Birds gather in a forest.

Odo, the owl, says,
HERE I COME!

[Bush rustles]

Odo, a small brown owl with white markings, runs past a blue bird, chickens, a peacock, and yellow birds.

Odo sings, ODO

Birds sing,
ODO, ODO, ODO

[Cluck]

Odo jumps into a muddy puddle with two toucans.

[Splash]

Odo leaps on a fallen tree trunk with Doodle, a small blue bird. Flamingos pop their heads out of the trunk.

Birds sing,
ODO, ODO, ODO

Odo jumps on a tree stump in the middle of the forest. The birds surround him.

The title reads, “Odo”.

Odo winks.

[Chimes]

Text reads, “The Biscuit Pincher”.

Odo and his family run across a forest clearing.

Odo’s mom says,
QUICKLY, ODO, YOU DON'T WANNA
BE LATE FOR FOREST CAMP.

Odo holds his dad’s wing as he rushes to the entrance of the forest camp.

[Chuckles]

Odo’s mom says,
NOW, ODO, YOU DO HAVE
EVERYTHING YOU NEED?

Odo replies,
YEAH, MOM, GOTTA GO.

Odo walks away from his parents.

Odo’s dad says,
YOU FORGOTTEN ONE THING,
ODO, A HUG.

Odo walks back to his parents. The three of them hug.

[Coos]

Odo says, BYE, MOM. BYE, DAD.

[Chuckles]

Odo joins the others at the forest camp. The camp leader, a bald eagle wearing a green hat and an orange handkerchief around her neck, stands on a tree stump.

The camp leader says,
OH, ODO, I'M GLAD
YOU CAN JOIN US.

Doodle says, ME TOO.

The camp leader adds,
BECAUSE WE'RE OFF
INTO THE FOREST.
YOU NEARLY MISSED US.
COME ALONG, CAMPERS!

Later, the camp leader walks with the campers into the forest.

She says,
TODAY, CAMPERS,
WE'LL BE LEARNING ALL ABOUT
HOW TO IDENTIFY ANIMAL TRACKS.
CAN ANYONE TELL ME
WHO MADE THESE TRACKS?

The campers look at tracks with large circular marks and small circular marks.

A green hummingbird answers,
THAT'S RABBIT TRACKS.

The camp leader replies,
WELL DONE.
NOW, WHAT ABOUT THIS?

Winding brown tracks cut through the green grass.

A toucan answers,
EASY. A SNAKE DID THAT.

A chicken says,
OR PIGEON POST
ON A BICYCLE.

[All laughing]

The camp leader stands beside a small bush.

She says,
YES. VERY FUNNY, FLO.
I WANT YOU ALL TO LOOK HARD
FOR ANIMAL TRACKS.
TRY TO IDENTIFY THEM.

The campers take magnifying glasses out of a wooden bucket.

Odo says,
COME ON, DOODLE.
LET'S SEE WHAT WE CAN TRACK.

He looks through a magnifying glass.

[Indistinct chatter]

The campers search the forest.

[Clucking]

The three chickens walk in a line. The third chicken examines the other two chicken’s tracks.

He says,
THESE LOOK LIKE CHICKEN TRACKS.
AND THEY JUST GO IN CIRCLES.

A red bird with white markings approaches a set of animal tracks.

She says,
THESE MUST BE HEDGEHOG TRACKS.

A swan looks at the tracks through the red bird’s magnifying glass.

The swan replies,
THESE HAVE CLEARLY BEEN
LEFT BY A BADGER.

The camp leader says,
WELL DONE, CAMPERS.
REMEMBER TO KEEP CHECKING
YOUR ANIMAL TRACKING BOOKS,
AND MAKE A NOTE OF ALL
THE TRACKS YOU FIND.

Odo looks down.

He says,
OH, NO, MY BAG.
I WAS IN SUCH A HURRY,
I GUESS I FORGOT IT.

Doodle replies,
NEVER MIND, ODO,
YOU CAN HAVE SOME OF MY PAPER.

Odo says,
THANKS, DOODLE.

Doodle hands Odo a piece of paper. They both search the grass for tracks.

Later, the campers gather outside the camp leader’s wood cabin.

The camp leader says,
EXCELLENT MORNING'S WORK
TRACKING, CAMPERS.
NOW, WHILE YOU HAVE
SOME SNACKS,
I'M GOING TO TRACK DOWN
A NICE CUP OF TEA.

The camp leader walks into the cabin.

[Indistinct chatter]

The other campers walk away from Odo and Doodle. Odo looks upset. Doodle grabs his hand.

[Gasps]

A brown bag lays on a bench outside the cabin.

Odo says,
MY BAG. LOOK, DOODLE.
IT MUST'VE BEEN HERE
ALL ALONG.

Doodle replies,
HANG ON, ODO,
HOW WAS IT HERE ALL ALONG?

The camp leader looks around her cabin.

[Squeals]

The camp leader shouts,
MY BISCUITS! A THIEF!
IT'S AWFUL!

She carries a tray of cookies outside. One of them is half-eaten.

The campers rush to the camp leader.

[All gasp]

The camp leader says,
I WENT IN TO MY HUT
TO MAKE A CUP OF TEA
AND TO HAVE A--
I MEAN, TO CHECK ON
THE BISCUITS.

Odo asks,
THE SPECIAL BISCUITS?

The camp leader replies,
THAT'S RIGHT.
THE TRIPLE CHOC CHIP
AND FUDGE ONES
THAT WE KEEP RIGHT HERE
FOR WHEN PARENTS CALL BY.

[All murmur]

The campers lick their beaks.

The camp leader says,
BUT WHEN I COUNTED THEM,
I DISCOVERED THAT ONE HAS BEEN--
HAS BEEN PINCHED.

[All gasp]

The campers look surprised. The camp leader covers her face.

She says,
WE'VE GOT A BISCUIT THIEF.

One of the pink flamingos asks,
WHO COULD'VE DONE
SUCH A THING?

The red bird says,
MAYBE IT WAS A BEAR.
BEARS LOVES BISCUITS.

A toucan says,
OR MAYBE THE BISCUIT
NIBBLED ITSELF.
THEY ARE THAT DELICIOUS.

[Both laughing]

The other toucan replies, OH, YES.

The three small yellow birds fly overhead.

They sing,
THIS IDEA COULD CAUSE A FUSS
THE BISCUIT THIEF
COULD BE ONE OF US

The swan turns to the chickens.

She says,
ANY ONE OF US
COULD HAVE SNUCK OFF
DURING THE OUTING,
COME BACK TO CAMP,
AND PINCHED THAT BISCUIT.

The peacock replies,
BUT ONE LITTLE BIRD
DIDN'T HAVE PAPER WITH HIM,
AND NOW, LOOK, HE SOMEHOW
HAS PAPER.

[All gasp]

The campers look at Odo.

The swan says,
HE MUST HAVE SNEAKED BACK
TO CAMP TO GET IT
AND PINCHED THE BISCUIT.

Odo replies,
I'M NO BISCUIT THIEF.
DOODLE GAVE ME THIS PAPER.
OWLS ARE HONEST BIRDS.
AND WE'LL FIND THAT
BISCUIT THIEF, THEN PROVE IT.

Odo holds up his magnifying glass.

Doodle says,
YES, WE WILL.
DO YOU THINK WE CAN, ODO?

Odo replies,
I KNOW WE CAN.

He looks through his magnifying glass.

Later, Odo and Doodle search around the camp leader’s cabin.

Odo says,
WE'LL BE DETECTIVES, DOODLE.

Odo looks around a pile of logs.

He says, HMM.
MMM.
UH-HUH.
OOOOH.

Odo leaps onto a tree trunk and into a bush. He finds bird tracks and a trail of biscuit crumbs.

Odo says,
WE JUST NEED TO LOOK
FOR CLUES.
SEE? A FOOTPRINT.
AND IT'S QUITE BIG.

Doodle replies,
BIGGER THAN US CAMPERS,
BUT SMALLER THAN CAMP LEADER.

Odo and Doodle follow the tracks.

Odo says,
BISCUIT CRUMBS.
THIS MUST BE OUR THIEF.
FOLLOW THE TRAIL!

Odo examines the bird tracks as he and Doodle follow the trail. The tracks end.

Odo says,
OH, NO.
THE GROUND IS TOO HARD
FOR TRACKS HERE, DOODLE.

Doodle replies,
NO CLAW PRINTS.
WE LOST THE THIEF, ODO.
MAYBE NOT. A REAL DETECTIVE
DOESN'T GIVE UP SO EASILY.
I'VE GOT AN IDEA.

[Odo grunting]

Odo lifts the wooden bucket up to a tree branch with ropes. He places a biscuit under the bucket.

Odo says,
THERE, IT'S PERFECT.
THE BISCUITY THIEF WON'T BE ABLE
TO RESIST ONE MORE BISCUIT.
AND WHEN THEY TRY TO TAKE ONE,
BOOM, WE'LL TRAP THEM
IN THIS TRAP.

Odo and Doodle hide behind a bush.

Doodle replies,
BRILLIANT. NOW WE JUST WAIT
FOR THE THIEF TO COME BACK.
WHO DO YOU THINK IT'LL BE?
PIGEON POST?

Odo says, DON'T KNOW.

Doodle asks, INSPECTOR FEATHERS?

Odo replies, MAYBE.

Odo and Doodle peek out from behind the bush.

Doodle says,
THE THIEF'S TAKING A LONG TIME.

Odo replies,
THAT'S BECAUSE THEY'RE SNEAKY.

[Both sigh]

Odo pulls out a book.

He says,
WE CAN READ MY COMIC
WHILE WE WAIT.

Doodle nods.

She replies, HM!

[Both giggle]

Odo and Doodle read Odo’s comic book.

Later, the sun sets on the forest. Odo’s dad leaves tracks as he walks toward the biscuit.

Odo’s dad says, MMM.

[Both giggling]

Odo and Doodle continue to read the comic book.

Odo says,
WOW, BRILLIANT.

Doodle looks up at the sky.

She says,
THE SUN'S GOING DOWN, ODO.
AND NO SIGN OF--

[Bird chomping]

Odo and Doodle get up.

Doodle asks,
DID THAT SOUND TO
YOU LIKE A--?
THE BISCUIT THIEF. THE TRAP!

[Grunts]

Odo unties the rope. The bucket falls onto his dad’s head.

[Grunts]

Odo’s dad walks around the forest with the bucket on his head. Odo and Doodle chase him.

Odo says,
WE CAUGHT YOU,
BISCUIT PINCHER.

Odo’s dad bumps into a tree.

Doodle says,
YOU HAVE BEEN VERY,
VERY NAUGHTY.

Odo’s dad falls down. The rest of the campers rush to Odo.

Odo says,
NOW, SHOW EVERYBODY
WHO YOU ARE.

The camp leader scratches her head.

She says, HMM.

The camp leader takes the bucket off Odo’s dad’s head.

[All gasp]

Doodle looks surprised.

She says,
THE BISCUIT PINCHER IS...

Odo says, DAD?

Odo’s dad replies,
I'M NO BISCUIT PINCHER.
OWLS ARE HONEST BIRDS.
IN YOUR RUSH THIS MORNING, ODO,
YOU FORGOT YOUR BAG.

A blue and orange parrot says,
HE DID FORGET HIS BAG.

Odo’s dad adds,
I CAME BY TO DROP IT OFF,
BUT YOU WERE ALL OUT IN THE
FOREST DOING YOUR TRACKING,
SO I LEFT THE BAG OUT FOR ODO,
AND POPPED OVER
TO CAMP LEADER'S HUT.

The camp leader says,
WHERE YOU HAD A SPECIAL BISCUIT
FROM THE PLATES.

Odo says,
AND THE SPECIAL BISCUITS
ARE FOR PARENTS WHEN THEY VISIT.
SO NOBODY TOOK A BISCUIT
WHO WASN'T ALLOWED TO.

The peacock says,
ODO AND DOODLE FIGURED IT OUT.
THERE IS NO BISCUIT THIEF.

Odo leaps into the air.

He says,
I KNEW WE COULD DO IT.

The camp leader says,
WHAT A RELIEF!
I THINK THIS CALLS FOR A
CELEBRATORY SPECIAL BISCUIT.

The campers cheer, YAY!

[Birds squawking, chirping]

At the cabin, the camp leader places biscuits onto a plate. The campers wait outside.

The camp leader carries the biscuits outside and hands them out to the campers.

Odo and his dad eat their biscuit.

Odo says, YUM.

Odo’s dad reaches for another biscuit.

The camp leader says,
JUST THE ONE, MIND.

[All laugh]
