Birds gather in a forest.

Odo, the owl, says,
HERE I COME!

[Bush rustles]

Odo, a small brown owl with white markings, runs past a blue bird, chickens, a peacock, and yellow birds.

Odo sings, ODO

Birds sing,
ODO, ODO, ODO

[Cluck]

Odo jumps into a muddy puddle with two toucans.

[Splash]

Odo leaps on a fallen tree trunk with Doodle, a small blue bird. Flamingos pop their heads out of the trunk.

Birds sing,
ODO, ODO, ODO

Odo jumps on a tree stump in the middle of the forest. The birds surround him.

The title reads, “Odo”.

Odo winks.

[Chimes]

The sun shines brightly on the forest camp.

Text reads, “Tall Tales”.

The camp leader, a bald eagle with a green hat and an orange handkerchief around her neck, leads Odo and the other campers in exercises.

The camp leader flaps her wings on top of a tree stump.

She says,
AND FLAP AND TWO,
AND FLAP AND TWO,
AND FLAP AND TWO,
AND FLAP AND TWO,
AND FLAP AND TWO,
AND FLAP.
GOOD JOB, CAMPERS!
NOW, AFTER THE BREAK,
WE'LL HAVE OUR
SHELTER-BUILDING CLASS.
BUT FIRST, SOME FREE PLAYTIME.

The campers run past the camp leader.

The campers cheer, YEAH!

Odo, Doodle, and the three yellow canaries take turns sliding down a wooden slide.

Odo says,
THIS IS THE BEST SLIDE EVER!

Odo, Doodle, and the canaries slide down the slide.

They shout, WHEE!

[Giggles]

The canaries take another turn on the slide.

They say,
WHEE!
WHEE!

Doodle and Odo follow the canaries down the slide.

The canaries sing,
IT'S SLIPPY AND SLIDY
AND SO MUCH FUN
LET'S KEEP ON SLIDING
TILL THE DAY IS DONE
YAY!

Odo, Doodle, and the canaries line up for another turn.

[Gasps]

Doodle asks, WHAT'S THAT?

The flamingo and the swans participate in an obstacle course.

[Grunting]

A swan leaps over logs. Another crawls through one.

[Gasps]

The flamingo balances on a tightrope.

She says,
SLOWLY, SLOWLY.

Odo, Doodle, and the canaries rush to the obstacle course.

Odo says,
IT'S AN OBSTACLE COURSE.

The flamingo replies,
THIS ISN'T JUST
ANY OBSTACLE COURSE.
THIS IS THE
ELITE JUNGLE ADVENTURE
ZIPLINE CHALLENGE!

Odo, Doodle, and the canaries say,
WHOA!

The flamingo adds,
WE BIG BIRDS AT CAMP
GET TO DO THIS EVERY YEAR.
WE TRY TO CROSS IT
TO SHOW HOW BRAVE WE ARE.

Odo replies,
LITTLE BIRDS
ARE BRAVE TOO!
COME ON, LET'S SHOW THEM!

Odo, Doodle, and the canaries turn to the obstacle course.

The flamingo says,
HOLD ON, I HAVE TO
CHECK SOMETHING FIRST.

She stands beside a tall wooden carving of an eagle holding out its wing.

The flamingo says,
I'M AFRAID YOU HAVE TO BE
AT LEAST THIS TALL
TO GO ON THE ELITE JUNGLE
ADVENTURE ZIPLINE CHALLENGE.

The flamingo points to the wing of the carving. Odo looks upset.

He replies,
BUT THAT'S NOT FAIR.

The flamingo says,
I'M SORRY.
I'D LET YOU ON IF I COULD
BUT THOSE ARE THE RULES.

She walks away from Odo, Doodle, and the canaries.

Odo says,
DON'T WORRY.
WE'LL FIND SOME WAY
TO GET ON THAT OBSTACLE COURSE.

[Stammers, then grunts]

The flamingo balances on the tightrope.

[Groans]

Feathers fly as the flamingo falls into a bush.

Odo says,
AND I THINK
I KNOW JUST WHAT TO DO.

Later, the flamingo finds a pile of seeds in the forest.

She says,
SEEDS?
ROSIE, MY GIRL,
THIS IS YOUR LUCKY DAY.
BOOP, BOOP, BOOP.

Rosie picks up the seeds. She tosses the seeds in the air when the bushes around her shake.

[Gasps]

The seeds land on Rosie’s head.

She says, OOP, OOP, OOP.

Odo approaches Rosie with a bush on his head.

He says,
HELLO.

Doodle says,
WE'D LIKE TO TRY OUT
THE OBSTACLE COURSE.

Rosie asks,
WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?

Odo thinks.

He answers,
WE-- WE PLUMED.

Doodle says,
YEAH, WE ALL PLUMED!
RIGHT, EVERYBODY?

The canaries sing,
PLUMAGE, PLUME, PLUME

Odo asks,
CAN WE GO
ON THE COURSE NOW, ROSIE?

Rosie replies,
I SUPPOSE YOU ARE
TALL ENOUGH...

Odo, Doodle, and the canaries cheer,
WOO, WOO!

Rosie adds,
BUT I'M AFRAID YOUR LEGS
AREN'T LONG ENOUGH.

Odo, Doodle, and the canaries ask,
WHAT?

Rosie points to the eagle carving.

She says,
ACCORDING TO THE RULES,
YOUR LEGS HAVE TO BE
AT LEAST THIS LONG
TO GO ON THE ELITE JUNGLE
ADVENTURE ZIPLINE CHALLENGE.

The canaries sing,
DESPITE THE FACT
THAT WE HAVE PLUMED
IT LOOKS LIKE
WE'RE COMPLETELY DOOMED

Doodle says,
DON'T WORRY, GUYS.
ODO WILL THINK OF SOMETHING,
WON'T YOU, ODO?

Odo thinks.

He says, HMM.

Later, Odo, Doodle, and the canaries walk past the toucans in the forest.

A toucan asks,
WHY ARE ODO AND THE SMALL BIRDS
DRESSED LIKE TREES?

The other toucan replies,
MAYBE THEY'RE BRANCHING OUT.

[Both laugh]

Odo, Doodle, and the canaries walk past fallen branches.

Odo says,
THERE MUST BE SOME WAY
FOR US TO GET LONGER LEGS.
HMM.

Doodle looks at the branches.

She says,
OH.
HUP, HUP.

Doodle picks up two branches.

Odo thinks. The canaries follow him to a tree stump.

Odo says,
HMM? MM-MM.
HMM.

The canaries bump into Doodle.

[Each grunt]

Doodle drops a pile of sticks.

[All grunt]

Odo picks up a stick.

He says,
DOODLE, ARE YOU THINKING
WHAT I'M THINKING?

Doodle replies,
I THINK SO!
THESE STICKS WOULD MAKE
EXCELLENT WALLS
FOR SHELTER BUILDING!

Odo says,
MAYBE.
BUT I THINK THEY'D BE
EVEN MORE EXCELLENT AS LEGS.

The canaries sing, OOOOH

Later, Rosie finds another pile of seeds beside the eagle carving.

She says,
MY SEEDS!
I THOUGHT I'D LOST YOU.

Rosie picks up the seeds one by one.

[Gasps]

Odo stands in front of Rosie wearing long sticks on his legs. Rosie tosses the seeds in the air. They fall on her head.

She says,
OOOH, OOOH, OOOH.

Odo says,
HELLO.

Odo, Doodle, and the canaries walk with long sticks on their legs.

Rosie asks,
WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?

Odo replies,
WE-- WE PLUMED SOME MORE.

Doodle adds,
YEAH! FIRST OUR HEADS PLUMED,
AND NOW OUR LEGS PLUMED.
RIGHT, EVERYBODY?

The canaries sing,
WE'RE PLUMING HERE
WE'RE PLUMING THERE
YEAH, WE'VE GOT
PLUMAGE EVERYWHERE

Odo asks,
CAN WE GO ON
THE OBSTACLE COURSE NOW, ROSIE?

Rosie looks at Odo’s legs and scratches her head.

She says,
SURE. GO RIGHT AHEAD.

Odo shouts,
COME ON, EVERYBODY!
THIS IS GONNA BE
THE MOST FUN EVER!

Doodle and the canaries cheer, YAY

Odo, Doodle, and the canaries walk to the obstacle course. They have a hard time keeping their balance on the wooden sticks.

Doodle says, WHOA, WHOA.

[Wailing, grunting]

Later, Odo tries to hop over logs. He falls to the ground.

Odo says,
THIS IS NOT VERY FUN.
DOODLE, ARE YOU HAVING FUN?

Doodle is stuck on a rope bridge.

She replies,
NOT REALLY.
WHAT ABOUT YOU, ZU, BEA AND DOO?

The canaries sway on the tightrope.

They say,
THIS SLACKLINE'S
NO FUN AT ALL
PLUS WE THINK
WE'RE GOING TO--

The canaries fall off the tightrope.

They say, WHOOP!

Feathers fly in the air as the canaries hit the ground.

Odo, Doodle, and the canaries sit on tree stumps.

Odo says,
I GUESS SOME THINGS ONLY LOOK
LIKE FUN BEFORE YOU DO THEM.

The hummingbirds slide down the wooden slide and into a mud puddle.

They say, WHEE!

The hummingbirds take another turn on the slide.

Odo says, HUH?

[Cheering, chirping]

Odo, Doodle, and the canaries walk over to the slide.

Doodle says,
THEY'VE PUT A MUD POOL
AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SLIDE.

The hummingbirds lay in the mud and smile.

Odo says,
NO WAY!
WE HAVE TO TRY IT!

Thelma, a red bird, is perched on a smaller eagle carving.

She says,
NOT SO FAST.
I'M AFRAID THE SLIDE
IS FOR LITTLE BIRDS ONLY.

Doodle replies, AWW.

Odo says,
IT'S OKAY.
WE'LL JUST TAKE OFF OUR PLUMAGE
AND THEN WE'LL GO!

[Megaphone blares]

The camp leader says,
GATHER ROUND, CAMPERS.
IT'S TIME FOR
SHELTER-BUILDING CLASS.

Odo, Doodle, and the canaries look upset. They walk over to the camp leader.

Doodle says,
THAT'S THE LAST CLASS
OF THE DAY.

Odo replies,
BUT THAT MEANS WE WON'T BE
ABLE TO GO ON THE SLIDE
UNTIL TOMORROW!

The canaries sing,
WE WON'T GET
TO TRY THE SLIDE
DON'T LET THE OTHER BIRDS KNOW
WE CRIED
WHEW, WHEW!

The canaries lose their balance. They fall on top of Odo and Doodle.

Odo looks down at the wooden sticks on the ground.

He says,
WHOA!
SHELTER-BUILDING CLASS.

Doodle begins to build a shelter with the sticks she used for legs.

Odo says,
A-HA! COME ON, GUYS.
I HAVE AN IDEA.
OR RATHER, DOODLE DOES!

Doodle replies, HUH?

Later, the camp leader begins to build a shelter out of sticks in front of the campers.

She says,
BUILDING A STURDY SHELTER--
BUILDING A STURDY SHELTER
REQUIRES QUITE A BIT OF TIME.

Odo, Doodle, and the canaries stand beside a tent made of leaves and branches.

Odo shouts,
FINISHED!

The camp leader walks over to the tent.

She says,
MY WORD.
HOW DID YOU BUILD
A SHELTER SO QUICKLY?

Odo answers,
WELL, DOODLE SAID WE SHOULD
USE THESE STICKS FOR WALLS.
AND WE ALREADY HAD
A LOT OF LEAVES.

The camp leader says,
VERY IMPRESSIVE.

Rosie asks,
DIDN'T YOU USE TO BE TALLER?

Doodle hides a stick behind her back.

She replies,
WE-- WE DE-PLUMED.

The camp leader says,
WELL DONE, LITTLE ONES.
YOU'VE SHOWN WONDERFUL TEAMWORK
AND BUILT A BEAUTIFUL SHELTER.
I BELIEVE
YOU HAVE EARNED YOURSELVES
SOME EXTRA FREE PLAY TIME!

Odo, Doodle, and the canaries run away from the camp leader. Yellow and blue feathers fall to the ground.

They cheer, YAY!

The camp leader says, ENJOY!

[Cheering, giggling]

Odo, Doodle, and the canaries take turns on the slide. They land in the mud puddle.

The canaries sing,
WE HAD FUN
AND NOW WE'RE WETTER
SOMETIMES BIGGER
ISN'T BETTER

The canaries take another turn on the slide.

They shout, WHEE!

Doodle and Odo follow the canaries into the mud.

Odo says, THIS IS AMAZING!

Odo, Doodle, and the canaries slide into the mud together.

They cheer, WHEE!

Mud splashes in the air.
