Mom walks over, carrying a backpack. Tilly and Ella float above the ship.

Ella says, WE CAN'T FORGET ANYTHING FOR ANNUAL FLARE STAR DAY.
Tilly cries, OH NO! I CAN T GO WITHOUT MY STUFFY-POOH OCTO ALIEN.
Tilly flies off. Mom puts the backpack near Ella.
Ella says, SUNGLASSES, CHECK. THE ORION FLARE STARS WERE SO BRIGHT LAST TIME.
(Music playing)
A flashback shows Ella and her family sitting on the spaceship, all wearing round sunglasses.
Dad calls, INCOMING!
Present-day Dad carries a large beachball. He tosses it into the trunk of the ship and tries to close it.
Mom says, UH OH.
Ella jumps up and down on the trunk to close it.
Dad says, IT'S OKAY. I'VE GOT THIS.
Mom says, THAT IS NOT GOING TO FIT.
Madhu, the blue and green alien, flies over.
Madhu says, HELLO! ELLA, THERE YOU ARE. I NEED YOUR HELP.
Ella says, I'D LOVE TO DO, MADHU, BUT I'M SPENDING THE DAY WITH MY FAMILY.
Madhu says, PLEEEEEASE!? I REALLY NEED YOU. WE HAVE TO HELP ZOBU.
Ella asks, ZOBU?
Madhu says, ZOBU! MY FAVOURITE ASTEROID CHUNK. WE WERE PLAYING TAG ON SATURN'S MOON, HYPERION, AND ZOBU GOT STUCK IN AN EENSY WEENSY HOLE.
Dad jumps on the trunks.
Ella says, HUH? I'D LOVE TO HELP YOU, BUT...
Madhu says, POOR ZOBU. ALL ALONE ON HYPERION. FROZEN.
Mom says, IT'S OKAY IF YOU WANT TO GO PLAY WITH MADHU INSTEAD.
Ella says, NO, I REALLY WANT TO SEE THE FLARE STARS, BUT MAYBE I HAVE TIME FOR BOTH.
The trunk burst open and everything inside floats out.
All cry, WHOA!
Mom says, YOU DEFINITELY HAVE TIME NOW. WHY DON'T YOU MEET US THERE AT TWO O’CLOCK?
Ella says, I'LL BE THERE BEFORE TWO.

Ella jumps on a circle-shaped moon scooter and flies off with Madhu.
Mom asks, HAVE I EVER TOLD YOU THAT YOU OVERPACKED? YOU KNOW THAT, DON'T YOU?
Dad says, YUP. YOU HAVE TOLD ME THAT.
An icy grey moon is made up of bare dunes and is marked with craters. Saturn hangs in the starry sky above.
Ella says, THIS MOON IS AMAZING. SO MANY CRATERS. IT LOOKS LIKE A SPONGE.
Madhu says, THAT'S WHY ZOBU LIKES IT. HEY, MAYBE YOUR TINY HAND CAN REACH HIM.
Madhu points to a small crater. Inside is a small rock chunk with a smiling face.
Ella reaches into the crater.
(Grunting)
Ella says, SORRY, ZOBU'S TOO FAR BACK. BUT MAYBE...
(Melting)
The crater widens as the ground around it melts.
Madhu says, WHAT A GREAT IDEA. ELLA, THE HEAT FROM YOUR MOON SCOOTER IS MELTING THE ICE.
Ella hovers in her scooter over the crater. She moves away as Madhu reaches into the crater. She pulls out the tiny Zobu.
Madhu cries, ZOBU! I MISSED YOU. YOU WEREN'T TOO COLD, WERE YOU? HERE, I’LL WARM YOU. THANKS, ELLA.
A bubble appears with an image of Ella’s dad inside.
Dad says, HEY ELLA. WE'RE ON OUR WAY.
Ella says, ME TOO. BET I'LL BEAT YOU THERE.
The bubble changes to show Slippy.
Slippy says, ELLA, HURRY! GEM AND ILO HAVE CHALLENGED ME TO A RACE. YOU HAVE TO HELP ME WIN!

Maggie says, TECHNICALLY, IF THEY ARE GETTING A BOOST FROM AN OBJECT'S GRAVITY, THEY ARE NOT CHEATING. A GRAVITY SLINGSHOT IS WHEN YOU USE THE PULL OF A PLANET OR MOON'S GRAVITY TO GAIN SPEED. THE BIGGER THE PLANET OR MOON, THE BIGGER THE GRAVITY SLINGSHOT EFFECT.

Maggie says, YOU MUST DO THIS JUST RIGHT. TOO CLOSE AND YOU WILL HIT THE SURFACE. TOO FAR AND YOU WILL NOT GAIN ENOUGH SPEED.

The twins speed around a fiery moon.
Ella says, THAT WAS INTERSTELLAR! MY TURN.
Ella flies toward the moon.
Maggie says, WAIT. YOU SHOULD FIRST--
Ella cries, WHOA!
The scooter speeds up as it flies around the moon. She stops near the twins.
Ilo asks, WHAT DO YOU THINK? COOL, RIGHT?
Ella says, BETTER THAN COOL. BUT I DIDN'T GO FAR ENOUGH.
Madhu and Slippy fly past them.
Slippy shouts, WHOA!

Ella says, WELL, GANYMEDE IS THE BIGGEST OF JUPITER'S MOONS. LET'S GO.

Maggie says, YOU MUST BE CAREFUL. IF YOU DO NOT GET IT RIGHT, YOU MIGHT END UP OVER-SHOOTING YOUR TARGET DESTINATION AND GO TOO FAR.
Ella says, I PROMISED MY PARENTS I'D BE THERE. AND I'M NOT BREAKING THAT PROMISE.

Ella flies around the moon. Madhu and Slippy follow her.
Ella cries, WHA-HOO!
Slippy and Ella shout, WOW!
They speed up around the moon.
Ella cries, THIS IS AMAZING!
They fly past smaller objects.
Madhu says, I'M LIKE A ROCKET SHIP. OH, SCRAP METAL. A BOLT! WAS THAT A BOOT?
Slippy asks, WHOA, IS THAT A FLARE STAR?
Ella shouts, WE MADE IT, YAHOO!
They fly towards an asteroid.
Slippy cries, LOOK OUT!
They dodge the asteroid.
All cry, WHOA!
Ella, Slippy and Madhu tumble through space. They fly above the flare stars.
(Ella sighing)
Mom appears in a bubble.
Ella says, MOM. DAD, I REALLY TRIED TO MAKE IT TO THE FLARE STARS. BUT I CAN'T. I'M SO SORRY.
Mom says, IT'S OKAY, ELLA. IT HAPPENS. WE'LL MEET YOU BACK AT HOME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. OKAY?
Ella says, OKAY. I'LL HURRY HOME.

Ella looks sad.
Her home floats in space. The family’s ship lands outside the house and her family gets out. Ella walks toward them.
Dad says, ELLA PROPELLA.
Mom says, THAT WAS FAST.
Tilly says, YOU MISSED ALL THE FLARE STARS. THERE WERE SO MANY, ELLA! STUFFY-POOH OCTO ALIEN LOVED THEM.
Ella looks dejected. Mom hugs her.
Mom says, COME ON, ELLA.
(Music playing)
Mom sits on a couch and Ella rests her head on Mom’s lap.
Ella says, I GUESS I GOT CARRIED AWAY. I THOUGHT I COULD HELP MY FRIENDS AND MAKE IT TO THE FLARE STARS IN TIME.
Mom says, THINGS DON'T ALWAYS WORK OUT THE WAY WE WANT THEM TO. AND THERE'LL BE OTHER FLARE STARS. MAYBE SOONER THAN YOU THINK.
Mom and Ella walk outside.

Gem and Ilo fly their scooter around a moon. They speed off as they make the turn around it.
Slippy says, I KNEW THEY HAD TO BE CHEATING. NOBODY COULD WIN EVERY RACE.
Maggie says, TECHNICALLY, IF THEY ARE GETTING A BOOST FROM AN OBJECT'S GRAVITY, THEY ARE NOT CHEATING. A GRAVITY SLINGSHOT IS WHEN YOU USE THE PULL OF A PLANET OR MOON'S GRAVITY TO GAIN SPEED. THE BIGGER THE PLANET OR MOON, THE BIGGER THE GRAVITY SLINGSHOT EFFECT.
Ella asks, WHOA! SO I CAN REACH MY FAMILY SUPER EXTRA FAST AND STILL SEE THE FLARE STARS?
(Music playing)
A cluster of stars shine brightly. Mom, Dad and Tilly sit on top of their ship, wearing sunglasses.
Mom asks, WHERE IS ELLA? SHE SHOULD BE HERE BY NOW.
(Music playing)
Maggie says, YOU MUST DO THIS JUST RIGHT. TOO CLOSE AND YOU WILL HIT THE SURFACE. TOO FAR AND YOU WILL NOT GAIN ENOUGH SPEED.
Ilo says, LIKE THIS.
(Music playing)
The twins speed around a fiery moon.
Ella says, THAT WAS INTERSTELLAR! MY TURN.
Ella flies toward the moon.
Maggie says, WAIT. YOU SHOULD FIRST--
Ella cries, WHOA!
The scooter speeds up as it flies around the moon. She stops near the twins.
Ilo asks, WHAT DO YOU THINK? COOL, RIGHT?
Ella says, BETTER THAN COOL. BUT I DIDN'T GO FAR ENOUGH.
Madhu and Slippy fly past them.
Slippy shouts, WHOA!
Ella asks, HEY! YOU SAID BEFORE THE BIGGER THE MOON THE FARTHER I CAN GO, RIGHT?
Maggie says, YES, BUT--
Ella says, WELL, GANYMEDE IS THE BIGGEST OF JUPITER'S MOONS. LET'S GO.
(Music playing)
Maggie says, YOU MUST BE CAREFUL. IF YOU DO NOT GET IT RIGHT, YOU MIGHT END UP OVER-SHOOTING YOUR TARGET DESTINATION AND GO TOO FAR.
Ella says, I PROMISED MY PARENTS I'D BE THERE. AND I'M NOT BREAKING THAT PROMISE.
(Music playing)
Ella flies around the moon. Madhu and Slippy follow her.
Ella cries, WHA-HOO!
Slippy and Ella shout, WOW!
They speed up around the moon.
Ella cries, THIS IS AMAZING!
They fly past smaller objects.
Madhu says, I'M LIKE A ROCKET SHIP. OH, SCRAP METAL. A BOLT! WAS THAT A BOOT?
Slippy asks, WHOA, IS THAT A FLARE STAR?
Ella shouts, WE MADE IT, YAHOO!
They fly towards an asteroid.
Slippy cries, LOOK OUT!
They dodge the asteroid.
All cry, WHOA!
Ella, Slippy and Madhu tumble through space. They fly above the flare stars.
(Ella sighing)
Mom appears in a bubble.
Ella says, MOM. DAD, I REALLY TRIED TO MAKE IT TO THE FLARE STARS. BUT I CAN'T. I'M SO SORRY.
Mom says, IT'S OKAY, ELLA. IT HAPPENS. WE'LL MEET YOU BACK AT HOME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. OKAY?
Ella says, OKAY. I'LL HURRY HOME.
(Music playing)
Ella looks sad.
Her home floats in space. The family’s ship lands outside the house and her family gets out. Ella walks toward them.
Dad says, ELLA PROPELLA.
Mom says, THAT WAS FAST.
Tilly says, YOU MISSED ALL THE FLARE STARS. THERE WERE SO MANY, ELLA! STUFFY-POOH OCTO ALIEN LOVED THEM.
Ella looks dejected. Mom hugs her.
Mom says, COME ON, ELLA.
(Music playing)
Mom sits on a couch and Ella rests her head on Mom’s lap.
Ella says, I GUESS I GOT CARRIED AWAY. I THOUGHT I COULD HELP MY FRIENDS AND MAKE IT TO THE FLARE STARS IN TIME.
Mom says, THINGS DON'T ALWAYS WORK OUT THE WAY WE WANT THEM TO. AND THERE'LL BE OTHER FLARE STARS. MAYBE SOONER THAN YOU THINK.
Mom and Ella walk outside.
Ella says, FLARE STARS! HERE. HOW?
Stars are projected on floating balloons from the second storey of the house.
(Music playing)
Slippy calls, WE WANTED TO RECREATE THE FLASH STARS FOR YOU. SINCE WE MADE YOU MISS SEEING THE REAL ONES.
Madhu says, AND ZUBU LOVES THEM, TOO.
Ella says, GUYS, YOU'RE THE BEST.
Ella smiles.
(Music playing)
