Shine says, GET IN THE HOCKEY NET!

Shine skates around the rink.

Shine says, SO HI. THIS IS MY ROOM AND COME IN. I HAVE MY BED. HERE'S MY DREAM CATCHER AND IT HAS WILLOW FOR THE STRING AND THESE ARE TWIGS AND STICKS HOLDING IT. OH YEAH AND THE CRYSTAL. IT'S LIKE A DREAM CATCHER BUT IT'S A CRYSTAL. IT'S AMETHYST AND YOU CAN SEE THAT THERE IS A BEAUTIFUL ROCK RIGHT HERE. IT KEEPS AWAY THE BAD DREAMS AND IT HELPS ME SLEEP GOOD AND NICELY.

Shine stands on the bed and points to drawings taped to the wall.

Shine says, HERE'S MY DRAWINGS. IF MY MOM SAYS DON'T GO ON A SCREEN, I JUST DRAW AND IT FEELS GOOD WHEN I DRAW. IT FEELS LIKE I'M DOING A WORKOUT BUT DRAWING.

Riel braids Shine’s hair into two braids.

Shine says, NATIVE MEN AND NATIVE WOMEN THEY KEEP THEIR HAIR LONG AND IT'S LIKE A PERSONAL SPIRIT. SO MY PRONOUNS ARE A "HE" AND "THEY" AND I JUST FEEL LIKE A "THEY" AND I JUST FEEL LIKE IT. YEAH. SO A TWO SPIRIT IS A BOY OR AND A SHE MIXED UP AS A SPIRIT AND IT'S A SPIRITUAL THING. LIKE IF YOU FEEL MUCH LIKE A SHE YOU COULD SAY I PREFER A 'SHE' OR A "THEY", OR IF YOU PREFER MOST OF A BOY YOU CAN SAY I PREFER I'M A BOY OR "THEY".

Shine nods.
