(GIGGLING)

The narrator says THOSE ARE PRETTY SHELLS.
WHERE WILL THEY GO?

Bamboo love puts the shells on the castle towers.

The narrator says ONE, TWO, THREE AND FOUR.
THAT LOOKS GOOD...
OH I SEE, YOU NEED ONE MORE
SHELL FOR THE BIG TOWER.
NO MORE SHELLS HERE?

Bamboo Love shakes his head.

The narrator says ARE YOU GOING TO LOOK FOR
SHELLS SOMEWHERE ELSE?
THAT'S YOUR SHADOW YOU SEE
IN FRONT OF YOU.
IT'S THERE BECAUSE THE SUN
IS SHINING ON YOU.
YOU ARE BLOCKING
THE SUN RAYS
AND THAT MAKES A DARK SHAPE
AND THAT'S CALLED...
YOUR SHADOW.

Bamboo Love giggles and dances.

The narrator says I'VE FORGOTTEN WHAT
WE WERE WE LOOKING FOR?
OH, OF COURSE,
YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A SHELL.

She searches in the sand and finds one.

The narrator says HOORAY!
YOU FOUND A SHELL!
YES, I SEE,
YOUR SHADOW IS GONE.
THAT BIG CLOUD IS BLOCKING
THE LIGHT FROM THE SUN
SO IT CAN'T MAKE YOUR SHADOW.
AND NOW IT'S
STARTING TO RAIN.
IT LOOKS LIKE YOU ARE HAVING
FUN SPLASHING IN THOSE PUDDLES.

She puts the shell on the tower. The castle starts to collapse because of the rain.

The narrator says IS THERE SOMETHING BIGGER THAT
MIGHT BLOCK THE RAIN?
THE UMBRELLA!
IT IS BLOCKING THE RAIN!
GOOD JOB!

The wind blows the umbrella away.

The narrator says OH NO!
WHAT A STRONG WIND.
WHAT WILL YOU DO NOW?

She digs a ditch around the castle.

The narrator says OH, GOOD DIGGING.
AND HERE COMES DUCK
TO PLAY WITH YOU.
WELL, EVEN THOUGH THE SUN IS
GONE AND IT'S RAINING,
YOU ARE STILL
HAVING A GOOD PLAY TIME.
WHAT A CLEVER BAMBOO LOVE!

Bamboo Love and Duck splash in the puddles.

The narrator says TODAY BAMBOO LOVE LEARNED
ABOUT SHADOWS.
SHE LEARNED THAT SHADOWS
ARE MADE BY LIGHT FROM THE SUN,
CREATING SHADOWS AND...
WEATHER CAN BE FUN
RAIN OR SHINE.

(music plays)
