[Bright music plays]

A person says, WHEE!

[Giggling]

TVOKids + Apartment 11 Productions + Fabrique Fantastique Original.

[Soft music plays]

8 year old Ella, who has curly black hair, runs down a staircase with a toy rocket ship. She wears a teal space suit, and a helmet with animal ears.

[Giggling]

Ella runs into a living room and gives her little sister, Tilly, the rocket ship.

[Upbeat music plays]

A singer sings, COME WITH ME, TO THE STARS.

Ella’s mom picks up Ella’s little sister and smiles as Ella runs outside. Outside the house, in outer space, Ella runs past her dad.

The singer sings, THE GALAXY IS OURS!

Ella waves to her dad.

She says, BYE DAD!

Ella jumps onto her moon scooter, a circular spacecraft, and takes off.

People say, LET'S GO!

The singer sings, LOOK AT ALL THE WONDER.
INTER-STELLAR.

Ella flies over a planet with Madhu, a blue and green alien, and Slippy, a boy with black hair who flies a red spacecraft.

The signer sings, LOOK UP SO MUCH SPLENDOUR.
INTER-STELLAR.

Ella flies on Madhu.

The singer sings, LOOK OUT FOR ADVENTURE.

Ella and Slippy explore a planet together with Maggie, a blue star. Elsewhere in space, Slippy and Madhu look startled.

They say, WOAH!

They dodge Ella and her moon scooter.

The singer sings, COME EXPLORE THE MILKY WAY!

Ella and her family sit on a spacecraft.

The singer sings, LOOK UP!
INTERSTELLAR ELLA.

Ella, her family, and her friends admire a giant colourful cloud together.

TVOKids Presents, Interstellar Ella.

[Funky music plays]

Stars surround Ella’s toy rocket ship.

Ella says, OH NO, WE WILL NEVER
MAKE IT TO JUPITER.

Slippy says, DON T LET THE SPACE
MONSTERS WIN!

Ella says, WE WON’T! EVERYONE IS
COUNTING ON US!

At the friend’s clubhouse, Madhu stands behind planets hanging from strings.

Ella says, WAIT, WHAT'S THAT?

Madhu says, WOOH!

Slippy says, SPACE MONSTER, ABORT MISSION!

Madhu holds a ring with the hanging planets. Slippy tickles Madhu’s side with the toy rocket ship.

[Madhu giggling]

Madhu falls toward Slippy with the hanging solar system. The rocket ship flies out of Slippy’s hand.

Slippy says, WHOA!

Ella jumps back from the falling rocket ship. The rocket ship bounces off the ground behind her.

[Laughing]

Ella stumbles and falls.

She says, WOAH!

Pieces of the friend’s clubhouse fall apart.

[Crashing]

Dust billows around the clubhouse. Madhu lies on their back.

They say, OOPSIE. I GUESS I
SHOOK TOO MUCH.

[Ella laughing]

Ella says, IT'S OKAY.
ONCE IT'S BACK TOGETHER,
THE SPACESHIP,
ELLA-SLIPPY-MADHU,
WILL SAVE THE GALAXY.

Ella helps Madhu up off the ground.

[Cheerful music]

Slippy’s robot, Glitch, helps the three friends clean up their clubhouse. He uses a vacuum like tube to suck up things up off the ground. Later, Ella adjusts a planet on the solar system. Slippy and Madhu smile.

Madhu says, OH, I'VE WANNA FLY THE ROCKET
SHIP THIS TIME!
I HAVE A ROCKET SHIP
FLYING SONG AND EVERYTHING!

Slippy says, SURE.

He looks around the clubhouse.

He says, ELLA, DO YOU HAVE THE ROCKET SHIP?

Madhu says, MAYBE IT'S ZOOMED AWAY.

Maggie appears.

She says, THE ROCKET SHIP IS MADE
OF A RUBBER
LIKE SUBSTANCE CALLED SILICONE.
IT CANNOT POSSIBLY FLY
ON ITS OWN.

Slippy says, GLITCH.
DID YOU SEE IT WHEN YOU WERE
VACUUMING?

[Glitch squeaking]

Glitch shakes his head. The friends look around the clubhouse.

[Squishing]

Slippy pauses and looks at the bottom of his book.

He says, HUH?

Slippy kneels and looks at a yellow goo.

He says, GUYS, LOOK.
SLIME. SILICONE.
SILICON!
GUYS, DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS IS?

Slippy climbs into the clubhouse storage container.

Ella says, UH, GROSS?

Slippy says, PROOF THAT A SPACE MONSTER
TOOK MY ROCKET SHIP.

He pulls out a book with a picture of a jellyfish-like creature on the cover.

Slippy says, THIS SPACE MONSTER!

Ella glances at Madhu.

She says, SLIPPY SPACE MONSTERS
DON'T EXIST.

Slippy says, BUT THE SILICONE JELLYFISH DOES.

He shows Ella a picture of the jellyfish-like creature. Ella takes the book from Slippy.

She says, WAIT, SO YOU
THINK THE SILICONE
JELLYFISH TOOK OUR SILICONE TOY?

Ella looks skeptical.

She says, THEY'RE TOTALLY DIFFERENT
THINGS.

Maggie says, THERE HAS NEVER BEEN
ANY REAL PROOF
THAT THE SILICONE
JELLYFISH EXISTS.

Ella says, AND I READ THIS BOOK, TOO.
IT SAYS THE JELLYFISH
IS ONLY A RUMOR.

She shows Slippy a picture in the book of scientists shrugging.

Madhu says, RUMOR? HMM.
NOT LOOKING GOOD SLIPPY.

Slippy takes the book back from Ella.

He says, WELL, MY GRANDMA GLAPPY SAYS
SHE'S PRETTY SURE SHE SAW ONE
WHEN SHE WAS A LITTLE GIRL
AND SHE NEVER FIBS.

Madhu says, OOH!
THEN THE JELLYFISH MUST BE REAL.

Ella sits on the clubhouse couch. She looks bored.

Maggie says, THOSE WHO CLAIM
TO HAVE SEEN IT
SAY THE JELLYFISH USES
ITS ORANGE BELLY TO BLEND IN.
SO IT IS ABLE TO HIDE IN
THE ATMOSPHERE OF
GAS PLANETS LIKE JUPITER.

Slippy says, THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT GRANDMA
GLAPPY SAID.
I'M GOING TO FIND THAT
SILICON JELLYFISH
AND GET OUR ROCKET SHIP
BACK, WHO'S WITH ME?

Ella hangs upside down on the couch. Madhu sits beside her.

She says, IF YOU GO TO JUPITER,
I WOULD ADVISE YOU TO BE CAREFUL
AROUND THE GREAT RED SPOT.
WINDS THERE CAN REACH UP TO 432
KILOMETERS PER HOUR.

Ella flips upright.

She says, WOW. THIS IS VERY WINDY.
OKAY, I'LL COME WITH YOU SLIPPY.
WE CAN CAREFULLY
CHECK OUT THE GREAT RED SPOT
WHILE YOU TRY
AND FIND YOUR
SILICON JELLYFISH.

Slippy says, OH, WE WILL FIND IT. YOU'LL SEE.

Madhu says, YAY! WE'RE GOING TO
FIND A NEW FRIEND.
OOH, I SHOULD PRACTICE
MY NEW FRIEND.
WAVE.

Madhu waves both their arms.

Madhu says, HI, HI!
HI!
HEY!

An asteroid is scanned.

Slippy says, KEEP YOUR EYES WIDE OPEN, MADHU.
WE DON'T WANT TO MISS THE SILCON
JELLYFISH.

He sits on his space racer. Madhu floats past.

Madhu says, THEY'RE WIDE OPEN.
AND I SEE SOMETHING.

Slippy says, WHERE? WHERE!

Madhu says, IT'S ELLA, HI ELLA!
HI!

Ella flies over to Slippy and Madhu on her moon scooter.

She says, I BROUGHT MY MOM'S
SIGNAL DETECTOR, SLIPPY
JUST LIKE YOU ASKED.

Slippy slides on his helmet visor

He says, COOL! TO JUPITER!

The friends fly through the galaxy.

[Cheerful music]

Slippy looks around him. He glances to his right.

He says, HUH?

He stops his space racer.

He says, WAIT,
I SEE SOMETHING OVER THERE.

Maggie says, GANYMEDE.
ONE OF JUPITER'S MOONS
AND THE NINTH LARGEST OBJECT
IN THE SOLAR SYSTEM.
40% OF ITS SURFACE
IS COVERED IN CRATERS.

Slippy says, PERFECT FOR A SILICON JELLYFISH
WHO DOESN'T WANT TO BE FOUND.
LET'S DO THIS!

He races toward the Ganymede. Ella looks at Madhu and smiles. They follow Slippy. On Ganymede, Ella looks at a tablet with a furrowed brow. She walks around with Slippy.

Slippy says, SEEING A REAL LIVE
SILICON JELLYFISH IS
GOING TO BE ASTRONOMICAL.
SOON YOU WILL BELIEVE.

Ella smiles at Slippy.

[Beeping]

Ella says, HUH, I'M PICKING UP SOME ENERGY.

She looks at the tablet.

Slippy asks, IS IT THE SILICONE
JELLYFISH?

He runs up to Ella.

He says, WE FOUND IT ALREADY?
WAIT TILL I TELL
GRANDMA GLAPPY.

Ella moves the tablet toward Madhu, who is now orange and blue.

Ella says, MADHU?
YOU'RE GIVING OFF
SOME STRONG ENERGY.

Slippy looks disappointed.

[Madhu and Ella giggling]

Madhu says, SORRY.
I'M JUST SO EXCITED
TO MEET THE SILICON JELLYFISH!

Madhu takes a deep breath and returns to their normal blue and green colour.

[Madhu giggling]

Slippy turns around. He looks sad. His eyes widen.

He says, WHAT'S THAT?
QUICK GLITCH,
I NEED MY TRACK ANALYZER.

Glitch brings Slippy his track analyzer. Slippy follows tracks in the ground with the device.

[Track analyzer humming]

Maggie says, IF A SILICON JELLYFISH WAS REAL,
THEN BASED ON THE DRAWINGS,
IT WOULD FLOAT. IT COULD NOT
MAKE THOSE TRACKS
ON THE MOON'S SURFACE.

Slippy says, MY TRACK ANALYZER HAS
NEVER BEEN WRONG, MAGGIE.

He bumps the track analyzer into the back of Ella’s boots.

Slippy says, OH…

He looks disappointed.

Madhu says, MAYBE WE NEED TO LOOK FOR
SOMETHING ELSE?
IT SAYS THEY COMMUNICATE
WITH PULSES OF LIGHT.
WHOO! I LIKE LIGHT!

Slippy says, I'VE GOT A TON OF GEAR
TO PUT ON A SUPER LIGHT SHOW
AND GET THAT SILICON
JELLYFISH TO COME TO US.

Ella says, I GUESS WE COULD SET UP
THE LIGHTS
IN JUPITER'S ATMOSPHERE.
MAGGIE SAID
THAT'S WHERE THEY HIDE.

Maggie says, NO, I SAID.
IF THEY EXIST,
IT IS POSSIBLE THAT...

Slippy speaks over Maggie.

He says, TO JUPITER'S ATMOSPHERE!

Slippy runs across the moon with his track analyzer. He looks excited.

[Ella giggling]

In Jupiter’s atmosphere, the friends fly through dark, orange clouds.

[Wind gusting]

Madhu calls out, HI, HI!
HI!

Ella loudly says, THIS PLACE IS INTERSTELLAR!
I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO
SEE IT UP CLOSE.

Slippy loudly responds, MAYBE THIS ISN'T
THE BEST PLACE TO DO THIS.
IT'S REALLY WINDY.

A flag flies out of his hand. Ella grabs it.

She yells, IT'S JUST A LITTLE WIND.
WE'VE GOT THIS.
NO WORRY.

She hands Slippy his flag. Glitch hands Madhu two flashlights. Madhu shines the flashlights.

Madhu says, HERE WE ARE
SILICON JELLYFISH!
COME TO US!
WE'RE FRIENDLY!

Madhu does their new friend wave.

[Madhu giggling happily]

Ella pulls a long, glowing red pole out of Glitch.

She says, WHOA!
YOU CAN FIT A LOT IN GLITCH.

Madhu flies by Ella.

Madhu cheers, WOO-HOO-HOO!

[Ella giggling]

Ella and Madhu wave their lights.

[Ella and Madhu laughing]

Slippy calls out, IF THIS DOESN’T ATTRACT
THE SILICON JELLYFISH
I DON T KNOW WHAT WILL.

He turns on multiple lights tied to his space racer.

Madhu and Ella say, WOAH!

Madhu raises their flashlights.

Madhu says, HELLO, FRIEND,
CAN YOU SEE US?

Ella waves her glowing light.

Madhu says, HI! HI, HI!

Slippy looks through a telescope device. Ella flies up beside him.

Slippy says, I SEE SOMETHING ORANGE.

He hands Ella the device and flies away on his racer. Ella looks through the device.

She says, IT LOOKS MORE RED TO ME.

A cloud clears her view.

[Ella gasping]

Ella says, IT'S THE GREAT RED
SPOT OF JUPITER.

The Great Red Spot of Jupiter’s swirling clouds look like a tornedo.

Ella says, I CAN'T BELIEVE THE STORM WINDS
MAKE IT ALL THE WAY UP HERE.

Slippy says, I'M GONNA GET A CLOSER LOOK.

He flies closer to the Great Red Spot. Maggie appears from Ella’s watch.

She says, NO SLIPPY.
THE WINDS ARE TOO POWERFUL.

Ella quickly hops on her moon scooter. She looks determined as flies up to Slippy and blocks his path.

Ella says, SLIPPY STOP!
MAGGIE'S RIGHT!
THIS IS…SO COOL BUT DANGEROUS.

Slippy says, I REALLY WANT TO PROVE MY
GRANDMA
GLAPPY WASN'T MAKING IT UP.

Ella says, I KNOW.
AND I REALLY WANT TO SEE
THE RED SPOT
UP CLOSE, BUT IT'S NOT WORTH IT.

A gust of wind flips Ella and Slippy’s spacecrafts.

Ella and Slippy say, WHOA!

The lights on Slippy’s racer flicker.

Ella says, WE NEED TO MOVE.

She and Slippy fly away from the Red Spot.

Ella says, MAYBE WE CAN SEARCH FOR
THE JELLYFISH SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Slippy looks sad.

[Slipping groaning]

He says, MAYBE WE SHOULD JUST FORGET IT.

[Sad music plays]

Ella and Slippy join Glitch and Madhu. Madhu reads Slippy’s Silicone Jellyfish book.

[Slippy groaning sadly]

Madhu says, I WAS ALSO LOOKING FORWARD
TO MEETING THE SILICON
JELLYFISH.

Madhu turns the book to Ella and Slippy.

Madhu says, JUST LOOK AT ALL
THOSE DANGLY TENTACLES.

Madhu wiggles their arms and legs like tentacles. Maggie appears from Ella’s watch.

She says, IF THIS JELLYFISH WERE TO EXIST,
AND IT DOES NOT,
THOSE TENTACLES
WOULD HELP THEM FLOAT.

Ella says, HEY, MAYBE IF THE SILICON
JELLYFISH SAW ANOTHER ONE,
IT WOULD COME SAY HI, RIGHT?

Slippy slowly smiles.

He says, HMM…

Slippy sits behind a disco ball on his space racer.

He says, READY?

[Magical music plays]

He looks at Madhu and Ella. Madhu hovers between Slippy and Ella. Strips of fabric are tied together to Madhu’s feet, and Slippy and Ella’s spacecrafts. They look like tentacles. Madhu holds onto Slippy and Ella’s spacecrafts.

Together, Ella and Madhu say, READY.

Slippy says, AND NOW TO MAKE SURE
THE SILICON JELLYFISH
CAN'T MISS US.

He presses a button on a remote. Lights on the spacecrafts light up.

Madhu says, WOAH!

Ella says, INTERSTELLAR!

Slippy says, WE SHOULD GET THEM MOVING
LIKE A SILICON JELLYFISH.

Ella says, LET'S BRING IT INTO THE WIND.

Slippy glances at the Red Spot.

Ella says, NOT BACK THERE,
OVER HERE.
COME ON!

The friends turn and fly away from the Red Spot. The fabric tentacles dangle below them and sway with the wind.

[Upbeat music plays]

[Wind gusting]

Ella says, THIS IS GREAT!
IT'S LIKE WE’RE A
REAL SILICON JELLYFISH!

Slippy smiles.

Maggie warns, BE CAREFUL.
JUPITER'S WINDS ARE...

A gust of wind suddenly blows the friends backward.

They all say, WHOA!

The fabric tentacles get tangled together like a rope as the group is blown toward the Red Spot. Ella and Slippy look scared. Slippy and Ella hold onto the side of Ella’s moon scooter.

Ella says, MADHU! HELP!

[Slippy yelling]

Madhu pulls on the rope of fabric tentacles.

[Madhu grunting]

Ella and Slippy say, WHOA!

They get pulled closer to the Red Spot. Madhu pulls harder on the rope.

Slippy says, PULL HARDER!

Madhu yanks hard on the rope, flipping Slippy and Ella’s spacecrafts as the rope unwraps like a braid. The spacecrafts spin.

Slippy says, WHOA!

Ella says, PULL SOFTER!

Slippy crashes into Ella and grabs onto her moon scooter.

He says, WHOA!

Ella says, NO PULL HARDER!

Madhu says, IT'S NOT WORKING!

The friends are pulled closer to the Red Spot.

Ella says, WHAT WOULD THE JELLYFISH DO?
MOVE ITS TENTACLES?

Slippy says, WAIT! THAT'S HOW IT
PROPELS ITSELF.
WHAT IF WE BOTH
FIRE OUR ENGINES?

Madhu says, AND I’LL PULL!

Maggie appears and says, THAT COULD WORK.

Ella says, OKAY.

She grabs her controls.

She counts, ONE, TWO, THREE!

[Madhu grunting]

The friends are pulled backward, away from the Red Spot.

Slippy says, WHOA!

Madhu says, WHOA!

[Madhu groaning]

The friends fly further away from the Red Spot.

Slippy says, WOAH, WOAH!

Together, Ella and Slippy say, WOAAH!

They escape Jupiter’s atmosphere. Puffs of clouds follow them out. Glitch’s storage compartment opens. The silicone rocket ship and other toys float out. Slippy and Ella float among the toys and their spacecrafts. They look shocked. Madhu joins them.

Madhu says, PHEW!
YOU'RE OKAY.
I'VE NEVER SEEN ANYONE SPIN
SO MUCH.
MAYBE THE SILICON
JELLYFISH SAW YOU!

Glitch collects the floating toys and puts them back in his storage compartment. He grabs the silicone rocket ship.

Ella says, UH, ISN'T THAT…

Slippy says, …THE SILICONE
ROCKET SHIP?
I GUESS YOU WERE RIGHT, ELLA.
THE JELLYFISH DIDN'T
TAKE IT AFTER ALL.

He looks disappointed.

Ella says, THAT DOESN'T MEAN
IT ISN'T FLOATING AROUND
OUT THERE SOMEWHERE.

Slippy says, SO YOU BELIEVE ME NOW?

Ella says, YOU'RE MY BEST FRIEND, SLIP.
YOU NEVER KNOW.
IT WOULD BE COOL
IF THE JELLYFISH DID EXIST.

Slippy says, AND EVEN IF WE
DIDN'T FIND IT TODAY,
WE COULD TRY AGAIN TOMORROW.
I CAN MAKE OTHER STUFF
WE CAN USE.

He puts the silicone rocket ship back in Glitch’s storage compartment.

He says, EW!

A yellow goo sticks to Slippy’s finger. Slippy smells the goo.

He says, I THINK I'VE ALSO SOLVED
THE SLIME MYSTERY.

He shows Ella and Madhu a snack packet with an apple on the label.

Ella says, IT WAS APPLESAUCE!

[Ella and Madhu laughing]

Ella says, THAT REMINDS ME, I'M HUNGRY.
SNACK TIME?

She and Slippy fly back to their spacecrafts.

Slippy says, GOOD IDEA!

The friends fly away from the planet.

[Soft, upbeat music plays]

[Magical music plays]

On Jupiter, a large shadow moves through the atmosphere like a jellyfish.
