Marshall is a Dalmatian firefighter, white with black spots. Rubble is a brown search and rescue bulldog. Chase is a black and brown German Shepherd police dog. Rocky is a gray recycling dog. Zuma is a brown Daschund. Skye is a small fluffy brown Cocker Spaniel.

Chase hears snoring.

A megaphone comes out of his back. He shouts
PUPS, WAKE UP!

Rubble and Marshall sleep.

Skye says I CAN GET THEM UP.

She hits a small metal plate with a spoon. The chiming awakes the rest of the gang.

Rubble says HUH? BREAKFAST TIME
ALREADY?

Marshall says WHY DIDN'T YOU
WAKE ME UP?

They All laugh.

Next, Alex awaits outside Mister Porter’s store.

Alex says HEY, GRANDPA.
WHEN'S THE SCHOOL BUS
GOING TO GET HERE?
MY NEW BACKPACK'S ALL READY
AND I HAVE A TUNA SANDWICH
FOR LUNCH!

Mister Porter says SOUNDS LIKE YOU'RE READY FOR
YOUR FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL.
BETTER GRAB YOUR BACKPACK.
THE BUS WILL BE HERE SOON.

Alex says OKAY, GRANDPA!
HEY...
WHERE DID IT GO? BACKPACK,
WHERE DID I LEAVE YOU?

IT'S NOT DOWN HERE.

He searches everywhere.

Alex continues

Meanwhile, at a park, the gang is practicing some yoga.

Chase says OKAY, PUPS, TIME FOR
MORNING YOGA.
DOWNWARD DOG.
NOW, UPWARD DOG.

Marshall fell asleep.

Rocky says HEY, LOOK.
MARSHALL'S DOING THE
SNORING DOG.

They All laugh.

Ryder says TIME FOR THE PUPS' BREAKFAST.

His phone rings.

He says RYDER HERE.

Alex says RYDER, THIS IS THE BIGGEST
EMERGENCY EVER!

Ryder says WHAT'S WRONG, ALEX?

Alex says MY BRAND NEW RED BACKPACK
IS LOST
AND TODAY'S MY VERY FIRST DAY
OF SCHOOL.
CAN THE PAW PATROL HELP ME?
PLEASE?

Ryder says DON'T WORRY. WE'LL FIND
YOUR BACKPACK.
NO JOB IS TOO BIG,
NO PUP IS TOO SMALL.
PAW PATROL,
TO THE LOOKOUT!

Suddenly, the pup’s collars light up and beep.

They All say
RYDER NEEDS US!

Marshall continues to sleep but suddenly wakes up and starts running around with his head covered.

He says HUH? WHAT? I'M UP.
WHOA!
WHOA! OH, NO!
WHOA!

They All laugh.

Chase says MARSHALL, YOU HAVE
A BOWL ON YOUR HEAD.

Marshall says HUH? OH, MY BOWL. ARE WE
STILL HAVING BREAKFAST?

Everybody laugh.

They all take the elevator up. The elevator stops halfway to the lookout, and as it continues going up, all the dogs appear in their special uniforms. They get to the lookout.
(Elevator dinging)

Chase says READY FOR ACTION, RYDER,
SIR.

Alex waits for them in front of a big screen.

He says THANKS FOR GETTING HERE
SO EARLY.
WE NEED TO JUMP ON THIS
ONE FAST.
OUR BUDDY, ALEX,
LOST HIS BACKPACK...

Alex says I NEED HELP.... AND ON THE FIRST
DAY OF SCHOOL.

Skye says AWW, POOR ALEX.

Ryder continues
WE HAVE TO HELP HIM
FIND IT
BEFORE THE SCHOOL BUS
COMES TO PICK HIM UP.

Ryder shouts

He slides down a pole, and Skye and Chase go down a slide.

Ryder says WE NEED ALL PAWS ON DECK.

Ryder calls the lookout.

He says MARSHALL, I NEED YOU TO LOOK
FOR THE RED BACKPACK
AT THE PARK. ZUMA,
CHECK THE BEACH.

Zuma says WE'RE ON OUR WAY!
Rubble says GOOD LUCK, PUPS.

Marshall gets to the park. He speaks to a little bird.

He says HI, FUZZY. HAVE YOU SEEN
A RED BACKPACK AROUND HERE?

The bird chirps.

Marshall spots a red thing on top of a tree.

He says HEY, THERE IS SOMETHING
RED IN THAT TREE.

He extends out the ladder in his truck to reach the tree top.
LADDER UP!

Next, he says OH, THAT'S NOT A BACKPACK.

The bird steps on the red thing and it explodes.

Marshall says THAT'S A BALLOON.
LET'S KEEP LOOKING.

Meanwhile, Zuma checks the water. She spots something red floating nearby.

She says THERE IT IS.
HUH?

It starts moving so she goes after it.

She says COME BACK HERE, YOU SILLY
BACKPACK.

Turns out it was Wally, the seal, that was playing with a life vest.

Zuma says HEY, WALLY.

Next, Skye reports to Ryder.

She says RYDER, THE BUS IS GETTING

APPLES AT FARMER YUMI'S.

He gasps when he sees something read.

He uses the shovel in his back to dig in.

The school bus is getting closer.

Rocky is up to check on a new spot.

He says I SPY SOMETHING RED.

A claw comes out of his back and he uses it to reach the red object behind a tree.

Mayor Goodway was speaking to the press on television. She was wearing a red purse. Rocky’s claw grabs the purse by the tip and pulls it away.

Mayor Goodway says WE ARE VERY PROUD TO ANNOUNCE
ADVENTURE BAY IS ON
SOLID GR-- OH!

She falls to the floor and says OH, WHOOPSIES.

Rocky says OOPS.
SORRY, MAYOR.

Chickaletta comes out of the purse.

Rocky says YOU TOO, CHICKALETTA.

Skye phones Ryder.

She says RYDER, THE BUS IS HEADING
DOWN ALEX'S STREET.

Ryder says WE'RE GOING TO HAVE

Alex says HMM... WE WENT TO
THE STATION
TO WATCH THE TRAINS

Ryder says THE TRAIN STATION!

Ryder and Chase get on their cars and move away.

They get to the train station and spot the backpack.

Chase says THERE IT IS!

Ryder says GREAT!

GET ALEX TO SCHOOL!

Chase warns RYDER, IT'S MOVING.

Ryder says ALEX PACKED HIS
LUNCH IN THERE.
GUESS WHO'S HAVING HIS
TUNA SANDWICH FOR BREAKFAST.

Chase says AH! AH! AH...CHOO!

He sneezes and Callie comes out of the backpack.

Chase says CALLIE.

The train departs. They both try to catch it but they’re not fast enough.

Ryder says OH, NO! WAIT!
OH, NO! IT'S SPEEDING UP!

Chase says THERE GOES THE BACKPACK.


Ryder says SKYE, TRAIN STATION,
QUICK!
WE FOUND ALEX'S BACKPACK,
NOW WE JUST HAVE TO CATCH IT.

Skye says I'M ON IT.

Ryder secures himself and says OKAY, SKYE, FOLLOW
THAT TRAIN!

Skye says LET'S TAKE TO THE SKY!

Ryder’s hanging from a cable hooked to Skye’s vehicle.

Alex sees the school bus getting closer.

He says I GUESS RYDER DIDN'T FIND
MY BACKPACK IN TIME.

Mister Porter says I GUESS NOT.

Alex says I'M SORRY I LOST IT,
GRANDPA.
I REALLY WANTED MY NEW BACKPACK
FOR MY FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL.

Meanwhile, Ryder’s getting closer.

He says AH...
ALL RIGHT, SKYE, JUST
A LITTLE LOWER,
SO I CAN GRAB IT.

Next, he grabs the backpack.

He exclaims

GOT THE BACKPACK
AND CALLIE TOO!

THAT BUS!

Mister Porter says TIME TO GO, ALEX.

Alex is getting on the bus all defeated when he hears the sound of Skye’s helicopter.

He gasps.

Alex catches the backpack and shouts
YAY!
RYDER FOUND MY BACKPACK!
THIS IS GOING TO BE THE BEST
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL EVER!
THANKS, RYDER!

Ryder says YOU'RE WELCOME, ALEX.
WHENEVER YOU NEED US,
JUST YELP FOR HELP…

Skye takes flight and pulls Ryder away.

He adds
SEE YA! HAVE FUN!

Alex says THANKS, PAW PATROL!
HEY... SOMEBODY ATE
MY SANDWICH.

Callie giggles.

Alex says BYE, GRANDPA!

Mister Porter says ENJOY YOUR FIRST DAY
AT SCHOOL, ALEX!

Next, Ryder talks to the gang.

He says YOU PUPS WERE REALLY
GREAT TODAY
AND YOU MUST BE GOOD

He feeds them all one by one.
