(Happy music plays)

An animation shows traffic travelling through a city. People are gathered outside houses and a pizza parlour. A pink school bus scatters stars as it passes by a grassy hill.

Text reads, “TVO kids and ABC presents”.

Children and their pets run to the hill and climb onto the title which they read, BIG WORDS, SMALL STORIES.

A person reads the episode title.

They read, WORLD RECORD WIPEOUT.

Text reads, written by Anne-Marie Perrotta. Davey and his dog Abigail sit on the ground beside a unicycle and ukulele. On a wall is a menu.

Davey asks, SHOULD I GET
THE STRAWBERRY-CELERY-WHOOPIE
OR THE BANANA-BEET-BOOGIE?

Davey sits at a café counter beside Abigail. A man stands behind the counter. A woman and girl are seated to the right.

Abigail says, NEITHER. IT'S MANGO-COCO-CHOCO-
BLAST SMOOTHIE ALL THE WAY!

Davey says, HEY. WHAT'S THAT?

Davey points to a picture of the man behind the counter, surrounded by butter flies. An award ribbon is pinned to the picture.

The man says, OH, THIS?
I BEAT THE WORLD RECORD
FOR BEING TICKLED
BY BUTTERFLIES.

Davey says, WOW! THE WORLD RECORD?!

The man says, AND NOT JUST THAT ONE -
THIS ONE WAS FOR THE FASTEST
MOPPING OF A FLOOR...

The man points to a picture of himself cleaning a floor. He points to different pictures with a spatula.

The man says, THE TALLEST
STACK OF HAMBURGERS...
JUMPING ON TRAMPOLINES
FOR 10 DAYS!

Davey says, YOU KNOW WHAT? I'M GONNA BREAK
A WORLD RECORD TOO!

The man says, WOAH, WOAH, WOAH, WOAH, WOAH!
SLOW DOWN THERE.
IT ISN'T EASY. BUT IF YOU DID,
WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

Davey says, HMM... I'LL BALANCE THE TALLEST
STACK OF BOOKS ON MY HEAD!

The man says, SORRY. ALREADY BEEN DONE...

He chuckles.

The man says, BY ME!

Davey says, I WASN'T FINISHED.
I'LL BALANCE THE BOOKS
WHILE RIDING A UNICYCLE!

Abigail says, EVEN BETTER!
MUCH HARDER.

The man says, HMM... YOU'RE RIGHT.
DAVEY, YOU NEED TO START SMALL.

Davey says, HANG ON.
STACK OF BOOKS... UNICYCLE...
WHILE PLAYING THE UKULELE!

Abigail says, YOU'RE GONNA DO ALL THAT?!
I'M JUST... JUST...

Candy-like creatures, Sprinkle Fairy’s helpers, the sprinklers, appear.

Abigail says, FLABBERGASTED!

Other sprinklers pop up and say, FLABBERGASTED!

A pink bus drives past. Sprinkle Fairy files by.

She says, FLABBERGASTED MEANS
TO GREATLY SURPRISE.
YOU KNOW, LIKE THE WORLD RECORD
DAVEY WANTS TO SET
IS FLABBERGASTING
AL, ABIGAIL AND ME!

Sprinkle Fairy joins Abigail.

Abigail asks, DO YOU THINK DAVEY
WILL SET A WORLD RECORD?

Sprinkle Fairy says, I'M SURE HE'LL ROCK IT!
OH, SPEAKING OF ROCKING,
I'M LATE FOR BAND PRACTICE.

Sprinkle Fairy flies away.

She says, TOOO-OOH-OOH-OOODLES!
I'LL SHOW YOU BOTH
THAT I CAN SET THE WORLD RECORD.

Abigail asks, HOW?

Al, the record breaker, says, WITH PRACTICE, OF COURSE!
I'M GOING TO HELP YOU TRAIN.
WE'RE CLOSING!
EVERYONE OUT!

The woman and girl eating at the counter say, HUH?

The woman says, AL'S CLOSING THE CAFE EARLY?!
HE NEVER DOES THAT.
I'M FLABBERGASTED!

A pink sprinkler attempts to pole vault over a straw, but their stick breaks. Davey wears a towel around his neck outside as he looks at a stack of books.

Davey says, SO... WHAT AM I SUPPOSED
TO BE DOING?

Al says, SHH!
LISTEN TO WHAT
THE BOOKS ARE TELLING YOU.
DO THEY WANT TO BE STACKED?
WILL THEY STAY STACKED?

Davey looks at Abigail.

Abigail says, OOH!

Al says, THE BOOKS SAY THEY ARE READY.

Al tries to balance a book on Davey’s head. The book wobbles and Al swaps it out for a smaller book.

Al asks, WHAT IS THE WHEEL TELLING YOU?

Al spins the wheel of a unicycle.

Davey says, UM... THAT IT LIKES TO ROLL?

Al says, NO!
IT'S TELLING YOU
THAT IT'S HERE TO SUPPORT YOU.

Abigail says, IF I WERE THE UNICYCLE,
I'D ROLL RIGHT ON OUT OF HERE.
THIS TRAINING
IS REALLY FLABBERGASTING.

Al passes Davey a ukulele.

Davey says, THE UKULELE IS TELLING ME IT
WANTS TO BE IN HARMONY WITH ME!

Al says, DON'T BE SILLY.
UKULELES DON'T TALK!
BUT IT DOES NEED TO BE TUNED.

Abigail quietly says, I'M FLABBERGASTED
AL BROKE ANY WORLD RECORDS!

Davey says, WELL, I HOPE
I MANAGE TO BREAK ONE.

The pink sprinkler successfully pole vaults over the straw.

Al announces, PEOPLE OF COLOSSUS,
TODAY DAVEY WILL TRY
TO BREAK A WORLD RECORD!

(Sighs of intrigue)

(Applause)

(Intense music plays)

Abigail stacks books on Davey’s head. Davey balances the books on his head while balancing on a unicycle.

He says, WHOA... WHOA!

Poppy and her wombat Chaz gasp.

Poppy says, WOW!

Abigail holds up a ukulele.

A person says, A UKULELE?!

Abigail says, PLAY ANOTHER SONG!

The person says, YAY!

Al watches a stopwatch. He stops the clock.

Davey says, I'M DOING IT!
I'M REALLY DOING IT!

(Nervous muttering)

A butterfly lands on Davey’s nose. Davey looks nervous. He tries to blow the butterfly away.

He says, SCRAM!
UH-OH...

Davey loudly sneezes and falls off the unicycle with a thud. The onlookers gasp.

Al says, NOW THAT'S FLABBERGASTING!

The pink sprinkler attempts another jump, but ends up knocking over 2 other sprinklers.

Davey asks, HOW LONG DID I STAY ON?

Al says, SEVEN SECONDS.

Davey says, THAT'S NOT GOOD.

Al says, ARE YOU KIDDING?! NOBODY ELSE
HAS ATTEMPTED THIS YET.
FOR NOW,
YOU'RE THE WORLD RECORD HOLDER!

Davey and Abigail cheer, YEAH!

They high five.

A person wearing a crown says, CONGRATULATIONS.

Davey says, THANKS!

Al takes a picture of Davey.

Davey says, NEXT WEEK, I'LL WORK ON
ANOTHER WORLD RECORD.
BUT THIS TIME,
I'LL TALK TO THE BUTTERFLIES
SO THEY DON'T BOTHER ME!

(Laughter)

End credits read, “Produced in association with TVO Kids. Executive Producer, TVO Kids, Marney Malabar.”
