Surface Blaster
Brody explores the explosive trade of surface blasting when he visits Bill, a veteran blaster who teaches at Fleming College. Bill walks Brody through important safety protocols before introducing him to propellant explosives. Brody helps Bill prepare to blow up a giant cement block; they drill a deep hole into the rock, place the charge in the hole and pack it with stemming. Everyone has a blast when Brody gets to detonate the explosive!
