[Squawking, hooting]
[Upbeat music plays]
Odo says, THERE YOU ARE.
I'M PRACTICING MY BIRDSONG
FOR OUR PERFORMANCE TONIGHT.
CAMP LEADER SAID THAT WE'RE ALL
GOING TO BE SINGING TOGETHER.
WHAT DOES YOUR BIRDSONG
SOUND LIKE, DOODLE?
Doodle says, UM, MY SONG SOUNDS
LIKE THIS…
[Inhales deeply]
Doodle says, NO, WAIT, IT SOUNDS LIKE THIS:
[Inhales deeply]
Doodle says, OH... ODO, I DON'T KNOW
WHAT MY SONG SOUNDS LIKE.
I'VE NEVER TRIED TO SING BEFORE.
Odo says, CAN'T YOU JUST SING
LIKE THE OTHER DOODLE BIRDS?
Doodle says, I'VE NEVER MET
ANOTHER DOODLE BIRD.
Odo says, OH.
Doodle says, MAYBE...
MAYBE I DON'T HAVE A SONG.
Odo says, OF COURSE YOU DO, DOODLE.
EVERY BIRD HAS A SONG. YOU AND I WILL
FIND YOUR SONG TOGETHER.
Camp Leader calls, IT'S LUNCHTIME, CAMPERS!
[Whoosh]
Two chickens bump heads over a bowl of seeds.
They say, OW!
[Clucking, pecking]
Odo says, I THINK YOU SHOULD TRY
SINGING LIKE THE OTHER BIRDS
IN FOREST CAMP.
IF YOU TRY ALL OF THEIR SONGS,
I'M SURE YOU'LL FIND ONE THAT FITS.
Doodle says, OH, THAT'S A GOOD IDEA.
Odo says, LET'S START WITH THE CHICKENS.
EXCUSE ME, CAN YOU SHOW US A CHICKEN
SONG? WE CHICKENS DON'T SING
SO MUCH AS WE PAWK,
AND THE PAWK DEPENDS
ON WHAT WE WANT TO SAY.
Odo says, OKAY. SO HOW WOULD YOU
SAY "SEEDS"?
A chicken says, "SEEDS" IS "PAWK."
Odo says, AND HOW WOULD YOU SAY "ARE"?
The chicken replies, PAWK!
Odo says, AND HOW WOULD YOU SAY "YUMMY"?
The chicken says, OH, THAT'S A TOUGH ONE.
I BELIEVE THAT WOULD BE PAWK!
Odo says, GREAT. NOW LET'S SEE
IF THAT'S YOUR BIRDSONG, DOODLE.
TRY SAYING "SEEDS ARE YUMMY"
IN CHICKEN.
Doodle says, OKAY, UM...
PAWK, PAWK, PAWK?
Two chickens gulp, then run around excitedly.
[Panicked clucking]
Odo asks, WHAT HAPPENED?
The chicken says, YOU SAID IT WRONG!
"PAWK, PAWK, PAWK"
MEANS "A MONSTER IS COMING!"
HEY! SHE DIDN'T MEAN,
"PAWK, PAWK, PAWK."
SHE MEANT, "PAWK, PAWK, PAWK!"
Doodle says, I DON'T THINK
THAT'S MY BIRDSONG, ODO.
Odo says, THAT'S OKAY.
WE'LL JUST TRY A DIFFERENT ONE.
[Whoosh]
A swam explains, THE SWAN'S BIRDSONG
IS ALL ABOUT VOLUME.
A second swan says, YOU SEE,
WHEN I ENTER A POND,
IT'S VERY MUCH LIKE A QUEEN
ENTERING HER CASTLE. OBSERVE.
[Honks]
The first swan says, GO AHEAD, GIVE
IT A TRY.
Doodle says, OKAY!
[Inhales deeply]
Doodle says, HONK.
The first swan says, OH, NO, NO, NO.
I'M AFRAID YOU'LL HAVE TO BE
MUCH LOUDER THAN THAT IF YOU
WANT TO SING OUR BIRDSONG.
Odo says, I KNOW.
TRY NOW, DOODLE.
[Clears throat]
Doodle speaks into a megaphone, HONK!
Odo says, THAT WAS GREAT, DOODLE.
I THINK YOU FOUND YOUR SONG.
Doodle asks, REALLY?
The megaphone hits the Camp Leader.
Camp Leader says, OOH! OH!
WHAT DID WE SAY ABOUT BORROWING
THINGS WITHOUT ASKING, ODO?
Odo says, SORRY, CAMP LEADER.
MAYBE WE SHOULD KEEP LOOKING.

Doodle says, IT'S NO USE, ODO.
I'VE TRIED EVERY BIRDSONG
IN FOREST CAMP, AND NONE
OF THEM ARE MINE.
Odo says, DON'T GIVE UP, DOODLE.
I KNOW YOU HAVE A SONG.
MAYBE YOU JUST NEED
TO PRACTICE THE SONGS
THAT YOU LEARNED TODAY.
LET'S DO IT TOGETHER.
[Upbeat music plays]
Odo and Doodle sing,
HONK, HONK, HONK
PAWK, PAWK, PAWK

IS THAT WE'VE LOST THE MONSTER.
A second flamingo says, BUT THE BAD
NEWS IS THAT WE'RE LOST.
A red bird says, DON'T WORRY,
EVERYONE. CAMP LEADER WILL FIND US.
ONCE SHE TAKES CARE OF THAT
MONSTER, THAT IS.
Camp Leader says, RIGHT. YOU TWO
STAY HERE. I'M GOING TO FIND
THE CAMPERS.
Doodle says, WE SHOULD HELP TOO.
Odo says, I KNOW. I CAN CALL THE BIRDS
BACK WITH MY BIRDSONG.
Doodle says, GREAT IDEA, ODO!
Odo says, HERE I GO.
[Inhales deeply, hoots softly]
Odo says, I DON'T THINK THEY HEARD ME.
Doodle says, IT'S GETTING SO DARK.
THOSE POOR BIRDS. I DO HOPE
THEY'RE NOT FRIGHTENED.
IF ONLY I COULD DO SOMETHING
TO HELP. OH. EVERY BIRD HAS A
SONG. HMM.
Doodle sings.
[Gasp]
Camp Leader asks, WHAT'S THAT?
[Clucking]
[Chimes, Doodle singing, rustling bushes]
The red bird says, IT'S COMING FROM THAT WAY.
Odo says, DOODLE, YOU'VE FOUND YOUR SONG!
Doodle says, I... I GUESS I HAVE!
A chicken says, WOW, THIS MONSTER
HAS A PRETTY GOOD SINGING VOICE!
[Groan]
Camp Leader lights a campfire.
[Hissing flame, crackling fire]
Camp Leader says, AND A-ONE,
AND A-TWO, AND A...
[Birds sing in harmony]
Odo says, YOU DIDN'T NEED TO SING
LIKE THE OTHER BIRDS. YOU JUST
NEEDED TO FIND YOUR OWN SONG.
Doodle says, I GUESS.
BUT IF IT WASN'T FOR YOU,
I NEVER WOULD HAVE
LOOKED FOR IT.
[Singing]
Doodle says, THAT MEANS
"YOU'RE MY BEST FRIEND"
IN DOODLE-SONG.
Odo says, WELL, IN THAT CASE...
[Hoots softly]
Odo says, TO YOU TOO, DOODLE.
[Laughing]
