8 year old Ella, who has curly black hair, runs down a staircase with a toy rocket ship. She wears a teal space suit, and a helmet with animal ears.
[Giggling]
Ella runs into a living room and gives her little sister the rocket ship.
[Upbeat music plays]
A singer sings, COME WITH ME, TO THE STARS.
Ella’s mom picks up Ella’s little sister and smiles as Ella runs outside. Outside the house, in outer space, Ella runs past her dad.
The singer sings, THE GALAXY IS OURS!
Ella waves to her dad.
She says, BYE DAD!
Ella jumps onto a circular spacecraft, and takes off.
People say, LET'S GO!
The singer sings, LOOK AT ALL THE WONDER.
INTER-STELLAR.
Ella flies over a planet with Madhu, a blue and green alien, and Slippy, a boy with black hair who flies a red spacecraft.
The signer sings, LOOK UP SO MUCH SPLENDOUR.
INTER-STELLAR.
Ella flies on Madhu.
The singer sings, LOOK OUT FOR ADVENTURE.
Ella and Slippy explore a planet together with Maggie, a blue star. Elsewhere in space, Slippy and Madhu look startled.
They say, WOAH!
They dodge Ella and her moon scooter.
The singer sings, COME EXPLORE THE MILKY WAY!
Ella and her family sit on a spacecraft.
The singer sings, LOOK UP!

Ella, her family, and her friends admire a giant colourful cloud together.

[Dramatic music plays]
A person says, NOW SLIPPY HAS TAKEN THE LEAD.
Ella, Mahu and Slippy race through outer space with Ella and Slippy on their spacecrafts and Madhu flying between them. A bubble follows closely.
The person continues, BUT WHO WILL ROUND NEPTUNE'S
ICE MOON PROTEUS
AND MAKE IT BACK
TO CROSS THE FINISH LINE FIRST?
[Cheering]
The person, Ella’s dad, is talking to the friends through the video communication bubble.
Slippy says, BET YOU CAN'T CATCH ME.
Ella says, OH, YEAH?
Slippy pulls ahead.
Dad says, THEY'RE ALMOST AT NEPTUNE.
BUT CAN THEY FIND ITS MOON?
PROTEUS, ONE OF THE DARKEST
OBJECTS IN OUR SOLAR SYSTEM.
Madhu says, IT'S NOT COLORFUL LIKE ME.
Slippy says, SCAN FOR PROTEUS.
He scans ahead with his helmet visor. Locations are highlighted.
A voice lists, GALATEA.
LARISSA. DESPINA.
HIPPO CAMP. PROTEUS.
Slippy says, BINGO.
He races toward Proteus. Ella slows her moon scooter spacecraft as Slippy and Madhu speed toward the ice moon.
[Ella gasping]
Ella looks determined. She zooms past Slippy. Slippy pulls off his visor.
He says, GLITCH.
ICE PICK.
Glitch, a robot, hands Slippy an ice pick launcher.
Slippy says, I AM ALWAYS PREPARED.
He launches an ice pick into Proteus’ surface. The ice pick launcher pulls Slippy toward the ice moon.
Slippy yells, WHOA!
He swings around Proteus.
He yells, WHOA!
Slippy, Ella and Madhu round the ice moon.
Madhu says, YOU'RE IN THE HOME STRETCH.
AS IN, IF YOU STRETCH LIKE ME,
YOU'D BE HOME
ALREADY!
[Slippy yelling]
Slippy leans back in his spacecraft as he glides past Ella.
[Ella gasping]
At home, Dad smiles.
[Dad chuckling]
Dad stands beside a finish line.
Madhu says, WHO'S GOING TO WIN?
I CAN'T LOOK.
Madhu covers their eyes.
Madu says, WAIT.
I CAN'T NOT LOOK.
Madhu uncovers their eyes. Slippy and Ella race toward the finish line side by side.
Ella cheers, WAHOO!
She crosses the finish line first.
Dad says, YOU DID IT, ELLA!
CONGRATULATIONS.
Ella steps off her moon scooter.
Slippy says, I ALMOST HAD YOU.
He jumps off his spacecraft.
Ella says, MAYBE NEXT TIME.
Dad says, AND AS THE WINNER,
I HAVE A SPECIAL PRIZE FOR YOU.
[Madhu’s dramatic drumroll]
Dad hands Ella a folded paper. Ells furrows her brow.
She says, THE PRIZE IS A PIECE OF PAPER.
Dad says, NOT JUST ANY PIECE OF PAPER.
IT'S A TREASURE MAP.
A MAP SLIPPYS
DAD MADE FOR ME WHEN
WE WERE BOTH YOUR AGE.
Slippy says, MY DAD MADE THIS?
Slippy says, ASTRONOMICAL!
Dad says, I NEVER COULD FIND THE TREASURE.
BUT YOUR DAD TOLD ME IT'S
SOMETHING VERY SPECIAL.
Madhu says, OH, SPECIAL?
THAT MEANS IT'S SPECIAL!
AND THAT MEANS YOU GUYS ARE…
Together, Ella and Slippy say, TREASURE HUNTERS!
Madhu says, OOH!
Maggie appears.
She says, SCANNING
TREASURE HUNTERS TREASURE MAP.
Dad says, NOW, IF YOU'LL EXCUSE ME,
I HAVE TO MAKE
YOUR NEW BUNK BEDS.
He knocks over a coffee mug on his work table, spilling coffee on a tablet.
He says, WHOOPS!
Ella asks, ARE YOU SURE YOU DON'T NEED
HELP, DAD?
Dad says, ELLA, TRUST ME.
YOU'LL BE SLEEPING
IN A BRAND NEW BUNK BED TONIGHT.
BESIDES,
YOU HAVE TREASURE TO HUNT.
Ella says, YOU HEARD MY DAD.
She kisses her dad’s cheek, then turns to Slippy.
She says, TIME TO HUNT SOME TREASURE!
Slippy cheers, YAY!
He follows Ella back toward their spacecrafts. Dad drops the damaged tablet in a trash bin. The screen glitches. In the friends asteroid clubhouse, Maggie appears over her digital board.
She says, BEHOLD,
A MAP OF THE SOLAR SYSTEM.
The solar system is shown on the board.
Maggie says, EACH RING SHOWS A DIFFERENT
PLANET'S ORBIT AROUND THE SUN.
AND THIS IS YOUR TREASURE MAP.
She shows the treasure map over top of the solar system. Slippy, Madhu and Ella look confused. Slippy holds his robot, Glitch.
Ella says, IT DOESN'T MATCH UP AT ALL.
Slippy says, IT'S LIKE A PUZZLE PIECE
THAT DOESN'T FIT THE PUZZLE.
Madhu says, I LOVE PUZZLES,
BUT IF IT DOESN'T MATCH UP,
HOW ARE WE GOING
TO FIND THE TREASURE?
ALSO WHAT IS TREASURE?
Ella says, SOMETHING
THAT HAS LOTS OF VALUE.
Madhu asks, LIKE A BAG FULL OF HUGS?
[Ella laughing]
Madhu hugs Ella.
Ella says, TOTALLY.
She smiles, then glances at the board.
She says, WAIT.
MAGGIE,
CAN YOU TURN IT UPSIDE DOWN?
Maggie turns the treasure map upside down.
[Glitch squeaking]
Slippy says, WAIT.
WHAT IF YOU FLIP IT
LIKE A MIRROR?
The map is flipped. Three points on two lines on the map are numbered 1, 2, and 3.
Ella says, IT LINES UP.
GREAT THINKING, SLIPPY.
Slippy says, NOW WE ARE READY
TO TREASURE HUNT.
SPOILER ALERT.
I DO NOT PACK LIGHTLY
FOR ADVENTURES.
He puts down Glitch, and climbs a ladder into a storage container.
[Glitch squeaking]
Slippy says, SPYGLASS, SHOVEL, WOOD PLANKS…
He tosses items out of the container.
He continues, …WINDSHIELD WIPERS AAAAAAND,
A GIANT BEACH BALL.
Slippy holds a small ball.
[Glitch squeaking]
The small ball grows into a giant beach ball. Glitch look horrified. In front Maggie’s screen, Slippy and Ella are on their spacecrafts with Madhu between them.
Madhu asks, WHERE TO FIRST?
Slippy says, SOMEWHERE NEAR SATURN?
MAYBE IT'S RINGS?
[Glitch squeaking]
Slippy says, I KNOW.
NOT VERY SPECIFIC,
BUT NUMBER TWO IS…
Madhu interrupts and says, OOH!
I KNOW THAT PLACE.
Madhu looks at the map.
Madhu says, WAIT.
NO, I DON'T, IT'S NOWHERE.
Ella says, WAIT, NUMBER THREE LOOKS FAMILIAR.
ZOOM IN, MAGGIE.
Maggie zooms into the number 3 location on the map.
Ella says, IT'S PROTEUS!
THE MOON WE RACED TO!
LET'S GO!
She takes off on her moon scooter. Madhu and Slippy start to follow. Maggie appears beside Ella.
Maggie says, HOLD ON, PROTEUS IS STEP THREE.
WHAT ABOUT THE FIRST TWO STEPS?
Ella says, WE CAN SKIP THOSE.
THE TREASURE IS OBVIOUSLY
AT THE END.
COME ON!
She zooms ahead.
Maggie says, SKIP STEPS?
BUT IF THIRD IS FIRST, IS FIRST
NOW THIRD?
IS EVERYTHING BACKWARDS?
Slippy says, MAYBE MAGGIE'S RIGHT.
IF MY DAD MADE THIS MAP
LIKE THIS....
He frowns.
He says, …ELLA?
Ella says, COME ON, GUYS.
TREASURE AWAITS.
Slippy glances at Madhu. They follow Ella. They three friends arrive on Proteus.
Ella says, THERE IT IS!
A green chest is inside a piece of ice.
Slippy says, WHOA! YES AN ICE CHEST!
I’LL NEED A SUB-ZERO MELTER,
A CUBE PICK, A SHOVEL....
Madhu walks past Slippy.
Madhu says, I'M COMING TREASURE HUGS!
Madhu hugs the piece of ice. Slippy runs up with his tools. He pauses.
[Glitch squeaking]
Madhu releases the piece of ice, now melted, revealing the ice chest.
Slippy says, WHOA! MADHU,
YOU'RE WARM HUG DID THE TRICK!
EVEN THOUGH I DID PACK
ALL THE RIGHT TOOLS FOR THE JOB.
WHATEVER, THIS IS PRETTY GREAT.
He opens the ice chest.
[Slippy grunting]
A blue box is inside the ice chest.
[Ella gasping]
Ella takes the box out of the chest.
She says, A CUBE?
She looks disappointed. Slippy and Madhu frown.
Ella says, IT'S JUST A BOX.
Slippy says, MAYBE
THE TREASURE IS INSIDE THE BOX.
Ella shakes the box.
[Ella groaning angrily]
Ella says, NOPE.
IT'S JUST A CUBE.
THIS IS SO NOT TREASURE.
Slippy takes out the map.
He says, WHAT IF WE...
Ella interrupts and says, SORRY, SLIPPY.
She hands Slippy the box.
She says, THIS “TREASURE HUNT”
IS NOT SO “TREASURY” .
She walks away.
[Glitch squeaking]
At home, Dad looks focused.
He says, HMM.
He looks at a metal pole, then at a pieces of a bunk bed piled together.
Dad says, HMM.
A piece of the bunkbed falls.
[Crashing]
Dad says, HMM.
Ella walks by. She looks disappointed.
Dad says, HI ELLA PROPELLA!
THAT WAS QUICK.
Ella leans against the upright mattress on the poorly put together bunk bed.
[Ella groaning]
Dad asks, EVERYTHING OKAY?
HOW'D THE TREASURE HUNT GO?
[Ella sighing]
Ella says, IT DIDN'T.
She looks upset. She turns and looks at the bunk bed.
Ella says, DAD, DID YOU INVENT
A WHOLE NEW WAY TO SLEEP?
[Dad laughing nervously]
Dad says, NO.
AT LEAST NOT ON PURPOSE.
He takes the damaged tablet out of the trash.
He says, BUT THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS
WHEN YOU RUIN THE INSTRUCTIONS.
Ella says, IT'S NOT THE FIRST
TIME YOU HAVEN'T FOLLOWED
INSTRUCTIONS.
Dad says, ELLA, I LOVE INSTRUCTIONS.
Ella raises an eyebrow as she looks at her dad.
Dad says, OKAY, FINE.
SOMETIMES
I DON'T FOLLOW EVERY STEP.
He looks at a piece of the bunk bed on the work table.
He adds, BUT WHY DO ALL OF THE STEPS
WHEN THE FINISHED PRODUCT
IS REALLY THE TREASURE
AT THE END?
[Ella gasping]
Ella’s eyes widen. On the asteroid, Madhu cuddles a box. Slippy looks at the treasure map with a furrowed brow. Ella appears in a communication bubble beside them.
Ella says, GUYS!
I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING!
Slippy says, YOU SHOULD HAVE LISTENED
TO MAGGIE AND ME
AND FOLLOWED THE STEPS?
ALL OF THE STEPS?
Ella says, YEAH.
She looks embarrassed.
Madhu says, SEE?
I TOLD YOU SHE'D FIGURE IT OUT.
Ella says, WHAT DO YOU SAY?
TREASURE HUNT
BACK ON?
Slippy says, TREASURE HUNT
BACK ON!
I’LL PACK MORE GEAR.
Ella smiles. She flies her spacecraft beside Slippy’s. They look at Maggie’s screen, which shows the treasure map over top of the solar system.
Ella says, STEP ONE.
She, Slippy and Madhu arrive at the edge of floating rocks and ice.
Madhu asks, IS THAT IT?
They point toward the floating rocks and ice.
Maggie says, NO. THAT IS
JUST A ROCK.
[Madhu gasping]
Madhu says, THERE!
They point again.
Maggie says, ICEBERG.
[Madhu gasping]
Madhu says, THERE!
Madhu points elsewhere.
Maggie says, ROCK.
Madhu says, THERE!
Maggie says, ICEBERG.
Madhu says, THERE!
Maggie says, ROCK.
Madhu says, THERE!

[Madhu gasping]
Maggie says, SATURN'S RINGS
HAVE 50,000 OF THEM.
Ella says, WE'LL HAVE TO SEARCH THEM ALL.
Maggie says, THE ICE AND ROCKS ARE TOO
HARD TO TRAVEL BY SPACE SCOOTER.
Slippy says, THAT'S WHY ELLA'S GONNA SEARCH
WITH THE SNOWBOARD I PACKED.
He pulls out a snowboard and smiles.
Madhu says, WEEEE!
Slippy looks surprised. Madhu glides through Saturn’s rings.
[Madhu giggling]
Slippy frowns.
[Slippy groaning]
Slippy shakes his head. In Saturn’s rings, Ella rides Madhu like a surfboard.
Madhu says, WEEEE!
Ella and Madhu dodge the ice and rocks.
[Madhu laughing]
Madhu says, THAT TICKLES!
Slippy watches Ella and Madhu through a telescope.
He says, ASTRONOMICAL!
AND THE SUPREME SPACE BOARDER IS
ROCKING THE RING ROCK TERRAIN.
Ella and Madhu glide through the rings.
Slippy says, LOOK AT THAT DODGE!
TEN OUT OF TEN.
Ella says, TREASURE BOX! I'M GOING IN.
A treasure box floats amongst the ice and rocks. Ella and Madhu miss the box.
Slippy says, OH, AND SHE'S
OVERSHOT THE TARGET.
BUT HOLD ON.
SHE'S PULLING THE SURPRISE
HALF-CAB.
WILL SHE HIT THE TARGET?
Ella launches her space grappler at the treasure box. It grabs onto the box.
Slippy says, YES, SHE DOES!
Ella says, THAT'S
HOW TREASURE HUNTERS DO IT.
Flippy cheers, WOO-HOO!
The friends fly away from Saturn’s rings.
Ella says, I STILL DON T GET
WHY SPOT NUMBER TWO
IS IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE.
THERE'S NOTHING THERE.
[Glitch squeaking]
Slippy says, WHAT WAS THAT GLITCH? ORBIT?
[Glitch squeaking]
Slippy asks, IS THIS
THE CURRENT SOLAR SYSTEM?
Maggie says, PERFECTLY ACCURATE.
Slippy says, BUT THE PLANETS
ARE CONSTANTLY MOVING.
ALL ORBITING THE SUN.
Ella says, THERE'S NOTHING THERE NOW.
BUT THERE WAS. WHAT WAS IT?
[Glitch squeaking]
Maggie zooms in on the number 2 on the map, revealing a red planet.
Madhu says, MARS.
OH, I LOVE MARS.
The friends walk on the planet.
Madhu continues, SO RED AND SANDY AND...
Ella interrupts and says, WOO-HOO!
IT'S TREASURE TIME.
She picks up a treasure box.
[Gusting wind]
Maggie says, HOLD ON.
DUST STORM!
The friends turn and spot a giant dust storm approaching.
[Dramatic music plays]
Ella says, PLEASE TELL ME YOU
PACKED SOMETHING FOR THIS.
She, Madhu, Maggie and Slippy look worried.
Slippy says, YOU MEAN YOU WANT YOU…
YOU WANT ME TO USE
ONE OF MY THINGS?
He looks excited.
Ella says, UH-HUH!
She and Madhu nod.
Slippy cheers, WOO-HOO!
The dust storm gets closer to the friends.
Ella says, SLIPPY HURRY!
Slippy frowns. The dust storm reaches the friends.
Ella yells, AAAAH!
Madhu says, WOAHHH!
Darkness surrounds the friends.
[Gusting wind]
Slippy’s giant beach ball appears in the cloudy sand storm. The group of friends are running inside it.
Ella cheers, WOO-HOO!
[All cheering]
Slippy cheers, SLIPPY TO THE RESCUE!
[More cheering]
The friends race across the planet in the giant beach ball.
[Soft music plays]
The friends watch the sand storm from afar.
Ella says, YOU DID IT SLIPPY!
YOU'RE PACKING SAVED US.
She and Slippy fist bump.
[Slippy cheering]
[Ella giggling]
Ella says, NOW LET'S OPEN THESE TREASURES.
Madhu holds the two treasure boxes. Slippy and Ella each open one, an take out pieces of gears.
Madhu says, OH, IS THAT TREASURE?
Slippy and Ella look unsure.
Slippy asks, WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO
WITH THESE?
Ella says, I DON'T KNOW.
BUT I DO KNOW A SUPER
DUPER DAD ENGINEER WHO WILL.
At home, Ella adds a light bulb to the centre of a device made from the pieces found on the treasure hunt.
[Ella grunting]
A blue glowing wire is wrapped around the device.
Dad says, WHY DON'T YOU GIVE IT A WHIRL?
Ella turns the handle on the side of the box.
[Soft music plays]
The gear pieces start to turn, and a small light races around the glowing wire.
Slippy and Ella say, WHOA!
They look amazed.
Dad says, THIS MUST BE THE RACE
COURSE SLIPPYS
DAD MADE FOR ME AS A REWARD
FOR FINDING THE TREASURE.
Madhu says, THIS IS BETTER THAN
A BAG OF HUGS!
Ella and Slippy smile at each other.
Ella says, REMATCH?
[Dad chuckling]
[Ella laughing]
Ella and Slippy run to their spacecrafts.
[Slippy cheering]
The two friends fly away on their spacecrafts.
[Snoring]
[Dad chuckling]
Dad turns, and finds Madhu asleep on the bottom bunk of the completed bunk bed.
[Madhu snoring]
[Soft music plays]

Ella steps off her moon scooter.
Slippy says, I ALMOST HAD YOU.
He jumps off his spacecraft.
Ella says, MAYBE NEXT TIME.
Dad says, AND AS THE WINNER,
I HAVE A SPECIAL PRIZE FOR YOU.
[Madhu’s dramatic drumroll]
Dad hands Ella a folded paper. Ells furrows her brow.
She says, THE PRIZE IS A PIECE OF PAPER.
Dad says, NOT JUST ANY PIECE OF PAPER.
IT'S A TREASURE MAP.
A MAP SLIPPYS
DAD MADE FOR ME WHEN
WE WERE BOTH YOUR AGE.
Slippy says, MY DAD MADE THIS?
Slippy says, ASTRONOMICAL!
Dad says, I NEVER COULD FIND THE TREASURE.
BUT YOUR DAD TOLD ME IT'S
SOMETHING VERY SPECIAL.
Madhu says, OH, SPECIAL?
THAT MEANS IT'S SPECIAL!
AND THAT MEANS YOU GUYS ARE…
Together, Ella and Slippy say, TREASURE HUNTERS!
Madhu says, OOH!
Maggie appears.
She says, SCANNING
TREASURE HUNTERS TREASURE MAP.
Dad says, NOW, IF YOU'LL EXCUSE ME,
I HAVE TO MAKE
YOUR NEW BUNK BEDS.
He knocks over a coffee mug on his work table, spilling coffee on a tablet.
He says, WHOOPS!
Ella asks, ARE YOU SURE YOU DON'T NEED
HELP, DAD?
Dad says, ELLA, TRUST ME.
YOU'LL BE SLEEPING
IN A BRAND NEW BUNK BED TONIGHT.
BESIDES,
YOU HAVE TREASURE TO HUNT.
Ella says, YOU HEARD MY DAD.
She kisses her dad’s cheek, then turns to Slippy.
She says, TIME TO HUNT SOME TREASURE!
Slippy cheers, YAY!
He follows Ella back toward their spacecrafts. Dad drops the damaged tablet in a trash bin. The screen glitches. In the friends asteroid clubhouse, Maggie appears over her digital board.
She says, BEHOLD,
A MAP OF THE SOLAR SYSTEM.
The solar system is shown on the board.
Maggie says, EACH RING SHOWS A DIFFERENT
PLANET'S ORBIT AROUND THE SUN.
AND THIS IS YOUR TREASURE MAP.
She shows the treasure map over top of the solar system. Slippy, Madhu and Ella look confused. Slippy holds his robot, Glitch.
Ella says, IT DOESN'T MATCH UP AT ALL.
Slippy says, IT'S LIKE A PUZZLE PIECE
THAT DOESN'T FIT THE PUZZLE.
Madhu says, I LOVE PUZZLES,
BUT IF IT DOESN'T MATCH UP,
HOW ARE WE GOING
TO FIND THE TREASURE?
ALSO WHAT IS TREASURE?
Ella says, SOMETHING
THAT HAS LOTS OF VALUE.
Madhu asks, LIKE A BAG FULL OF HUGS?
[Ella laughing]
Madhu hugs Ella.
Ella says, TOTALLY.
She smiles, then glances at the board.
She says, WAIT.
MAGGIE,
CAN YOU TURN IT UPSIDE DOWN?
Maggie turns the treasure map upside down.
[Glitch squeaking]
Slippy says, WAIT.
WHAT IF YOU FLIP IT
LIKE A MIRROR?
The map is flipped. Three points on two lines on the map are numbered 1, 2, and 3.
Ella says, IT LINES UP.
GREAT THINKING, SLIPPY.
Slippy says, NOW WE ARE READY
TO TREASURE HUNT.
SPOILER ALERT.
I DO NOT PACK LIGHTLY
FOR ADVENTURES.
He puts down Glitch, and climbs a ladder into a storage container.
[Glitch squeaking]
Slippy says, SPYGLASS, SHOVEL, WOOD PLANKS…
He tosses items out of the container.
He continues, …WINDSHIELD WIPERS AAAAAAND,
A GIANT BEACH BALL.
Slippy holds a small ball.
[Glitch squeaking]
The small ball grows into a giant beach ball. Glitch look horrified. In front Maggie’s screen, Slippy and Ella are on their spacecrafts with Madhu between them.
Madhu asks, WHERE TO FIRST?
Slippy says, SOMEWHERE NEAR SATURN?
MAYBE IT'S RINGS?
[Glitch squeaking]
Slippy says, I KNOW.
NOT VERY SPECIFIC,
BUT NUMBER TWO IS…
Madhu interrupts and says, OOH!
I KNOW THAT PLACE.
Madhu looks at the map.
Madhu says, WAIT.
NO, I DON'T, IT'S NOWHERE.
Ella says, WAIT, NUMBER THREE LOOKS FAMILIAR.
ZOOM IN, MAGGIE.
Maggie zooms into the number 3 location on the map.
Ella says, IT'S PROTEUS!
THE MOON WE RACED TO!
LET'S GO!
She takes off on her moon scooter. Madhu and Slippy start to follow. Maggie appears beside Ella.
Maggie says, HOLD ON, PROTEUS IS STEP THREE.
WHAT ABOUT THE FIRST TWO STEPS?
Ella says, WE CAN SKIP THOSE.
THE TREASURE IS OBVIOUSLY
AT THE END.
COME ON!
She zooms ahead.
Maggie says, SKIP STEPS?
BUT IF THIRD IS FIRST, IS FIRST
NOW THIRD?
IS EVERYTHING BACKWARDS?
Slippy says, MAYBE MAGGIE'S RIGHT.
IF MY DAD MADE THIS MAP
LIKE THIS....
He frowns.
He says, …ELLA?
Ella says, COME ON, GUYS.
TREASURE AWAITS.
Slippy glances at Madhu. They follow Ella. They three friends arrive on Proteus.
Ella says, THERE IT IS!
A green chest is inside a piece of ice.
Slippy says, WHOA! YES AN ICE CHEST!
I’LL NEED A SUB-ZERO MELTER,
A CUBE PICK, A SHOVEL....
Madhu walks past Slippy.
Madhu says, I'M COMING TREASURE HUGS!
Madhu hugs the piece of ice. Slippy runs up with his tools. He pauses.
[Glitch squeaking]
Madhu releases the piece of ice, now melted, revealing the ice chest.
Slippy says, WHOA! MADHU,
YOU'RE WARM HUG DID THE TRICK!
EVEN THOUGH I DID PACK
ALL THE RIGHT TOOLS FOR THE JOB.
WHATEVER, THIS IS PRETTY GREAT.
He opens the ice chest.
[Slippy grunting]
A blue box is inside the ice chest.
[Ella gasping]
Ella takes the box out of the chest.
She says, A CUBE?
She looks disappointed. Slippy and Madhu frown.
Ella says, IT'S JUST A BOX.
Slippy says, MAYBE
THE TREASURE IS INSIDE THE BOX.
Ella shakes the box.
[Ella groaning angrily]
Ella says, NOPE.
IT'S JUST A CUBE.
THIS IS SO NOT TREASURE.
Slippy takes out the map.
He says, WHAT IF WE...
Ella interrupts and says, SORRY, SLIPPY.
She hands Slippy the box.
She says, THIS “TREASURE HUNT”
IS NOT SO “TREASURY” .
She walks away.
[Glitch squeaking]
At home, Dad looks focused.
He says, HMM.
He looks at a metal pole, then at a pieces of a bunk bed piled together.
Dad says, HMM.
A piece of the bunkbed falls.
[Crashing]
Dad says, HMM.
Ella walks by. She looks disappointed.
Dad says, HI ELLA PROPELLA!
THAT WAS QUICK.
Ella leans against the upright mattress on the poorly put together bunk bed.
[Ella groaning]
Dad asks, EVERYTHING OKAY?
HOW'D THE TREASURE HUNT GO?
[Ella sighing]
Ella says, IT DIDN'T.
She looks upset. She turns and looks at the bunk bed.
Ella says, DAD, DID YOU INVENT
A WHOLE NEW WAY TO SLEEP?
[Dad laughing nervously]
Dad says, NO.
AT LEAST NOT ON PURPOSE.
He takes the damaged tablet out of the trash.
He says, BUT THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS
WHEN YOU RUIN THE INSTRUCTIONS.
Ella says, IT'S NOT THE FIRST
TIME YOU HAVEN'T FOLLOWED
INSTRUCTIONS.
Dad says, ELLA, I LOVE INSTRUCTIONS.
Ella raises an eyebrow as she looks at her dad.
Dad says, OKAY, FINE.
SOMETIMES
I DON'T FOLLOW EVERY STEP.
He looks at a piece of the bunk bed on the work table.
He adds, BUT WHY DO ALL OF THE STEPS
WHEN THE FINISHED PRODUCT
IS REALLY THE TREASURE
AT THE END?
[Ella gasping]
Ella’s eyes widen. On the asteroid, Madhu cuddles a box. Slippy looks at the treasure map with a furrowed brow. Ella appears in a communication bubble beside them.
Ella says, GUYS!
I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING!
Slippy says, YOU SHOULD HAVE LISTENED
TO MAGGIE AND ME
AND FOLLOWED THE STEPS?
ALL OF THE STEPS?
Ella says, YEAH.
She looks embarrassed.
Madhu says, SEE?
I TOLD YOU SHE'D FIGURE IT OUT.
Ella says, WHAT DO YOU SAY?
TREASURE HUNT
BACK ON?
Slippy says, TREASURE HUNT
BACK ON!
I’LL PACK MORE GEAR.
Ella smiles. She flies her spacecraft beside Slippy’s. They look at Maggie’s screen, which shows the treasure map over top of the solar system.
Ella says, STEP ONE.
She, Slippy and Madhu arrive at the edge of floating rocks and ice.
Madhu asks, IS THAT IT?
They point toward the floating rocks and ice.
Maggie says, NO. THAT IS
JUST A ROCK.
[Madhu gasping]
Madhu says, THERE!
They point again.
Maggie says, ICEBERG.
[Madhu gasping]
Madhu says, THERE!
Madhu points elsewhere.
Maggie says, ROCK.
Madhu says, THERE!
Maggie says, ICEBERG.
Madhu says, THERE!
Maggie says, ROCK.
Madhu says, THERE!
Maggie says, ROCK, ROCK, ICEBERG.
[Madhu gasping]
Maggie says, SATURN'S RINGS
HAVE 50,000 OF THEM.
Ella says, WE'LL HAVE TO SEARCH THEM ALL.
Maggie says, THE ICE AND ROCKS ARE TOO
HARD TO TRAVEL BY SPACE SCOOTER.
Slippy says, THAT'S WHY ELLA'S GONNA SEARCH
WITH THE SNOWBOARD I PACKED.
He pulls out a snowboard and smiles.
Madhu says, WEEEE!
Slippy looks surprised. Madhu glides through Saturn’s rings.
[Madhu giggling]
Slippy frowns.
[Slippy groaning]
Slippy shakes his head. In Saturn’s rings, Ella rides Madhu like a surfboard.
Madhu says, WEEEE!
Ella and Madhu dodge the ice and rocks.
[Madhu laughing]
Madhu says, THAT TICKLES!
Slippy watches Ella and Madhu through a telescope.
He says, ASTRONOMICAL!
AND THE SUPREME SPACE BOARDER IS
ROCKING THE RING ROCK TERRAIN.
Ella and Madhu glide through the rings.
Slippy says, LOOK AT THAT DODGE!
TEN OUT OF TEN.
Ella says, TREASURE BOX! I'M GOING IN.
A treasure box floats amongst the ice and rocks. Ella and Madhu miss the box.
Slippy says, OH, AND SHE'S
OVERSHOT THE TARGET.
BUT HOLD ON.
SHE'S PULLING THE SURPRISE
HALF-CAB.
WILL SHE HIT THE TARGET?
Ella launches her space grappler at the treasure box. It grabs onto the box.
Slippy says, YES, SHE DOES!
Ella says, THAT'S
HOW TREASURE HUNTERS DO IT.
Flippy cheers, WOO-HOO!
The friends fly away from Saturn’s rings.
Ella says, I STILL DON T GET
WHY SPOT NUMBER TWO
IS IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE.
THERE'S NOTHING THERE.
[Glitch squeaking]
Slippy says, WHAT WAS THAT GLITCH? ORBIT?
[Glitch squeaking]
Slippy asks, IS THIS
THE CURRENT SOLAR SYSTEM?
Maggie says, PERFECTLY ACCURATE.
Slippy says, BUT THE PLANETS
ARE CONSTANTLY MOVING.
ALL ORBITING THE SUN.
Ella says, THERE'S NOTHING THERE NOW.
BUT THERE WAS. WHAT WAS IT?
[Glitch squeaking]
Maggie zooms in on the number 2 on the map, revealing a red planet.
Madhu says, MARS.
OH, I LOVE MARS.
The friends walk on the planet.
Madhu continues, SO RED AND SANDY AND...
Ella interrupts and says, WOO-HOO!
IT'S TREASURE TIME.
She picks up a treasure box.
[Gusting wind]
Maggie says, HOLD ON.
DUST STORM!
The friends turn and spot a giant dust storm approaching.
[Dramatic music plays]
Ella says, PLEASE TELL ME YOU
PACKED SOMETHING FOR THIS.
She, Madhu, Maggie and Slippy look worried.
Slippy says, YOU MEAN YOU WANT YOU…
YOU WANT ME TO USE
ONE OF MY THINGS?
He looks excited.
Ella says, UH-HUH!
She and Madhu nod.
Slippy cheers, WOO-HOO!
The dust storm gets closer to the friends.
Ella says, SLIPPY HURRY!
Slippy frowns. The dust storm reaches the friends.
Ella yells, AAAAH!
Madhu says, WOAHHH!
Darkness surrounds the friends.
[Gusting wind]
Slippy’s giant beach ball appears in the cloudy sand storm. The group of friends are running inside it.
Ella cheers, WOO-HOO!
[All cheering]
Slippy cheers, SLIPPY TO THE RESCUE!
[More cheering]
The friends race across the planet in the giant beach ball.
[Soft music plays]
The friends watch the sand storm from afar.
Ella says, YOU DID IT SLIPPY!
YOU'RE PACKING SAVED US.
She and Slippy fist bump.
[Slippy cheering]
[Ella giggling]
Ella says, NOW LET'S OPEN THESE TREASURES.
Madhu holds the two treasure boxes. Slippy and Ella each open one, an take out pieces of gears.
Madhu says, OH, IS THAT TREASURE?
Slippy and Ella look unsure.
Slippy asks, WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO
WITH THESE?
Ella says, I DON'T KNOW.
BUT I DO KNOW A SUPER
DUPER DAD ENGINEER WHO WILL.
At home, Ella adds a light bulb to the centre of a device made from the pieces found on the treasure hunt.
[Ella grunting]
A blue glowing wire is wrapped around the device.
Dad says, WHY DON'T YOU GIVE IT A WHIRL?
Ella turns the handle on the side of the box.
[Soft music plays]
The gear pieces start to turn, and a small light races around the glowing wire.
Slippy and Ella say, WHOA!
They look amazed.
Dad says, THIS MUST BE THE RACE
COURSE SLIPPYS
DAD MADE FOR ME AS A REWARD
FOR FINDING THE TREASURE.
Madhu says, THIS IS BETTER THAN
A BAG OF HUGS!
Ella and Slippy smile at each other.
Ella says, REMATCH?
[Dad chuckling]
[Ella laughing]
Ella and Slippy run to their spacecrafts.
[Slippy cheering]
The two friends fly away on their spacecrafts.
[Snoring]
[Dad chuckling]
Dad turns, and finds Madhu asleep on the bottom bunk of the completed bunk bed.
[Madhu snoring]
[Soft music plays]
