A girl with brown hair wears a blue shirt.

The girl says, HI, MY NAME IS JULIA.
IF I COULD BE ANYTHING,
I’D BE AN ASTRONAUT!

Opening sequence. In a montage, different kids experience an imaginative world drawn around them. A girl wears an apron and chef’s hat as she snorkels past mermaids and fish holding a tray of cupcakes. A boy wears a suit while he stands at a podium drawn in front of him. Another looks at a map with a magnifying glass. A girl wears a police uniform while another does a cartwheel. A boy wears safety goggles and a boy wears a tie.

[Upbeat music]

A voice sings, IMAGINE, IMAGINE, IMAGINE.

A female voice sings, IMAGINE POWERFUL.
IMAGINE COMICAL.
IMAGINE MAGICAL.
CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT?

Starring Julia. Julia stands at an easel. On a large piece of paper, she draws an astronaut.

In a voice over, Julia says, HI, I’M JULIA.
IF I COULD BE ANYTHING,
I’D BE AN ASTRANAUT.

Julia wears an orange spacesuit with silver boots.

Julia says, AN ASTRONAUT IS SOMEONE
WHO GOES UP INTO SPACE.

A rocket ship fires up its engines and Julia climbs aboard.

Julia says, I WOULD GO IN MY SPACESHIP.

Sheattaches a seatbelt as the countdown to launch continues. The countdown counts down from three and Julia’s rocket blasts into outer space.

Julia says, UP IN SPACE,
THE EARTH LOOKS LIKE
A BIG AND GREEN BLUE BALL.

Julia looks out a window with binoculars.

Julia says, I WOULD LEARN ALL ABOUT
THE DIFFERENT PLANETS.

Julia lowers her binoculars. She travels across the solar system.

Julia says, AND THE SUN IS REALLY HUGE.
AND BURNING HOT!

Julia waves her hand at sunlight coming in through a spaceship window.

Julia warns, IT’S DANGEROUS
TO LOOK
DIRECTLY
AT THE SUN.

Julia opens a door in the floor of her space ship.

Julia says, I WOULD WEAR
SPECIAL GLASSES
TO PROTECT
MY EYES.

She puts on a pair of dark glasses. Julia gives a thumbs up.

She says, THE SPACE SHIP WOULDN’T
GET TOO CLOSE TO THE SUN,
IT WOULD
GET REALLY HOT.

She loses control of the ship as it approaches the sun, then she floats in zero gravity.

Julia says, IN SPACE,
IT’S ALWAYS DARK.

[Yawns]

She awakes from sleep and rubs her eyes.

Julia says, SO, I DON’T KNOW
WHEN IT’S BEDTIME.
OR WHEN IT’S LUNCHTIME.
GRRR!

She rubs her rumbling stomach, then pours herself a cup of water. The water floats out of the cup and around Julia.

Julia says, UH OH.
I ALMOST FORGOT!
IN OUTER SPACE,
EVERYTHING FLOATS
‘CAUSE SPACE IS MISSING
SOMETHING CALLED ‘GRAVITY’.

Julia looks worried.

Julia says, GRAVITY MAKES
THINGS NOT FLOAT.

She sucks up floating water with a straw.

Julia says, BACK ON EARTH, GRAVITY
HOLDS US TO THE GROUND.

A cup floats past Julia.

Julia says, WITHOUT GRAVITY ,
EVERYTHING FLOATS AROUND.

She chuckles to herself as a cup floats past in zero gravity.

Julia says, GRAVITY IS DIFFERENT
ON EVERY PLANET.
ON THE MOON, GRAVITY IS SO
MUCH WEAKER THAN ON EARTH.
THAT MEANS IT WOULDN’T
HOLD ME DOWN AS MUCH.

Julia jumps around on the moon.

Julia says, SO I’D BE ABLE TO JUMP
AS HIGH AS A HOUSE!

Julia keeps jumping.

Julia says, IF I WERE AN ASTRONAUT,
I WOULD DO ALL KINDS
OF EXPERIMENTS!
ON WHAT IT’S LIKE
TO BE IN SPACE.
I WOULD ALSO
DO EXPERIMENTS
ON DIFFERENT
SPACE ROCKS.

Julia throws around different rocks.

Julia says, I WOULD FIND OUT
IF ROCKS ON MARS
ARE HEAVIER THAN
ROCKS ON THE MOON.

In the space ship, Julia types on a control panel.

Julia says, AS AN ASTRONAUT,
I WOULD WANT TO FIGURE OUT
THAT THERE IS LIFE
ON OTHER PLANETS.

Julia looks through her binoculars.

She says, I WOULD SEARCH ALL THE PLANETS,
LOOKING FOR ALIENS.

She scans the surface of a planet with the binoculars. Sitting on the planet, Julia looks thoughtful.

Julia says, HMMM…
I WONDER IF ALIENS ARE REAL.
ARE THEY GREEN
AND HAVE ANTENNAS?
OR DO THEY LIVE IN HOUSES
JUST LIKE PEOPLE?

Julia looks surprised.

She says, WOAH!
WOW!

She suddenly spots two blue skinned aliens on the planet then waves to them and flashes a peace sign.

A female voice sings, CAN YOU IMAGINE BEING
ANYTHING YOU WANT TO BE?
CAN YOU IMAGINE THERE’S
A WORLD FULL OF FANTASY?
AND IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT
LOTS, IT BECOMES SO REAL.
DID YOU KNOW?
DID YOU KNOW?
DID YOU KNOW?
THAT YOU CAN DO
ANYTHING YOU WANT TO DO.
IMAGINE THIS OR THAT,
THINK OF SOMETHING NEW.
AND YOU CAN ALWAYS
CHANGE A THING OR TWO,
ANYTHING YOU WANT
IT’S REALLY UP TO YOU.
