Pounce says, NO, DON'T GO IN
WITHOUT SOMETHING THAT FLOATS!
The mother shouts, HELP, HELP!
WE'RE CAUGHT IN A RIP! HELP!
Pounce says, STAY CALM!
I'LL GET HELP.
BIG TREV, DOUG AND DEBBIE ARE
CAUGHT IN A RIP NEAR THE PIER.
Big Trev says, I'M ON MY WAY.
LIFEGUARD TO THE RESCUE!
[Whooshing, clicking, alarm blares, helicopter blades whirr, motors hum, exciting music plays]
Debbie and Doug shout, HELP!
Debbie says, DON'T WORRY, DOUG!
THEY'RE COMING! HELP!
Pounce says, OH, COME ON, BIG TREV.
FASTER, FASTER!
MY CAST, IT'S INFLATABLE!
IT'LL FLOAT IN THE WATER!
GRAB ONTO THIS AND FLOAT!
Pounce throws his cast into the water.
[Debbie grunts, splashing]
Debbie says, THANK YOU!
Pounce shouts, NOW, STAY CALM
AND LET THE WAVES PUSH YOU
BACK TO SHORE!
Big Trev wades out and helps guide Debbie and Doug to shore. The boat with Bondi, Sandy and the other cadets arrives at the pier.
[Engine roars]
Gemma says, HEY, POUNCE, LOOK!
WE'VE RESCUED A FAMILY OF
WOMBATS.
Frizzy asks, WHAT HAVE YOU
BEEN UP TO? TAKING IT EASY?
Pounce says, UH, YEAH, SOMETHING
LIKE THAT.
[Birds chirp]
Debbie says, YOU SAVED US!
Debbie and Doug hug Pounce.
Doug says, WHAT A HERO.
Frizzy, Gemma and Neville drop their coconut wombats.
Gemma asks, YOU RESCUED TWO
REAL WOMBATS. WITH A
SPRAINED FOOT?
Big Trev says, SOMETIMES, THE SAFEST
WAY TO DO A RESCUE IS FROM THE

Bondi says, BY THROWING IN
A BODY BOARD OR A POOL NOODLE.
Pounce says, OR AN INFLATABLE CAST.
Sandy says, EXACTLY.
[Cheerful music plays]
Big Trev holds up a medallion.
Big Trev says, WELL, YOU CERTAINLY
EARNED THIS. THAT WAS EPIC!
Pounce says, THANKS, BIG TREV.
The other cadets say, YES!
Bondi throws Pounce up in the air.
Neville says, THREE CHEERS FOR POUNCE!
Everyone cheers, HOP, HOP, HURRAY!
HOP, HOP, HURRAY! HOP, HOP, HURRAY!
Pounce says, WHEE! AH!
OH, WATCH MY THUMPER!
[Everyone laughs]
Pounce says, WHEE!
[Upbeat music plays]
Voices sing, WE'RE HERE ALL SUMMER
