Birds gather in a forest.

Odo, the owl, says,
HERE I COME!

[Bush rustles]

Odo, a small brown owl with white markings, runs past a blue bird, chickens, a peacock, and canaries.

Odo sings, ODO

Birds sing,
ODO, ODO, ODO

[Cluck]

Odo jumps into a muddy puddle with two toucans.

[Splash]

Odo leaps on a fallen tree trunk with Doodle, a small blue bird. Flamingos pop their heads out of the trunk.

Birds sing,
ODO, ODO, ODO

Odo jumps on a tree stump in the middle of the forest. The birds surround him.

The title reads, “Odo”.

Odo winks.

[Chimes]

A large white cloth covers something on top of a tree stump. The campers gather around it.

Text reads, “Odd Couple”.

The camp leader says,
GOOD MORNING, CAMPERS!
TODAY WE'RE GOING
TO BUILD MODELS!

The camp leader pulls off the white cloth. She reveals a model version of her cabin.

The camp leader adds,
YOUR TASK IS TO PICK WHATEVER
YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT FOREST CAMP
AND BUILD A MODEL OF IT.
AND YOU'LL BE DOING SO IN PAIRS.
NOW, LET'S MIX UP
THE PAIRS TODAY FOR A CHANGE.

[Birds squawking, groaning]

Camp leader separates the toucans. She puts Rosie with a hummingbird and a canary with a swan.

The camp leader says,
OH, THERE. THAT'S BETTER.

Doodle is partnered with Shirley the chicken.

Shirley looks at another chicken.

They say, HUH?

Odo is partnered with the Leo the peacock.

The camp leader says,
I'M SURE YOU'LL ALL GET ALONG
FAMOUSLY.
IN FACT, YOU MAY EVEN LEARN
SOMETHING FROM
YOUR NEW PARTNERS.
NOW, OFF YOU FLY.

Later, Odo and Leo walk past a small pond.

Odo asks,
SO, UM, WHAT SHOULD WE
MAKE A MODEL OF?

Leo looks at his reflection in the pond.

Odo says, HM?

Leo says,
THAT'S IT!
WE'LL MAKE A MODEL OF--

Odo interrupts,
THE GIDDY TREE!

Leo finishes, ME!

Odo asks, OF YOU?

Leo replies,
THE CAMP LEADER DID SAY
WE SHOULD MODEL
WHATEVER WE LOVE MOST
ABOUT FOREST CAMP.

Leo’s feathers plume.

Odo replies,
MAYBE WE COULD DO BOTH.
A MODEL OF YOU
AND A MODEL OF THE GIDDY TREE.

Leo replies,
VERY WELL, SO LONG
AS MY MODEL IS BIGGER!

Meanwhile, Doodle jumps out from behind a bush holding a leaf. A small rock lays at her feet.

Doodle says,
LET'S MAKE THIS LEAF.
NO, WAIT. THIS ROCK.
OH, WHAT ABOUT THIS BUSH?
I CAN'T DECIDE.
I JUST LOVE EVERYTHING
ABOUT FOREST CAMP SO MUCH!

Doodle’s partner Shirley tosses a pine cone into the bush.

[Gasps]

Shirley rushes toward a pile of seeds.

[Clucking]

Shirley eats the seeds.

Doodle asks,
DID YOU FIND SOMETHING FOR US
TO MODEL?

Shirley replies,
BETTER. I FOUND A SEED. SEED!

[Clucking]

Shirley continues to eat the seeds.

[Coughs]

Shirley pecks at the wooden post at the front entrance of forest camp.

Doodle says,
THAT'S IT!
WE SHOULD MAKE
A MODEL OF THE GATE.
THAT'S WHAT I LOVE MOST
ABOUT FOREST CAMP.
BECAUSE EVERY TIME I SEE IT,
THAT MEANS THAT I GET TO SPEND
THE DAY IN FOREST CAMP.
THANKS, SHIRLEY.

Meanwhile, Odo builds a pile of mud.

He says,
THIS MUD IS PERFECT
FOR YOUR MODEL, LEO.
IF WE WORK TOGETHER,
WE'LL BE DONE IN NO TIME.
SO ARE YOU GONNA START SOON?

Leo asks,
ME? TOUCH MUD? IT COULD
STAIN MY GLORIOUS FEATHERS.

Odo replies,
THAT'S NOT FAIR.
WE'RE SUPPOSED TO WORK TOGETHER.
HERE.
YOU CAN CARRY MUD WITH THIS.

Odo hands Leo a spoon.

[Groans]

Leo grabs the spoon with his beak. He scoops up mud and add it to the pile.

Leo asks, HAPPY NOW?

Odo says,
THIS IS GOING TO BE A LONG DAY.

[Sighs]

Meanwhile, Rosie and a hummingbird make a model campfire with sticks and painted leaves.

Rosie says, WHOOSH.

[Grunting]

Rosie paints the hummingbird’s rear.

Rosie says, OOPS! OH. NO.

[Giggling]

[Grunts]

Thelma and a canary empty a bucket of water into a hole in the ground. They make a model pond.

A mouse looks confused.

It says, OH.

[Humming]

A swan picks up one of the toucans. The toucan trims a tree in the shape of camp leader.

[Both sigh]

Meanwhile, Odo builds a model of the Giddy tree.

[Grunts]

Odo says,
HMM.
MM-HM.

[Hums]

Odo gives the mud model of Leo a carrot nose and dandelion feathers.

Odo says,
ALL DONE!

Leo replies,
DONE? THAT ISN'T DONE.
WHAT ABOUT THE DECORATIONS?

Odo asks,
WHAT DECORATIONS?

Leo replies,
ODO, THE DETAIL
IS WHAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE
BETWEEN GOOD AND GREAT.
WATCH.

Leo blows dandelion fluff of his model.

He adds, THAT IS DETAIL.

Odo replies, THAT'S AMAZING.

Leo says,
COME, WE MUST DECORATE
THE REST OF ME.

Leo holds up two more dandelions.Odo claps.

He says, OOOH.

Meanwhile, Doodle carries a large log on her back. She makes a model of the front gate with Shirley.

[Grunts]

Doodle says, THERE.

Shirley wipes her forehead.

She says, PHEW. OH...

Doodle leaps on top of the model.

She says,
NOW WE JUST NEED TO
PLANT OUR GATE IN THE GROUND.
READY?

Rosie replies, UH-HUH.

[Grunts]

Doodle jumps up and down of the model gate.

She says,
I DON'T THINK
I'M STRONG ENOUGH.

Shirley lets go of the model gate. It toppled over and Doodle falls to the ground.

She says,
WHOA. OOF.
LET ME GUESS. SEED?

Shirley shouts, SEED!

[Clucking frantically]

Shirley digs a hole while she pecks at seeds on the ground.

Doodle says, HMM.

Meanwhile, Leo blows on a white dandelion. A piece of fluff floats into his mouth.

[Coughs]

Leo lies on the ground and looks up at his model.

He says,
NEARLY DONE.

Odo replies,
WE NEED TO FIND A FASTER WAY
TO DECORATE YOU, LEO.
I KNOW! LET'S SHAKE
OUR TAILFEATHERS.

Leo asks,
SHAKE OUR TAILFEATHERS?

Odo says,
JUST TRY IT. YOU'LL SEE.
NOW, DO WHAT I DO.
HUP, HUP.

Odo shakes his tail feathers.

Leo replies,
THIS IS RIDICULOUS.

He shakes his tail feathers while Odo holds up dandelions. The dandelion fluff fills the air and covers the Leo model.

Leo says,
WELL, WHAT DO YOU KNOW?

[Both grunting rhythmically]

Odo and Leo dance.

Meanwhile, Doodle stands on a log next to two piles of seeds.

She says,
HEY, SHIRLEY, LOOK WHAT I GOT.

[Gasps]

Shirley rushes to the seed piles.

She says,
SEEDS?
OH, DOODLE!
HOW DID YOU KNOW?

Shirley digs a hole beside the base of the model gate.

Doodle says,
THANKS, SHIRLEY.
YOU FIXED IT.

Doodle stands one of the logs up in the hole.

Odo and Leo dance nearby.

They sing,
CHA, CHA, CHA, HEY.

Doodle says, HUH?

Odo and Leo sing,
CHA, CHA, CHA, HEY

Leo says,
I MUST ADMIT, LITTLE BIRD,
YOU'RE A LOT MORE FUN
THAN I THOUGHT YOU'D BE.

Odo replies,
UH, THANKS.
HEY, LOOK OUT!

A gust of wind blows the seeds onto the Leo model.

Shirley shouts, MY SEEDS!

She runs to the model.

Odo, Doodle, and Leo shout,
SHIRLEY, NO!

Shirley knocks over the Leo model.

She says, DELICIOUS!

Odo says, OH, NO!

[Sobs]

Shirley asks,
SO NO MORE SEEDS?

Leo looks upset.

[Gasps]

The camp leader walks over to the campers.

The camp leader says,
WELL, LET'S SEE WHAT YOU BUILT.
WHAT'S THIS?

She looks at Thelma and the canary’s model pond. The mouse jumps in the water with an inflatable tube.

[Grunts, sighs]

[All chuckle]

Leo says,
WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?
CAMP LEADER WILL BE HERE
ANY MINUTE.

Odo replies,
DON'T WORRY.
WE'LL THINK OF SOMETHING.
I KNOW WE CAN.

Doodle adds,
ODO IS VERY GOOD
AT THINKING OF THINGS.

Odo says,
I KNOW. WHAT IF
WE MAKE YOU THE MODEL?

Leo asks,
I BEG YOUR PARDON?

Odo says,
IF WE COVER YOU IN MUD,
WE'LL HAVE A NEW MODEL
IN NO TIME.

Leo looks worried.

He replies, MU... MUD?

Odo adds,
YOU'LL BE EVEN BIGGER
THAN OUR OLD MODEL.

Doodle says,
AND I HEAR MUD IS REALLY
GREAT FOR YOUR FEATHERS.

[Groans]

Leo says,
VERY WELL.
MUD ME, LITTLE BIRD.

The camp leader looks at Rosie and the hummingbird’s model campfire. Rosie and the hummingbird hold marshmallows on sticks.

The camp leader notices the paint on the hummingbird’s rear.

The camp leader says,
NICE, UH, PAINTING.

The hummingbird replies, YAY!

The camp leader looks at Doodle and Shirley’s model gate.

The camp leader says, EXCELLENT.

Doodle and Shirley cheer, YES!

The camp leader walks over to Odo and Leo, who is covered in mud.

The camp leader asks,
WELL, WHAT DO WE HAVE HERE?

Odo says,
PRESENTING, PEACOCK NEXT TO
TREE.

The camp leader gets a closer look at Leo.

She says,
REMARKABLE! HOW DID YOU
MAKE IT SO LIFELIKE?

The camp leader taps Leo’s beak. Dry mud crumbles off his face.

The camp leader says,
I SEE.
THAT'S VERY CLEVER,
ACTUALLY.

Odo and Leo reply,
THANK YOU, CAMP LEADER.

The camp leader asks,
AND TELL ME, DID YOU LEARN
ANYTHING FROM WORKING TOGETHER?

Leo answers,
WELL, I GUESS I LEARNED
TO NEVER GIVE UP.

Odo answers,
AND I LEARNED THAT DETAIL
IS WHAT MAKES GOOD THINGS GREAT.
OOH, WE FORGOT
TO DECORATE YOU, LEO.

Odo blows on a dandelion. The white fluff floats into Leo’s mouth.

Odo says, UH-OH.

[Sneezes, trills]

Leo sneezes off all his mud.

[All laugh]
