Birds gather in a forest.

Odo the owl says,
HERE I COME!

(Bush rustles)

Odo, a small brown owl with white markings, runs past a blue bird, chickens, a peacock, and yellow birds.

Odo sings, ODO

Birds sing,
ODO, ODO, ODO

(Cluck)

Odo jumps into a muddy puddle with two toucans.

(Splash)

Odo leaps on a fallen tree trunk with Doodle, a small blue bird. Flamingos pop their heads out of the trunk.

Birds sing,
ODO, ODO, ODO

Odo jumps on a tree stump. The birds surround him.

The title reads, “Odo”.

Odo winks.

The sun shines brightly on the forest. The camp leader, an eagle with a green cap, holds a megaphone. Odo, Doodle, and the other birds surround her.

Text reads, “Pond Life”.

The camp leader announces,
TODAY, WE'RE GOING TO BE
DOING A BIG POND DIP!

Odo says,
HEAR THAT, DOODLE?
A BIG POND DIP!

Doodle replies,
OH, NO, I CAN'T DO A POND DIP.
I HAVEN'T BROUGHT MY SWIMMING
COSTUME.

The camp leader says,
OH, DOODLE, A POND DIP ISN'T
A SWIM, IT'S WHERE WE SKIM THE
POND WITH NETS TO CATCH
MINI-BEASTS, TINY LITTLE
CREATURES.
WE'LL GENTLY AND SAFELY PUT
WHATEVER WE CATCH INTO JARS SO
WE CAN ALL HAVE A GOOD LOOK AT
THEM, AND THEN WE'LL LET THEM GO
AGAIN.
FOLLOW ME, CAMPERS!

The camp leader carries a butterfly net to the pond.

Odo says,
WOW, COME ON, DOODLE.
WE'LL CATCH THE BEST MINI-BEASTS
IN THE WHOLE POND.

The camp leader dips her net underwater and glides it from side to side.

She says,
POND DIP IS VERY EASY.
YOU JUST CAREFULLY GLIDE YOUR
NET ACROSS THE WATER LIKE SO,
AND, OH!
I THINK I'VE GOT SOMETHING.
STAND BACK EVERYONE.
IT COULD BE SOME POND SKATERS,
OR MAYBE SOME WATER BEETLES, OR
PERHAPS IT COULD EVEN BE--
SOME WEEDS.

(Groaning)

The camp leader pulls weeds out of her net. She places them in a jar. The other birds look inside the jar.

The camp leader adds,
SEE THAT, CAMP?
OUR FIRST CATCH OF THE DAY, POND
WEED!
FASCINATING.
MAKE A NOTE OF THAT IN YOUR
MEMORY BOOKS.

The camp leader places the weeds back into the pond.

She says,
THERE WE GO, RETURNING IT TO THE
POND.

Odo adds,
SAFELY RELEASED BACK INTO THE
WILD.

The camp leader replies,
PRECISELY.
NOW, COME ALONG, CAMPERS, GET
YOUR NETS AND LET'S GO POND
DIPPING!

Glass jars surround a barrel full of nets.

Later, the swans carry their nets on their shoulders as they walk across a field. Odo and Doodle follow them.

Odo says,
DOODLE AND I WILL MAKE
AWESOME FISHERS.

Doodle adds, AWESOME FISHERS.

A swan responds,
REALLY?
WE'LL SEE ABOUT THAT.
RUDY AND I ARE WATER BIRDS AFTER
ALL.
LEAVE IT TO THE EXPERTS.

Odo says,
HAH, WE'LL SHOW THOSE SWANS
WHO THE EXPERTS ARE.

Doodle replies, AWESOME!

She struggles to lift her net and loses her balance.

(Grunting)

Doodle glances up at the swans.

She adds,
WHOA!
HM!

(Both laughing)

Two toucans stand at the edge of the pond. They pull on one net.

A toucan says, TO ME.

The other toucan replies, TO YOU.

The first toucan adds, TOUCAN.

(Both laughing)

The second toucan says, TOUCAN!

The peacock looks at its reflection in the pond.

It says,
OH, CIAO, BELLO.
HM?

The peacock pulls its empty net out of the water.

Three yellow birds dance on the handle of their net.

They sing, DON'T GET WET, FILL THE NET

(Clucking)

A chicken slaps its net against the water’s surface. Another swings its net over a third chicken’s head.

(Laughing)

(Groaning)

Water splashes on the peacock’s feathers. It looks angry.

(Humming)

Odo, Doodle, and the swans sway their nets from side to side under the water.

Doodle pulls up her net.

Odo says, WOW!

Doodle empties her net on the grass.

She says,
I'VE GOT SOME SLIME AND A
LITTLE MUD.
WHAT HAVE YOU GOT, ODO?

Odo empties his net.

He replies,
SAME AS YOU.
WOW, I'VE GOT SOMETHING!
HELP ME, DOODLE.

A red fish lays on weeds in Odo’s net.

(Grunting)

Odo drops the fish into a jar filled with water.

He says,
WOW, DOODLE, LOOK!
IT'S A MINI-FISH.

Doodle adds,
WHAT A WHOPPER, ODO.
MAKE A NOTE IN YOUR MEMORY BOOK.
IT'S A MONSTER.

(Rudy chuckling)

Rudy, the swan, says,
A MONSTER?
NOT COMPARED TO THIS

Rudy holds a large fish in his net.

The other goose says,
WE'RE GOING TO NEED A BIGGER
JAR.

(Both laughing)

Odo and Doodle nod to each other. They hurry back to the pond and sway their nets underwater.

Doodle says,
OH, I'VE GOT SOMETHING, ODO,
AND I THINK IT'S BIG.

Odo helps Doodle pull her net out of the water.

(Grunting)

Tadpoles swim in Doodle’s net.

Later, The three tadpoles swim in a glass jar next to the small red fish.

Doodle says, WOW, IT'S TADPOLES!

(Laughing)

Rudy interrupts,
TADPOLES?
TITCHY, TINY, TEENY, LITTLE
TADPOLES.

The camp leader says,
TADPOLES!
WHAT A CATCH, DOODLE.
MAKE A NOTE IN YOUR MEMORY BOOK.
TADPOLES ARE VERY INTERESTING.

Odo adds,
WE ALSO FOUND SOME LEAVES
AND I FOUND A STICK WITH THIS
THING ON IT.
IT MIGHT BE A COCOON.

The camp leader replies,
THAT'S LOVELY, ODO.

(Swans laughing)

Rudy says,
WHAT AN ODDBALL COLLECTION
OF CREATURES.

The other swan adds,
I DON'T HAVE TO MAKE A NOTE
OF THIS IN MY MEMORY BOOK.
I'LL NEVER FORGET IT.

(Sighing)

Doodle looks disappointed.

Odo says,
THOSE SWANS ARE BEING VERY
RUDE.
DON'T BE SAD, DOODLE.

The camp leader says, SMILE!

The toucans and a blue and orange bird pose for a picture by the pond.

(Camera snapping)

The camp leader says,
LOVELY!
DON'T FORGET TO PUT IT IN YOUR
BOOK.

She hands the picture to the toucans.

The toucans watch the blue and orange bird fly away.

The toucans say, EH?

The camp leader asks,
PHOTO FOR YOUR MEMORY BOOK?

The chickens nod.

The reply, UH-HUH!

The chickens pose with weeds on their faces.

(Clucking)

The camp leader looks at the picture of the chickens.

She says,
OH, IT'LL DO I SUPPOSE.
PASTE IT INTO YOUR MEMORY BOOK.

(Chickens laughing)

The camp leader says,
SWANS, QUICK PHOTO FOR YOUR
MEMORY BOOK?

The swans pose beside their fish.

Rudy replies, GET OUR BEST SIDES.

The other swan adds, ALL OF THEM.

The camp leader takes a picture of the swans and gives it to them.

She says,
LOVELY, DON'T FORGET TO PUT
IT IN YOUR BOOK!

Odo rests his wings on his hips.

He says,
THOSE SILLY SWANS HAVE MADE
DOODLE SAD.
SHE WON'T WANT A PHOTO OF THIS.
I HAVE TO PUT IT RIGHT!

The swans look at their picture.

(Both giggling)

Odo watches the swans.

He adds,
IT'S TIME TO CATCH DOODLE A
MASSIVE FISH, SO SHE'S HAPPY FOR
HER PHOTO.

(Panting)

Odo rushes to the pond. He swings a fishing rod.

Odo says, HIYA!

(Gasping)

Odo’s fishing hook gets stuck in the peacock’s sandwich.

Odo swings the rod again. The hook pulls a blanket out from under a pigeon.

Odo shouts, A-HA!

(Gasping)

(Grunting)

Reggie sleeps in a bush. The fishing hook rips off a leaf above his head.

(Odo grunting)

Reggie raises his head.

He says,
WHOA, TRYING TO GET SOME
SHUT-EYE HERE.

(Grunting)

Odo catches the hook on a tree branch. Pine cones fall on the heads of the chickens.

(Clucking)

(Both sighing)

The swans look at their memory book.

(Grunting)

(Gasping)

Odo hooks the Swan’s memory book. It falls out of their hands and lands on the pigeon’s blanket. The toucans split the peacock’s sandwich.

A toucan asks, IS THAT THE SWANS?

(All gasping)

Odo looks at the memory book.

He adds, AS LITTLE BABIES.

The other birds say, AWW.

(Laughing)

Doodle rushes to Odo and the other birds.

A bird says, LOOK AT THEM.

The other birds reply, AWW.

Doodle looks at baby pictures in the swan’s memory book.

She says,
HOW CUTE.
SO LITTLE AND FLUFFY.

Odo asks, IS THAT REALLY YOU?

(Laughing)

Rudy picks up the book.

He answers,
YEAH, BEFORE WE GOT OLDER.

The other swan adds, AND WISER.

(Giggling)

A yellow butterfly circles around Doodle.

Doodle responds, WOW!

(Laughing)

Doodle chases the butterfly.

The other birds watch Doodle.

They say, HUH?

Odo follows Doodle back to the glass jars. The tadpoles have turned into frogs.

Doodle asks,
WHERE DID YOU ALL COME FROM?

Odo says,
GOSH, DOODLE, SOMETHING MUST
HAVE HATCHED.

Odo looks at a cocoon with a hole in it then turns to the butterfly.

Doodle says,
A BUTTERFLY, HOW BEAUTIFUL.
LOOK AT ALL THESE NOT SO MINI
BEASTS, ODO.

The birds reply, AWW.

The camp leader adds,
AH, YOU SEE, DOODLE, TADPOLES
TURN INTO FROGS, AND COCOONS
TURN INTO BUTTERFLIES.
ALL THESE LITTLE ANIMALS GROW UP
AND CHANGE.

Odo says,
YEAH, JUST LIKE THE BABY
SWANS DID.

The swan replies, IT'S TRUE!

Rudy adds,
CHANGED FOR THE BETTER.
WE'RE MUCH MORE ELEGANT NOW.

Odo says,
SEE, DOODLE?
WE MIGHT NOT BE THE BEST AT
FISHING TODAY, BUT WHO KNOWS?
WE COULD GROW UP TO BECOME THE
BEST FISHERS IN THE WORLD.

The camp leader says,
INDEED, YOU CAN GROW UP TO
BECOME WHATEVER YOU WANT TO BE.

(Croaking)

A butterfly lands on Doodle’s wing.

Doodle replies,
THAT'S GREAT, BUT RIGHT NOW
I'M VERY HAPPY TO JUST BE ME.

The butterfly flies away.

The camp leader says,
GLAD TO HEAR IT, DOODLE.
NOW, BEFORE WE RELEASE THESE
LITTLE CREATURES BACK INTO THE
POND, HOW ABOUT ONE LAST PHOTO?
SMILE, EVERYONE!

The camp leader takes a picture of all the birds.
